3621  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin started its uplift ?? on: May 21, 2018, 05:53:04 PM
1.62% is merely even a gain. I wouldn't even consider something is going up because of it. But my real advice is (and I know you will get this a lot) to learn trading yourself. Listening advice to people online probably is the worst you will get, as for one their advice would be different from each other and number two is listening and following them blindly without you double checking might lead you losing a lot of money in the future.
3622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huawei adds BTC.com wallet in their AppGallery on: May 21, 2018, 03:31:04 PM
They must just be filling in their own app store to gather some more customers, this brand owned app stores are really not doing well specially the ones in android as they are competing with Google Play Store, if they really want to step in the must create their own exclusive apps which I don't think fits in their budget plan. I won't even consider it as a step up really as other Bitcoin wallets are available now in the Play Store. Not to mention that Btc.com's wallet is also available in the Play Store.
3623  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's wrong with Bitcoin now? on: May 21, 2018, 12:54:13 PM
Bitcoin rallied from 5400$ to 19,600$ in just a month, what do you expect that it will still continue to grow to that point on? Expecting something unrealistic in really not a traders way and the price correction we are seeing now is a normal phase to a traded asset online. Obviously when Bitcoin reached at its all time high almost everybody took profit and only some have manage to experience losses. Bitcoin more than doubling its value in just a month made this downtrend long as it maybe is making or waiting for a bigger move.
3624  Other / Meta / Re: How to add hyperlink to a keyword or phrase on this forum? on: May 21, 2018, 11:11:23 AM
Sometimes it will help if you use the "quote" function of the forum. This way if you are wondering how other members are doing it you will see how they do it as their messages will also appear on your "post reply" editor. I find this technique helpful when I was still new to this forum, and even until now I am using it to see how other members do their post.
3625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-05-19] ICO Scams Have Raised More Than $1 Billion, Report Claims on: May 21, 2018, 09:46:35 AM
I think everybody is already tired of scam, hope some regulations will make crypto sphere good and attractive for many people and institutes.
Regulations won't stop scam ICO's and scamcoins, even now they are commiting a crime, and it doesn't stop them, because scammers keep their identities hidden. So, even after regulations there will be unregistered ICO's and shady exchanges that will list those tokens afterwards, although even this is not needed for ICOs to operate - today many ICO tokens don't even get listed on any exchange, leaving no way for investors to get at least some return, resulting in 100% lose.
Regulation wont stop scam ICOs but it will minimize the damage if all government in any countries will do like what other countries dis. Those scam ICOs are those project that doesn't regulate from the sec of the country they are based.
That's why people/investor should be knowledgeable enough and conduct a large-scale research before they start investing or else they will lost their money with this ICO schemes.
It will really minimize it considerably. As of right now there are only limited kinds of regulations being enforced by different countries but looking at it some countries are going to the same route as what Japan and Korea did which they screen ICOs before entering the market. And not only this scam coins can be stop by regulation but by also limiting their movement by way of promotions. With major social media sites and search engines banning all types of crypto ads, the fake ones will have limited choice to promote their ICOs, hopefully when things get better they will allow government passed ICOs run ads to their network.
3626  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think "new" Alt coins & "Blockchain" based coins are good or bad for BTC? on: May 20, 2018, 06:22:45 PM
Let's say for instance "Mc Donald's" launch a new Alt coin, called "McCoin" and Billions of people starts to buy and sell these coins. What would the natural spinoff of this be? I think "increased awareness" of Crypto Currencies. A percentage of these people might start to trade other Alt coins or Bitcoin as a result of this. <Big companies will kind of legitimize Crypto currencies, because people tend to trust these companies>
In general it would have a good effect as it will make other people aware of what cryptocurrencies are but realistically I don't see any ICOs that will be more popular to BTC on its announcement date, you do have a good example as you have used McDonalds which I think as of right now is more popular than Bitcoin, them creating a cryptocurrency would boost awareness to the market but not all developers are as famous as McDonalds.
3627  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 20, 2018, 04:14:18 PM
It looks like we are having a breakout from the descending broadening wedge due to the formation of a inverse head and shoulder in its 4 hour chart which I have not saw earlier. Target 1 would be 8,600-8,800$ if BTC breaks that we are off to the 9,000$ level again. Remember that this breakout happened in its 4 hour chart which means it might take long for BTC to go back up that level. There is still a possibility that this bis a bull trap so BTC needs to stay above 8,350$ for a while in order to stabilize a support.
3628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Article] Over $1 Billion Lost to Sh*t Projects or How to Spot Red-Flags on: May 20, 2018, 02:49:13 PM
Spotting red-flags are a good thing but I think not letting them launch an ICO in the first place is the best way to avoid billions of dollars being lost by investors. If all of the countries or even just the target countries have some kind of ICO regulation that will take place, this would prevent all the scammers and fraud artist entering the market. This criminals also have gone digital and is obviously taking advantage of the lack of regulation globally, we cannot really prevent this scams but the most effective way is by regulation.
3629  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Know How Whales Sucking Us on: May 20, 2018, 12:23:22 PM
I don't even think that you need to be a whale in order to take advantage of those minor up trends, a lot of traders specially the wave traders know when to put their long and short position even if the whales are the ones who have the biggest influence in the market this traders still have a considerable amount of profit not far a way from this whales. And I don't think that the illustration is right, in order for whales to "suck" us the chart must show that whales are below the candles as this is where they take money from other traders.
3630  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Utility or Security Token? on: May 20, 2018, 10:59:18 AM
I think the main issue about this ICOs is how they are classifying their tokens. I know for one that some domestic corporations to countries with no strict regulations laws on cryptocurrencies are creating security tokens instead of IPOs as some of them do not pass the screening process provided by their SEC. This security tokens if they are no good for their own Secuirty and Exchange Commission should also not be good to conduct their ow ICOs as they are literally evading what their SEC has judged to them. And of course unlike stocks they have more control to their token as for one it is not available in the main market and the dividends issued will be their's to decide.
3631  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁NEW UPDATE★★★50% REFERRAL COMMISSION★★★🎁 on: May 19, 2018, 05:02:59 PM
The interface is kinda boring..make some improvements in that direction

If you're bored with the user interface, try changing the color theme or switching between night and day mode. Indeed, seeing the same user interface with the same color for a longer time can be a boring thing. Changing it may help you eliminate boredom.
Yeah I agree, the dark mode for some is a better U.I. for others. And to tell you honestly I don't think that the normal theme of Bitsler is boring as when I first played the site I definitely like it. You maybe experiencing a little shift as you probably came from another dice site which as of the moment you are not used to the theme of Bitsler.
3632  Economy / Economics / Re: What is IMMO? - Rothschild Banking Dynasty Invests in Cryptocurrency on: May 19, 2018, 12:48:51 PM
Let see what the majority of the market will react to it. First you simplify the question yourself, will a bank controlled cryptocurrency dominate the market? I don't think so as it has been rumored that the Rothschild family is the richest family alive even richer than Bill Gates. If they make IMMO a hit in the market they are like giving all the money to the Rothschild away, in short they might make this a pump and dump coin which they will use as a vessel to take more fiat currency. I would rather stay away from this coin rather than participate.
3633  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-19] Fundstrat’s Bitcoin Price Rally Prediction Fell Flat: Tom Lee Expla on: May 19, 2018, 07:07:33 AM
We are always linking events and news to Bitcoin's price movements that if it fails someone will brilliantly explain why it didn't work this year. Of course a lot of people will believe this as he or she is an influential person in the internet. This recent event even if it doubled in participants shows that Bitcoin's price movement is barely affected by those kind of things, remember Bitcoin is unlike any other asset we cannot really link it to any kind of news directly, all we could ever get from that is FUD.
3634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Zimbabwe Bans All Cryptocurrency Activity on: May 17, 2018, 04:58:36 PM
The good thing is it is only an issued circular of the central bank, which unlike a law is more easier to be change or even remove in enforcement. But what comes to my mind is another misleading headline and mostly part of the article. These businesses they are talking about are financial institutions most famously known as banks, they are only prohibiting this banks to have transactions to businesses that involve cryptocurrencies, what their government is trying to avoid is that this banks will also suffer the consequences of volatility of cryptocurrencies if they participated, and other illegal doings brought by the nature of the cryptocurrencies. If I am someone higher up in the government I would quickly cancel this memorandum if I have the ability to do so, this is something we need to avoid as it is hindering the growth of the country.
3635  Other / Meta / Re: Ban the 3rd world non english speakers on: May 17, 2018, 02:43:49 PM
So what are you suggesting exactly? At first you are like proposing that banning 3rd world countries is the best solution for this forum, yet you proposed another thing which is the removal of signatures. You are just being racist as well. Just by not being good English speakers doesn't automatically make them scammers, you are generalizing all of them, when the truth is not all of them have broken English but is in fact have way more better comprehensive skills compared to you.
3636  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 17, 2018, 12:17:42 PM
Bitcoin as of the moment in its 4 hour chart is forming a small ascending triangle inside a descending broadening wedge, this could be an early sign that BTC might go on a break out soon rather than completing the wedge patter both scenarios looks bullish but if BTC decided to go with the ascending triangle it must go and break 8,350$ soon. Another good news is Bitcoin's MACD recently created a bullish cross as well as the RSI having a bullish divergence. Hopefully BTC will have some sort of reversal soon.
3637  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Rise of Crypto Bookkeepers and Accountant on: May 17, 2018, 09:16:21 AM
I don't think that they need to specialized in cryptocurrency in order to do your books. A certified accountant that knows your local laws as well has the ability to recognized where your cryptocurrency earnings belong will be enough. This accountants don't need to specialize on something in order to do their job. You don't even need someone who has that specialty if you are just asking for a partial service like doing your books on your cryptocurrency earnings. All accountant can do that.
3638  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-15] Predictions of Bitcoin Price to Sky-High by 2019 on: May 16, 2018, 08:16:11 PM
Quote
"The regulatory risk, the fundamental risk around what's happening with cryptos has hit a bottom and now we are in a state of general recovery."
He didn't even mention why we are in the state of recovery. And believing with this price of Bitcoin right now is hard to do. I really hate it when people do predictions like this without giving any factual support as their basis. But I don't like to blame Robert Sluymer but this news maker as they are like creating their own news article with just a piece of words he has said, he didn't even exactly say that we will go above 10,000$ now.
3639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's just start using Satoshis when talking about bitcoin on: May 16, 2018, 05:50:10 PM
Could you make things clear? Are you talking about a satoshi will equal to 1 U.S. Dollar? If that is what you meant I don't think it is a good idea as it is nowhere possible as of the moment thinking that 1 satoshi is equal to a dollar is like thinking Bitcoin will be priced at 100 million dollars which is nowhere near on where we at right now.

Well, the Zimbabwean dollar is probably already at parity with satoshis... Don't forget we're talking about fiat money.

And with numbers like the ones on http://www.usdebtclock.org/ I don't trust the US economy 100%.

To be clear, the satoshi/USD parity was just an exaggeration, that being said even if we don't hit parity 100,000 satoshis sounds better than 1 mbtc and 50,000 satoshis sounds better then 0.5 mbtc.

Plenty of zeroes and no need for decimals is a huge advantage for bitcoin imo.

Will combat the total nonsense that bitcoin is expensive if just a cent can buy you certain amount of satoshis or mSats.
No it does not. It rather makes things more complicated to be honest, I remembered that faucet sites are just using the words satoshis to make their claimers think that they have huge rewards. To be clear I would still use .001BTC instead of 1 mBtc or 100,000 satoshis to avoid confusion with other members especially the ones that are new to Bitcoin. Adding more zeroes indeed makes it look more valuable but it adds a lot of confusion to people. And also to clarify you the hyper inflation that happened to Zimbabwe is due to their wrong doing, they thought that overprinting their own money as well as creating big bank notes is a good economical solution which is not.
