You spend all the day in jealousy of this coin? Have nothing else to do, right? Cracks
You might want to consider working on your English skills. I can't even make up a scenario in which pointing out a scam would imply jealousy.
3642  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 20, 2017, 10:16:27 PM
I am really wondering then this bullish run is over.

Can't grow about 500-1000 USD / month forever ...

Though I would like it to keep going for some time Cheesy

On the other hand: If 2018 is anything like 2017 there will be a couple of more millionairs on the horizon Cheesy

That is true. Now I am beginning to dread the fall which will inevitably occur. A lot of weak hands will get shaken out at that time.
I would rather that Bitcoin stabilizes at these levels and then goes up steadily.
The bumpy ride is what makes investing so much fun though, at least for me.

The cheapest lambo on the market is 200k usd. This would still not be enough for me to retire (I'm such a poorfag Sad ), but I expect bitcoin to reach this level in the next 3 years and to retire in the next 5 years. In the ling term i aim for alpha centauri, in the medium term i have also some hopes for macaffe's dick, as now bitcoin is doing very good:
https://diegorod.github.io/WillMcAfeeEatHisOwnDick/

I second your hopes for McAfee's dick. And ~5 years for retirement should be more than plausible for just about anyone if the market keeps developing in a similar fashion. Good luck!

3646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | unofficial supporters topic on: November 20, 2017, 08:20:36 PM
Waves of course is next big thing some people still are not paying attention here just because here real development is going on which takes time and will be completed in some time and holding is hard for some people. They will come and join us when price suddenly will jump at $10.

Yeah, just wait 1-2 years and see where WAVES goes.. amazing team behind it, and Sasha fulfilled everything he said yet.  Awesome guy Smiley

Is the beta out now? I applied for the beta, but if it already started I haven't got in :/ Sad

Also applied and didnt even get a confirmation to my email Sad. I would probably have good input too, i have a lot of experience with the programming tools they use in the new DEX.
I think the e-mails should just about start being sent out for the beta based on the Telegram timestamps.

3648  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 20, 2017, 08:14:25 PM
New poll needed? We have 10 days to go and the top option is only a smidgen away from being in the bag.
Poll seems fine. Most voted over $8500, which seems to be where we'll end up. Might be the last opportunity to include OVER 9000 in the poll though. Cheesy

Sure it can. The stock market is several trillions in size, and Bitcoin could become equally big within this century.
3650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: November 20, 2017, 08:11:49 PM
BTC's death is the death of the entire market. BTC is the only rival, Ethereum.
I agree that the only rival to btc is ethereum. I just wish it moved already!
That's going to be difficult because ICOs have a lot of Ethereum to dump after their crowdsales.
3651  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 20, 2017, 08:09:22 PM

Is that billboard real and was it set up by the actual buyer of the pizza?

Users on Bitcointalk confirm that this billboard really was set somewhere near airport in Los Angeles.

It looks like it is not legendary Laszlo, because he paid 10k BTC for pizza (on this billboard is "only" Wink 5k BTC). Probably it is someone else, or it is only some joke  Roll Eyes
Ah right, didn't even notice the wrong amount. Either way, still a brilliant way to promote Bitcoin. Cheesy
3652  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stocks or crypto ? which has great future? on: November 20, 2017, 07:58:55 PM
i am kinda new to Cryptocurrency .
i am going great in stocks. its really technical and fundamental kinda investments
as i see Cryptocurrency its alot more easy to invest and forget
should i shift to Cryptocurrency and start investing without tension and stress?
You are wrong brother Crypto market high volatile market, better before jump in crypto market watch this market someday its safe for you because Crypto trading is quite different than usual stocks
Crypto and stocks work pretty much the same, but on a different time scale. Crypto assets are stocks sped up by a large factor, so if you really understand one, you also understand the other.
Crypto is more preferable than stocks because crypto is giving more as compared to stocks and stocks work on the cash money and cash money is confined to the specific regions where as there is no limit in the bitcoin and it is so versatile that it give you a lot of profit regardless to the region and people are selling their shares from stocks and are coming to invest into bitcoin because they see bright future in bitcoin.
Fiat money is far more useful than crypto right now. And it's also completely false that crypto is "better" than stocks. Stocks are far less risky and actually secure you legally in case of a scam or market manipulation.

Crypto on the other hand is extremely volatile and prone to manipulation from which nobody will protect you.

Sure, the gains can be higher, but that is true for the losses as well. That doesn't mean that one is better than the other, it always depends on priorities. If you're fine with losing all of your money, go with crypto. But that would be pretty stupid if you had a lot of money to lose.
3653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: November 20, 2017, 07:53:49 PM
I invested in SOMN at the ICO, and therefore the price seems kind of meh at the moment, but I am hodling long term and am eager to see how this project prospers...
If you have balls just hodl well into 2020 and beyond. I'm having a hard time imagining up scenarios in which SONM fails based on the current evidence.

This coin did not die?
Why would it die in the first place?

I don't think it was a legitimate post. Looks like someone just farming up posts for a signature campaign.

SONM is undead Cheesy
Just like Bitcoin Cheesy https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoinobituaries/
3654  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 20, 2017, 07:50:10 PM
I should go fish my radio from the river. MSM must be having a proper shit about this.

In the UK there has been nothing for weeks again. I am highly suspicious of the BBC at the moment. They must have a gameplan of some sort.

I have also noticed that major U.S. MSM sites are somewhat radio silent right now on Bitcoin's recent ATHs. They're keeping the public distracted and focused on other nonsense. Highly suspicious.
Pretty sure they are trying to actively influence the crypto markets as well with the timing of their news. Good thing they seem to become less and less effective.

🔥 🔥 🔥  To make the Stage-2 more appealing and mainly to make it competitive, we have revised rates now to 50 cents per coin, just similar as the Stage 1 of ICO.

You can now buy @ 50 cents per coin again, just like before.

You can buy coins right now from the automated ICO from http://tokugawacoin.com/ICO

- We have done this step to make sure we can list on more exchanges with the more funds! 🔥 🔥 🔥

what kind of project goes back in time , SCAMMMMMMMM
That was obvious from the very start.

Claims to be a Japanese coin, but is a UK citizen who doesn't speak Japanese. Of course it's a scam.
3656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 20, 2017, 07:23:27 PM
People that used Bitcoin to buy drugs most feel terrible thinking about all that cash they could of had.

So what you are saying? Back then no one thought that the Bitcoin prices would increase by 1,000x. That's how one of the users (Laszlo Hanyecz) purchased a pizza spending BTC10,000 ($80 million in today's exchange rate). You can still find the pizza thread here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137.0

Laszlo is still active, although he doesn't post much these days.

Good that i saw this post, because my first impression was that this thread is about drugs like marijuana etc  Grin

Laszlo is a legend! I'm not sure if it was his billboard, because he payd 10k BTC and on this billboard is 5k BTC.
People on this forum confirm that was real and was somewhere in Los Angeles:

Chemical compounds are very dangerous, so I always advise against buying any medicines/drugs over the internet unless they are natural.

But if you're talking about paying for drugs in "on ground" pharmacies, that's a great idea! Bitcoin adaptation in every industry is another step forward and development.

Is that billboard real and was it set up by the actual buyer of the pizza?

3658  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Investing in real estate on: November 20, 2017, 07:21:52 PM
There are so many new icos and each of them premise something and they are connected with something. Many of icos will be scams, and many will just lose their value over time cause of some technical issues, or bad development team, or something else, many things can go wrong.
Its not bad to invest in icos, I so it myself. Don't invest more then you can afford to lose, check ico as much as you can, see reviews and if you like whst you see invest, don't listen others! They speak that bitcoin is scam for years, same about dash, eth, bitcoin cash, and look how much this coins worth now.
To be fair, BCash is so corrupt and manipulated that it's actually much worse than any scam.
