3641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: September 27, 2016, 08:16:34 PM
I dont think you should start trading with a small amount because you wont make any profit with just small amounts if you want to make money with tradings you need to deal with more.
Like how much is good enough to start with? How much should one consider a good profit with this minimal amount you consider big enough. and at what period of time. This could make one set a good target.
3642  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: September 27, 2016, 07:54:41 PM
i  am a newbie also in trading , i trade altcoins, i started at 0.01 btc and so far  so good i am gaining small profits. in my understanding about trading is buy low sell high , choose  an alts that you think that have the potential to pump, doing some research may help before you buy.
I love to hear 'do some research'. How do you go about your research on the internet? List the important features you look for in a promising altcoin.
3643  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Forum's Security on: September 27, 2016, 09:32:00 AM
The last time I checked for bitcointalk app on android phone, it showed an application on bitcoin with more than 6 months application update. Which I dont think it's a good quality of a safe app.

After reading through the white paper and seeing other human resource engaged. The possibility
of failure in the altcoin looks blurr. Its a good bet coin offering.

3646  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: September 24, 2016, 06:34:03 PM
It just wont happen at least not any time soon, there is no way right now for local business to accept bitcoin, it doesn't even make sense for them to do it, I don't really see any benefits for them, it's just extra trouble and work for no reason, they can easily lose money just with bitcoin volatility.
That's because they are not BTC enthusiasts,if they are they will be more than willing to accept BTC and even encourage people to pay with BTC

And what do they win by accepting bitcoins? Imagine a restaurant that accepts bitcoin, one day they earn 12 bitcoins total, bitcoin is at 600$, imagine they don't exchange them immediately and tomorrow bitcoin goes down to 590, they lose 120$ just like that for no reason, why would that benefit them?
I support your opinion on irregularity in currency value. It is not good for daily transaction.
3647  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What places do you do your shopping online? on: September 24, 2016, 02:29:08 PM
I buy mainly from Indian shopping websites like Flipkart, ebay, Amazon, Snapdeal and so on. Also, Sears is a good website where I've only once shopped from earlier.
Flipart looks like the online india shoppinjg website in your list. Does flipart use bitcoin in exchange
3648  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: September 24, 2016, 11:49:22 AM
I dont think it is right time for that in my country. Probably look for a better time to introduce it to the local business, when the trade is easier and safer.
3649  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: September 22, 2016, 05:17:47 PM
I just thought of those of who had this good plan on getting rich with bitcoin 8 months ago that are dead. Life with the pursuit is what makes it achievable.

3651  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: September 22, 2016, 04:36:52 PM
Hey guys,

I just spoke to a guy over chat who told me his plan was to get 100 BTC, wait for the price to reach $5k per BTC and retire after that. Since he lives in a third world county, that might be possible for him. I know this is a simplification of the problem but I d like to know what s your plan. How many BTC is your goal, at what price and what happens once you reach that goal. After all, we have all been involved in a dream, why not dream it a bit more.  Grin
What about the third world country? Why do you think it might be easier there with his dream?
3652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: September 21, 2016, 08:02:14 PM
Actually it is banned in China but they still have the largest amount of bitcoin. How is that? This one can explain it thoroughly to avoid misunderstanding. It can be banned but with just certain industries.

Quote
China

It is a common misconception that bitcoin and digital currency are totally banned and illegal in China, but China has become the world’s largest bitcoin trading market. The bitcoin ban is strictly on banks, as the central banking authority, The People’s Bank of China is owned 70% by the Chinese government. Banking institutions and employees are banned from engaging in bitcoin business through banking, as well as servicing or doing business with the bitcoin industry. Trading or mining in bitcoin is not illegal for common citizens.
That is restriction not ban, under a monitored process.
3653  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: September 21, 2016, 07:57:55 PM
A friend recommended bitcointalk to me when i complain on most newletter i subscride to. He told me, all I need is bitcointalk.org to know about bitcoin itself and the forum. I struggled getting to know that I have to contribute to the forum often and read alot. Sad of all were side comments, though have here a little while, am better than I started. Just like everyone who asked me what how They need to know about bitcoin I also recommend the site.
3654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 21, 2016, 07:39:33 PM
I believe that a few people hate bitcoin, mostly are people who don't understand it or people who somehow got scammed in the crypto space. I think it's more likely that these people hate more the banks than bitcoins, anyway.
I think someone who does not like bitcoin is a competitor of them do not like bitcoin bitcoin because it would interfere with their product and will probably beat them. maybe it will turn into hate when bitcoin really make them losers. yeah it happened

Can I say bitcoin has any competitor for now? Oh, you meant other altcoins. They are all necessary competitors but the central tendency is bitcoin.
3655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: September 21, 2016, 07:33:49 PM
What would happen if the bitcoin was banned i dont think bitcoin can be banned you know that bitcoin are used for allot of illegal things so maybe in the future we dont know?
Illegal use is a misinformation. Anonymity was the wrongful use that is rumored illegal. Illegallity should be the reason why it should be ban but like every other currency, bitcoin serve more purpose of exchange, investment, trade that are legal and acceptable on the internet, which means everywhere on the WWW.
3656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: September 20, 2016, 02:42:34 PM
The first time i read about bitcoin was on a german site called Dw.de. It was wrongfully mention as a currency only on darknet, terrible misinformation. In such environment bitcoin can be restricted not banned. Probably because of some wrongful use. The new ways of blockchain use and bitcoin central tendency has been a corner stone for a number of them. Now as an avenue for investment, it has come to stay not banned.
3657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Fund Management Platform ❘|❘ ICO OPEN on: September 19, 2016, 04:36:07 PM
Why do I get the impression that some people are just posting random shit just to make up the count for their signature bounty.

Fuck me.

 Roll Eyes

Its what we do so live with it lol
bounty hunters actually help making the ICO be known to those people just concentrating on some areas like those in the local section, those who are having troubles comprehending english and so users who somehow passby on their local section can grab attention to these users who happen to be an investor send money to the ICO. it happen believe me. so the dev should also thank them for being such a spammer.

Well said, there is always different ways to pay for service, you either pay in cash or in kind. The service we are offering can not be quantify in terms of money, just imagine ICONOMI the amount ICONOMI is going to pay for the social media advert alone.
3658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 19, 2016, 12:29:02 PM
People who were early adopters and who have gone through huge looses in the past will never love bitcoin for sure and that is the reason they keep on spreading negative news related to bitcoin.

I still love Bitcoin & I sold most of mine "way too early" when only part of the damage was repaired after the first huge Bear market.
Many early adopters are not capable of hating Bitcoin; If you had been here back then, you might easily understand why.

What will be your advice on how to do it the better way?  Anyone could have made that mistake but what have u really learnt over time on making decision to sell one's bitcoin
3659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 18, 2016, 06:36:37 PM
I personally haven't found this statement to be correct at all. I've discovered many misinformed and uneducated people in regards to the subject matter, but after explaining to them, undoubtedly almost all of them see the potential and merits, even if they will never get involved.
Just from my own angle also. Have seen people's reaction on twitter and facebook campaign to some altcoins on my page. Some religious folks think it's one of those internet fraud. Do I really have to to explain to them until am rich enough to say few words that will mean much. I don't blame them anyways, a lazy man cant understand and keep up the race with the increase knowledge on bitcoin. Just the knowledge of improved work of technology and how legal the tendency is could help those who hate bitcoin.
3660  Other / Meta / Re: how do I Improving the quality of post? on: September 18, 2016, 03:38:42 PM
Can someone help out on How do I improve the quality of my post? Not only about participating but being engaged. It is good to know that one can check the quality of his post not only how active he was. If u can tell me, how do improve it.

Let me preface this post by saying that this is a stupid thread. People with common sense are capable of determining the quality of their own posts as well as of other people's. I will still answer it to the best of my ability though, hoping that my answer inspires you to lock this thread before sig spammers flood it with their ironic low-quality posts.

First of all, you need to ask yourself "why am I here?" Why are you a member of this discussion board? Why are you posting on a particular thread? Why are you reading the posts made by other members? If you know why you're here, then you can easily figure out the inherent quality of your posts before you even make them.

For example, if a member is here solely to earn BTC from signature campaigns, then that member's posts will inherently be of poor quality. You would see such a member frantically making successive posts about trivial topics in order to reach his/her daily quota of posts for the signature campaign. You might even see that member making dubious claims or giving advice about topics that he has no inkling of knowledge of just to pad his/her post count on the relevant subforums. (Trust me -- I've seen a lot of idiots posting about things that they know absolutely nothing about.)

However, there are also members who come to this discussion board to learn, share their knowledge and participate in meaningful discussions with other people regarding important topics. Those members will naturally make posts that can be considered of fair-to-excellent quality. Their posts will most likely contain meaningful ideas and insightful opinions.

Another thing to consider when appraising the quality of a post is how well it conveys the idea or information that it is meant to convey. It is easy to tell someone that they are wrong about something, but that really does nothing unless you can empirically prove that they are indeed wrong. It is possible that multiple differing opinions may simultaneously be considered correct by their own merits, but simply yelling something without acknowledging the ideas of the other party or showing them due respect tends to lower the quality of a post. Be proper and precise.

Read before you post. That is one of the most heavily ignored concepts by the sig spammers. You can usually see them spouting the same nonsense that has been said over and over in a thread because they didn't care to read anything but the thread title. Some of them don't even know what the topic of the thread is actually about. If you are a respectable member of the forum, then those are the people that you would want to cull Darwin-style. Don't be like them. Read, read, then read again. If you don't want to read, then you shouldn't be posting here at all.

Most importantly, practice common sense. That is the most important thing. That doesn't even need to be explained. Your common sense can tell you if your post is crap or not.

Now lock this thread.
This might look like one of those stupid questions you have seen on this site. If u understand so much then u have answer a lot also. Remember without new members the site is heading to the rock. Am not so surprised that a lot of so called senior member throw such abusive words around new members. You were once new here remember. Not all member have the same or equal knowledge, and what makes u think I cant know more than you in a short while. Where i come from we dont consider anyone idiot, just maybe he doesn't know enough. But your foolish way of making comment is helpful.
