In my honest opinion, I think Sevilla is not going to be anywhere near Real Madrid if not for the injury of Benzema. Now real Madrid is looking to be unstable and inconsistent and I think Sevilla should take the advantage of the situation. But I still think that Real Madrid is not going to let that happen and will be the title winners of this season.
4 points difference isn't reassuring considering the ambiguity of Benzema injury. Real Madrid has to keep positive results until the end of Mars where they have to face Barcelona and the month after Sevilla. today's match is very good to follow...

The results of this qualification games will be different than the previous Cup. Egypt, Algeria, Morocco and Nigeria to qualify imo. Tunisia might get a chance also if it performs good against Mali. Well this is my first impression, things could change until then. @snipe I was expecting Egypt to win the cup, but Senegal showed great resilience and won and therefore I expect them to beat Egypt again in the qualifying rounds. Furthermore the only way Egypt will win with ease if Salah completely dominates the fixtures, but if he’s not at his best then I don’t think that Egypt will win. To be honest, I didn't think that Egypt could reach the final game when I saw its appearance in first games. They improved later but they were exhausted with successive 120 minutes games + stress, climate and so on. Many of these conditions won't be present in their next face-off + World Cup qualifiers aren't the same as AFCON. It is hard to predict which team will pass for sure but I believe Egypt could make it for the moment. I might change my opinion later in case of injuries...etc |

However, the performance of the last few matches of Real Madrid is disturbing me. Their performance in the last 4 matches is not as expected. They have to play better if they want to win against PSG.
I agree, they struggled against weaker teams and with Benzema being out due to injury, it will be more complicated for them. Ancelotti seems trying to avoid risks of seeing Benzema's injury becoming a chronic one like Ramos...so far, PSG match will be harder than expected few weeks ago although PSG isn't well too.. In La Liga, Real Madrid has 4 points difference from Sevilla and assuming Barca will win their 2 remaining matches to catch the 24 games, then their difference will be 10 points which is still big. |

With such results, United should not be thinking about winning the Champions League, but about how not to lose at least Atlético (which are also in deep crisis). It became quite obvious to me that United had no chance of finishing 4th and that at best they would play in the Europa League next season. They might achieve something in EL I assume comparing to humiliating themselves in CL vs a random team like they did in FA Cup... If Bayern is selling Lewandovski - that could mean that they are joining the race for Haaland. A lot of great players chose that step (smaller Bundesliga club to Bayern) before making the switch to another league. I think that Haaland has already outgrown Bundesliga but it could be a tempting move for him. Title is practically guaranteed and Bayern has a team that can challenge for the CL as well.
It would be a financially smart move for Bayern - and they are one of the best managed clubs so they will be interested for sure.
I doubt Haaland will join Bayern. I believe he will go for La Liga or EPL to build his career out of Bundesliga which is less interesting comparing to these two. Barca, City, Chelsea maybe, even Real Madrid but I find it hard to see him switching clubs inside Bundesliga. If that will happen it would be a great move from Bayern of course. |

Wow. Fiorentina really deserved to be in the semi-finals. Although Martinez saw a red card and left his team with 10 players on the field, Milenkovic brought victory to Fiorentina in the 90+3rd minute. Congratulations to the entire Fiorentina team. Atalanta, on the other hand, continues its poor chart. This is very bad for them.

Liverpool vs Leicester is for me an easy victory for Klopp to add points because Leicester are in a bad time unless there is a change from a different attack.
Wolves vs Arsenal I think this is more exciting sometimes Arsenal are always inconsistent against teams that are doing well, I know Wolves have shown good wins for several games, but as the host, Wolves also have a great chance to win.
But Wolves' chances are bigger than Arsenal.

It seems to be a comfortable day for Manchester City today. Because their next opponent is Brentford and it is a home match. This is like a gift for Manchester City not to turn down.
