3661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 16, 2020, 03:59:30 PM
I doubt the hype is because dude is just a number one overall, there has been plenty of number one overalls in the past 10 years and only few of them got the attention Zion got. Dude has been known as a "youtube phenom" ever since he was in high school, when he got to Duke everyone was wondering if he was so good on videos because he played weak rivals or would he be good even in Duke and dude actually played very well in Duke as well, not saying that matters the most but he passed the test in front of him.

Of course now he has to play in NBA and show how good he is but it looks like dude can actually jump very well and he is thick so he can actually be an insane rebounder, nobody thinks he can be a superstar like Lebron, Harden, Giannis or whoever at that level but dude can %100 guaranteed to be a good player, possibly all-star for 10+ years, thats not something you can get very easily so he is very valuable.
3662  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain Usage In Mainstream Examples on: January 16, 2020, 03:10:48 PM
All of XRP's deals with banks are basically "mainstream example" if you consider using blockchain for stuff that wasn't used before. They have a lot of connections in my country with banks that actually does transfers between them and other nations banks that use XRP. That way instead of using a third party program (which they technically still do use XRP which is third party to them) Banks can send and receive money from all around the world easily in the millions of dollars while spending basically close to nothing and still end up with the fastest possible option.

However, XRP would have to agree to get the money from banks and give them XRP and then bank will send that XRP to other banks and other bank will get the money from XRP, so there is a transaction between XRP and two banks but its still cheaper and faster.
3663  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currencies on: January 16, 2020, 09:14:17 AM
I guess having bigger value is a different thing from being stronger. Having the most value doesn’t mean that a currency would be the strongest in the world.

Yes, Euro has more value than the US dollar but that doesn’t make it stronger. If it’s by having more value, then there are lots of other currencies that has more value than the Euro. The most valued currency in the world is the Kuwait Dinar, and there is also the British pounds Sterling that has more value than the USD, but these currencies are not the strongest.
3664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Forks were profitable today - what happened? on: January 16, 2020, 04:43:57 AM
Hi, I see that Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV grew today a lot. Bitcoin SV gained 35% profit today and Bitcoin Cash 15%, what happened?
I didn´t find any information connected to the today´s growth, maybe insider trading?
Huge demand is been created for such forked coin and it is what is deriving the price onto the top. The prices are quickly moving up and perhaps it might be the outcome of higher promotion rate of such coins. I do not like such forked coins so I sell those as soon as I get those and are listed on any exchanges because I do not feel it beneficial for holding onto long time.

It indeed is giving profits to a lot of holders but the profit might not be constant. They might lose their earned profit as well as their capital by investing in such coins so it is never an better option for me at least. Bitcoin cash might be somewhat good that Bitcoin SV but I would never prefer anyone to invest in these coins if they are looking for long term profits.
3665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project or Useless projects! on: January 16, 2020, 03:04:20 AM
I need some details about this project "Hypnoxys". This token already listed in coinmarketcap and number is almost 16**. But I'm still curious to know is this project still legit to everyone. Here is some details about this project https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5110522.0
Are you asking about the details so that you can join their bounty if you find it profitable by asking it here? This is not a way to join any bounty. You should make your own research about the project before trusting it entirely. What I can understand from "Hypnoxys" is that it is some kind of project decentralizing the chats, but is it really needed? Would it really benefit the users of their platform?

You should prepare a list of few such questions and try to get answers for them so that you can judge the project for your own's sake. Would this project actually have high demand in the coming markets? It might, as social media is getting a lot higher but yet there is huge competition in the markets before this project could even stand up.
3666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying bitcoin and several altcoins on: January 15, 2020, 03:55:36 PM
If you were to buy bitcoins at the beginning of this topic, then you've probably made a lot of profit with it. The current bitcoin price has reached $ 8700 and continues to go up, so excited to see the price of bitcoin go up in January 2020 because we're just getting started, but the market has been very active. You should hold them until halving occurs and may decide to sell them, definitely the price will trade above $ 10,000

Indeed! If he did able to bought on the time he made this post then do already make some profits even purchasing on top alts do already have significant increase which is already considerable for a short period of time. I dont know whats the purpose for him to buy p2p yet he can purchase directly on exchangers. This thread should be locked and theres no need for further discussions to this one.
The time this thread was launched, the price for bitcoins as well as altcoins was comparatively low and from that time until now, if anyone made any trade than he/she already had profits. This actually was a mid-range for all the traders and i think most of such traders already might have made profits.

Moreover, I hope that OP was successful in buying bitcoins the time he started this thread. Buying bitcoins have never been that challenging now and anyone can easily purchase bitcoins without actually doing any KYC so that it might not even reveal their identity. There have been a number of platforms launched to purchase bitcoins anonymously so i am sure OP already had bought his/her bitcoins on time.
3667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I created a Trading bot and it's doing 8% a month on: January 15, 2020, 03:25:56 PM
Well, it was never a better option for me to entirely depend on the trading bot to make fixed profits each month. I do use few trading bots but only at the time when I personally can't speculate the markets if i get busy somewhere else but at the other times, I myself speculate the markets and place orders manually.

Because usually using a bot might be easy as it automatically sets the buy/sell orders but for a bot it really is quite difficult and I might perhaps also say impossible to understand the trend. Bots might make mistakes by false up risen trends like the bull trap or something like this and we could make loss if we entirely depend on any bot at this situations.
3668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This 7 News of Last Week will help you to understand the Market Sentiment on: January 15, 2020, 02:49:07 PM
I am not really into news but as what I have read from your post most of the news are very important and positive towards crypto currencies acceptance.

I saw that you only cares about positive news, I have no problem with it but it will be best also if you can share some of the news that are against crypto currencies so we can at least compare whether the anti crypto currencies are growing or not. As I heard that there are other countries that starts banning crypto currencies as of the moment and I would love to check whether what countries are these.
As of my knowledge I guess Quatar is on the edge to ban cryptocurrencies. I did not yet go through any of the official news but I think there might be a legal circular soon. Also it would be good for you if you could spend some time in checking the news yourself because it would always boost your knowledge and make you more closer to the current market affairs going in between the centralized as well as decentralized monetary systems.

I do agree with you that there might be few negative news about the crypto markets and OP perhaps did not tend to mention them here but I know that no matter how bad the market news are, cryptos will always recover from those.
3669  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: January 15, 2020, 11:41:06 AM
I did the same method for this week as well, lets see if it will have anything better this week versus last week (only 2, shame) but this week has its challenges as well.

From what I can remember Kane is injured until end of season so he is not coming back if I am not wrong, they are playing our beloved Watford but I say Alli scoring one goal, that is why I put him there, Maupay for the brighton game but I really don't know anyone in the both teams so thats a risky one, Lewin for everton and he failed last week so I put him there again but you can pick Richarlison as well, Aubameyang for arsenal as always, not like he scores every single game but he has the highest chance really.

I don't know if Pukki is injured, he didn't played in united game, if he is injured then Todd if not then Pukki, Abraham for Chelsea as always and said Salah for Liverpool. Lets see what will happen with about the same logic this week.
3670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins profit ... Which altcoin is best for profits? on: January 15, 2020, 08:24:05 AM
As which coin i need to invest in it.
ETH and BNB are altcoins which in my opinion have very good potential lately, especially altcoin BNB really shows a significant increase, many investors are investing BNB and many traders are trading these coins.
BNB is a utility token and you can always invest in utility tokens which have a strong product behind them. BNB is a currency created by Binance and we all know how large Binance has been converted into. Also, BNB is actively used on the Binancedex which is making it more wider and a lot of peoples are buying BNB to save their trading fees on the Binance platform.

Moreover, Binance does offer a number of benefits for BNB holders like staking, lending, etc which creates a more wider demand for that coin and it grows more than it currently is. I can say in the bull runs, we would see a higher price for the BNB markets as the price would sky rocket in those positions.
3671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Top Performing Altcoin In 2020 on: January 14, 2020, 11:54:10 AM
Will 2020 be the year Ethereum asserts it's dominance in the Altcoin space or are one of the contenders poised to take the Altcoin crown?
mid of 2019 ethereum shows a good performance and i thought it will succeed until the year end but unfortunately it didn't ..  But who knows on this year because you know eth is getting aggressive in my opinion.  Wherien probably by mid of 2020 it will make a new record.  .

People are expecting something positive will happen with the ETH price, this year we might see a huge development release from the Ethereum and this will definitely help the ETH coin to increase its price very quickly. By the Mid of this year, we might really see the price of ETH will surely increase its price.
What kind of huge development can we expect from the etherum network? As already we have been enjoying immense benefits from the etherum network which does include in creating smart contracts and deploying our own token on the ERC20 network.

This is one of the most benefit for me which is offered by the Etherum network and it is the reason perhaps why Etherum is gaining such huge importance and also the price might hike up to a greater extend in the coming future as the use case of etherum would never be on an distinct end. The use of ERC20 token is always on an ascending graph which continues the use of the ETh which would derive the price onto peak someday.
3672  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold and blockchain Technology on: January 14, 2020, 11:16:48 AM
Gold remains relevant and valuable in every decade.  There are precious minerals that are more expensive than Gold, but gold price remain non depreciating on second hand stock.
Now talking about it usage in electrical conductivity, some would argue that there are many wireless devices,  therefore the value of gold will reduce, but this is not through because gold is a store of value.
Gold is mostly used in jewelry and for building precious ornaments like rings, necklaces, etc so it is not really used for any kind of wiring. Yes, even in this year gold is been used in some of the technical gadgets but the prices of those gadgets too is much higher and it does not benefit the firm manufacturing such devices and hence they have shifted onto other metals possessing the properties of gold but at a cheaper rate.

Gold is also malleable which allows us to mold it without actually destroying its components also we all know the properties of gold which makes it one of the most precious metal on the earth. The precious nature of gold does not make it highly usable in the wiring or the electrical devices.
3673  Economy / Economics / Re: Investments with Compound interest. on: January 14, 2020, 10:39:20 AM
I am recently watching videos about investing and financial freedom. I usually hear people like Tony Robbins say that compound interest is such a great thing. It is a wise way to invest your money for a long period of time. I have heard it from several others as well. But I have no idea which investments give us compound interest. I was hoping if you guys know about it and I would be very happy to be educated about it. I am in my early 20s and want to make right decisions for secure and prosperous present and future. I would really appreciate your words and advises. Thanks
Compound interest is actually a lot beneficial and profitable if you know how to handle it.

Earning a compound interest is not usually an easy task and you really need to be much professional as well as dedicated to the field you are earning the compound interest into. Compound interest can be defined shortly as "Interest on Interest" which seems a lot difficult to inculcate.

The most easiest example of compound interest is mentioned below:
If you had $0.01 at the starting of the month and if it would doubt everyday for a month(which actually is called compound interest) than you would have $5,368,709.12 at the end of the month. This is actually the power of compound interest.

--snip

I have picked Rashford as usual and I’m expecting him to score tonight, and I have selected Ali to score in the Tottenham vs Liverpool match though it was a very tough decision but in the end I went with my gut feeling. @RealMalatesta even I have selected Aubameyang ans Abraham as these two are in fine form and they should score for their respective teams.
I failed as well, last week I picked Mousset to score and he didn't, the game ended 1-0 anyway and Oli had the only score, got the Aubameyang right on the arsenal game, that was nice, Lewin didn't scored for Everton, Richarlison would have been my second pick but unfortunately picked the wrong one, got Abraham for Chelsea right as well, Jimenez didn't managed to score for wolves, said Salah for Liverpool and hell my second pick would have been mane, I only considered Firminho if those two didn't played, yet failed big time there, lastly said Sarr for Watford as well.

Looking at that I managed 2/7 with only Auby and Abraham correct, all others were wrong. I don't know if this is a good method to keep playing but I think I will continue couple more weeks.
3675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be decentralized if the Internet is centralized on: January 14, 2020, 03:09:22 AM
Reading this, I somewhat have to believe you. But being centralized means being flicked by any of the association or the government which even gives full access to the usability of the Internet but we could see a lot of illegal things already going onto the internet today.

If the Internet was centralized than why would the governments not actually stop the use of such illegal concepts onto their so-maned Internet? We could see the use of Deep web, Tor, etc which is most harmful for the community but yet those are into existence which itself explains us that no one actually has the 100% control over the internet which actually does not make it centralized.
3676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Qatar Bans CryptoCurrency on: January 13, 2020, 02:01:09 PM
The Regulatory Authority shall impose penalties in accordance with its rights and obligations [...] in case of any violation of undertaking [...] activities that are not permitted in the QFC.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/qatar-financial-centre-puts-blanket-ban-on-cryptocurrency-businesses
It means one more country banned cryptocurrency. I do not know to which extend it is true but this might bring a negative impact on the price of the cryptocurrencies. Already we are experiencing some highly volatile price due to the ongoing war like situation between the Iran and the US and this another news like this might bring the price for the coins on another level.

I do not see any bigger fluctuations until now but if the news gets officially verified from the respective government of Qatar than we might see some fluctuations in the price of bitcoins or each other coin which might go down as compared to now. Already we are having some larger issues from the centralized authorities and news like this is like spirit in the fire.
3677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming from altcoin to bitcoin on: January 13, 2020, 03:45:57 AM
I don't know if its the right call or not but i just feel like its better to sell my bags of altcoins for bitcoin, most of the altcoins i owned are not top altcoins, mostly new coins from bounties and I've seen coins worth of 2k turn 20$ while holding them, finally i decide to take out the losses and invest in bitcoin, if you are holding any altcoins that aren't good enough do not hesitate to sell for bitcoin to at least make some profits
The coins you got from bounties would depend on the current market demand. Their price might quickly drop if the number of bounty hunters are excess in the campaign and also if the project has allocated a huge number of tokens to the campaign than the possibilities of the coin getting dumped as soon as listed on exchanges is much higher because most of the bounty hunters sell their earned coins on the exchange as soon as the project hits the exchange.

So in this scenario, it would be good for you to even sell your coins at the current market demand and convert those to bitcoins or any other major altcoin which can yield you higher profits. I personally, trust least of the bounty coins.
3678  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What’s Stopping Crypto Markets from Entering the Mainstream on: January 13, 2020, 02:56:28 AM
In my opinion, this is also the main reason that Bitcoin is still not in the mainstream. However, I think that the reasons are not always that governments do it in bad faith. Through irresponsibility and panic buy, and later bear market many people lost a lot of money. Due to the lack of regulation of the ICO market, many people have been scammed. I think governments will start supporting cryptocurrency when appropriate regulations are in place to protect investors. However, it will definitely take a long time.
What you are saying is possible but it might really take a long time. Peoples who used to invest in the ICO projects before the year 2017 were the one's who had profits and considering those peoples a lot of other investors turned towards investing into newly launched ICO projects but a lot of such projects were been classified under scam and each investor investing in those projects were left with no profits but extreme loss. This also made peoples lose their faith in the crypto markets which is making it more difficult for the crypto markets to enter the mainstream.

Moreover, the use of cryptocurrencies which is actively been traded in the illegal markets is making them more away from entering the mainstream.
3679  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I need 5 sources of revenue to generate $200 each per month - Ideas? on: January 13, 2020, 02:26:22 AM
I think to get 5 sources of revenue and income about $ 200 per month you have to spend a lot of time. You want to work a little time but high input can choose the following:
1. Gold investment
2. Buying securities.
3. Buy bitcoin
4. Buy a lucky lottery ticket.
5. Investment in real estate.

Bruh, you're going to need to be a little more specific when you write ridiculous lists like this.

None of those are a sure-fire way to generate $200/month, while investing enough in any of these to generate $200+/month in passive income would require an investment of $10,000+.

He also said he doesn't want to spend much time, buying and selling gold/bitcoin with a low amount of time and minimal investment will not generate $200+/month.

Personally, if I was OP, I would begin developing an affiliate network, and market hot new products on it. This can be done with minimal investment and time.
Affiliate marketing requires immense knowledge.
It sounds easy to understand but once we really start on it, we find a lot of complications which needs professional replies to solve those.

I agree that there is nothing in this world which human being can't study but studying that requires a lot of time and also affiliate marketing lectures/courses are a lot costlier so if you really want to start developing your career in affiliate marketing then you need to invest a lot of time and money to learn so.

Once you lean each such major details about affiliate marketing than you can surely start earning $200+ per month for spending few hours on yourself owned business. But, it would need time. OP can't just start affiliate marketing and start earning $200 per month.
3680  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin have a price increase before the halving like we saw in 2016? on: January 13, 2020, 01:29:27 AM
Expecting something similar to this can just be a major concept of big whales. We saw bitcoins reaching $8000 and that is what makes us now think that it might even cross.the next target which might be some what between $8500 to $9000.

Big whales have accumulated at $7000 to $7500 so now, they might be waiting for the price to reach the ATH peak in 1 hour graph. Price might dump once again before actually starting the pump so expecting $7000 to $7500 might somewhat be a price to fill our bags again and then wait for the price to pump high.
