3641  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Gambling idea - How it can be "patented"? on: August 03, 2020, 11:31:23 AM
If you invent new methods/technology that useful to the gaming industry, you can patent it (and use the tech name as your trademark) just like Megaways (tm).
Big Time Gaming earn lots of money by licensing its patent.

Emang maling moralitasnya tinggi?
Phisher, spammer, dsb itu bukan hacker.
3643  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [DISKUSI] DIBALIK CHANNEL YOUTUBER YANG DI HACK on: August 02, 2020, 08:28:16 PM

- Obligasi Negara Indonesia berdenominasi USD
- Kode Jurnal Gizi Indonesia (GIZI INDON)
- Kode singkatan lain, cari sendiri

- Indone-sia: tanah orang Indone -> Indon;

^Any cheap fast tx coins are good IMHO, volatility isn't a problem since the balance will be converted into fiat anyway.
A few options: BCH, XRP, XLM, EOS, TRON. Not sure which one is the cheapest, probably XRP.

The reason why POS/Centralized coin also because of speed, sometimes, waiting for deposit to be confirmed will decrease the urge to play, and most users have other things to do besides spinning Smiley
3647  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: August 02, 2020, 04:44:45 AM
The problem with third party slot providers, aside from the fact that they aren't provably fair and you can read about real verifiable "rigged" stories where providers don't pay out due to "machine malfunction" and the like, is that you aren't really providing any new value to the casino / Bitcoin market.
True, the "slots malfunctions" thing is pretty common, slots newbies need to know more about this.

Everyone always needs promotion, to say otherwise would be incorrect. But the value that we were receiving from the signature campaign was relatively limited. By comparison, for example, offering the MintRain promotion on our website has probably driven more traffic for the smallest cost to us as a website to date, far more than the signature campaign. That's not to say a signature campaign or other marketing tools aren't helpful, many can be and many others are still used to this day. It just depends on what we feel is best given various situations.
On the bright side, with the previous signature campaign, you guys can "earn" respect and support from the community if your products are good. Your slot game is what I remember the most since it's nice (not because it's the only game I play lol), thus if someone asks me what provably fair slots worth playing? Mintdice is one of them (and the most underrated one).

Good luck with the development, and perhaps after the new games ready, the bitcointalk campaign will yield more returns.

Yo admin, pretty sure the suggestion to add more coins is here somewhere, but I'd like to say it one more time:
"Please add more altcoins" Smiley

As BTC and ETH fees are often soo high at the moment that it will discourage small-time gambler, I believe adding more support for cheaper (preferably POS) altcoin will be beneficial to your casino. Thanks!

Sorry, I'm late to join the party.
I've been busy guessing the slots  Grin

1) Since when should a cleaner have a voice? She does not know how the date differs from the big date what kind of voice is it?
One person, one vote, is the principle of democracy. In the election, a billionaire vote weights the same as a peasant vote. Just like government-level democracy, not every decision requires a vote.

I was triggered.
Relax mate. It's only an idea Smiley

Let's take UBI out of the equation for a moment, since this case is still at the corporation level. To change a government is the ultimate goal of this experiment.

If you set a requirement for such an organization for new companies , there will not be a single successful example. People will stop wanting to start a business because no one wants to.
There are some success stories other than the infamous Mondragon Corporation:

Furthermore, Legend says that FC Barcelona is a fan-owned cooperative.

worker ownership doesn't imply every executive decision requires a company-wide vote. i don't see why they couldn't elect perfectly capable operational executives.
True!

@Maslate yep, that's why I said some, meaning that it wouldn't work if you are a heavy sports bettor. Users can still bet on big matches (and knockout stages) though.

By the way, Stake and Sportsbet are the same (or use the same engine), right? It offers the exact same odds and stuff.
3653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Like to hear what crypto sportsbook you are using? on: July 31, 2020, 10:28:02 AM
Stake and freebitco.in
Stake: they have hundreds of slots (and other games), so users can play any games including sports betting.
Freebitco.in: users can earn, participate in the lottery, and play some sports betting.

I like all-in-one menu.

I have read many articles stated the same situation across countries, isn't it predictable?

Anyways, I'm still sure we will bounce back globally in about Q1 2021
I voted for Q1 2021

The vaccine will be the main reason we will quickly bounce back to the "old" normal. It's already on phase three (for some brand)!
3655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: July 31, 2020, 08:48:13 AM
I played few times on Roobet and for now puzzle slots are the most fun for me because new pieces keep coming.. it's like a freespin because I can keep winning with the same initial bet..
Ever try Tales of Dr. Dolittle by Quickspin? The reels will continue to spin if the symbol matches, and then it will become sticky and spin again. Uh, it is difficult to describe... better try it Smiley

Although released in end of 2019 it is almos the same. The bonus frequency haven’t changed at all and remain in what I call “rarely falls on the reels” most of our gameplay sessions. However a fun fact is that when the bonus round comes in such games always gives you a decent amount of money to win.In slots where bonus frequency is higher most of the time the bonus round gives only pennies and it give you a false sense of feeling good.
You should check the volatility and the max win before you play the game mate so that you can adjust your "goal" accordingly.
When the winning is more frequent, players can bet higher. Winning 1000x with $0.1 bet is equal to winning 100x with $1 bet.

There has been several attempts at this on the past as well and as you may guess it has not ended well. This is a link to one of those attempts.

https://fee.org/articles/marxism-on-the-menu-why-the-communist-restaurant-failed/
There are success cases and failures; it depends on which one gets cherry-picked. For me, if incompetent (and lack of commitment) people gather in a group to build something, they will fail whatever the system they use, and vice versa.

The discussion about communism vs capitalism should have ended long time ago when the US defeated the USSR not through war but thanks to their superior use of their resources, a.k.a. capitalism.
But Marxists argue that Leninism and Stalinism aren't pure Marxism, and the first Capitalism that replaced Feudalism ended in failure as well, so maybe after several trials, there will be a successful Marxism case. We just don't have enough experiments because of the deep love of Capitalism. Even Democrats are capitalist; they just pushed for more "socially responsible capitalism."

this is a disgusting idea and it should be given maximum disapproval and the Professor himself should be ostracized by now.
Err, you sound like a Marxist Grin

3659  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and some metals HAVE intrinsic value! Paper does not on: July 30, 2020, 06:58:37 AM
Is labor-value and utility-value still considered as intrinsic value? Intrinsic value could be considered to be as what is an item "real value" without notice for what its use is right? From what I understood, intrinsic value is technically a subjective thing if we base it on what we deem as "precious". Or is that considered only on the finance part?
Look, intrinsic value (in economics) is an old term, the first one who coined the word according to many citations was Richard Cantillon.

Quote
Cantillon distinguishes between the “intrinsic” price of a commodity and its “market” price. The intrinsic price—or what Adam Smith would later call the “natural” price—is basically the cost of production, which is the minimum price that sellers must receive as an incentive to bring their goods to market.
https://www.libertarianism.org/topics/richard-cantillon

That's why this intrinsic value is in the Labor Theory of Value (LTV) chapter.

The use-value one is Marx's idea, not mine Grin

Quote
The utility of a thing makes it a use value. But this utility is not a thing of air. Being limited by the physical properties of the commodity, it has no existence apart from that commodity. A commodity, such as iron, corn, or a diamond, is therefore, so far as it is a material thing, a use value, something useful. This property of a commodity is independent of the amount of labour required to appropriate its useful qualities.
https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1867-c1/ch01.htm#S1

From what I understood, intrinsic value is technically a subjective thing if we base it on what we deem as "precious". Or is that considered only on the finance part?
Nope, it's objective.
In finance, company valuation in the fundamental analysis should be as objective as possible. But it's difficult.

Plus, if we were to base it as an example of being backed by something, then if I were to say that a rock is worth $100, it's false, but if I had a big company say that this rock is worth $100, then it's true kind of thing? The example may be crude so do give another if it provides a better way to explain it.
Backed is about the underlying assets, not about speech.

No not at all labour value is shit. No currency/ Investment works on the basis of labor value. If what you were saying was true. Industries which were doing much more work would have higher stock prices than those who are earning better profits. Intrinsic Value simply put up is the present value of expected cash flows in future. Sunk Cost is generally never a part of intrinsic value. For example take up any company which has put up great profits in past but now their business model is ruined due to technological advancement now such a company's stock will have low intrinsic value despite of great profits they had in past. Proof of work is merely a proof of existence of bitcoin it does not in anyway corresponds or contributes to it's intrinsic value.
Dude, you tried to merge the concept of intrinsic value (in economics) with fundamental value (in finance), also market value with fundamental value.
