It's as though the referees aren't using their own initiatives whatsoever, they just follow the textbook guidelines of FIFA relating to fouls and make really absurd decisions that tends to ruin games even from the very get go, as a referee your call is the final say whether or not you're being signaled to make a review by the VAR. Today's red card for Comoros and that of Nigeria's yesterday were extremely absurd to say the least neither of them are worthy of an outright red card (at most a yellow), these aren't intended tackles, with both players in pursuit of the ball and without raising the legs above normal, but you really can't determine how fast an opponent would stretch his leg. It really just shows the lack of understanding of the game by them because these decision are usually the determining factors of the outcome of the game more often than not.

I'd say Comoros really should be proud of themselves and go home with their heads held high, it was a great performance from them, despite their unfortunate circumstances.

The red card early into the game dashed all hopes of a possible upset I'd say but for Comoros to have stayed in the game for that long and remain disciplined while also make some threats on goal, you've really got to commend them. They could have as well equalized but thanks to Onana's brilliance in goal.

It's not because they're the favourite it's because the Comoros team is said to be depleted and they'd even be having an outfield player in goal for the game. I was able to get even with my bet on the Raptors. Raptors were utterly awful in the 1st and 2nd Quarter, but had a really decent recent in the 3rd and 4th,  I'm sure there was much time still available for the could have forced OT or better still complete the comeback.

The Toronto Raptors are currently being torn apart by Trail Blazers with a 30 points lead at halftime, I actually have the Blazers on +7.5 and that's because I felt the Raptors could have a hard time, which I guessed right. It will take more than a miracle for the Raptors to get a W here, as the Blazers just seemed to be making all the right calls and plays.

It's halftime and it's still goalless between Nigeria and Tunisia, nothing spectacular about the game yet, but Nigeria are clearly the better side so far with several attempts on goal being made, Tunisia have been well organized defensively as well. Tunisia will indeed be missing a couple of players due Covid-19 but I'm not sure about the specific number of players expected to be missing, Wahbi Khazri their captain is amongst the players expected to miss the game. Regardless of the absentees, I believe Nigeria will have to continue their terrific performance to see them through.

I think I've said a few times too, when I put in score randomly without even checking out recent forms or position on the table it tends to work, but when you get really close in the ranking and you don't want to mess shit then it all starts to go sideways again.

Warriors were terrible last night again, they were barely able to win with Curry's buzzer-beating shot, after some good run in the final minutes of the game, a game where they double digits favorite.
Warriors next game is against the Utah Jazz, I'm curious to see what the line/odds would open at.

I think I like the Warriors here, even though I'm not the biggest fan of wide spreads I think the Warriors got this.

I'll be taking the Lakers -5.5 against Orlando Magic, I know Lakers are pretty awful right now, but it's going to be a real low if they're unable to get a win against a team like Magic.

I had Watford to win 2-1, and they went from being the better side in the first half to a complete shitty team in second half. I was pretty much optimistic with the way the first half played out.

Not the greatest way to kickstart the week, but it's much comforting to know that only a few people from the pool actually had Norwich to win.

Nothing much to say about Watford vs Norwich so far, It's goalless at halftime, with Watford better a bit with the ball and attempts but either goalkeepers have barely had to do anything spectacular. Sissoko probably had the best chance of the half after being squared by Joshua King, but couldn't finish.

Algeria and Ghana would have gone head to head if there was a trophy for flops of the tournament.

I really won't consider Senegal as clear favorite against Cape Verde, given what they played in the first round, Senegal scored just one in a group where you have expected them to do away a possible 9 points, while Cape Verde emerged from a tough group.

This is the craziest AFCON I've ever witnessed, Tunisia by the way as well had to settle for a best third placed qualification and will now face Nigeria, regardless of Tunisia mode of qualification, I think it still going to be a tough one for the Super Eagles.
