It is a bit of a "Click bait" title.... because Wallmart are not selling Bitcoin directly to their customers.... but even if they use a third party.. it is still huge news. The down side of this, is the 11% in fees that they are paying for those bitcoins. 

Let's hope this is the "gateway" into more extensive buying/selling/trading for these people into the future. They get the taste for it.. and they start looking for cheaper ways to get some more.    The next big thing will be when Wallmart start to accept Bitcoin as a payment option... 

I had the weirdest thing happening to me a few hours ago.... I added bets to a multi bet slip and it "rate limited" me for some reason. I usually get this when I play Plinko (Original Game) ...when I press too many balls too quickly, but never on Sport bets. 

Does anyone else get the same problem or is this just me? I do not want to use a VPN, but when this happens.. it forces me to use one, just to get back into Stake.

Bitcoin mining is not centralized in one country... and if something happen, then miners just move to the next Bitcoin friendly country.    (There will always be countries that will be showing the middle finger to the trending actions of other countries... just take Venezuela as an example) 

I have to agree with you, BitPay is a merchant's worst nightmare!

A year or so ago, I walk into a tyre repair/fitment shop and I see a "Bitcoin Accepted here" sign. I know the owner and we started talking.... saying that it was one big mess and he is reconsidering his decision to accept Bitcoin payments.

BitPay KYC requirements and their "limits" on certain things was a absolute joke and his invoicing and the price differences was just as bad. (Customers compared the price with Preev.com and got into arguments with the owner.. over the difference in price)

BitPay is hurting the merchant adoption ...more than they are helping it to happen ...at this moment. 

On Stake.com things are pretty fast, but at times (Saturdays when Weekly are paid out) the system can lag a lot. I also find that if I drop too many balls too quickly with original games like Plinko, I get rate limited. (It will warn you that you need to slow down, but I usually ignore the warning and it does not accept the bets, if you are going too fast)

A lot of the other Dice sites where I play are fast, but they have way less gamblers playing there.. so it is not fair towards Stake.com to use them as a comparison. (At any given time, Stake.com have between 4000 and 7000 players playing at the same time)

One of my issues with most of these sites are that they are not upgrading or scaling their infrastructure as they grow bigger and bigger.

I have a few food merchants that accept Bitcoin as a payment option ....so I buy lunch every day with Bitcoin. Other than Bitcoin, I deposit some ETH and TRX at my favorite casino to gamble and to have some fun.

I am lucky, because my employer gave me the option to pay me in Bitcoin (BTC) .... but I only accept 15% of my salary in Bitcoin... because there are too many of the expenses that I need to pay... that does not accept Crypto currencies.

They can run their own Blockchain network on their own planet and then create a interplanetary Blockchain for all interplanetary "bulk" transfers. (Something similar to what the Banks are doing with SWIFT) 

Is this self exclusion permanent or just temporary?

A lot of casinos give you the self exclusion option, based on your requirements. So you tell them for how long you want to be self excluded. (Some people just need a break to get back on their feet and out of debt)

I agree with some of the other posters... even if you self exclude your account, you still need to have access to the money that was in the account. (The account is still there, but the gambling features was just disabled)

There must be some "system" problem that occur, after you self excluded... that are causing them not to have the ability to access your account.

Sheeesh Eddie has really rocked it with this challenge.... beating a Target Multiplier of 385.00x is really difficult with this Slot. I have now played it for 8 hours and the highest I could get it was 156x ....with a lot of smaller wins in between.  

Let's say there are only 2 people that are able to beat Eddie's multiplier... will the $10 000 be divided into a $5000 prize for both of the people that beat his multiplier?

Well, infrastructure will point to physical Internet infrastructure and the availability to access the Internet. The connectivity issues in 3rd world countries are huge ....with rural areas that might not even have electricity. So even if you place the needed hardware, people will still not be able to make transactions due to the lack of Internet access.

The way to address this, will have to be wifi hotspots in areas where commerce takes place... for them to access their Lightning Network wallets in close proximity to where they want to use their bitcoins.

One thing that happens with me .... I will bet an amount on manual bet and then it will work for a few bets and when the higher multiplier come.... and I cash out early at a high multiplier.. it will hang a bit and crash... without registering my "cashout" command.
