I usually look at the hype and marketing campaign to see if there will be interest but I mostly focus on how good the project appears to be.
That is part of the factor, very important one. How they able to generate interest among their social/chat communities. You basically can tell if the ICO would work. Other than that team and advisors are very important as well, Is all about the people behind it. |

I also like kucoin exchange a lot. they provide much better user experience compared to some that i used especially Hitbtc (crappy service and slow). I ended up buying and owning more KCS now. Beside, i think a lot of these exchanges coin would d very well in 2018. And don't remember check out Konomo just released, crosschain atomic swap. Awaiting Decred team for their next major move.

I would like to know how you going to convince anyone to invest in your ICO without revealing any dev/management teams or advisors?
TBH, we need a more comprehensive and detailed business concept rather than just focused on token distribution IMHO.

Personally, I would go for NEBL and XRB for the long haul. The Chinese are eager to get into the front seat now, so any crypto related to Chinese is going to be pumped in the short to medium term. So, Red Pulse could be the coins that made the most gains for a while.

Big corrections , high volatility is part of cryptocurrency. Same as other assets speculative trading, downtrend is just normal cycle. If you can't handle possible 40% crash in a day. I think cryto is not for you. However, practise strict risk management is a must. Otherwise, this is another gambling. Applied certain discipline will helps you on the long haul in the crypto sphere. |

For ex eth might be fast in theory, but Polo will rarely load it faster than couple of hours
Yes, most exchanges using lowest fee possible mechanism. So don't expect many will broadcast them in lightning speed. Outdide of exchange, I using LTC quite a bit compared to BTC or ETH for the past weeks. ETh transaction seems back to more stable yesterday. Ripple in theory not use for our day to day usage, it is created for the banking transaction in a nutshell. But that could alter if more people prefer to use it outside the traditional financial institution. |

Definitely one of the ICO that caught my eye. I think this year utility tokens such as e-chat will be in the spotlight. Many new investors can relate to the use cases and see the potential.
Multi-crypto wallets and the possiblle mobile mining would be wonderful and stands out. Eventhough i am skeptical on the idea of intergrating Visa and Mastercard as the payment method given their recent hostile reactions towards cryptocurrency. But crypto is supposedly to be stay outside of the conventional financial system anywhere.
Flawless campaign so far with solid dev team and reputable advisors. I had no problem pooling with my group to get in early to take advantage of the 30% early bird bonus. i don't usually comment on ICO announcement thread with positive comment. I saw so many related ICO failed for the past months. But, e-Chat is surely present a grreat propect.

I am sure why people still investing in Bitconnect or any other lending crypto. Most are offering less return IMO compared to other crypto now. Bitconnect is a sinking ship. No matter how you look at in. I rather invest in real ICO or any new utility coins at the moment. Note: Do pay attention, many solid ICO from China are emerging in the tokensale now. eg, https://tokensale.elastos.org/, https://investors.echat.io/Many more are coming. Invest in ICO will more 1,000X more profitable than "lazy" passive style investment in lending, furthermore, these programs are much more risky than solid reputable ICO. Do your research.  |

Charlie was at MIT today. I wonder how many founders of Cryptocurrency could go to a university and talk about their project and not about their price in this speculative market.
Could the founder of TRON, Verge and others shit projects talk about their code? ADA could hit 3 dollars in less than a month. But what is important to know is that they will exist until December. We can not say the same about other projects.
Spot on. Cardano seem more serious compared some others that you pointed at. Another point is they consisted so many separate dev and regional entities to oversee the complete development and integration ecosystem of their blockchain. Their roadmap is very precise on the direction. But anything can happen if they missed out some big milestones in 2018. Is there any connection of IOTA to Bitfinex? Because the currency represented only on Bitfinex (among big exchanges)
It's also on Binance, which is a large exchange. As for a conection, I don't think any more of a conection other than Bitfinix is a place to trade cryptos and IOTA is a crypto. I've a feeling that connections are playing limited impact on people's psychology these days, except for the very very young newcomers who'll not recognize that all exchanges eventually end up like each other (look at Binance for example) and that once they get big, you just need to pay them a fee to get listed. Of course the benefit of being able to trade a coin quickly on a variety of platforms will do good for the price, but this has little impact on the long term. Can you imagine even XRB is now competing with Iota? What's with people thinking XRB and IOTA are competitors? M2M (IOTA's goal) and P2P (RaiBlock's goal) are not the same thing. If anything XRB is competing with Ripple and the thousands of other currencies flooding the P2P market. The similarity comes from both being DAG coins That's a shallow similarity as their endusers are different, which is why I wrote, "What's with people thinking XRB and IOTA are competitors? M2M (IOTA's goal) and P2P (RaiBlock's goal) are not the same thing." If you are saying that people are shallow and don't know what they are talking about and their ignorance is the culprit of why they keep making the comparison--you wouldn't get any disagreement for me. I was asking for the human root, not the continued basis on which the presumption is built from. I am kind agreed, may people just making subjective judgements based on what crypto they hodl. Many of these blockchain projects in fact can survive and co-exist and working together. Belittled against other project is counter productive. IOTA has uniques proposition that can carried on its own in the crypto sphere. For the mos blockchain, i believe RaiBlock, IOTA, EOS, Cradano have the best 'unique' blockchain that would is trully revolutionary. |
