I think it is best to delete "merit system". Who likes Merit?  I hate it so much. Only shitpostes and "don't care about forum" people hates our new system. This is the only thing that can stop members here doing shitpost and one-liner while earning huge money in altc. Do you think about that? You're just thinking only yourself and don't care about the forum. If you can't earn merits while you are posting more and more, the merit system is not the problem, you. That's why you are hating the system that has many advantage to our forum. Then if this is the case, you are not allowed to hate it just for not receiving merits, hate the quality of your post. |

I join bounty since i don't have enough money to invest in some projects that;s why i am sacrificing my time and putting an effort in some bounties. It's easy to have bounties if you really want to work with it and have some time management since im a student in a precious university so managing time is my priority. Hello! Even bitcoin is used also, do you think the value of bitcoin becomes low? it gives no effect at all. Popularity of bitcoin becomes big because of many investors in the world not in crimes. It's a normal thing for some but still it's dangerous for having this system, it's makes me concern about what will happen next in monero. |

You can't merit yourself, it seems you can cheat the system if that's the case. This will only show that yourself is the only one supports your own topic and maybe the topic is not enough to be merited, that's questionable. The system is fair enough for all members here even in jr. members, you must appreciate little things and don't think about the disadvantages of this system because it's only shows selfishness. Don't think some obvious question in your mind and just explore things. |

I received an email from MyEtherWallet to claim some tokens of an airdrop I joined. Hovering my mouse over the link, I discovered it's a link to another cgi scripted site.
Interestingly you don't create MEW wallets using email addresses.
Guys be careful and be vigilant.

Did you start with more knowledge before investing and joining in some bounties? if no, how did you manage to earn profits if you lack in knowledge. Knowledge is a very important thing to be set in ourselves because this pathway will help us to be successful in crypto. I just saw a post asking if girls are in the cypto world and am forced to make a post about this because of some comments I read... I want to make it clear that there are actually girls in the crypto world and am definitely proud to be one of the and No! no one actually led me into it, I just came across Bitcoin some time in 2016 and being a very inquisitive person I made my research and fell in love with crytocurrency, however I have made some mistakes while investing especially when I first started but they have only made me better and I didn't let my emotions drive me. Maybe it's because I believe a girl can do almost anything a guy can do too if not all. Although I find it hard explaining to my fellow female friends about cryptocurrency, they all claim it looks like German to them and only a few have been able to adopt it but I can boldly say most of my male friends in crptocurrency were encouraged by me including my brother. But I don't see any reason why a female can't invest in cryptocurrency and I do not think this is something about gender as I know people(males) who are still scared to invest in cryptocurrency so I think it's more like a personal thing and decision. Am so sure there are females in this forum like me, pls do signify...may God bless our hustle.  I know many girls who do bounties and learning about cryptocurrency. Gender is not really the thing here in crypto, it doesn't matter if what you are, profit matters. If you are interested in knowledge about crypto then you are welcome here, there are no restrictions. Like in networking, girls also makes money through pyramiding and get huge profits. Actually the economic system really affects on how you will interact to the world, girls are also affected so they also make a way to earn incomes. We all know that girls are socially active and don't have interest on advance technologies but there are social media campaigns that fits to them. |

I used to lurk here and reddit as well. But I've found that this place is more helpful in gaining knowledge (especially compared to reddit).
Maybe in the future I might also get into campaigns and bounties, but for now, I'm still learning a lot.

I think there is no problem about the existing system in our forum today but it's good to have a research how does individuals interact with it. The thing is, your research can be seen in many threads here in meta or other sections. The answers you needed are the topics created by some members this past few weeks, when the merit system launched.
The users who said that they hate this merit system, are the one who wants to aim higher rank for doing such bounties. They are irritated because some of them are shitposters who only think about their income and don't care about in our community. The two kinds of people in here are;
1. The one who really care about our forum &
2. the one who doesn't care about and thinks only money.
The no. 2 type of members are really affected about merit system so maybe i'll suggest to you to have a research about why people don't want merit system.
