3662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Currently i am quit from market and come in 2024 on: February 28, 2021, 03:43:23 PM
Currently i am quit and just taken my profit and exit. already exit and i am writing. i am hoping to come after 3 years. with 10000USD investment for a potential coin at that time..

now bull market gone, what ever bullish now is temporary and bear is inevitable. so whats your plans ?
It is indeed that bear is inevitable but I'm not leaving the market, since I want to buy every dip and continue buying until we hit the bottom again, and that's the best way to become more profitable in the next bull run, it might be right after the next halving with Bitcoin. I'm also planning to save more money so when that time comes, I can afford to invest more since I don't want to miss any opportunity again.
Personally I think the market is undergoing a temporary correction thus bearish now It's too early to call it quit, experienced traders are always profitable irrespective of the market situation, I believed it is only hodlers like OP will quit for now, I am sure more opportunity will avail itself when the market pick up it bullish runs again which can happen at anytime from now of course the market can never be bearish forever.

Good game by Arsenal by beating Leciester City 1-3 Arsenal dominated the match mounting pressure with both flanks with the duo of pepe and willian threatening and creating chances for Arsenal, I believed the Europa league match Leciester played  on Thursday had taken a toll on their players they are fatigued and dull.
Arsenal is picking form again I hope they can continue to play to match more of their matches onward.
3664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Online Education, the future of learning? on: February 27, 2021, 05:20:42 AM
The number of online education is increasing day by day. Many schools and colleges are taking classes online for this pandemic,Others important course is also taking in online. There are already many cryptos that rely on online courses. But they did not have much success. However, in the near future, many cryptocurrencies will be created that will depend on online education. And come on, those will get success.

It's high time projects related to online education via blockchain come on board, in this pandemic period when online teaching is deployed virtually, blockchain is capable of solving any loopholes of the existing online teaching, however there is no any notable project towards that area, if there is any online blockchain related teaching such a project will have enjoy massive patronage and acceptable, I believed some team come up with such in no distant future.
3665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 27, 2021, 12:47:47 AM
City gonna host for 4rth of the table West Ham.
Although the Hammers are doing really great i really don’t think that they can make a stop for Manchester City winning record.
Iexpect City to get the 3points while keeping a clean sheets.
West Ham have the lowest Goalscoring record in top 6 and City have a defence as their strongest point this year so that is why I can't see West ham getting past City defence.
Look at the statistics, your analysis can be true, at this time City are really in their top performance, in fact, it is possible that in all of the remaining EPL matches City will unbeaten.
I'm more interested in the other two matches:
Chelsea vs Man United and Leicester vs Arsenal the results of this match will greatly change the standings from 2 to 5.
City is just too hot for any EPL team to beat, they are in top form with their full squad intact, West Ham might have their own game plan too but I don't think they are threat to City title aspiration.
The other 3 top four contenders will be very interesting, the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Leciester will have to slug it out to be top 4 possible.
3666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: February 26, 2021, 12:49:56 PM
I don't know if we're the same but in this school year (2020-2021) Bitcoin is now being introduced to our school, although it may not be introduced to other courses, since I am currently taking Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) hence, we are to take Bitcoin and the history of BTC. It's actually great that schools are putting Bitcoin to their curriculum, with that, I got to share my experience with Bitcoin, I got the chance to share my knowledge about the history of Bitcoin and how much I benefited from this.

I also decided to post it here because I think this is a big leap towards the future...

In a time like this when many often wonder the importance of still going to school because we have witnessed tons of graduate from so called institutions with outdated curriculums been pumped into the society only to face life and see that the things they learnt in school have little application in the real world.

It is super commendable that an institution is taking a step to englighten and prepare its students for the future.
I believe In the not too distant future many schools will incorporate Bitcoin as a course in their curriculum particularly financial or computer related course, blockchain technology the brain behind bitcoin is gaining global acception in many sectors of the economy thus the need to learn more about the technology is better taught in colleges and universities in fact there some of these courses online for  personal learning.
3667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Nigerian crypto community to smile soon on: February 26, 2021, 06:06:44 AM
Crypto market too big to ignore, says Nigeria SEC

Crypto traders in Nigeria simply moved from the banks to P2P. The Nigerian government is losing money daily for that irrational decision it took.

I think the decision didn't really have any effect on the Nigerian crypto community, with P2P all seem normal. This means the reversal is just by the finger tip. The youth are carrying on with their business, selling through the P2P. The Nigerian and India situation is really telling who cares to listen that cryptocurrency has come to stay.
Yes the teeming unemployed youths  who found succor in dealing with cryptos to make ends meet will surely find an alternative thanks to P2P which is already serving us well particularly Binance P2P service.
Today cryptos market Cap worth over  a  $1Trillion I don't understand why would a sensitive government via the CBN place a ban such a market.
This is a market that when properly harness will fetch the government revenue and foreign exchange earning, I hope they rescind  he ban else that government will be on the receiving end in term of revenue earnings.
3668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: February 26, 2021, 04:10:23 AM
Simply stupid if you ask me.

Allowing some companies to sponsor and blocking others has nothing to do with fairness. That same fairness that sports are supposed to promote!

Who's there to say what company can be displayed on uniforms and what cannot be? This should be decided by the team not some government asshole.
The government got it wrong here in taking such a decision not withstanding the other non gambling sponsors are they more important than gambling sponsorship?  that isn't fair If gambling organizations can challenge the ban in any court of law they should do so, clubs had been earning huge profits from this deals and this enable some of these clubs to sign quality players having enough funds earned from all sorts of sponsorship deals particularly from gambling industries.
The should rescind the ban in the interest of the clubs.
3669  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much lower you think BTC can go in this drop ? on: February 26, 2021, 02:42:57 AM
It wont go down below 45000 USD. So dont sell it now. If you have your coin with you hold it. If you have money try to get some and just leave it in your wallet and forget it . After next halving thats approximately 1178 days you will soon be a millionare or more than it.
The strong support at $45K should be able to  reject the price in fact the price is already showing exhaustion presently in that zone, I believed the forces of supply and demand determines how far the price will get corrected thus its quite difficult to accurately predict the exact price where the price will pull back to although the price had been experiencing mnor correction so far this year  thus the best bet is to keep hodling it for a long term perspective.
3670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is the right time to gamble on football. on: February 25, 2021, 04:14:21 PM
Among other types of gambling, sports betting has an edge because we're able to analyze and search for the history of the previous games and fights of the players that we're betting with. We'll have an advantage if we know their backgrounds and capabilities. However, I don't think we should focus on gambling as a profession because it always has a big risk. It was originally made for entertainment and having it as a source of income might just bring us losses and regrets in the future.
Analysis of the team previous matches is one the yardstick towards having a successful pick, however it may not work at all times because the strong team do flop and lose matches once in a while, picking a strong team against a weaker one is the surest bet although a very low odd means the gambler will have to accumulate 2 or 3 games to add up to at least 2.0 odd which makes the bet more riskier however playing such a bet for fun wouldn't amount to any loss provided that the gambler bets with the amount of money they can afford to lose.
3671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some important tips about the bitcoin market on: February 25, 2021, 05:09:42 AM
My advice to friends (based on experience)

1.Buy as much as you can
2.Buy on the floor, but do not wait for correction or fall.
3.Do not do anything for the price of tetra and dollars…
4.If it comes down to a short time that you bought at a reasonable price….
5.If it comes down in the long run and stays that you did not lose in the long run, everything will be cheaper than the dollar.
6.Do not act emotionally… Wherever you say to buy or sell… you are more likely to lose

If you have any suggestions, let us all know so we can use this experience.
Thanks Wink
the first point is heretical advice. buying as much as you can using all your money is stupid. it is a high risk. Better to set aside some money to buy bitcoins and do it more often as long-term savings.
Bitcoin and other cryptos are high risk investment advising a newbie to buy as much as they can is not proper and may be disastrous in the long run especially those buying at the peak, recall in 2017 when bitcoin peaked a lot of newbies bought with massive funds that time at that price while relying on speculations that the price will reached $50K unfortunately the price dumped a lot of them sold with a massive losses, while I agreed with the OP on dealing with emotion when trading because it is big challenge for traders especially newbies.
3672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A friend of me got hacked and lost 3000waves on: February 25, 2021, 04:12:06 AM
Hacking and stealing of coins is rampant these days probably it is due high sophistication of hackers where many unsuspecting coin hodlers might not be aware that their PC or Laptop is already vulnerable, I had personally experienced such such attack when I copied and paste the wallet address of my recipient to send some coins however after pasting it copied a completely unknown address it was diligence that saved me from sending my coins to this scammer probably  your friend had a similar experience that lead to stealing of 300 WAVES which a huge amount of coin.
3673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be in a hurry on: February 24, 2021, 05:36:50 PM
Experience in crypto currency has taught me never to be in an hurry to buy a crypto currency token or to join a crypto currency trade pair; The same applies when you are to sell a coin or close a trade pair; never be in a hurry. Sometimes before investing huge; you can buy as low as 5-20$ and use that to monitor the coin prices for the project you want to invest or trade on; Experience also helps, so continue to trade, learn lessons and become better

And also, before you sell a coin or close a trade; choose the same method; sell in batches; as it moons; the first batch would be your capital and little profit; the second batch would be more profits; never close your trades at once; and also remember, never enter a trade at once.

Perhaps, this depend in the situation dude, because sometimes there is a chance that we need to sell it quickly if we know the price value will drop in the exchange or in the market. Although, I agreed that we need to learn always every time we make a mistakes in trading in the platform of exchange something like that.
Selling in a hurry had hunted me several times in trades that are profitable in a long run once I pulled the trigger for sale the coin will pump in the next 24 hours thus depriving me of reasonable profits, I believed this has to do with my emotions, experience is the best teacher I had begin to control my emotion and acquaint myself from this kind of situations and learn some methods of closing my trades, personally trading with higher timeframe is one of criteria in deciding when to close my trade.
3674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First time scammed , very frustrated on: February 24, 2021, 03:53:39 PM
Cloning and phishing is the new subtle means by which scammers fraudulently steal unsuspecting newbies their hard earned coins personally I nearly fell victim of a cloned address after discovering that my laptop was vulnerable I could have mistakenly sent my coins to the address it was my diligence and patience in rechecking the address that reveal the fraud, the bottom-line is that scammers and hackers are getting sophisticated in their operations on daily basis its up to every crypto users to take extra caution in handling their coins especially via telegram which is one of the social media used by these fraudsters to perpetuate fraudulent activities.
3675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: February 24, 2021, 02:29:20 PM
Spanish league's teams are not doing well in the Champions League. The top team in la Liga also lost to Chelsea in the Champions League.
Are other leagues more advanced than the Spanish league? What do you think? Spanish league teams are richer than other league teams.
If I'm not mistaken, Barcelona and Real Madrid are the first and second richest football clubs in the world.
Only Real Madrid left tonight will this be El Real's win? I see that Atalanta's record is also good to compete in the EUFA so Real Madrid will continue to try to win in this match, I know how the tactics of a coach Zidane when he was playing in the Champions League I hope in the Spanish league someone will represent him after Barcelona and Atletico lost before.

It is difficult to say that the LaLiga club will rule again in the champions league after experiencing a downturn, especially Barcelona, which still has rumors about the departure of the mega star Lionel Messi.
The record and pedigree of Real Madrid in previous UCL is one of the yardstick in rating them in the competition they have a consistent good outing in the previous seasons so I don't see any threat by Atalanta in today's match despite the poor runs of both Barcelona and atletico, Zidane had the experience and the magic wand to win the match with the calibres of players at his squad, although they shouldn't underrate and avoid overconfidence Atalanta today else they will can get punished and lose the match.
3676  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Elon Musk looking to buy more Bitcoin ? on: February 23, 2021, 03:32:19 PM
The ultimate market manipulator is at it again.
Maybe, many people are enjoying the move by Elon Musk.  But I think to be cautious, this week the adjustment continues, it may be a double-edged sword.  The whales are re-feeding their prey with many tricks.  I think I should wait a while longer!  Elon Musk is a lot of tricks and daring!
I am quite sure some cryptocurrency traders and some people must have been capitalizing on the market move influenced by Elon Musk, it obvious that the market had dumped in the last couples of days and are in bearish runs thus appropriate time to short trades at the supply zones i.e at support zones however those traders are cautious of the fact that the market is being  influenced and manipulated by the whales thus placed trades with stop losses because a big and sudden move will result to hitting stop losses
3677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ongoing Price Correction on: February 22, 2021, 04:23:36 PM
The correction of the price had probably ended thus had provided an ample opportunity for buyers to buy dipped at $47K+ those who bought at that price had already earned some profits now, the price might likely resume the bullish run after this minor correction which I believe is normal in a market settings, a pin bar formed on 1 hour and 4 hour BTCUSD chart and other USD charts is an indicator that the bulls had resumed their upward trend based on technical analysis and Price Action.
3678  Economy / Speculation / Re: next Bitcoin price correction WHEN? on: February 22, 2021, 05:47:49 AM
BTC price goes up and up ever since we had last correction at 42K. now we are at 57.4 K and climbing which is very very good. some people even expect no correction until 80-100K. if we move like that we may see price over 100K as soon as 2-3 months. what do you think?
The volatility of the price of bitcoin is very high such that price had been experiencing minor corrections in recent times, predicting the exact period when the market will experience a major correction is beyond the imagination of any speculator, even now when institutional adoption of bitcoin is growing thus making it even more difficult to predict the price who knows whether there will another new adoption just like that of Tesla? all these positive fundamentals news will not triggers any major price of Bitcoin rather the price will trend bullishly upward.
3679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the power of HOLD and believe on: February 22, 2021, 04:37:56 AM
Congrats to these people who made it, you're great!
If I only had a time machine, I would go back in 2010 and invest in Bitcoin... if this happened, then I could already become a billionaire. Undecided

But I really think that in 10 years people will say that they regret not buying bitcoin when it was 40k.  Grin

If I were you I would better think about your future opportunities than regret lost chances in your past. Past is gone and you need to accept it. Just imagine your possible profits of Bitcoin investments if you started in December when its price was $20k. Don't think about your past just concentrate on your future. Cool
Thinking about the past will continue to hunt all bitcoin hodlers who sold earlier of course the aftermath of bitcoin price dropping from ATH to $4K in 2017 might be the reason for a lot of dumpers who are having the mindset of that the price will dump again just like a replica of 2017 because what some analysts and speculators said ' History repeat itself" however price had defied all these and pumped to $58K thus hodlers and firm believer of bitcoin had a course to smile and be rewarded for their steadfastness and patience in hodling it in long term.
3680  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without experience and knowledge on: February 22, 2021, 03:15:20 AM
Trading without experience is like Gambling, if you are lucky you will won, otherwise you will lose all your money
Such a trader will eventually lose all their invested funds in the long run this is based on personal experience I was just gambling while trading blindly, trading is not a thing any Tom, dick and Harry can dabble into without any prior knowledge and experience, internet has enough information with regards to learning how to trade thus creating opportunities for any newbie to sit down to research and learn, practice trading by demoing or via stimulation of trades until profits making is consistent before opening a live account.
