It's obvious there is a lot of fear surrounding bitcoin cash. Everyone saw what happened during that huge pump and small blockers are scared that is why they come onto a bitcoin cash thread (a thread dedicated to bch) and try to bring it down. you guys think its over but its far from it
Correct value of BCH is $300 to $500 not more at current time ,more than it is just bubble .. don't expect much Blockbuster was once a Giant. High fees... well we know why Netflix started. MySpace Kodak Nokia all missed the boat and I'm sure, they all had a very good, but very central dev team

Price falling. Any news from dev team ?
That's the problem, there is no dev team, only charlatans. Not a single cypherpunk on board with BCH. I think it is not fair to say that. There are some teams behind it. That is pure bullshit. There are 2-3 developers that have never produced any worthwhile code for Bitcoin. In other words: There is no development team, there are a few children playing in the sand box. .. producing shitty technobubbles like sipa and BMatt ? - Big Blocks can be coded by children - all what is needed. - keep the base protocol as simple as possible that others can build easy on top. You seem to need some blinding to feel safe. So in the future if some critical bug is found will they be able to fix it I mean they are not any kind of cryptographer so far all the work has been done by core with some amateur dev changing a few settings the only real bit of code that was added ended up being broken and required a HF to try and fix it and so far the new DAA although better than before is still far from perfect Sure - there are different devs / teams (ABC, BU, nChain, ViaBTC ...) looking after - it's in strongest interest of all ppl running the infrastructure - e.g. miners at first place.

You don't think a little bit of actual skill and experience is required to keep that boring old base layer alive?
I kinda do.
There is a big difference between maintaining a simple protocol / keep things up & running and dev tricky things on top of it and get it plugged in. BCH needs rather many teams from business doing the second.

> Logische Folge ?

What a chicken-shit LIAR Back is. Bitcoin Core is not fundamentally opposed to on-chain scaling
As explained by Back, the Bitcoin Core development team has not been fundamentally opposed to on-chain Bitcoin scaling. In 2014 Back noted that a gradual block increase to 2MB, 4MB, and 8MB is a viable option in the mid-term, until second-layer payment channels are fully adopted by the industry, wallet platforms, and exchanges. Blatant lying. And this is only 2 weeks after he confessed to Forbes that Blockstream's business model depends on sidechains broken layer 1 BTC. But the image of Adam Back sweating while trying to carve zeroes and ones into a stone tablet is priceless!Haha, made my day. Midterm, without any real time frame. So bitcoin is nearly 9 years old then we calc midterm = 4.5 years?

Referring to ASICBOOST as an exploit seems rather silly. After all, its availability is a direct consequence of the algorithm chosen, derivable directly from first principles. And you can bet your sweet bippy that -- should TPTB ever get into the mining biz in order to coopt Bitcoin -- they'll be using the exact same techniques. We need to be ready to match them hash-for-hash. For only in an _excess_ of honest miners do we retain a usable system. To understand Kore minions, you have to use the Kore-speak Translation Matrix: optimization = "exploit" hard fork = "attack" forking the code = "attack" specification = "code" former Kore dev = "attacker" advocate for sane solutions = "troll" etc. Anybody read Gerard? https://davidgerard.co.uk/blockchain/2017/11/12/news-lightning-network-new-layer-monero-popularity-ico-securities-tether-analysis-devouring-the-past/As a sysadmin for developers, I’m pretty familiar with the antipattern “add another layer of indirection to avoid finally dealing with the actual hard bit,” and how it signals the project is circling the drain; perhaps the Lightning Network will prove me wrong. LOL only 18 more months .... Move away mining power = "attack" Move away funds = "attack" Critisism = "FUD" Critical thinker = "enemy"

Amazon needs low fee transactions that could only go via BCH.
BCH is a scam. BTC fees and network issues are scam. Thank you for sharing with us that you do not understand what the term scam stands for. Everybody is free to decide what quality BSCore's roadmap has, esp the poor ppl who could buy only for < 100$ and now are robbed by high fees.

SW, LN & 2nd Layer is feuchter Technobubbletraum - für JAHRE.

Der Flieger, Auto, LKW is BCH.

BCH was dead until Segwit2X died...now it's a thing again.
Until January when Coinbase releases peoples' BCH to the millions of users that like free money.
Momentum / trend of price might be interesting if this will happen in Jan - if Bitcoin Core has peaked and BCH comes up, they all could adding on BCH.
