actually I am impressed that I can't post images anymore. so he may be real or he found out some image sites are down.

For now WEATTACK the ball is in your court I would like to see the main mmpool.org work and backup1.mmpool.org work for 1 week in a row.
36404  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [100 TH] mmpool.org - 1.5% fee DGM/PPS - tx fees/vardiff/merge mine/tor on: July 14, 2015, 02:49:37 AM
hey now  the ddos guy says we will not be attacked for 1 week.

say thank you.  I say thank you.

Now lets see if the regular pool works for a week in a row.

If it does at least we may be talking to the 'real deal'

So to the op mmpool   let us see if the normal pool runs as promised.

 So I will

A: log into mmpool.org  I did it is still dead

B: log into backup1.mmpool.org I did it is still dead

We also crippled BTCDig for quite a few days, multipool.us and give-me-coins.

There are a team of us, each specializing in a field. We were part of DD4BC, atleast the USA/AU subsidy.

We have access to many servers, and many hosts. How do you think we got CloudMinr's leak before it was published over http?

And you have found many more blocks than 1-2 a month, one records show you found as many as 4 in a month, so you are not small.

For us,s mall is less than 30 TH/s, you are 60-100 TH/s.

You are acting like 1 BTC is so much, will it be so much when you owe the host a new NIC port?

Your choice, not ours. And yes, we know some of the administrators here, or maybe we are one, you will not know.

Or maybe we work intern at DigitalOcean?

we have found 12 blocks since jan 1st.  this is july 13  so it is 6.4 months past this year.

so 12 / 6.4 = 1.875 blocks per month.   last I looked    1.875 is in between 1 to 2 blocks a month leave us alone.

Pay up within 6 hours. We have colleagues who work for many of the big name hosts, and datacenters. It would not be hard to message one and say that you refused to pay and have the entire server reinstalled after dumping the wallet.

You can't hide from us until you pay. It is not much.

You are going about this the wrong way.
Lets say you are real and can do all this.

Why not prove it just leave the pool alone for 1 week.

 Let it mine in peace.

This would accomplish a few things it shows you are the ddos guy.

It also allows the pool a chance to hit a block or two and decide to pay the bribe or  say no we will not pay.

If you continue your current ways. you prove nothing.  in fact the real ddos person may not be you.

The fact that your started your ddos at the 900th hour of this block means most of us don't have jack shit to pay you dude.

You should have attacked at 10 hours in.  not 900 hours in.

To prove more strength we have completely taken down the Bitcoin Talk backboard system for files. Such as images... We are NOT playing games anymore!

Why this pool when you can take down images? For all of bitcointalk.org

Until they pay the debt they owe, they are not getting online, atleast publicly.

They had their host null route their IP, but we still have the direct IP through DNS history records. Once it is paid, mmpool and BTC Talk will never be touched again by us.

And sooner or later they will give the URL to someone willing to sell it for BTC, and then we will have it for a 3rd time.

We are not asking for much, he can afford it...

Why not leave us be.   you certainly show you can play heavy duty attacks against a small pool.   even if he owes you 1 coin it is not much money.

attack something else.  A lot of us are being hurt by this.  What you do affects 100 plus miners that don't know you and did no harm to you.

You are also hurting others people  rent to mine  you hurt the ones leasing rigs.

The fact that you attack this pool and hinder the images on it merely shows you have access to part of bitcointalk's image listings.

which means you may be someone that works with the site.  or maybe you are the people that hacked us  about 5 weeks ago.

The fact is why not just pull every image off bitcointalk and tell the site pay up.  why bother us we are tiny.
36409  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Most efficient SP20 settings? on: July 14, 2015, 01:59:41 AM
The only important variable for underclocking is the wattage. The per ASIC voltages are nothing but starting points when the ASICs fire up. If you want to limit voltage, you'd have to use "Voltage Limit (0.580-0.790)", but there's absolutely no point in that. Just use the watt settings.

I always like to do both.

But your way has benefits.
36410  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience BM1384 Project Development Discussion on: July 14, 2015, 01:56:50 AM

Dunno. It's already gonna have some interesting requirements for two or three different shapes of topside heatsinks and screw holes. Not likely I can make something that fits all those requirements and a standard CPU cooler.

once you build a 4 chip board I may be able to get a simple 120mm by 120mm heatsink to fit it.

maybe I will buy this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Class-A-Aluminum-Power-amplifier-Enclosure-chassis-with-heatsink-245-180-259-/301673111483?

I can always toss an amp into it instead.

mmpool where did you get this quote ?

I think they are sending him pm's or emails.  most likely pm's not sure.

mmpool will give you an address   to mine one if you pm him. the pool is doing around 60th

here are some of  the stats from tor .  I cut off the pool address   but this is  the current set of numbers  I did the first 20 miners

look worse comes to worse.  you can keep rotating the backup pools.

I am mining on it now as a few others we can keep it going via  secret pool addresses if we have to.

we can rotate the miners give 5 miner the backup let them mine for 1 day.  next day 5 new miners  with a new backup
see if they really can find the backup addresses.

we find 2 blocks a month in a good month and people look to squeeze us.
36414  Other / Archival / Re: July 11th to July 25th diff thread just setting up closed for now. on: July 13, 2015, 10:17:04 PM
if you are mining a jump to 400 then 500 will start  big growth in diff.
I actually prefer it to do a big drop 210 or 220 then a slow climb back up.
Anything to slow diff growth and keep it under 2%.

I rather the jump up and over 300 then 400 happens in Oct or Nov.

I fear staying above 300 before the s-7 drops will result in big diff jump.
I know prices above 400 right at the s-7 release will be a big growth jump and higher s-7 prices.

Such a nice pool, what a bad people ddos-ing it  Shocked

yeah pretty mean spirited   since this pool does 1 or 2 blocks a month.

not like attacking a big pool. that does 300 or more blocks a month.
36416  Other / Archival / Re: July 11th to July 25th diff thread just setting up closed for now. on: July 13, 2015, 07:14:38 PM
Feel sorry if you ordered an s-5 at the new higher price of 439 plus shipping.  Good luck with that.
Gotta love Bitmain...

Finance guys: hey, BTC is trending up?  Woohoo!  Raise the price of the miners!!!
Hardware guys: sweet!  We can sell off those old S5s from our data center for even more $$!!!  Makes more room for these shiny new S7s!
Sales guys: well... they're not saying anything at all... they're still too drunk to form complete thoughts.

Well in their favor at least they sell gear to us.
Many other companies just shut us out.
They are in a funny spot as they are just about the only company that sells gear to the home miner.

As of right now they want 399 plus 43 to ship to the usa total price = 442

Can it make money if you have a psu and cheap power it can make money.

Is it a fair price?  Some say no way too high.  It is way too high if your power is at 10cents and up.

So mining is now an 8 cent a kwatt game.
36417  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: If mining BTC isn't profitable like people say -- how are OTHER people doing it? on: July 13, 2015, 06:08:50 PM
power cost = king

3 cent power = s-3's make money

s-3's are cheap.

here are my 4 s-3's  using 3 cent power

so I get about 1750gh-1800gh  with 1400 watts but at 3 cents been doing it for 1 year.

so scale it for 100 s-3's at 3 cents or 1000 s-3's at 3 cents

My power max is about 1500 or 1600 watts so I am done adding gear here.

How are you getting this "3 cent power"? lol  Grin

it is at my friend's office  he rents ¼ of a floor and pays 1/5  the power bill.  For 10 years he used very little power and lost out on the power splitting deal. For the last 12 months he has made back some of those losses on the power bill.   The bill was 500 or so with him paying 100  now the bill is  600 or so with him paying 120

the extra 100 is the miners   so we pay 20 and get an 80 dollar subsidy.

 two other benefits :
he does not control the heat
the office is cold in the winter  the miners warm it

he no longer uses  this heater in the winter.

36418  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Should I rent a Mining Rig? on: July 13, 2015, 05:53:31 PM
I stopped mining last year but now I miss mining Sad

I still have some GPUs (Ati 5850, Ati 6950, Ati 7950) but that's not enough...

Meanwhile, I have done some research and found that I can rent some rig to add up to my mining operation. Still I'm not pretty sure if that would be worth it!

Would you consider renting mining Rigs? If so, what would be your strategy?

I rent from nice hash and west hash.  I spot mine here and there.  right now I am mining at solo.ckpool.org with a rental from west hash
