As everyone looked Lakers as a bad team against the Brooklyn Nets, let's also not forget how they outscored the Nets in the 4th quarter. They did great actions to lessen the opponent's lead and if I'm not mistaken, they have brought it down to only 3 coming from a big lead that Nets were able to maintain throughout the game. When we say Nets, it's hard to bounce back when they are in a big-digit lead. Unfortunately, it was only Lebron who showed competitiveness and can handle the pressure on that kind of close game situation. If only most of his teammates are having the same actions, Lebron will have good support. Outscoring an opponent in a single quarter doesn't matter If you lose at the end. What's more important and considered as a good game is when a team gets the W. It's almost the mid-season and the Lakers are becoming even worse. I don't know how many more players they'll give up, trade, and add a 10-day contract for them to fix their system and actually start becoming a good team, coz right now I don't think they're a good team. If only they can play a little bit more on defense and be efficient, maybe they'll start winning games. Lakers is a defensive team, they are good at it, unfortunately their offense is not clicking very well as there's no consistency from LBJ's teammates, especially Westbrook. I think this season is not really for the Lakers and soon enough, we might see Westbrook being traded to other team. Don't expect too much on the Lakers, they are done now. Can't believe that even Casimero is sometimes arrogant, his camp will not think twice about the consequences if they will do that no-show scenario intentionally just to save something like a plan in the future or anything else. If he was really sick that time, why would he force to show up and fight Butler? I think it's better not to show up and come up with a good reason as an excuse than fight his challenger when he is not feeling healthy at all. ^^ Not to be a hater, but we've seen too much of the Lakers in this season already. And there's no improvement whatsoever. They can't even pull a string of victories to really give us some hope that the chemistry problem has been solved already.
They aren't tired of experimenting but until now they were still not able to figure out how to win consistently. It's the most important thing for the Lakers to improve their ranking and will earn the home court advantage, and it looks like it's not gonna happen. So yes, it will be the Warriors and the Suns in the WCF for this year most probably.
And it will be interesting to see Paul against Steph in the finals again.
Back in the old days, Curry is still with the same team but Paul is with another team, but a better team I believe, so let's see if Paul will have a sweet revenge. |

How about your Phoenix Suns? Ayton is still playing good, CP3 barring no injuries are also playing like a true "Point God" with the team. I think Suns and Warriors in the West right now and I don't see anyone pulling an upset on them.
The East though is very different, very difficult to predict as the Bulls is coming along, the Nets being the top seed with Durant, and then we have the defending champion the Bucks.
Of course, the Suns are also a great team, however, we only need to choose one from the East and one from the West and Ognasty has his own prediction. Personally, I like the Suns to compete the Warriors in the WCF but I'll go for the Warriors to be the winner because soon they'll get Thompson back which is a deadly 3 point shooter, also they have the experience and have won multiple championships, so the advantage is on them. |
