3661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 04, 2021, 10:24:28 PM
I'm not getting a huge amount of rewards because I am not very active posters because of my daytime job, but all my earnings are kept in my wallet for long term HODLING I trade my earnings to other coins besides Bitcoin with good potential in the market, mostly DeFi projects, of course, I do play dice games from time to time when I want to be entertained.
very wise if you have other main jobs but can still manage the time to follow the campaign...
sometimes moving BTC assets to other Altcoins can be very profitable because not only BTC has value and also attracts investors. for example ADA, very few predict ADA will be bullish as it is today. I just thought *if I moved the BTC that I HODL to ADA then I would have made a big profit 'lol'
During the bull run when altcoins follow, altcoins are more profitable as they rise higher than bitcoin, but still it depends on your decision as there's a higher risk when investing in altcoins than in bitcoin. ADA has pumped a lot but we did not see it coming, and we can't just say the word "IF" because we are traders, we should make a decision before the movement or before the bullish trend will happen.
3662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / I saw threads coming up when BNB reach the top 3. on: March 04, 2021, 10:09:44 PM
I feel there's a little love for Cardano here, it replaced BNB at the top 3 and was still stable at that rank for awhile.
What do you think, I know both are good investments, but if you will choose which coin you'll invest heavily, which one of the two?

Currently rank https://coinmarketcap.com/

4-ADA
5-BNB
3663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I convince people that Bitcoin isn't a financial pyramid? on: March 04, 2021, 01:33:06 PM
ahhh sad story, me too, i don't even know how to tell my family what bitcoin is about, even though bitcoin has been explained on national tv somehow the scheme the pyramid cannot be removed , probably because national tv just reported about price go up like now, and like big correction happen on 2018 , but never explained about the technology in the detail, they even didn't tell reason why bitcoin was created.
Many people misunderstood Bitcoin, about cryptocurrency, because they have been blocked by negativity. The influence of TV news, social media, and those people are talking about negative before you has already been planted in their minds. As long as they have that kind of situation, that is a big challenge for us to make them understood and empty their mindset.

Maybe telling them every day, showing them proof that you are actually making money from this, guarantees that they will show an interest one day.
3664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Managers Wearing Bitcoin Signature, Funny Irony on: March 04, 2021, 01:07:38 PM
It was the team's decision to let the BM manager wear signature what he wants to wear. And for sure, they have agreed with the terms and conditions, of course, if I have already in the BTC signature campaign and some ask me to run a bounty program (legit) offering high service fees and wanting to change the signature in support of their project, I have to accept it provided that they will pay in BTC every week. But I feel it was not the deal they've talked about. Pretty Irony, yeah, but this is about money, and they are safe with the BTC payment campaign.
3665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Major Risks in Crypto Business on: March 03, 2021, 10:57:24 PM
The major risk in crypto and we must overcome is volatile prices, this on the one hand can make some people feel a large profit. Meanwhile,
on the other hand, it can make some people lose capital.  Therefore trading and investing in the crypto world must have knowledge of how to
analyze the market, so we can find out when is the best time to buy coins and when we have to sell them.
This is all beyond our control and if we can't manage ourselves to control our emotions, that surely brought us to losing sides. People are mad when the price dump but some were also happy with that, the same thing when the prices are high.

Volatility makes people become in doubt, makes them afraid to take the risk but if they understand that volatility makes people become profitable, they will jump in here. We have to say then that crypto investment is only for the risk-takers and that willing to change their mindset and behaviors. And we know that this is not for everyone.
3666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Near success syndrome in trading. on: March 01, 2021, 10:29:13 PM
Too much greediness will certainly ruin us and this is what happens to your friend.

I have this bad experience as well in the previous Bullrun. I thought everything will be fine, I thought the market will continue to move high, If you see on the speculations board that time, everyone is very positive and optimistic but suddenly, dumps come and give me the nightmare.

And from that, I learned a lot, and that we don't be positive always but also, we need to analyze the market if we have to sell or just hold.
3667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment projects ? on: March 01, 2021, 10:15:36 PM
Since you wanted a long-term investment, much better to choose the old one even the price is expensive as it was been proven and tested to have a sustainable market demand. Looking for new projects, that will be of higher risk ever. You can't get assurance from them and you are not sure that the developers will be taking care of it years from now. Many new projects turn dead and that seems possible.

If I were you, I still choose ETH, BNB, and of course Bitcoin.
3668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: March 01, 2021, 10:07:38 PM
Hell, looking at the history of boxing on wikipedia, namely the statistics of heavyweights, I noticed something in common between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. They almost at the same time won the fights against Klitschko, which, in fact, put a fat point in his career. I thought that Klitschko was an unsurpassed fighter of his time, although it is not surprising that I thought so, given that he held the title for a total of 12 years. .. all the same, age takes its toll.
Anthony Joshua had an impressive win on Klitschko compared to Fury as Joshua were able to knock Klitschko down which is a very good fighter, it's just sad that Klitschko was not anymore on his prime that time but still prove that Joshua is a high caliber kind of boxer.
3669  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment on: March 01, 2021, 02:33:27 PM

1. Traders are always monitor the pump and dump so they can invest a perfect coin on perfect time.
2. Trading is purely unpredictable so little analyse and predict our own though is a good decision.
Well, I'm not sure but most of us here are not been in 24hrs watching the market, do the monitoring, and all of these things are not so important and why? Because it only taught you to become panic when seeing the red line.

We know Bitcoin's potentiality and this is good for a long-term investment. We just hold for many years, check the market sometimes and it all be fine. For we are just investing and we are not trading that needs us to check all day and see if we are profiting or not. That absolutely no sense when are only investing in Bitcoin.
3670  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: March 01, 2021, 12:52:44 PM
Many large investors have invested in the BTC. They know why. We currently have a technical reaction, which is normal after strong rises.
The trading volume and the interest of large corporations in BTC proves that the price will continue to rise.
That's why even normal people are not idiots for following the trend.
Price will increase in the long run, hype brings only temporary pump but continues adoption will result to a better price in the long run, not only that, bitcoin market will also become more stable and it will not easily be manipulated since big holders or what we called as whales are divided.
3671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: March 01, 2021, 12:36:23 PM

So top 10 of my portfolio consist of the following based on my blockfolio.

1) Atlant
2) Edgeless
3) Centra
4) Humaniq
5) Matchpool
6) Lunyr
7) KIN
8.) FUEL
9) SONM
10)NPXS

Please tell me if I should still expect I will be profitable or just give up now already.

Of all of my holdings, only NPXS had pump so far.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pundi-x-nem/

Unfortunately I was still not able to sell because the pump is not good enough to give me a profit, I'm hoping it will pump more but it seems the market is not bullish anymore.
Remembering those days where Pundix,Atlant,Centra and Lunyr was one of those famous projects wayback in 2017 or before that bull run event when these coins are on the hype.

For those who held then for sure they are still holding still up to this very moment.Price of alts didnt really increase that much or simply talks about tokens that does have the same blockchain
ex. Erc20.If you do tend to look at them then you can tell that there's no much significant movement.

Bull run today is more focused on Bitcoin and some Coins and not to tokens.

That's correct, there's no bull run for most altcoins, only few in the market and these are major altcoins only. Most of my holdings now does not have a volume anymore, so I think my expectation was wrong to expect that they'll pump this bull run or altcoins season.
3672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 01, 2021, 11:55:28 AM
I hope it's not that bad.
Draymond Green exits Warriors-Lakers with left ankle sprain

GSW went from bad to worst without Draymond around.
Steph can't do a thing with all the defense swarming around him.
Lakers finished it strong with 45 points as their largest lead. Good game for the Lakers.

Draymond has been a key for the Warriors success, without him the defense will collapse and Curry would not get an easy shots. I too hope he is okay.
This is what Coach Kerr says about Draymond's injury.

Draymond Green Doesn't Believe Ankle Injury Is 'Too Bad,' Warriors' Kerr Says

We don't have to worry now as they know better.
I misread it at first glance. I thought it was too bad.  Grin
Thankfully, I read the full article that cleared what you have shared.
Yes, they said first it was just an ankle sprain so it was true.

Lakers had a good night too, it rained with 3 pointers at the first quarter that made a huge lead. All they need it to keep it until the end.
Their next meeting will be March 16 and will break the tie with 1-1 win.

Let's hope that Draymond will be back by that time so it will be a more entertaining game. Draymond is a huge loss to the team if he is not playing, we've seen that in this game that the defense of the Warriors is pretty much lacking some energy.
GSW only shoot 24% from 3 point shot which is uncharacteristic of a team that is living in 3 points.

For more update, we can follow and check it here https://www.nbcsports.com/edge/basketball/nba/player/29835/draymond-green

Politician will promise Earth , Moon and Sun just to get our Vote so why believe those stupid words?

Do you still believe in Their promises ? lol listening in the campaign sorties and rallies with the sugar coated words of Politicians is irritating for me .

Thats why when elections season comes ? i prefer not to watch news in regards to them lol.

I have to agree, we know that what politicians said are not always true especially during campaign period, they will always say those powerful words that will attract people so we will vote for them, after the election, they'll start doing their thing.

The thing is, if a country is one of the most corrupt in the world, their officials are also corrupt, so at the end of the day, its just all about money.

Things to consider sports betting, always believe that sports are corrupt, and therefore don't bet on the team that you think would easily win as most of the time they loss on the point spread. If you are a better and been gambling for awhile, probably you have already heard the words game fixing or rigged games, this is actually true as some are already caught and punished, even an NBA ref which was caught rigging games and was sentence.
3676  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think it's time to go Short on Bitcoin on: February 28, 2021, 10:29:16 PM
Shorting bitcoin right now is playing with fire, you will get burned. Big money is investing into bitcoin now, corporations with billions of dollars in usd. It just takes Apple or Amazon to jump in and the price is over 70k and shorts get absolutely destroyed.
That's correct but the hype is over, price will not just pump and go in one direction, it pumped even reach almost $60k and now that correction has started, I think we can see the opposite of bull run and I believe we will see a lower price than the current price.
3677  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think it's time to go Short on Bitcoin on: February 28, 2021, 03:04:57 PM
$45k, we're still at best. I don't need to worry about that but honestly, I was hoping to drop more and give me a chance to accumulate more Bitcoin.
It sounds ridiculous hoping for a dump instead of a pump, maybe you are right but we know it only has a little chance as these huge market players keep buying.

Maybe, I just have to close my eyes this time and never have to check the price. Because it maybe might give us a surprise that we get back to $50k by tomorrow, who knows?
3678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 27, 2021, 10:16:35 PM
Plus sixers is not the only one that should fear Nets, we still have Bucks and they are a great team with one of the best players in the league as well, Giannis will create trouble for any player in any team, .....

Most likely Giannis will create trouble for his team in the playoffs as his performance is not good in the playoffs compared to the regular season. Last time they exit in the 2nd round I guess, I don't know this time, maybe 1st round?

The thing is they are also different in the regular season, they are only in the number 3 in terms of standing in the East, but they were in the top in the previous seasons, so hopefully it's the opposite in the playoffs.  Smiley

Quote
Sorry but I don't trust Giannis anymore, he can't carry his team in the playoffs, period.
I understand where this is coming, maybe the expectation was too high for him as every time he tries to win in the playoffs, he always fall short.
Being an MVP, you can expect that people are expecting him to play better in the most special situation in boxing, but expectation does not happen.

This campaign will remain active until further notice. !👍

That was also suspended today, (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278352.msg56449416#msg56449416)
All the campaigns are now suspended, let's see what's next, maybe they are planning something new and more attractive.

Not actually all are suspended, there's still one campaign that is up and running until now.

★BetBTC★ Sportsbook & Casino | 7x Magic Streak - Win upto 0.1 BTC every Sequence

That was also suspended today, (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278352.msg56449416#msg56449416)

Weak sauce!!!
Doubt they are planning something new, they sound sort of cheap  Roll Eyes

They are not cheap, they had a competition before and give a huge price, the only reason why they stop is due to lack of participation, nothing more.
3680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum gas problem to be resolved in July on: February 27, 2021, 02:58:36 PM
Will, I supposed to believe that Gas Fee might change someday but saying in July, I don't think so. I don't see how reliable it was when talking about a time-frame where we would expect a change as we know that this is not controlled by someone. Maybe I miss that Vitalik says it but I don't have to expect then since many times that he is not true to his speech.

I understand how crazy the fees it was but have no choice, we have to pay for it if we have no other options to take.
