3661  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: August 03, 2015, 05:00:52 PM
my friend told me that in bit x signature campaign theres no limit in posting and he earned almost 1 btc in just one week, just keeping on posting and replying in different threads, but if you think he is already spamming, just look at his last post.

Damn earnings! My highest known is 0.5btc a week. Would you mind share his account name here? PM me or you can post it here. I want to check his stats if its alright to you. I just wondered how he managed his time everyday while doing campaign post. Even at super high forum rank you need to focus on posting everyday just to reached that almost a btc a week earnings.

That's pretty insane. What amount of posts does he make in a week to cash out 0.5 btc? That feels like too much work, underpaid work probably. Thats like lower hour/$ rate than minimum wage jobs. If they paid higher it would be worth it at least as Sr, Hero and Legend, but these guys pay peanuts, you would need an insane amount of posting.
3662  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do you know if you've been tagged by a referral code? on: August 03, 2015, 04:57:22 PM
I think some sites don't tell you this because of privacy reasons, also to avoid certain exploits which can lead to attacks, so maybe in some cases it's better not to know.
3663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All the bubbles were fake? on: August 03, 2015, 04:42:26 PM
i believe that every bubble that return the the main it's a fake bubble, heavy manipulated to suck noobs and nothing else, a real bubble should not explode at 100%, only a small downside should have happened at worst

but the final price should be much higher from what it has started, so the 1200 was definitely among those fake bubble

I think real mad bubbles can happen. When something is very promising and people fail to properly put a price tag on it, the speculation naturally ensues which can and will lead to insane prices without necessary requiring manipulation.
3664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Participants wanted for the study on Bitcoin user experience and perceptions on: August 03, 2015, 04:39:35 PM
I like how researchers are only registering on Bitcointalk while conducting bitcoin research. They post 1 post with their survey and they are gone...
I never seen anyone with higher status account asking for help in research. What do you think does that mean guys? I feel little exploited this way.
As long as the survey is legit and doesn't contain any malicious reason behind it be it an evil agenda or bad code in the html.. then whats the problem? they don't need to be hero members to conduct some survey.
3665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: August 03, 2015, 04:16:51 PM
Trading between btc/usd market isn't a big problem.
Everyone can do so.
It's just simple buy low and sell high.

This is meaningless, stupid and misleading.
What is meaningless, stupid and misleading in it?
This is the easiest and safest market I've ever found.

So are you suggesting that we should trade between altcoins? For me altcoin trading is very risky, cuz I've tried that and lost my money in it.
But for me btc/usd is a good market.
How you lose your money from trading altcoins? it is the effective way to earn a profit from trading. Maybe you have only a few strategies on doing trading with altcoins or you sell your coins in not right time.

Obviously by picking the wrong alt to gamble with. I lost 0.3 with Mazacoin back then when I thought it was about to pump but I bought right at the bottom. What an idiot. Well this can happen to anyone. So unless you buy really cheap chances are you'll end up lossing money, unless the coin does a mega pump like VNL.
3666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mike Tyson Bitcoin ATM Hit With Scam Accusations on: July 27, 2015, 05:39:10 PM
What are the companies linked to the scams?
Poor good ol Mike seems like it's still being used by bad people to get money off his fame. He has been doing great in paying all of his debts, so I hope he doesn't get screwed up again. He got already screwed up by mad goldiggers and Don King and his crew.
3667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mainstream Adoption on: July 27, 2015, 05:37:15 PM
What average joe needs is an online wallet service that works like a bank
Banks exist because people prefer trusting them to store their savings then trusting themselves to do it.

It already exists:

https://xapo.com/vault/

You can have your Bitcoins on there, if you trust that they will not screw up. Caesars Wenceslao seems like a very trustable person and a long termer for BTC. I would trust it if I was clueless in how to run my own wallet.
3668  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Banks love the Blockchain but not Bitcoin? on: July 27, 2015, 05:22:08 PM
I think of course they know how Bitcoin works. But they would not allowed it because they realized that bitcoin would changes their curency.
Banks and especially Governments would as continue to brainwash and spread negative rumore about bitcoin to people and convince them that their curency is the best than bitcoin and stay away from bitcoin. At least this is their f###ing plan

I think they are legitimately dumb and don't understand how a blockchain works and the necessity for the native incentive of a cryptocurrency issued to the miners and so on. They think centralized blockchains are a thing when it would be the same old boring disaster again: Hack it once, and get all of it vs having to hack every single node (decentralization).
3669  Economy / Economics / Re: Chicago launches 9% tax on internet streaming, Xbox, Netflix, cloud services on: July 27, 2015, 05:19:40 PM
Soon us poor people with boring lives repetitive lives will have the few entertainment we have from the daily grind taken away from us and converted into yet another luxury. Amazing.
3670  Economy / Economics / Re: Why on this earth most of the post only related to Greece Crisis ? on: July 27, 2015, 05:06:41 PM
We'll see how talented greeks are and how good they can handle their own crisis after august 20th when the serious deal shall be meet. If there is no debt then they better showcase some real talent there because otherwise they are screwed.
3671  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Sidechains: Incentives and Financial Models on: July 27, 2015, 04:36:50 PM
With sidechains banks and governments could create their own chains and control everything, from the reward for the miners, to the period of halvings, to the total supply... all of this without disrupting Bitcoin and at the same time benefiting Bitcoin because it runs on top of it.
3672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: The Money Out Effect {Video} on: July 27, 2015, 04:35:23 PM
I watched 60 minutes of documentary yesterday "Bitcoin: The end of money as we know it". I think I will have a break today from Bitcoin videos but will check out tomorrow.
3673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: companies and their privacy on: July 27, 2015, 04:33:20 PM
remember that bitcoin is already semi anon, so there is no reason to protect anything, who want to know more about a certain address need to investigate deeply

and even in that case bank could use their own mixer to mix the coin or sidechain if you prefer
When technology gets more and more developed they will be able to trace back coins way easier. There are lots of bright minds now working with the goverment to create technologies to trace addresses back to real people... so we need more anonymity.
3674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: here is my bitcoin-story and FREE STICKERS. on: July 27, 2015, 04:30:03 PM
Stickers look really nice, but I don't think people is going to know what it is about if it doesn't literally say "Bitcoin" on it.
3675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: July 27, 2015, 04:24:59 PM
I recommend Bitcoin to my girlfriend when I was posting on bitcointalk.org.  And she laughed a lot after hearing about Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is out of her league.
it seems very few women who work for a bitcoin right ? my sister also she not interest in bitcoin
They more be interested if you bought her some accessories or some food, They will believe in bitcoin if they have an evidence that bitcoin is true or not, Just give her any things that you can prove that bitcoin is true.

Yeah, they thing it's valueless unless they see you buying something with it. Buy something in front of them in a shop where they accept it using their smartphone and they will learn.
3676  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much do you think 1 Bitcoin will be worth in 2020? on: July 23, 2015, 10:53:39 PM
President Paul's second term won't end until 2025.

Good catch. I stand corrected! Bitcoin will peak in 2020 and crash by 2025 then. Smiley

Why would it peak at 2020 and not 2024? Anyway, I think assuming Paul will reach presidency is a bit of a stretch, I think we'll probably have Hillary Clinton as the first woman president after the first black president, even tho im not really into checking out politics lately and don't know how's it going. Too much involved into geek shit to pay attention to politics.
3677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Free money available on: July 23, 2015, 10:51:51 PM
So to sum it up quickly: A prediction of both a BTC and GOLD sellout is being made for about half August and you are recommending selling off about now and buying back at "double digits"? I don't know man. Seems like a big risk to me.
Im invested in 2 other crypto related projects (they are still technically coins) that I like and I hope by that time if it happens, those will appreciate as BTC goes on that dip.
3678  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 23, 2015, 10:40:09 PM
here is a great quote: “If you are born poor its not your mistake, But if you die poor its your mistake.”
Maybe this will inspire you.

How many of the individuals, who were below the poverty level 20 or 30 years ago, went on to become billionaires? Probably Zero. Without an initial capital, it is really hard to get rich. To get rich, you need skills. And acquiring most of these skills and qualifications need a solid monetary investment (Education for example).

Many people forget that when Facebook's founder started swimming in wealth, he was a young college student. Almost everyone knows the story of Facebook, and Zuckerberg's now one of the wealthiest people in the world, at around $20 billion, regardless of age.
Also The founder of WhateverLife.com

You don't need any skills, maybe some basic. But the thing is that you must have an idea, fucking good and revolutionary idea!

Yes for ideas you don't need any higher education or something.
Maybe the education can destroy your mind and don't let you think for awesome ideas.
Many people have success just by ide, the other stuff do other people

Yes, for example Steve Jobs. He came with the idea, hired his friend for a work and that's how Apple started..
You can read a book about Steve's life, or simply watch a movie called jOBS. ( a huge Apple fan around here Tongue )

I am reading his book, and I find interesting things there.
Yes Steve jobs was a good man, but also made some mistakes in the beginning.
We have also Bill Gates, check some videos on youtube when he was young. It's interesting.

Its definitely interesting reading the bios of those people but lets be realistic, those guys were geniuses basically, can we really be compared to them? I dont think so. So I would rather look at guys like the guy that created Flappy Bird. A simple ass addictive game that deliver millions of dollars in ad revenue. Thats how you get it done. Get something viral and all over the world.
It requires luck, a lot of it, no matter what you do tho.
You can always keep buying BTC and stacking up long term as a lack of a better idea.
3679  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: July 23, 2015, 10:36:16 PM

Being optimistic is good, but you also cannot afford to neglect the reality attached with bitcoin, and the reality is it is too volatile, uncertain and that's the reason many people just ignore to hold bitcoin but selling a part of bitcoin is affordable when prices goes high but selling all bitcoins would be a bad idea.

I'm not saying it'll be any time soon, but if it does start to really fly then every previous expectation will be blown to pieces. People need to be flexible and willing to discard Bitcoin's previous track record.

It's exactly the same as the ancient mantra of 'Bitcoin never goes below its previous all time high' and then it, er, did. That was based on a whole 2-3 years of 'history'.

This market is microscopic and ever developing. People get excited about trades that amount to a couple of hundred thousand dollars. That would be scoffed at by hardened traders. It's something that needs to be kept in mind.

You can find failed "this will never go beyond X" price threads all over the place if you search for them.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=140394.0

This thread for example. Legendary member said we would never reach 100 dollars again. LOL Smiley
3680  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: July 23, 2015, 10:14:04 PM
It's holding steady, but I would not call that dead.  We have even went up to 300 in not far past.  And of course dropped to current.

When I think of dead I think of sub 100 numbers.  That hopefully will not happen.

I think that there is nothing to make panic about the bitcoin price.
It is normal as we know from the past that the bitcoin price change more often that any other currency.
So ~280$ is not a bad price at the moment. It can be better of course.

Yes I think $280 is stable price for bitcoin this time and this is not a bad price but with some people it becomes matter to them since they bought it at the highest peak that hope it will rise again but the reality bitcoin price drop significantly. That will make them stress enough but I do hope in the next few months bitcoin price will start rising again  Grin

280 is perfect, it keeps people on the sidelines waiting for a 300 range, and as soon as 300 reaches, people tend to sell which pushes back the price to 280. I hope this lasts for another year so I can keep buying cheap bitcoins every month.
