BFL didn't ask me to pay US dollar
Sorry, they actually did. Their website shows US dollars on the home page. The order page doesn't even show a BTC amount immediately when you click BTC...there is no BTC sales price. The conversion is automatic and after you've picked what you want to order and agreed to the USD price. Sorry, they don't. You wanted a screenshot that there is a BTC price on the ivoice I was presented during check out. I gave it to you. You wanted an explanation how paying in BTC is different to paying for instance with GBP. I have explained it to you. I don't see what else can I do for you? BFL cheerleaders have their own agenda and no arguments matter! I do not care what BFL will do with the BTC after I've sent them. I've no control on that and certainly this is BFL's choice what % of the BTC they want converted in USD and what % of currency exchange risk they want to bear? You should probably contact your lawyer about that. And videotape the conversation. I would pay good money to see that. |

You know, we facepalm, but that's a big problem with BTC right there. Random Q. User has no idea about cryptography and what all those keys do and why you give out one and not the other and oh, I'd better give you both, I never know which one is which, all those numbers, haha, when I was young we didn't have so many numbers you know. numbers were shorter than, but it's the times I think everything get's more complex, oh so it worked thank you young man.
And there you have a recipe for disaster.

CES is packed full of shit that doesn't work yet. If everyone goes there with non working things, than its OK to do so? Most of the stuff at least works in some ways... Many company are proud to show even a not perfectly working prototype! How else do you attract new investors? That's what I don't get. Why the hell not just stick some FPGAs in there, hook them up to the Nexus and go "It's an FPGA rig now, but we'll have ASICs soon." Much better than a box of fans and space(rs). Or, heck, just take some PCBs, mount them (aside from the ASIC of course), glue some heatsinks on them and stick that in there. "It's not running yet, but boy will it be good when it's done". Nope, better show of a box of fans. |

My opinion of the whole thing was.. you grow older untill you get 18. Then it kindof reverts slowly untill you're a demented 110 year old. No, that's 30. Then you stagnate for 20 years, then you revert. No, that's you noticing it at 30. But the decay started the moment you stopped growing physically. From then on you only grow in 'character' That might be frightenengly true.  |
