Gone are the days when slam dunk contests have always been the most awaited thing during the all star weekend. It's really far from the usual and exciting slam dunk contest that we've watched and waited in the past years. Maybe they'll do better next year. It's gone because of social media and lots of street dunkers uploading their videos that make the dunks in the NBA looks childish. Though you cannot compare the two because those dunks on the streets took many attempts to be perfected but they uploaded their perfect dunks which makes the NBA slamdunk contest uninteresting to watch. nevertheless, the selected players have done their best this year, and look like they gonna changed the mechanics this year with this result. The caliber has changed because of what we've seen in the past. It's no doubt that there's so much better competitors in the past when it comes to the dunk contest. I don't know with the street dunkers but I know that it's a different level when it comes to street basketball and they're more entertaining.
