3661  Other / Off-topic / Create a Simulated cryptocurrency space? on: April 22, 2020, 08:37:24 AM
Imagine we could have some kind of gaming platform that mirrors the entire crypto space where all manner of gamers can visit to look for vulnerabilities, "exploit" them and get rewarded. The gamers are more like bug bounty hunters.

The platform could have a whole copy of an entire cryptocurrency ecosystem/network, like Bitcoin or ethereum, but in fancy form to make the game fun. Gamers will search for vulnerabilities in the whole simulated cryptocurrency space and exploit them to show how vulnerable, decentralized, safe or antifragile the space or a cryptocurrency is.

I think this will help developers in the real cryptocurrency space to see and understand how vulnerable or strong their cryptocurrency projects are. And hopefully, they act accordingly by fixing the identitied problems.

3662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH decentralized? on: April 21, 2020, 03:46:03 PM
Probably not well decentralized but it looks like the stakeholders and developers are really working hard to properly decentralize it. Just hope they do it the right way.
Every community member will need to be part of keeping Ethereum safe and decentralized in the future. Things like having +100,000  Ethereum members to easily run full nodes to fully monitor the network,  check and balance things in a Blockchain-friendly manner will matter alot.

The roll back of transaction is actually important. It should be done via consensus though. If there is undeniable proof that a user/address stole from people, the user should lose his/her censorship resistant right and the money recovered.
3663  Other / Off-topic / Re: A good leader is a good listener. on: April 21, 2020, 03:17:50 PM
being a good listener & being a good leader is different IMO...
A good listener is very suitable to be a consultant, but a good leader must be able to choose which advice to choose because there are also many good and successful leaders who do not want to hear, but do what they think is good.

Listening as a leader is really good otherwise you don't deserve to be a leader. No human leader is perfect, so it's important to always listen and select/implement the good advices.

I can imagine being a leader without listening and accepting good ideas from my people. The people should be able to call for my removal of I don't pay attention to them and take their good advices seriously.

One of the most important thing as a listening leader though is to able filter out the insults, lies, deceptions, intentional bad advices etc
without getting influenced by them.
3664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This guy gambles and wins a total amount of £400,000 and quits while ahead. on: April 21, 2020, 10:45:07 AM
Well, it really depends on how much he bet with to win that much in a luck-based betting.
It's OK if he bet only little or amount he can afford to lose. Not a good idea to gamble or take big risk in my opinion.
By the way, what we call luck may not really be luck, unless you really believe we live in a random "universe" without purpose. *Me just say luck because everyone else says luck.
3665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: * BEST Poker sites w/ BTC * on: April 21, 2020, 09:33:29 AM
SWC is my go to for poker games. There are many tables that are filled by real persons and they have freeroll tournaments.
There are many other poker sites but most of them have empty players and the freeroll tournaments are filled with bots.
Betcoin.ag, Nitrogensports too provides poker on their website.

Yes for the poker i would only recommend Bitcointalk SwC Championship Poker Series(50 mBtc added by SwC). You will play here with real bitcointalk members here and you can't get such an experience anywhere else.

You will play "here"(on this forum?) or on Bitcointalk SwC Championship Poker Series site?  I guess I have seen that before on Gambling section.
I  really would prefer to see poker players play on this forum rather than clicking on many poker external links...but I wonder how they will go about it, I mean fully playing poker on this forum.

3666  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing Poker.com on: April 21, 2020, 08:34:23 AM
What a unique domain name. With that, and your other claims I guess you should be able to afford the copper badge to convince your readers alittle more.
And if you are indeed genuine, you will also need to build your reputation on this forum
3667  Economy / Economics / Re: The drying oil on: April 21, 2020, 08:15:49 AM
Well, the good thing about this whole thing is that the earth will rest a bit from the ruthless activities of mankind on her.
We should be moving to the good/safe sustainable alternatives for our own good and the good of earth.
Before you invent something, consider the disadvantage... Its good should far outweigh the bad or there should not be bad at all.
There should be serious consequences for people who are aware of the implications of these technologies/industries but insist on creating them, and eventually destroying the environment.

I sometimes feel very guilty knowing that i in some ways, depend on this things that are  slowly destroy our world. This is one of the reasons I am moving to a clean, good, safe, sustainable living.

Hopefully it doesn't become business as usual for this kind of industry.
3668  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do during the lockdown on: April 21, 2020, 07:54:47 AM
I would advice people to learn survival skills more. There are things we shouldn't be focusing too much time learning now.

For example, ask older people how they grew and preserve foods in healthy ways during their time.
You could meet rural people (depending on lockdown situation where you live) to learn good survival skills there.  There are some fair/ok tutorials on this on the internet especially YouTube
3669  Other / Off-topic / Re: Help fight Covid-19 with your computer! on: April 21, 2020, 07:42:40 AM
I really wish this can be done safely. Maybe they have strong and good policy on privacy, anonymity and things like that?

One really need to be careful in a world of spying and illegal surveillance with little to no consequences to offenders
3670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really revolutionary? One attack after another. on: April 19, 2020, 02:59:26 PM
I was reading about the hack to understand what really happened to a whole "decentralized thing"... saw an interesting article on yahoo, checked back later and i could access it again....probably due to my device or something else...

* The article on yahoo appeared this way:

Quote
Multicoin Capital-backed DeFi protocol dForce loses ~$25M total locked value in an exploit

Celia Wan
The Block ● April 19, 2020, 4:36 AM UTC

— Well, here are some interesting things I found on the article (summary) :

Quote
* dForce, a Multicoin Capital-backed Chinese decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, has been exploited.

* On the dForce Telegram channel, CEO Mindao Yang said the team is still investigating the issue and advised users not to supply any asset into Lendf.Me now. The team also confirmed the Chinese crypto news site ChainNews that it Lendf.Me was attacked at block height 9,899,681.

* Although details of the exploit were yet to be revealed, it is worth noting that in January,
Lendf.Me integrated with imBTC , an Ethereum token pegged to BTC. Earlier today, a liquidity pool for imBTC on decentralized exchange Uniswap was exploited, resulting in a loss of around $300,000 worth of tokens.
The imBTC attack took advantage of the fact that imBTC uses ERC 777 standard, which allows the hacker to continuously call the Uniswap smart contract to withdraw funds before the external balance could be updated.
On Twitter, some users are speculating that Lendf.Me experienced a similar attack to the imToken one, as transaction records show that the hacker repetitively called Lendf.Me's withdrawal function to take out imBTC that was supplied to the lending protocol by the hacker in the first place.
This scheme, however, was not new. In 2016, the famous DAO hack used a similar mechanism that led to $60 million Ether being stolen. A ConsenSys audit of Uniswap last year also discussed this vulnerability in depth.

* On April 15, dForce just announced a $1.5 million funding round led by Multicoin Capital, with participation from Huobi Capital and China Merchants Bank International (CMBI), the investment arm of one of the biggest banks in China.

The link:
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/multicoin-capital-backed-defi-protocol-043640470.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly9kdWNrZHVja2dvLmNvbS9sLz9raD0tMSZ1ZGRnPWh0dHBzJTNBJTJGJTJGZmluYW5jZS55YWhvby5jb20lMkZuZXdzJTJGbXVsdGljb2luJTJEY2FwaXRhbCUyRGJhY2tlZCUyRGRlZmklMkRwcm90b2NvbCUyRDA0MzY0MDQ3MC5odG1s&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAANLxu58lZfWJcV8j0esqlub8L7YYjL70j0JSIVnQGLVFkIB5EAz2VPhcMwnnp-_f0jXG8CSL6e_Ud9NKhmZCMEyT5BjuE9D2GOEOoUjDmGrdW6fyxLPH0BEr3-_B3iFg8V8T98z7GjZZggUul-SCkT-Va0ikW2lilVkwFER7wNmS

That ^ doesn't look decentralized even without seeing the details of what really went wrong.
Some desperately trying to give decentralization a bad name? I hope not.

"Defi" community really need serious and honest cleansing of the platform, or maybe abandon it and start something really decentralized and safe?
3671  Other / Off-topic / How to read people writeup to avoid intentional/unintentional corruption of your mind. on: April 19, 2020, 11:40:59 AM
It's really simple:

First of all, do a quick full scan through a write up for bad/immoral words or intentions... if the write up is clean/innocent, you can then read it.

I can guarantee you that "the evil one" and his "evil spirits" are using lots of lost/bad souls to destroy or continue to put people in bondage.
"The lost" don't really know what they are doing ... it's the bad spirits that are in control of them.
So, be cautious in order not to be corrupted and used aswell.

* The mind is very vulnerable without strong foundation in One True GOD and his words
3672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Online Gambling Charity Fundraiser for Covid-19 Donation on: April 19, 2020, 10:33:16 AM
Well, I don't think it's a good idea or moral for what many call gambling business/casino to provide relief fund.
Gambling = taking big risk (in my opinion) shouldn't be funding things like this.
For example, it's not a good idea for a ciggrate company, company that sell/buy bad food or company that sell/buy bad things to provide relief.
But it's ok for betting company to provide relief (depending on how risky the company product/service is)... Good/safe betting companies basically.
3673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we are not having more sites like freebitco.in[unique cases of freebitco.in] on: April 19, 2020, 09:32:42 AM
I remember seeing such statistics when I used to visit the site faucet. I guess lots of the bitcoins were paid out when Bitcoin wasn't this "high" in price. So you have to consider this, I think.      I think they also have an investment program where they pay some interest or something.
The site has been here for a long time(and probably still profitable?)... That could be a proof that it's properly managed.

Baltimore travels to San Francisco in what should be a great game. Two of the best defenses in the. The x-factor is Lamar Jackson. Baltimore is rated 87 while the 49ers are at 88. Jackson has a rating of 92. If there is one team that can stop Jackson, it's San Francisco. Take SF +2.5

Big time bitcoin bonuses at these places.

Interesting.
I was wondering were on earth does crowded sports still go on these days, then I saw the link (stimulation).
I guess this is about  stimulated sportting games and not the physical ones? Does it happen between real cities (whether stimulation or not)?

3675  Other / Off-topic / Re: Benefits of drinking hot water on: April 19, 2020, 08:19:08 AM
Well, I was looking for scientific article, but actually I didnt find any for proof of the positive effects of drinking hot water.
but many have proven about what did Hot water drinking brings to them.and besides why always look for proof if there is nothing to lose?
you will only drink water and spent nothing to do such so why bother searching for any documents?be realistic Mate we are talking only Water here and not any material thing.

Exactly!
Am not sure if it has many disadvantages (if it has any at all).
It's almost thesame as recommending fruits and vegetables to people. When some begin to argue about the efficacy of my recommendations I simply tell them thesame thing: "there is nothing to lose". Besides they could have other benefits.. fruits and vegetables are generally good thing.
If you want people soften easily (especially the "truely religious" ones), just tell them that GOD recommends vegetables/herbs and fruit, and show them proofs(unfortunately ignorant or evil people could twist GOD's words and use them for their own selfish/narrow-minded reasons)

Apart from these the viruses that are currently present in the hot water we can easily deal with the coronavirus Many of the benefits of consuming hot water will lessen the ailment of our bodies  No virus can nest. Drinking hot water before attacking the body will kill it  That is why hot water is the most beneficial for curing viruses.

I am not sure if it cures... but It really does great job at controlling diseases and helping you stay healthy and active.
I would recommend adding some sour fruits(or their liquid or something) into the warm water before drinking. Also boil the water (and allow it to get warm) before drinking. That should stop or reduce the bad microbes in the water.

I drink alot of warm water in gulps especially.
3676  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [SHARE] Tradingview chart is useful for viewing Covid-19 data spread. on: April 17, 2020, 02:17:57 PM
Why exactly is that on TradeView? Do traders trade or bet on it to make money or something? Or the traders there are probably using that as information to determine how they will trade in the future or to determine how the market will move in the future?
3677  Other / Off-topic / Re: The truth about GOD asking Abraham to sacrifice his child on: April 17, 2020, 01:32:43 PM
If the law demands that a dangerous criminal be destroyed, it will be lawless to violate that law. GOD is limitlessly more superior to any law. HE is the perfect JUDGE and knows what the dangerous criminal/criminals are capable of if they remain unchecked.

But, Isaac was not a dangerous criminal. He was Abraham's innocent and beloved son.

If HE asks me to destroy someone who will blow up our planet tommorow, I believe he will make me see reason why the evil person need to be destroyed. HE will never destroy the innocents.

And if he tells you to kill all the infidels, or lock the doors of a mosque and burn it down with everyone inside, you would do that too?

HE will never destroy the innocents. I have read in the Bible where people who disobeyed the order of the ALMIGHTY GOD to destroy evil people where tormented by evil they refused to destroy.

No, he never brings plagues or fire down on innocent people, and he never kills everyone in a city because someone decided to dump the ark there.

Abraham most likely knew he was being tested by GOD hence the use of the words "GOD will provide what we will use for the sacrifice" when confronted by his son. A holy man will hardly lie to people.

But "mostly likely" isn't good enough because if he didn't know, you must change your interpretation completely. He told Isaac that God would provide a sacrifice because he had to lie to his son to get him to go along with it. If he told his son the truth, then how would the story have gone?

So, he knew GOD will ... never hurt an innocent child.

Oh? Exodus 12:29

Quote
But, Isaac was not a dangerous criminal. He was Abraham's innocent and beloved son.
I told you before that GOD was merely testing Abraham. The test was also used to signify the future sacrifice of GOD's only begotten SON JESUS

Quote
And if he tells you to kill all the infidels, or lock the doors of a mosque and burn it down with everyone inside, you would do that too?
We are in the time of grace(but time is running out) so HE will likely not send me to kill sinners who don't know what they are doing. Sinners will have the chance to hear the gospel before HE fully judges the world HIMSELF. One of the things that provoke GOD to punish quickly is when you try to hurt his prophets or the innocents before their time.

Quote
No, he never brings plagues or fire down on innocent people, and he never kills everyone in a city because someone decided to dump the ark there
Do you have proofs they were "innocent people". GOD destroys evil and HE does not make mistakes. HE created everything and Knows all our secret thoughts and deeds. I will never question HIS judgment because HE is perfect. Sometimes I wonder why HE is so merciful to us despite the evil and wickedness everywhere.

Quote
he didn't know, you must change your interpretation completely. He told Isaac that God would provide a sacrifice because he had to lie to his son to get him to go along with it. If he told his son the truth, then how would the story have gone?
GOD clearly tested abraham and he spoke through Abraham to his son isacc because HIS spirit was in Abraham. GOD would never have permitted him to lie to his son and sin against GOD. It's just very difficult to lie if you are truely led by spirit of GOD.

Quote
Oh? Exodus 12:29
Like I said before, GOD will never harm the innocents. Do you have proofs they were innocent? HE knows everything and currently watching our conversation.

Well, You may not understand what I am telling you. Alot of the understandings we get from reading the Word of GOD is from the Holy Spirit. You will hardly receive the gift if you are living in sin and your eyes are closed.
✳The gift is followed by regular/occasional flashes in your head. I am absolutely sure it's our FATHER in Heaven that is doing that.
You have to repent, believe in HIS son to receive the awesome gifts Smiley
3678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 17, 2020, 10:47:34 AM
To me, betting double after losing is a sign of desperation from the losers aspect.
And this is an attitude very conversant with a near addict of gambling.

We need to always maintain our calmness, either in profits or in loss.

That could be in most cases as when you double and you still lose again, you might think of doubling again until you will wipe out your entire bankroll and that is very frustrating. but for some, they know how to use this strategy so they are successful, but still not advisable for newbie as mostly their emotion is what they use instead of making a strategy to make it work.

Are there really people who are successful or consistently profitable with the strategy? I have probably seen few members who said they are successful with it... whether it's true or not I don't know. I guess it's a few time successes rather than being successful consistently?

Even though some of your members say that the method is successful, but it cannot provide guarantees for other members, it means that it is only luck that he can succeed in that way, because I often try other people's methods, but the results will not always be the same.

Meaning it's hard to be consistently successful (guarantee?) with the strategy or it's probably not possible to be consistently successful with it at all?
Well, I suspect the "random success" too but  randomness could be a bit lower with the strategy compared to normal bettings...but it's probably riskier.

3679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: April 17, 2020, 09:08:40 AM
In my opinion crypto gambling can even increase the likelihood of taking other drugs, because if you are aone in a room there is nobody watching you. As a consequence it is easier to take some drugs. The constraint because of shaming is much lower.

If a person drinks alcoholic beverages only because they are left alone in the room - this is already a disease associated with alcohol.
For me, going to the casino was always accompanied by drinking alcohol, because I did it for the purpose of relaxing with friends. At home, I tried gambling, but even when I was alone in the room, I never drank alcohol, because I do not have an addiction to it.

This probably means you desperately needed entertainment/fun or just wanted to create the fun. This could easily lead to addiction in my opinion. I would probably take a little alcohol and bet a little to avoid the addictions or avoid betting more than I can afford to lose. I don't really like the idea of entertaining oneself while taking big risk or gambling
3680  Other / Off-topic / Re: i want to play on: April 17, 2020, 07:45:33 AM
You should be careful though, so you don't make big mistakes or take big risk, considering  you said you're drunk.
You should probably research this yourself on one of the search engines if what bitjamz posted didn't satisfy you .
The site he posted has few games... they look reputable (not sure about some though).
