3641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you keep your private keys?? I need good ideas!! on: March 03, 2018, 12:33:10 AM
This is kinda a sketchy question but I keep mine in my user profile.  Go ahead and check it out if you want access to my .5 BTC...  Grin
3642  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏀 2018 March Madness Coming Soon! 🏀 safe. anonymous. the future of betting 🏀 on: February 27, 2018, 08:04:37 AM
Nitrogen is quick to lock accounts, and ban you and ignore you.
I had to go through HELL to get Nitrogen to unlock one of my few accounts, which I was 100% cooperative with when they accused me of cheating at poker.  Fact is, I never had more than 1 account at the poker tables; the thought had never crossed my mind because I'm not a cheater and I knew what they could do.
Even though I had nowhere near as much $$$ as you're dealing with, you are lucky they didn't ban you and throw away the key for using VPN, which I always thought was against TOS  Huh
3643  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2018, 07:53:47 AM
The children in my family are almost all familiar with Bitcoin, as they received some from one of my elder family members for Christmas a few years back.
Hopefully they all still have it but that's on their parents.
3644  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 27, 2018, 07:51:35 AM
Considering your audience, I would say most people will agree that investing in bitcoin or any other currency is "better" than sitting on fiat.
Go to a USD forum board and they will bash Bitcoin
3645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 20 year old girl with 300 bitcoin, still in a pity situation. on: February 27, 2018, 07:48:04 AM
Is this a "REAL" story?
If they're really sisters, they should be helping each other.
There's no problem with trying bitcoin again.
It's a loss but she needs to overcome it.

What if money is stronger than love here and the sister only cares about money?  Maybe they are on bad terms.
It's a sad story (real or fake), but nothing new.
3646  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: February 23, 2018, 12:54:25 AM
Settle down fella, there are days of solid red and days where it's green as a salad.
This is a game of patience and I am not in favor of your idea of buying Tether.
I was never a fan and there are too many shady stories going around about this coin.
Stick to the basics and revisit your portfolio later this year expecting gains.
3647  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If marriages can expire, will you still renew? on: February 23, 2018, 12:50:08 AM
I'm happily married and can't ever see my marriage expiring.
By expiration do you mean falling out of love and getting a divorce?
Maybe in your country, marriages expire but as far as I know in the Good Ol US of A there is no such thing an expiration date on a person's marriage.
3648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: February 23, 2018, 12:48:20 AM
I travel for work (a lot) and can only dream of the day when all major hotel chains will accept Bitcoin (or some form of crypto currency).

Imagine if major hotel chains like Marriott, Hilton and Four Seasons accepted Bitcoin and even offered an incentive to use it when staying with them?

As much as I hate to spend my coins, a buy 1 night get 1 night for free when you use Bitcoin sure does sound nice.
3649  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now or later? on: February 23, 2018, 12:46:37 AM
It's never a bad time to buy Bitcoin, and since we don't really know when is the "good" vs the "bad" time, I say buy what  you can afford to lose.

Sure, Bitcoin will more than likely see $20k again but it may not be this year.

I sure hope I am wrong but anyone predicting otherwise is simply speculating.
3650  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen Sports 🏂Winter Olympics 2018 🎿 Turn 0.001 to 0.1 BTC Free Bet! ⛷️ on: February 23, 2018, 12:45:17 AM
It sounds as if Nitrogen is going through some changes, hopefully for the better.

What was once the go to book for bitcoin sports betting is suddenly not a operation i would recommend to my friends who are just now getting into bitcoin and sports betting.

It's bad enough that I have to submit a request, then remind the chat room mod to "pass it to graders."  It wasn't like this years ago..

But now we have to wait 24 hours to receive our money, and on top of it we have to pay for a withdrawal.

It's only a matter of time before a new sportsbook comes out and dominates this space.  Nitrogen is slowly laying an egg that I thought they never would.
3651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Gold : Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again on: February 14, 2018, 06:36:15 AM
My colleague and I were just today discussing how important BTG will play in the future of crypto currencies.  We pondered if we should hold the free coins or trade them for already established projects (BTC, ETH).
Decided to end up HODLing these like the rest.
3652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: February 14, 2018, 06:33:28 AM
ETC almost returned to the peak, keep it up! And this despite the fact that other coins top-20 is  -50-90% from peak now

Any news coming out of central, or is this just our time?   Remind me to never sell off free coins (had much more of these back in the day than I do now).
3653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: February 14, 2018, 06:32:17 AM
Pleasantly surprised to see this token remain in the green for the past few days.  And up overall those past days.  One of the more legit projects on the market.
3654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: February 14, 2018, 06:30:45 AM
Getting ready for a little ride here maybe?
3655  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen Sports 🏂Winter Olympics 2018 🎿 Betting Lines Now Up! ⛷️ on: February 10, 2018, 02:23:25 AM
Well, it's nice to see that Nitrogen honors what they ultimately must do, refund cancelled bets.

It's a shame that it must resort to calling them out in a public forum to get what is rightfully yours.

Thanks for rightfully refunding my cancelled wagers.

Hopefully, next time it won't take almost 1 week.

3656  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogen Sports 🏂Winter Olympics 2018 🎿 Betting Lines Now Up! ⛷️ on: February 09, 2018, 07:24:22 PM
Six days ago I informed Nitrogen about a cancelled match.
I have yet to be refunded.
To make matters worse, the match was already off the betting board.
So they know it's cancelled at this point.
They are giving me the run around about needing at least 2 official sources.
I have already sent 3 sources including ESPN and the organization's official site  Angry

What is going on Nitrogen?!?

5 years from now, I will probably be more grateful that I held on to my Ethereum
3659  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 24, 2018, 08:39:53 PM
"Investing" money is a better way to acquire wealth, either quickly or long term.
"Saving" money doesn't really add to your stack, even if you "save" it in a bank.  Last time I checked, interest rates for savings accounts are around 1-2 %.
For that reason alone, I choose to take my investments to crypto.
3660  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: January 24, 2018, 08:35:41 PM
TREZOR Wallet is my preferred and recommended wallet of choice for all cryptos.  Often people ask me about the Ledgar wallet (another good one) but if you're looking for simplicity and value, you can't go wrong with the
TREZOR wallet.  Be careful not to buy a used crypto wallet as you'll only be asking for problems.
