Well he do earn percentage of his winning though, I cant recall but it seems that someone wrote it in this thread. So yeah he doesnt really need to wager that much, all he needs to do is to win couple hundred thousand and he is done with his stream. Anyway my point is that he doesnt need to wager that much or try to stand on top of the all time leaderboard, he is a streamer ( entertainer if you would love to this word better ) not really a 'player' because his balance came from sponsored funds
That's true he is only steaming for entertainment purposes and earn his share from the sponsored money so why would he even care to remain on top or below at leaderboard at all.The others are gambling hard with big amounts as we see some whales also wagering millions over Rollbit in top 10.
I would guess that these type of people create some interest for the casino and that's worth the amount of money they spend on him. Otherwise why would they do it? I mean, as a marketing thing if they distributed that money to all that gambled, it would be a lot less money, like for every bet you make over 100 dollars, you get 1 dollar, and that would be not profitable for them at all, but would distribute the same amount of money.

Whereas here, they are giving it to just one person and apparently that person makes them a lot more money and that makes sense in a way, they have the data for it and we do not but I suppose it must be good since they keep doing it.
3642  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: January 25, 2022, 06:31:15 PM
The house edge of the dice game is 1% at Bitsler and it remains same always. I believe you (shasan) are mixing up the house edge and bet payout here.
I usually bet on bitsler. But I have not read this page I was not aware about the house edge. I have just checked after seeing the question. I have checked on boom and it was 2% yet still I am partially wrong. But now I and the person who had made the question are clear about the house edge of bitsler.
I do not understand how you would not check the house edge of a place that you gamble. At the end of the day we are talking about the most important part of the casino. If you are not really someone who did not gamble based on the house edge then you are not going to get what you want out of a casino as well.

House edge is the number one important thing since it is the number that decides how much you win and how much you lose. If you play on a place with a super high house edge then you are getting something that is very bad in return and if you gamble on a place with a lot less house edge then there is a bigger chance for you to win something in return.
3643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally got paid for some work in bitcoin on: January 25, 2022, 03:56:44 PM
I write apps for a living.  Someone wanted a crypto one done and they paid me in bitcoin. Living the dream.
That’s really cool. The first time I got paid in Bitcoin was through a job I got on linkedin.com, I was given an option to either receive my payment through PayPal or through Bitcoin, and I didn’t waste time in choosing Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a really cool invention and it has changed a lot of things on how we operate our finance. And it is usually the best choice for a lot of people, especially myself, because with Bitcoin I’m able to reduce the cost of the transactions I make.

And apart from the cost that is being reduced, another thing is that it makes the transaction to be quick. Unlike other payment methods, you don’t have to wait for days, or have any issue at all with anyone, because you are the one who is in total control of your wallet.
3644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New meme coin? on: January 24, 2022, 10:01:36 PM
You were too fast, you already bought the coin before even asking the question on the forum. You should have waited to see what other people would say about this project before you rush to buy it. Investment is a risky business, and anyone who is doing cryptocurrency investment shouldn’t always be in a hurry, but rather should always have a calm mind and make sure that whatever risk that they are taking is calculated.

I do know that meme coins has been a huge hype since last year, but don’t forget that hype doesn’t really mean that a project cannot turn out to be a scam letter. And I don’t like projects that can’t have a unique name and idea for themselves, but rather prefers to copy from another project.
3645  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 24, 2022, 08:36:12 PM
Getting merit just because an artwork is incredibly done is not an issue. In fact, they deserved to be recognized and praised by others who were blown away by their work, especially for an artwork that required the integration of a brand and a roobet mascot. It's no problem

Looking back on the Bitcointalk 10th Anniversary contest, receiving a fuck ton of merit from various members isn't an issue, whether it's from solicitation or organic appreciation. Still, a well-received piece of art is preferable than a shallow and meaningless post that was created out of thin air.
Another thing is, merit is not guaranteed, you are at the mercy of the people who will give it to you and if they do end up giving some to you then you could do it but in the end it is totally up to guess if you will get anything or not. Same goes for roobet competition prizes as well but at least you know that you will be in contention, they will look at it and if you have confidence on your art work then you are going to win something if it is as good as you think. That is why I do not think that it is done for merit, but it is done to win something. I doubt that there is a single person who posted something to get merit without any belief they would win anything else.
3646  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 24, 2022, 07:11:02 PM
it’s common to see users hide their username, but at times whales like to display their names because I feel they like the attention they get while being at the top (this is my personal interpretation). Also I feel that Rollbit Boas huge lead maybe a reason why @Ayezee has slowed down, but it’s possible there might be other reasons too and for now I don’t see any other contender who can take on Rollbit Boss.
That is more like it. Plus when you are a whale and provide proof that you gamble a lot, and you could corner your nicknames google results for your information and contact, then they will most probably end up getting more offers. Other casinos will contact them and will tell them to sign up with them and that's how it will be better for them.

Better rewards, better returns, better cashbacks etc etc for gambling the way they gamble. Obviously, it is not always like that, sometimes they just gamble for the bragging rights and that is it and they do not plan on anything else, but the real reason for most of them is that they have a lot of money and they like to gamble and they want to get the most out of what they are doing, getting great offers from other casinos to go gamble there would mean their return would be a lot better and they will get more gifts.
3647  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We are looking for Bitcoin Angel Investors on: January 24, 2022, 05:32:15 PM
I don’t see how you can guarantee that there wouldn’t be any loss in the trading, when even experts has made it clear that any cryptocurrency trading  has risk involved, and there is no guarantee that you can trade without loss. No matter how good you might seem to be in trading cryptocurrency, there are still times that you will experience loss, it is just part of it and we have to accept that.

So, you saying that you can guarantee a no loss, means that this is not true, If you had said that you can guarantee more profit than loss, then that would have been easier for anyone to believe, knowing that even if there is a loss, you would do your possible best to make sure that there is enough profit to cover up for the loss.
3648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low, Sell high? on: January 24, 2022, 01:59:31 PM
I have always had the same thoughts on why a lot of people decide to sell their coins when the market is going down. Despite that we have seen several bull runs take place over the years, but when the market starts being bearish, a lot of people starts to run from it. The only answer that I can come up with is that maybe these people are not investing the money that they can afford to lose at the moment, and that is why if the market is going down they start to sell their assets to cash out whatever small profit that they might have or even sell at loss, which is very bad.

I have seen quite a lot of people who do this same thing, and why I gave the answer is because of what they usually say, they always fear to lose their money. For someone to be afraid to lose their money that they have invested in the cryptocurrency market means that the money invested is not something that they are ready to risk. And This is why they end up missing so many opportunities.
3649  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: January 23, 2022, 10:03:01 PM
..............
I'm not defending him but there is not so simple: for example I don't love any advertise on email, so I clicked "Unsubscribe" on the Duelbits email. So how can I subscribe to mailing list again? There is no option on the site.
That would be different case, so you need to re-subscribe it to not miss the email. I'm not sure how to do it, but contacting support is best option to do as UserU said previously. Other way to not miss the promotion is by following duelbits twitter account and turn on notification for their new tweet. It is better for someone who are using twitter actively and installed twitter in phone so notification will always come in time unless there is an issue with the network/connection.
If you kept any of the old mails, you could go from there and subscribe again as well if you want to. Plus, there must be some sort of subscription in the settings right? I haven't checked so I do not know. Promotions on the other hand are not things that you need to keep following all the time, if there are any major ones then you could see it here anyway, and the small ones do not really worth it.

Whales will always know what is going on and if you are not a whale then by entering the promotions you are agreeing to gamble in a way that you normally do not gamble just to be part of the promotions or competition or whatever is going on, which could lead you losing your bankroll even faster.
3650  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: January 23, 2022, 09:05:36 PM
I honestly wouldn't bash any other website for support or anything like that. It is not fair to other casinos to be on chips topic and bash them because they can't come here and start to defend themselves, it would look weird. This is why I try to avoid it, but it is obvious that support system here is better than most, I will not name any names and who they are better than or anything like that but I just talk about what I know and what I lived through as well.
But I didn't forget, you can't imagine how annoyed I was with that support, it's they who were unfair, and they didn't defend themselves back then, so I doubt they will start doing it now!
It is true that you end up realizing if a place is good or not only when something bad happens. I mean if there are absolutely nothing wrong going on, if everything is fine, then there are very rarely any websites that does anything bad when all things are going nice. Like, are there any websites that scam people out of nowhere when things are going good? Sure, we have seen plenty before.

However, the websites that we use are not like that, fortunejack is not a scam, chips is not, stake is not, sportsbet.io is not and some others. So, how do you see difference between them? I mean you just open up your account, deposit money, gamble, win and withdraw or keep going, lose and deposit again, and repeat this forever. If all you do is this, then how you decide on which one is good? I mean with this logic ALL of them are good, what we are missing is the problems. Whenever there is a problem, you know which one is better.

I don't think that being down is the real problem. Zodiac will probably fix this issue and website will be backup again. He himself said that they both have the backups and also have the database intact so the problem is not with that at all and all of our money probably stays safe here.

The main problem is that, even during a period like this, lightlord did not came in and said anything about it. Don't get me wrong, zodiac saying these things did help out a lot and people felt more comfortable but if Lightlord himself said them it would be even better. To see the website having a problem and lightlord not caring about them at all just furthers the point that he no longer cares about any of this.
3652  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we need bitcoin... on: January 23, 2022, 07:29:37 PM
The printing rate has doubled in these 5 years!  That's enough to destroy the economy.  Satoshi Nakamoto already understood what was going to happen next.  Many people used to call Bitcoin a scam but now they are investing in Bitcoin due to inflation.  We are now looking at what Satoshi understood a decade ago.  When someone has the power to control the economy, he uses it to his advantage, even if he destroys it.  That is what is happening now but the common people will suffer.  In order to have time, everyone should buy some bitcoins before the paper coins become worthless like toilet paper.
That has been always like that but got worse. Unfortunately the only method US government figured out how economy wouldn't collapse was to injure it instead of killing it. I mean yes, compared to not printing money and collapsing, printing money does sound better, however I believe it could have been done a lot better and not like this.

In the end, FED will keep on printing more and more, the government debt will increase more and we are just going to live in a world where a pack of gum will cost $100 in the future. That is just a fact, we had people buying houses for $100 just like 100 years ago, today that money is good for a good meal at a nice place, and in maybe 20 maybe 50 or maybe 100 years we are going to see that as pack of gums money. Inflation will never end as and it is going to keep hurting people who live paycheck to paycheck and do not own anything.
3653  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy Crypto Or Have Fun Staying Poor! on: January 23, 2022, 01:44:14 PM
If you're still primarily holding fiat, you're not paying attention to what we do here on a daily basis. Inflation, according to Elon Musk, is the most regressive of all the tasks. The US dollar has been the strongest currency for the past 100 years, yet it has lost 95% of its purchasing value since 1913. Fiat currency will always lose value over time, but cryptocurrency will always gain value over time; the two are moving in different directions. According to recent studies, 40% of all US dollars in circulation were printed in the last twelve months. Every day, they are printing away our wealth. Opt out and invest in cryptocurrency instead.
Such an opportunity, and some people would just see it and pass.

People who never invest in Bitcoin really do not know what they are missing. An investment that is made in Bitcoin at the right time can really change a person’s life for good.

There are so many opportunities in the Bitcoin market, but most people fail to recognize this. There are people who I always try to talk to about Bitcoin, and they just shun it because they are not interested in learning what it is.

I usually advise them to give it a try, that if it doesn’t work for them then they can decide to quit, because they don’t really know that they are missing out on a lot of thing. Bitcoin is now more than one decade of old hence people still ignoring does not make any sense but such ignoring people should learn from bitcoiners to learn and adopt bitcoin to get a change in their life.
3654  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: January 23, 2022, 10:55:20 AM
Instead of looking for a way that your Bitcoin would work for you, which from your requirement might not be possible, why not try looking for works that you can do to be able to earn Bitcoin? This is 2022 and there are so many things that you can do to earn Bitcoin as payment or reward.

If you simply want to hold your Bitcoin, then maybe HODL might be a good thing for you to do, you can just buy Bitcoin and hold it in your private wallet where you hold the private keys to the wallet, and then you have to wait for a long term for the price to increase and you can sell it and make your profit. If you’re looking for a faster means, then you can consider Bitcoin trading, which can be day-trading, arbitrage, or swing trading. You can as well do micro tasks online or check out a job that will pay you in Bitcoin.

More frequent wins are a lot more important part here. I know that small amount could be earned if it happens to be just 2% and I am sure that some people will get that eventually but the reality is that so far it has been saved up too long and that is not good at all, we should be able to do this like no problem and then end up with more wins instead of that much money saved constantly.

If we could get like 1 winner per week then it is fine, if we have a lot more frequent then it is even better. Imagine having 1 winner each day, that would give you hope right? Like you could actually have a chance to win that if you keep gambling every single day? Or at least it would feel that way.
3656  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin makes a loser a winner on: January 22, 2022, 09:46:32 PM
Funny thing is, if it happened that the person that received these 25 bitcoins sold them back then because he thought that they were worthless, whenever he remembers that he once received 25 bitcoins for free, he would be regretting it that he ended up selling the bitcoins. Because, I know very well that back then a lot of people never really liked Bitcoin, and once they get it they look for how to sell it thinking that it is not really worth it.

But, when they eventually look back and see that they owned even up to one Bitcoin, seeing the price today would make them regret that they even sold it. No one would even give you one Bitcoin for free this time around, not to talk of giving out up to 25 bitcoins. I really hope that whoever received that 25 Bitcoin was able to hold it for long to be able to gain something from it.

Doing a 7/7 is a very unique thing, it didn't happen as far as we know for the past 2 seasons and now in this season we had like 2 very quickly if I am not wrong, then it stopped again as far as I am aware. People expected it to continue for some reason but it was very unique and just because it happened this year doesn't mean that it will keep going on.

I feel like something bigger could happen, as I have always said there are other big leagues in the world, bundesliga, la liga, ligue 1, serie a all have a big place in the football betting world and I think if we could contribute them as well, we could do 5/5 and 25/25 different bets, where people who have 20+ rights will earn something and if anyone has 5/5 from any league they win a smaller prize as well, and anyone who gets 25/25 would get a huge reward. 5 games, 5 scorers from each of the 5 leagues. Sounds amazing to be fair.

3659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s energy use is just a rounding error compared to other industries on: January 22, 2022, 06:22:36 PM
From this chart we can clearly see that there are lots  industries that consumes multifolds of energy compared to what Bitcoin consumes. I have seen this chart before, though it was a different chart from another website that shows clearly that Bitcoin consumes less energy than most other sectors. I don’t really get why this is usually a point of attack for most of these Bitcoin critics.

One of the times I saw this chart being brought up was when Elon Musk started saying that Bitcoin is bad and that it consumes too much of energy, and some people pointed to this to show Bitcoin doesn’t really consume any much energy when compared to other industries out there. That’s to show that most of these people that are criticizing Bitcoin doesn’t really have any good points at all, and are just saying it out of hate. They lack understanding of what Bitcoin is all about, so they just come up with useless topics to talk about.

Art is definitely a subjective thing, as I have always said, I do not like Mona Lisa, well I do not dislike it neither of course but I just do not have enough art understanding to appreciate it. In today's world there are so much better art to me but obviously I am wrong since majority of the world sees that as a great art, obviously I am missing something there to appreciate the beauty of it, but to me many graphic designs are better.

This is the same thing, some people think one thing is good while others think it is bad, and maybe it was not understood properly and that is why it was not liked, it happens and that is the norm in the art world as well.
