3641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW LOW BTC CAN GO? on: April 07, 2020, 12:34:20 PM
This year 2020 the low bitcoin went was around $4k to $3k, which was a big surprise to many and we were also thinking it will go below that. In another way round that was the lowest low any trader should have bag more.
One also has to understand the reason for the slump and it was pretty clear that there might be a manic sell because of the COVID-19 and I heard even miners are affected by the virus and another big reason for the dump was because the PlusToken scam took place and they moved out funds and sold a big part of it which caused a sudden drop in price overnight and now as you can see the price has again starting to climb to it's actual average price.

These dumps happen from time to time and it only makes bitcoin more stronger because after every dump those coins are then grabbed by more people and it is always an ideal situation where everyone has some coins rather than some people holding most of them and swinging market at their will.
3642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and covid-19 : Which is more risky ? on: April 07, 2020, 07:20:45 AM
Covid 2019 Is more risky I feel so beacuse not only it can lead to take your life beacuse of which it can effect many other people as well and they can be at risk as well . While in gambling if you are playing just for fun then it is totally fine as you would not be out of your control and will be in your limits .
If even you are gambling NOT FOR FUN and loosing money that is still way less threatening than the corona virus because there is nothing you can do apart from praying once you are tested positive for corona virus.

There is a complete lock-down right now in most countries to avoid the spreading of virus and times are so much tense that I fear moving out of my house even for daily needs. I don't think this thread makes any sense to me because it is comparing a hobby against a pandemic which is pretty silly in itself.

I wish anyone reading this thread to have a healthy day and future and please stay inside avoid any travelling until its over.
3643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 06, 2020, 09:02:48 PM
Why can't we just cancel without proclaiming any champions? Maybe we can just simply say that there was no champions this season and call it an end? That would potentially be enough honestly because who really would agree on any champions at all right now, no matter who you pick and how you pick it there will be people who will be against it, and even though becoming a champion automatically would help financially to some teams, it would also not be welcomed all that much because they would know that they will be basically mercilessly mocked for it forever.

I think best case right now is cancelling the league, and saying there is no champions at all, there is no playoffs, there is nothing. Maybe they can do awards though, I know that wouldn't mean too much but MVP, MIP, COTY, DPOY and so forth could maybe happen, those are still viable.
3644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: April 06, 2020, 08:28:46 PM
Definitely professional help. Without getting any professional help, doing something in this magnitude is not really possible. Can you slow down? Can you stop for a while? Sure you can, but eventually you may end up relapsing and doing again. I know this from myself, I have quit gambling god knows how many times and eventually came back, quit again and come back.

Thankfully those quitting periods takes longer and longer these days and that is good, the longer I don't gamble the less I can hurt my finances but I always go back to gambling eventually no matter how long I give a break. However if you get professional help, they will know the right steps to take for quitting and they will help you much better than you can because they know the path hundreds of people took to quit, you only know your own path.
3645  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading signals... on: April 05, 2020, 08:36:01 PM
It would be great if you can just give a little insights on the Technical analysis on the signal that you give more confidence.

Do you know why most trading signals does not work nowadays, because every body knows them and informational advantage is getting  neutralized. May be you think other ways, but game theory imply that very clearly.
That is the secret thing about the super rich people that we will never be able to do or mimic. They are buying right now, they already have money and now that everything is going down, they buy right now because at the bottom when you buy there is really no losing, you are only losing your time because it could be 10k tomorrow or in a month or in a year but it WILL be 10k once again one day, so what are the rich people do? They either buy it outright or they get a loan or they do something to find that money no matter what and try to pay it no matter what as well.

In the end they make that hefty profit of 50% or so and than they sell and pay off everything else and left with huge sum of money in their hands. What does the small timer not rich person do? Sell when they saw price going down because they are afraid they will lose all their money.
3646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin last forever? on: April 05, 2020, 07:40:06 PM
It is not really about quality to be at the top, bitcoin is the first mover and it is riding on the first mover advantage and nothing else.

I can name 50 coins that are much better than bitcoin when it comes to blockchain, the quality of bitcoin and basically bitcoins blockchain is nothing compared to almost all other newer ones because they all put work into bitcoins blockchain and improved it and then improved the improved version and then kept on improving the improved versions back to back to create amazing ones.

Why bitcoin is high? Because it has the most interest from people, it is listed everywhere as the main one, it is also accepted in some places and also heard by a lot more people than all others combined. In order for another coin to pass it, you have to do marketing in 10+ billion dollars range to get it to that level, unlikely from anyone to do something like that for a new coin.
3647  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 - The major reason for the current fall of Bitcoin on: April 05, 2020, 06:52:14 PM
You think bitcoin hasn't recovered as much as the stock world has recovered? Where do you really live? I mean in some nations maybe stock market recovered a lot faster than what crypto did but as widely regarded as the most important one, american stock markets haven't done anything different than crypto did.

Nasdaq 100 was around 8671 a month ago, now 7528, which is still a huge fall tbf, NYSE 100 was around 3039 a month ago or so and right now 2980, tbf not all that much of a drop so thats fine, Dow Jones was around 21406 and right now around 21050 or so which is still a bit of fall and we have bitcoin, that was around 7700ish levels and right now around 6800 levels, a steep fall sure but bigger than everything else? I doubt so, it is closer to what others have done as well.
3648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are your safe haven now? on: April 05, 2020, 11:25:20 AM
I don’t even have time to be thinking of safe haven. The coins I am holding now is still the coins I’m holding before. If the price is already down, then why should I be swapping to another coin? I already made the loss, so there is no need to be looking for safe haven, I’d rather leave the money there till the price goes up, because I am very sure that no matter what, the price of these cryptocurrencies will still go back up.

As of now I have my money in Bitcoin, Ripple, Litecoin, Ethereum, MTC and waves but that does not mean that my money is in safe heaven but I tried to ensure that the best level I could and the rest is just based on my luck factor. In future, I will keep on looking for new such assured opportunity which means even few fails in my previous selection that may be compensated by new investments.
3649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bitcoin and Altcoins bullish together on: April 05, 2020, 10:04:55 AM
Have you checked the coins that correlates with Bitcoin? Like eth, bch, stellar, and the rest of them? The price of BTC went up to $6,800+ and the chart movement of these other coins are also similar to that of BTC and they are increasing in price as well.

A lot of altcoins in the market goes up when Bitcoin starts going up, and there are some of them that gains more percentage increase than Bitcoin; when you invest in these ones you’re going to make more profit than investing in bitcoin, but when it starts falling back you’re also going to make big loss on your money.
3650  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stimulus plus halving could cause the real crypto bull on: April 04, 2020, 10:24:07 AM
I will only agree with halving, but as for stimulus? left for that, there wouldn't be any bull at all. I don't think will invest with such money in bitcoin when they already know that the situation is hard and they are looking for food and things to survive with, some will need money to clear out some bills that will be waiting for them and investing in bitcoin at this time is kind of risk, because you can't predict where the market is heading to; you can invest your money and the market will plummet to a very low price and that would be how you end up losing your money, and if it goes up, lucky you. Anyone that's investing in bitcoin right now will be someone that already has enough.
3651  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet would become the most expensive commodity in the world. on: April 04, 2020, 09:10:17 AM
Internet companies are the ones that are really going to benefit at this time because everyone is at home and most people are spending their time on TikTok, Triller, and Instagram and other social platforms. Whenever I open my Instagram I'm always seeing Triller and TikTok videos, like so many of them everyday. That shows that a lot of people are bored and they are looking for ways that they can keep themselves busy and not get bored.

Another set of people are the internet/network providers, they are other companies that are going to profit, but I'm hoping that they cut their charges and make things easy for people.
3652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: April 04, 2020, 08:01:43 AM
It all depends on the air drop isn't it? I mean you may think it is worthless or you may think it worth something but in the end if you are not careful about which airdrop you are trying to participate and you join everything you can, that will result with not all of them being good, you will definitely reach to a point where it is almost all horrible.

All the above, you have to be careful about which airdrops you want to participate in and make a really good research and assessment before you can decide on what you want to participate, when you do that there will be a lot less coins that will be involved and you can have a higher percentage of chance to make more money. All in all I still prefer coin offering, at least that way you do not spend your time too much.
3653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are calling projects as scam when they are in a bear market? on: April 04, 2020, 07:19:27 AM
I kinda noticed that people will just easily call a project scam without even researching about the project, their judgement is solely based on the price and does not consider that most altcoins are affected by the bear market. If they can't change their mentality, this would affect the reputation of the project, this is like destroying a project's reputation in bad times, instead of helping them.
That depends. Whenever people say that a project is a scam you should try to know the main reason why they have said that the project is a scam. Some of them are accurate, and they mention reasonable points that would make you believe that they are right.

But, there are people you would see and the reasons they give for calling a project scam would look so stupid. I have even seen people that calls Bitcoin a scam.Like really, why would anyone be calling bitcoin a scam? These people are the ones that invest in this project without knowing what Bitcoin is all about, those that think Bitcoin is a money making tech. Lol.
3654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Coin Head Developer Just Exit Scammed on: April 04, 2020, 06:15:38 AM
You can read it here https://www.publish0x.com/boyka/coronacoin-breaking-news-lead-developer-exit-scammed-xkqmjr?a=l9avrPVaG1&tid=scam

The lead developer just dumped 50eths worth of coronacoins at market price, and the rest of the team is also exiting the project. If you have any coronacoins just sell them.
The first time I heard about these coins I guessed that they were scam. Someone explained the coins and what they were all about – according to the explanation the prices of the coins goes up whenever people died; so anytime someone dies around the world from Coronavirus it reflects on the price of the coin.

When I saw this explanation that’s when I knew that this is a stupid project and a scam, although they claimed that it wasn’t such, but was created for a good purpose lol, all I can see is people taking advantage of the current situation and using it to make money and that’s what has happened now.
3655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are You Happy For Participate bounty in this Year 2020 on: April 04, 2020, 05:44:59 AM
This year wasn't as lucrative as the previous years and I am afraid next year will not be as good as this year. The bounty business is getting saturated a lot and that causes projects to pay less per person and manage to get the same amount of money but a lot more people that way. There are tons of people who are willing to work for couple bucks per day, they think that there is a chance their couple bucks worth of effort could one day worth something.

I have a friend who has 76 project payments total that he did not touch at all, almost all of them are staying in his metamask and not touching any of them right now, they are collecting dust and worths around 200-300 dollar levels all total. As you can see none of them worths much but he is basically collecting them all for a future bigger payout one day if one of them increases.
3656  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not decentralized exchange..? on: April 03, 2020, 03:20:35 PM
Speed is actually not as big of a problem as people may think, the biggest problem right now looks like the liquidity and the volume.

When you are in an exchange that is decentralized and the whole volume is 200 bucks, why are you even there? Nobody would want something like that and people eventually move towards something more crowded. Think about it on a centralized exchange the volume would be 600k of the same coin and there is about a 10 million dollars in orders total, same coin has like 2k volume and 50k orders in total at the dapp one, why would you prefer the dex version?

This is literally the only reason why dex doesn't work. How could it work? A dex would be created with millions of dollars in marketing would actually solve this, that way you can have more known and trusted website.
3657  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is Best Trading or Freelancing? on: April 03, 2020, 02:50:16 PM
I think that they are both good, but have their difficult sides, although I do understand that everything is meant to have a part of it that’s difficult. I have been into trading and I have also been into freelancing.

As for trading, reading the chart to know where the price is heading to is a difficult thing for me lol, and sometimes after you have read the chart and you think you have just got it, then within few minutes the market is heading an opposite direction of your prediction.

As for freelancing, imagine the number of people you’re going to be competing with, especially now that covid19 has caused a lockdown and lots of people are searching for jobs to do online. On platforms like Upwork and Fiverr which are the biggest platforms out there , the competition is very high and you can stay for long and not have work to do.

So, I would say that it’s all about what you can do best and whether you can keep doing. If you have enough money to go into trading and keep working hard and learning, then go on with it. If you don’t have that kind of money, freelancing is the best option for you, because you need money for trading, but you don’t need money to be a freelancer except for your skills; you will have to choose what you do best whether it is Writing, Web Developing, App Developing, Designing , etc. For me, they are both really good. Just choose the one you will like to do.
3658  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: April 03, 2020, 01:33:44 PM
This covid-19 has been affecting the market seriously, but as of recent everything seems to be getting better and even Dow Jones has been a bit up recently, and Bitcoin went up too and luckily it has remained with its price of over 6,000 USD without going below and I’m so happy about that.

I can’t predict where it will be heading and I can’t tell what led to the price getting back up to this level. But I’m thinking that this level is going to be the lowest level as of now, and as time goes on and by the time this pandemic fades off, there will be further increase and the price will keep on going up.  Hopefully Smiley.
3659  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the government understand? on: April 02, 2020, 03:12:15 PM
I don’t think there is any other job you can give to people now apart from online jobs. Lots of companies that ordered their employees to stop coming to work, also ordered those whose roles in the office is possible to be worked online to continue working from their home.

There are some people who have now started searching for freelance jobs and when you visit these sites the competition is going to be very now because there will be lots of people there who are looking for jobs. The only things you can do with Bitcoin is to either invest your money, do micro tasks or signature campaign if you need something that pays reasonably, but all these requires a lot of work.
3660  Economy / Economics / Re: Capital preservation and investing during and after the COVID19 crisis on: April 02, 2020, 09:59:40 AM
If you ask me I would say that Bitcoin is already a good choice. You can then add gold, silver and other solid investments to it. The price of Bitcoin did go down during this pandemic, but what matters a lot is if it’s still going to recover and the answer to that is a yes, the price of Bitcoin will go up after all this is over. So, now is like an opportunity to invest your money at a cheaper rate than what you’re going to get it in the future.

There will be a time when the price of Bitcoin will go up and those that didn’t invest now will start regretting why they didn’t buy it, but they had the chance all this while and still don’t want to.
