It depends on how long you want to buy and hold, if it is for short period of time, I can guess this may still not be the best time because we do not know if the price of bitcoin can go down the more, but if it will go down, the downturn would probably not be significant. You can still wait for awhile before buying but what if you miss the boat, it is possible but I think it is not likely for now. If you want to invest for a long period of time, you can buy and hold bitcoin right away, the price will increase and you will gain but this can take like 2 or 3 years. You can have a kind of investment strategy like some people bought at $35000, but not with all their money, bought again at $30000 but just part of their money, they are ready to buy at $25000 and also if bitcoin price decrease the more, which I do not think, they are ready to invest more money at $20000. This is a good investment that long term holders will seruly make profit from when bull run start. |

21hours is not enough to wait if you are using BB as your indicator maybe weekly you can see one candle hit lower of BB. Look at the market right now it's very stable unlike a few days ago when the price of BTC hits $26k and all other coins are affected you should notice many candlesticks hits lower of BB at that time.

Bollinga band and RSI work for both long term and short term trading, but I am not that sure about long term because I have preferred to use long term prediction for that, which means if the price of bitcoin has decreased to a price very low, I can buy, wait for the price to rise very well and sell. But for short term, I have used these two indicators and both works well with bollinga band bringing effective result. It works for 15 minutes and 1 hour candle sticks very well, but the shorter the time the shorter the best time to leave the market by closing the position opened. |

If using bollinga band and the lower line is reached with red candle stick, with relative strength index of 30%, that indicates oversold market already, someone can buy, but that does not mean when it hits 30% RSI, it can hit 40% RSI and the market can go up back, it can go below 30%, like going 20% before the market can start going on back, the more it goes below, the better time to buy. Also that is how is it for overbought market when the green candle stick hit the upper line of the band, it means overbought market, if the RSI is at around 70%, 80% or higher, it is better to sell at the time.
But use the money you can afford to lose because you can buy in oversold market and the price still go down further, you can also short (sell) in overbought market and the market price continue to increase, these happen especially during high volatile market. Trade with the amount you can afford to lose and use very low leverage, I prefer 1x margin ratio.

Terra (LUNA)'s been going downhill at a very fast pace ever since UST lost its peg a few days ago. It went from its ATH of $120 to just $0 in a few days.
There is difference between going and gone, Luna decreased to $0.000005 if truly it has grown 100x back because its price now at $0.00025 Right now, the cryptocurrency is struggling to reach $0.01 as investors continue to sell it like crazy. Supply is increasing at a very fast pace, as the team tries every effort possible to help restore UST's peg. Given how low Terra has fallen, I wonder if investors will gain back confidence in the project sometime in the future? Crypto is highly risky so either LUNA dies or rises from the ground up.
That is where they got it wrong, is it UST that matters, it would have been better if the they did not even go for a stable coin in the first place. Investors are after coins that is not stable, they should work on Luna. What do you think? Are there hopes for LUNA to recover some time in the future? If not, why? I have started to trade for years now and I am not new to trading at all, trading signals should not be followed, best for people to learn trading themselves because signals do fail very well also. Because people provide you a trading signal and it is correct today does not mean anything, what newbies may likely later know is that they use signals but still fail and lose a lot. There is nothing better than trading courses, teaching the newbies the way to manage risks, other dos and donts of trading and how to trade rather than signals. The basic truth to know about people that are providing signals, they do not care about the losses of the people they provide signals, all they do care about is to make money from them. It depends on the investment. Also, investment and trading are distinctly not the same. Investing is better, I mean bitcoin investment, but it is good to know the right time to invest, like when bitcoin price has plunged below 50% or lower. Some people can invest, be losing, keep the investment and later make profit, this is what will likely happen if investing in coins like bitcoin, but unlike some altcoins that are shit coins. On the other hand, trading is very risky than what beginners can imagine. Trading can take as much as what gambling can take from people, but to those that do not know much about risk management and using lower or no leverage. For people that have money, trading can be a way they can lose in the beginning and regret about it. |

It's pretty simple rules, I don't think here needs any detailed explanation at all. We should invest only what we can afford the loss.
I only apply this rule to trading, not investing. I have almost all my money in bitcoin and I convert some to stable coins sometimes and back to bitcoin. Is this risky? I think it is worth going for than holding fiat. But the rules applies to altcoins because some altcoins are just shitcoins and a good one just like how Luna was before it become a shitcoin, we can say altcoins is like you are gambling so should treated that way. There is still nothing bad to invest 10% of my bitcoin on altcoins, out of 10% taken, some should be profitable, but this will be after a significant bear market which I am still expecting. After bull market, converting it from altcoin to bitcoin is not bad because altcoin falls significantly than bitcoin. Do not invest in pump and dump shit coins

Some people are whales and are still holding, even people like Microstrategy are still holding. Do you know what these whales have lost? But they know that they do not lose because market will rise back. What that matters is to not hold shitcoin which is the loss that should be talked about. Everyone has their own method of coping with financial loss. I hang out with friends and do fun things to get my mind off the reality that I lost money. Depression is real, I do not joke about mental health.
It was a financial loss for me because I held Luna, it has gone and I know I will make it back and be strong. If there is life, there is hope. But I still have certainty about my bitcoin holding, it is not a loss, it is a correction which will still lead to bitcoin to reach $100000. |
