I don't think the old style or ways would just simply be abandoned. It's about adoption but it's the casinos, there's no need for them to abandon a system if it's being used by their customers. And well, what old ways are we talking about? There's the old fashioned way of gambling through the physical casinos and I don't see that there would be any abandonment on their end. And the same goes for the online casinos, crypto or not, they'll still use any old method if it's in demand yet, the same question, what old way is that for them?
Of course. Gambling sites may continue to maintain their old ways of providing gambling satisfaction to their customers and introduce new ways to them. If the new way attracts more gamblers to come to them, maybe they will use the old ways less and start transforming into new ways that might give them an advantage. At least, they must have records related to the benefits of using the new method and the old method. Physical casinos may still have an interest but the casinos themselves need to adapt in a new way, i.e. maybe they will make an online version to reach more gamblers coming to them. And it will later depend on each gambler, which way they will choose to gamble.
Those records, they will have it for sure. It's not going to be an easy thing for them to just leave the old method and migrate to the newer one. As much as they'll upgrade, what they'll do is a gradual process to make every user of theirs become familiar if ever they will really have to adopt a new system, a new trend that's in the market. Many users like me prefer always what I've been accustomed to rather than to adopt a new one.
3622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum's Update from PoW to PoS? on: February 23, 2022, 04:38:59 PM
No more GPU mining reward, the main concern of the miners that are into it.

Vitalik buterin isn't thinking straight, the reason why Ethereum made it this far is because of its PoW algorithm If upgrades like scalability and cheaper gas fee is the issue I believe it will work with PoW too Ethereum abandoning PoW algorithm will be ETH biggest mistake.
You have a point of what you've said that they can still work on it while it's on PoW. As we're all assured that PoW is safe and they can just upgrade the scalability of it. But let's give it a chance and see if they're really going to make it happen and if there's a good result once it becomes a PoS.

Its possible that they might adopt the use of the innovation of the technology such as Gambling casinos with the use of virtual reality imagine the players can see the actions of the other player but of course, its just another expense just to enjoy this kind of new world gambling, mostly we have the online gambling like the poker games we will soon see more new better experience to entertain us.
They're really going there. There's no one way or other but just to move forward whatever is the market is requiring them to maintain the demand of their customers, the gamblers.
It's one of the kind and whenever there's a new trend that is very applicable to them, they're going onto tests of it but they won't just apply on it and invest on it right away.
3624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto prices are starting to strengthen again on: February 23, 2022, 10:06:30 AM
Do not be surprised whenever the market and most of the cryptos have recovered and go green. It's a normal thing in the market that just after the dip, we're seeing the recovery.
It's not actually a big deal when you see them go back again as they're anticipated to go green just after coming from being red. That's what you'll always going to see as the market just turned red.

Yes, it is. If a new technology is discovered and used in many industries, other industries will follow the trend. Gradually, the new technology will become popular as more and more industries use it. Usually, the new technology will offer convenience for its users so that the old ways are slowly being abandoned. But that does not mean the old ways will not be used because there may be sites that are still comfortable using the old ways of playing gambling.

3626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Proper risk management? on: February 22, 2022, 08:29:21 PM
It's a good tool but actual trading results really are varying from your situation on that particular time of trades. Your emotion can change which will be a matter of change for your decisions which also leads to a different result. These tools are helpful if you're consistent but even if you are, there's always an unexpected time that you're going to be inconsistent due to several factors that you haven't seen and noticed to come.
You nailed it. Proper risk management is more of emotions control than using tools to simulate. Unless you are entering so many trades and you begin to use tools and you need to be consistent with one strategy to get results.
Risk management is what people often overlook in trading. Before I begin to use tools, I have already learnt how to manage my risk myself and control my emotions. To succeed in trading one needs to be patient, manage risk and be informed.
Patience plays a vital part in trading. As you assess and manage the risk, you're going to look for some things that will help you to get over your trade.
If it's helpful, why not? But if it's not then there's reason to use it. As for these tools, it will still rely on how you use it and good you are with decision making. Even with a tool but you're no good with those factors, your trades won't be productive, effective and profitable.
3627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 22, 2022, 02:40:23 PM
Online casinos are expected to become even more profitable in the future of online gaming from a business perspective is going to be very different from what we know now. Most importantly the industry will be more about fun and entertainment than money some gamblers had reservations about the safety of online casinos but technological advances have enabled online casinos to provide their sponsors with a safer gambling environment.
It's always more with money than entertainment and fun and that's for real, the same goes for the gamblers and the casino itself. The advances made with technology is for sure going to happen as what you can read in the past posts that there will be a new approach to gamble.

If the government receives taxes properly there will be no restrictions on it.
Registered casinos are paying taxes and it's automatically giving back to the country where they're located. The tax that they're contributing to a country is bigger than what we're expecting.
3628  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Traders how do you go about this? on: February 22, 2022, 01:16:51 PM
Move out your main assets after one or two successful trades and continue trading with your earnings or move out your earnings every day after successful trades, also make sure the money isn't much in the first place I mean use what you can afford to lose.
This will be my main rule. I won't be keeping my main asset there. There are instances that traders want to let their whole funds stay in the exchange to have a better capital and start. But I don't think that's going to happen with my style.
No one stops you from leaving your funds there if it's assigned to be traded. If you feel lazy of moving your funds from time to time, then don't do it but be mindful of the consequences.

There's a disclaimer on the winrate's site about the possibility of getting different results when you trade live. So yes, the actual set-up may change as you also have other considerations that you need to include. Also, it will depend on the trading pair that you are going to use. And the variation can deviate during the actual trading. But maybe, for reference purposes this would do.
There are traders and most likely the newbies, they won't read those disclaimers that are written on the tools like winrate. The belief that has made on their lives is that if there are tools like this.
It's a guaranteed win to them but they don't realize that until the actual trading setup is being done and they're experiencing both wins and losses.

3631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 21, 2022, 05:58:21 PM
Gone are the days when slam dunk contests have always been the most awaited thing during the all star weekend. It's really far from the usual and exciting slam dunk contest that we've watched and waited in the past years. Maybe they'll do better next year. But still, I have to congrulate Obi Toppin on his win.

It's gone because of social media and lots of street dunkers uploading their videos that make the dunks in the NBA looks childish. Though you cannot compare the two because those dunks on the streets took many attempts to be perfected but they uploaded their perfect dunks which makes the NBA slamdunk contest uninteresting to watch. nevertheless, the selected players have done their best this year, and look like they gonna changed the mechanics this year with this result.
The caliber has changed because of what we've seen in the past. It's no doubt that there's so much better competitors in the past when it comes to the dunk contest. I don't know with the street dunkers but I know that it's a different level when it comes to street basketball and they're more entertaining. We just have to accept the matter that many have raised their eyebrows on this but they should do better for the next all star dunk contest to reach the fans satisfaction level or they don't have to do that as if that's already their quality.
3632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 21, 2022, 10:00:15 AM
Whether that's it or not, we can all agree that he's capable of it despite with or without the marketing thing from stake. That's the reality as he's a big man that has a lot of money to gamble at any amount that he wishes.
And also we can agree that what Drake has down has been trending and made a noise so it's a very effective thing from him. He's got a lot of reach and maybe some casinos will look at it and may inquire to him if they want to advertise through him.

I am more on the idea that Drake posted this as spur-of-the-moment thing.
Not asking or anything on that regard to promote the casino involved.
But with the publicity that stake got from Drake. Who knows, stake is already thinking of getting Drake as part of their celebrity endorsers?
For his followers, they should definitely think if they can follow his lifestyle because not many can bet such amount without the possibility of losing it all.
Let's just leave the idea that it's paid. Let's look at the positive feedback of the community and his fans towards that share he did.

This.
Exactly! There's also the ad that came from Coinbase, just a QR and everything has went well. So for Drake's win in this bet during the super bowl.
It's up for everyone to believe whether it's for real as he's a rich guy and capable of betting such amount or it's just part of any promo and marketing which he's part of.

Of course, it's real. Why he should put a fake bet lol. Publicity or not for the Stake, that bet is genuine and unique. He placed that bet prior to the match of course, shared a bet slip, and won. Drake won't do something bad to promote something.

I don't understand why others should think that's a fake bet. There's no way it can be like that.
We don't have different minds and thinking. It's always about curiosity that ends up with the idea that one is just all about marketing and advertisement. But as I've said, let's just leave it and be it. He had won and he had given great exposure to crypto itself with that bet of his.
3633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: scammers with their everyday strategies on: February 21, 2022, 08:17:09 AM
Do you know that person personally? I think that's another poser that has been using a dummy account to scam people. They're almost everywhere, in most facebook pages commenting and as well as messaging random people.
You did it right that you know the trick and you never fell for it. But there are some questions on my mind, how did that scammer know you're in crypto? You messaged him first or you're posting crypto stuff on your Facebook profile?
3634  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading strategies on: February 20, 2022, 10:16:01 PM
This can only be possible with stable assets and Bitcoin is the coin that can guarantee the source result, bitcoin strategy is easily understood to flow with the market trend, and since Bitcoin control another trading asset such as other altcoins. Bitcoin market strategy can work with all the markets as the movement of their market depends on Bitcoin only direction it take.
It's guarantee in the long term but some newbies might take it wrongly that after investing in bitcoin, they may get an immediate result positively as said for being guaranteed.
They have to understand that whichever strategy they try, it takes one time to tango and they have to flatten their patience for so long. It's always like a dry run, a lot of tests for making one strategy to work effectively whether long term or short term.

It's true, still an additional knowledge for those that don't know it yet. But there's no issue whether you call it either way as long as you're pointing them out as an altcoin.
True, But on the other hand this knowledge must remain if they really want to be in crypto because of course learning must come from the bottom first before leading to more serious ones.
Yes, I agree with you.
That's what it should be and every learning that everyone takes is a good thing to have. Whether it's a serious thing or not, still it's a gained knowledge that every newbie must have.
There goes the technicalities and there goes the basic ones that you have addressed. It's relatable when we're also there as newbies before.

No one knows if that money do came out from his own pocket or been owned by Stake just for promotional purposes and this isnt only limiting out on Stake alone
but almost in all companies do make out such marketing which is somewhat aggressive and as long you do have the funds for such marketing then it doesnt
matter because thats how business works and whether we do like it or not then they have done on things which should be done on a business.

This year's Slam dunk contest sucks and it's probably the worst in years.
It's what's being said all over the social media but we can't help but just let it pass since it's also done.

By the way, Shaq's reaction says it all.

It's like in general discussion whether you call it a token or a coin, they're both considered altcoins. And that's what the majority is pointing out whenever we're talking about a coin or a token.

Actually, things like this may not mean much but it's not wrong to know things like this so that we don't mispronounce coins and tokens

3640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why are there so many coins and the reason why some developers failed on: February 19, 2022, 09:47:34 PM
Most of the projects that are starting, they have the same problem in funding. And that's why they're doing crowdfunding because the picture is clear that they need more capital to continue their goal. But this is being abused by many developers that once they're funded from the investors, they're not going to fulfill what has been promised as they've made money from the investors. Well, there's no bind or contract and that's why they can easily get in and out from it.
