3641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not made to apply taxes on it - BTC economic model is different on: May 15, 2021, 12:59:03 PM
Okay, some news about taxes on btc but, I am doubtful to how will they ever do that? How will they implement taxes if most transactions in bitcoin can be anonymous? (I think there's a big picture I am missing here).
They cannot implement taxes on the coins you have but at some point you will cash the Bitcoins for fiat, right?  That is where you will be caught and have to pay taxes.

In case we can build a community and market where everyone accepts bitcoins/crypto and we don't have to cash bitcoins for fiat then maybe some people would evade taxes but still, that is far away because bitcoin is struggling to get legal status in first place in most countries. For example, a lot of people use bitrefill and similar services to pay their bills and I don't think they can be forced to pay taxes because they are anonymous.
3642  Other / Archival / Re: Newbie mistakes when trying to increase the deposit on: May 15, 2021, 10:16:42 AM
Thanks for so many details and information, while I am still reading I wanted to clear some points though.

It is clear that a beginner has no place in margin trading, as this is always the risk of losing all your money very quickly.
A newbie has no place in the crypto market whether it is margin or spot trading because the changes in price are sharp and rather random. I mean no one, even the best traders in the market can accurately predict the price. Once you gain experience at least you remain cool during bear runs otherwise someone who comes from a stock market would have a heart attack looking at the market movements overnight.

I like the second moment/point you mentioned because often times we set goals that defy logic and crypto trading while being volatile doesn't mean will make someone rich within a few days. One important thing to remember in any market, crypto or stocks is that - you only earn money when someone else somewhere in the world loses it. You just need to be smarter than an average trader and you're good.
3643  Economy / Economics / Re: Enjoy comunism: Venezuela raises monthly minimum wage to $2.40 on: May 15, 2021, 09:05:00 AM
Jeez, what the f!!! Didn't know that situation in Venezuela was this bad Shocked. Damn, I used to think it was just some kind of bad situation that is manageable . So, all these their minimum wage has been at 64 cents? That's really bad. And come to talk about this small $2.40 being worth up to 7 million bolivars, wow Cheesy. This shows that their currency has crashed seriously if ordinary $2 dollars is worth millions there.

I am just wondering how these people have been surviving with this kind of situation. It's very, very bad and I hope they really find a way to get out of it. How much are they going to be selling foodstuffs and how can people afford it if these foodstuffs are with the same as it's worth in other countries?
3644  Economy / Economics / Re: On the future of Cryptocurrencies on: May 14, 2021, 09:21:07 PM
What is the guarantee that it will continue to remain a store of value without the likelihood of a more advanced cryptocurrency completely taken over its role in the future?
Have you used Amazon? Think of it. A new company can anytime come and take over amazon because like you said more advanced technology is coming every day and it should be easy to take over Amazon. But, that doesn't happen. Similarly, do you know why that's not possible for a new coin to take over Bitcoin? because the trust and originality that bitcoin brings cannot be matched by any other coin. There have been problems with almost every coin at some point but Bitcoin hasn't faced a scare yet which speaks for the robusteness.

I actually prefer to see Bitcoin focus more on its strengths and continue to improve, than abandoning its responsibilities to less secure cryptocurrencies that will likely never stick to Satoshi Bitcoin standards.
Changes can't be made in decentralized projects, that's always a problem. I think the future of Bitcoins is always safe no matter how many new coins and blockchains are created because all these coins are on one side while Bitcoin alone carries the market cap for crypto. Ethereum is the only real threat though but again it is so popular because, like Bitcoins, it was the first of its kind in the altcoin market.
3645  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: May 14, 2021, 07:15:53 AM
@Barota
Waste of time or not, that is what the FortuneJack team requires from you. If you are a legit player, you are not multi-accounting, or accessing the casino from a restricted jurisdiction, you should have nothing to worry about. Submit your documents and wait for them to reply back. Your case won't be handled faster if you keep calling them scammers. You either do what they say or you don't. It's all up to you.
I fully agree with you but for some reason more and more crypto casinos are asking for proofs and I am not talking just about FJ but almost all of them in some cases. The whole idea of gambling anonymously is getting destroyed. I don't know whether the player has done something wrong or not but I am not a huge fan of asking ID proofs. I am sorry by no means I am saying FJ is wrong, they have their own terms and conditions, but not every player is comfortable giving their ID proofs.

Personally I have played at FJ for a long time and never faced any issues, let me make it clear. That said, if I was asked ID proofs, I would rather play at a fiat casino because the sole reason almost all of us play at crypto casinos is anonymity.

But I agree if money is stuck and you are clean from your end, no harm in completing KYC especially with a trusted operator like FJ Smiley.
3646  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogensports scam making excuses to pay me my poker tournament winnings. on: May 14, 2021, 06:38:20 AM
If they don't want gamblers to win using free roll then they should not have free roll if they can't afford to pay the cash out. It only made them a very shady gambling site even if it's in their terms. You can do what the other complainant to nitrogensports and then later on if it's resolved then makw it neutral but if not then you can keep it as red and stay away from it.
They have a history of troubling gamblers and that is why nitrogen is not as popular as it used to be when I first came into the crypto gambling market.

It is a very complicated case because Nitrogen wants to make sure that freeroll players make a deposit but if that's the case they should have made that clear within the promo details.

I mean he hasn't won something like 1 BTC either. According to me, the best solution would have been to pay the player but make a strong reply that next time onwards free roll players will have to make a deposit before they are allowed to withdraw. After he has won and them asking him to deppsit just makes me feel super weird.
3647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking profit can be hard sometimes. on: May 13, 2021, 09:58:15 PM
As for me, it's still better to set a target goal and sell when you have reached it. Sometimes, greediness could take everything from us. Reaching our target profit is more than enough because profit is still profit no matter how big or small it is.
Every market relies on the actions that the traders in that market takes (human psychology as we usually do see), but how do you know when people are in a particular state of mind? You can’t even tell when and how, so what makes you so sure that it is easy to trade cryptocurrencies? It is not.

Anyone can decide to sell at anytime and that doesn’t determine their mood at that moment, it can just be that what they want to do at that moment is to sell due to they need that money for something else. So you’re totally wrong, the way you have put it is not how it’s going to be working.
3648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: May 13, 2021, 09:07:18 PM
The best sport or sport to bet on is going to vary a lot fro persons to persons as, your very much likely to bet on sports that your more into or familiar with and perhaps, you have someone that makes predictions for you and have been tested to deliver more than often. In reality,  there is really no best options or sports to bet on as, all bet options remains between two options which is either a yes or no on any chosen market. Its all a prediction, the only place some best offers some advantage is in the staking limit and the odds as per possible returns which varies from platform to platform and not just the sport in question.
Yes, it varies and depends on what country you live in because based on where you live, you have a favorite sport and that is also a big factor when you select which sport to bet on.

Although I must say that I never ever watched NFL in my life until last year and I am so hooked with the sport that now I even watch the drafts and started following player news and it took a while to understand but now I just love NFL once I understand all the rules. For betting my favorite sport has to be NFL for now because NBA is so boring and MLB was never on my list and sports like cricket and tennis are mostly delayed because of the pandemic. Now some good tennis is going on so yeah I often do bet on it.
3649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remember: Dogecoin [DOGE] is not capped! on: May 12, 2021, 09:48:08 PM
Yeah dogecoin has no cap and that is because they always wanted to keep the coin cheap value and make sure people don't hold dogecoins but the world's richest man has spoiled all those plans, unfortunately.

If DOGE solves infinite supply problem, Dogecoin can reach very high prices, but right now, Dogecoin is way overpriced because it has no cap!
I am not sure whether it is overpriced since it hasn't reached $1 yet but yeah not having a cap can create a bit of a mess later on. Traders don't really care to be honest though because they see the movement in the market and they just buy those top-performing coins and dogecoin has certainly been the top movers in the market for some time.
3650  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Agriculture on: May 10, 2021, 01:11:51 PM
you can improve by common method. and you can introduce this stuff to other people you meet and related to your job.
I believe that is the only method we are having right now to make bitcoin to be incorporated to any kind of business. When bitcoin can be a payment processor (and your business is not about any kind of investments) then you need to adopt bitcoin as one of payment option so that people will do business with you in bitcoins. This way, I believe that any business can adopt bitcoin and revolutionize themselves according to the modern technology improvements.

I am not seeing any possibilities in my country for buying agriculture products or any of related things for bitcoin payments directly from farmers. But, I am hoping that will happen as quick as possible in this 4G/5G era.
3651  Economy / Economics / Re: The Modern Mode of Payments on: May 10, 2021, 12:15:18 PM
we can't expect everyone to adopt but we can always inform someone about the innovations so we can cut short the  time it takes to fully innovate, remember that every adoption counts.
Whenever you are recommending about bitcoin payment system to your friends and other known people then you are probably making this new technology getting advanced in terms of adoption and getting it into mainstream. Without getting ourselves involved into promoting bitcoin into the new people, we cannot expect adoption of modern payments to be evaluated. I agree it will take time but it definitely requires our contribution as well.

Unfortunately we never feel this kind of responsibility and this is the reason bitcoin is still lagging in terms of adoption. If bitcoin is not having the characteristics of being treated like an asset, I could not imagine at what level bitcoin adoption might have been doing this day.
3652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: May 10, 2021, 09:48:56 AM
People would just simply ignore the current situation theyre in as long they do have money but in the times where everything is lost in terms of financial then this is where the sad story begins.
But all gamblers' addictions are not just leading to sad stories but some of them cost even their life.
If you go for finding out the root cause of everything, then you will find an old winning moment. Most gamblers set that as a benchmark and then chasing it.

These programs-restrictions that casinos provide indicate their understanding of the problems and that the casino cares about the players
Even it it has a lot of pitfalls, I appreciate that idea. We always must realize the fact that no one should care about us like how we are doing but that is not the case of gamblers. So, I believe at least some gambling houses are having such kind of restriction to care about their gamblers. We must appreciate them for such initiative regardless of it is successful or not.
3653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: May 10, 2021, 08:19:01 AM
Of course, children have no concept of the value of money, and this is when gambling addiction begins. So, if you know any children who are gambling, you should intervene right away because if they continue to gamble, they will face potential failure.
Children are not aware of value of time as well. If you notice when gamblers are not bothering about the value of their time, efforts and money, they will waste all of them and that may lead to severe gambling addiction. On all of above, we should never give out any chances for our kids to gamble; it means we should keep our gambling as secret as possible until they grow up and learn the value of money and time.

In my traditions, elders are keeping their alcohol and gambling habits as confidential as anything else. Even they do gamble/drink just for the reason of socializing, they prefer it not into reach of their kids. In my opinion also, it is a good thing and we should keep this habits up always.
3654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment best bets- nano, cardano, dot, stellar? on: May 10, 2021, 07:22:17 AM
Any suggestions on how to play things during the rise and falls, i guess some sell as it peaks and others hold.  Wondering if doing 1 vs the other over time if it balances out either way?
Yeah, of course. You must always look into investing with more than one cryptocurrency so that you could manage to get into profits even one or two coins not going well as per your expectation. This is what exactly the diversification principle of investment always emphasizing. When you are spreading out your risks, you will be getting better chances to hit your targets.

Dogecoin is one of merging coin as Elon Musk just announced about accepting dogecoins for their starlink internet ventures and for all other spacex operations. You must consider dogecoins in your portfolio for long term holding.
3655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ApeSwap Vs PancakeSwap on: May 09, 2021, 09:50:06 PM
I have been thinking that ApeSwap will supersede PancakeSwap in the future and the price of BANANA will hit $50. What do you think about this new innovation in the crypto space.
Looking at the CMC list, I do not see Apeswap anywhere, which means it could be higher or lower in volume and I wouldn't know about it. It is a decent AMM alright, they have their own routers that they work with and they are definitely trying to keep beating more and more opponents to get to higher level, so I respect them but without having any data I can't really prefer them for now.

Pancakeswap on the other hand "shit the bed" so to speak with the V2, it is not something you do so late in the stage, if you saw that as a problem in their code, I have known about it for nearly 5 months now, I am sure they knew about it before me as well. Not the code itself, they knew about it when they wrote the code of course, but the fact that it was something people didn't want, so if people didn't want it at least for 5 months, doing it now was a very bad mistake.
3656  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: May 09, 2021, 09:33:18 PM
Not only critical thinking but also having that common sense you would need because there are things in life that we do encounter which are bit obvious.Even  without having sufficient experience or learning

but too wary on how things works or whats happening around you then most likely you would really be able to detect it out.Yeah, this can be considered to be a trick since this is a deceptive way of marketing

where those advertisers been using those sponsored money just to show off that they are really spending their own money from their pocket and making out huge bets as if theyre affected when they lost

but the truth is that they dont really just care at all and do only mind on the pay on where the company would be giving out later on.
Gambling attracts people who cannot keep their emotions in check, that is the main target audience for them. Which means when you do marketing like this, you are telling people who can see the reality "we are not interested in you if you can see the reality" and when people who have no idea how fake these streamer things are you tell them "oh wow he did that!! come on in maybe you can do it too!" and that is the type of people casinos want to attract. Why?

Because if you are a smarter person and know what you are doing, you will not end up losing too much money in a weird way, of course people can still lose money and that's fine, there are people who lose tens of millions of dollars, but the point here is that you may not end up losing too much to idiotic moves, if you make smart moves you could still lose tens of millions of dollars if you are a rich person.
3657  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: beginner trader: Are trading signals and bots worth it? on: May 09, 2021, 08:50:04 PM
I have followed some guides but I wonder whether I should try and commit the time to learn to trade manually without the use of Bots? It's just a nice idea to have passive income while I am at work and asleep.
Remember when the bull happens everything works, when it is time for bear nothing works as expected. This has been the case for a very long time and it will continue to be like that for a long time for a while. If we are in a bull market, when you get a signal from a paid signal group, that signal could probably be probably right because we are in a bull market so almost everything goes up and that coin you got a signal could actually be true as well, or a bot for example, if you use a bot during bull market, it will buy and because everything goes up it will sell higher and make you a profit.

However what happens during bear market? Everything is going down, how could they work, they would suck and make you hold bags of coins without selling them because they are all down. That is the difference between bear and bull, so signals and bots only work on bull and never on bear.
3658  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You could die from trading. on: May 09, 2021, 08:25:17 PM
As a trader, there is a lot of ups and downs in the market, you could loose all your capital in less than a minute with just a very little analytical mistake. The importance of living healthy cannot be overstated to reduce especially the risk of stroke, hypertension or a heart attack which are all long term effect of the accumulated stress gathered from constantly monitoring the market charts, sitting for long hours and increased palpitations and heightened blood flow, which are all situations that full time traders experience.

Always try to give yourself enough time to rest, exercise and maintain a healthy diet as well a social life. All this activities help reduce stress both mentally and physically.
Yep, it’s good to maintain the healthy lifestyle and not worry yourself a lot over trading cryptocurrencies. Sometimes a break will do, you can just stay off and look for other things to do. Then another important for anyone who is a trader to do is to be making sure that they are not trading too much or investing huge amounts on a daily trading, unless you plan on holding them for a long term, that way you wouldn’t have much worries.

Next is to be making use of stop loss; I have seen people who don’t like making use of stop loss  because they feel it’s not useful for them since it can cause them to miss opportunities while the market fluctuates. Buts it is still important so that you can reduce your risk, unless you are ready to keep an eye on the market.
3659  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do the same scenario in 2018 ? on: May 09, 2021, 06:51:28 PM
What happened in 2018 is different from what happened in 2020-2021, back in 2018 there were less institutional investors that are buying bitcoin because it was still unknown or they still don't find it worth investing and the prices dropped in January and now look at 2021, the price is stagnating but it didn't dumped altogether.
That is all the difference in the world, it is true the price is not moving but the fact that we are still so close to the previous all time high and yet the price does not go away tell us everything that we need to know, this is not the top, this is not the end of the bull market, we still have a lot of room to grow, this is just one of those moments in which the market does not move and the whales use those moments to get even more coins and I think the rest of the people should do exactly the same as them.
That really speaks to the situation doesn't it? I mean the fact that even after huge drops we still go back up to ATH price again and then eventually break it, have another huge crash, then go back and keep repeating this constantly really tells you all you need to know.

I get that bitcoin has increased a lot but ever since we broke over 50k for the first time, we haven't moved incredibly high, whereas altcoins did a huge increase, from 55%+ levels to under 45% the bitcoin dominance went down and that's all understandable as well because bitcoin price wasn't that shockingly different for the past month or two.

However with all of that in mind, it is still quite understandable if we are talking about bitcoin is not going down and going strong, it is not dropping and it is handling the drops very easily so that is a very important thing that we should realize.
3660  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin not yet at $100k, why? on: May 08, 2021, 09:02:44 PM
Why ? Simply because no one really expected to see Bitcoin at 60k this year and you're asking why is not Btc at 100k$ ? Hmm this tells me that you have no info regarding Bitcoin or it's trend or how and when it suppose to go up a lot because last 2 previous bull run of BItcoin has hit the highest price in December so have a little patience and let's see what happens in December.

Personally I see Bitcoin above 100k but no one really can predict this ...
Yeah, last 2 bull runs ended by December month hence we are also predicting the same for the current bull run as well. I am not seeing any change into that like most probably the current bull run will persist till December of this year. But, I am expecting $100k to happen by this May month or at least in June 2nd week itself. Yeah, there are lots of chances to get BTC prices double in next 4 to 6 weeks.

We are at the beginning of FOMO phase which may get intensified at time soon. This must be the only thing that I am considering right now which will be more than enough to take bitcoin toward $110k to $120k in coming weeks.
