3681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts? on: June 30, 2020, 09:48:20 PM
Is it just me or others think same way? I mean are listed bounties intentionally using bounty campaigns to create hype and before the bounty is over they dump part the tokens making it lose value and make bounty hunters share what's left??? I'm kinda confused with bounty projects that are trading
Bounty campaigns are a cheap way of advertising. All they promise in most cases is worthless tokens that have no value or very little value in exchange for your time and bandwidth.

By now you should have figure out this already. Always participate at least in bounties that pay in Bitcoin or a few other valuable top altcoins
3682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Undo button for transactions on: June 30, 2020, 08:17:27 PM
Most wallets have this feature, It's inform of a password or fingerprint authentication from the sender's wallet software. All the major wallets i have used be it electrum, Jaxx, Trust Wallet all ask for password or confirmation shortly before sending funds. This is the time someone can avoid sending money to a different address by mistake.

3683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to recover funds from bitcoin scam on: June 30, 2020, 06:26:57 PM
Why would slushpool.com a bitcoin mining pool contact you on recovering your funds stolen by a scam site?
The Slushpool.com domain has been in existence since 2013 so the email address the scammer gave you is definitely not from their support.

The said email address was created just in April this year with the purpose of scamming people

3684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: People are complaining about airdrop/bounty earnings, something more profitable? on: June 29, 2020, 11:56:01 PM
In this current situation you need some sort of skill or talent in order to be able to earn some decent amount in crypto or USD.
Things like website creation and designing, article writing, graphics designing, programming, Community and social media management etc
There are so many freelancer websites that can pay you in crypto such as Gitcoin, bounties.network etc I have personally been paid through those two in the past in ETH.
3685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling 75% of the supply of a token on: June 29, 2020, 11:26:41 PM
Im selling 75% if the supply of a token which is listed on crex and stex.
So you decided to mint out an ERC20 token which is so easy to do by the way and then deposited it in Crex and Stex (Shit exchanges that don't care which kind of tokens they list) and then come here and tell us you want to sell 75% of the supply?

Otherwise, how else would you own 75% of the token?  Grin

Scammers keep away, trade happens only threw stex or crex, im not going to send first!
No, you scammer, stay away from us.
3686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BitKKTex - Anyone heard of this new exchange? on: June 29, 2020, 10:32:00 PM
Bittrex.com is a good exchange
Dude, the thread is about BitKKTex, not bittrex. The names probably got you confused. That's the work of scammers, make the name of their scam exchange similar to that of a popular exchange as much as possible to be able to trap a few victims who are not keen enough on noticing the difference in the names or domains.
3687  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Be aware of these scammers and thieves iqmining.com on: June 29, 2020, 09:59:41 PM
These kinds of projects will not stop to exist even if they are reported they will just change their domain name, add some features and plan because they always have targeted people and leads, newbies just believe on the promised because they are attracted on design and profit unless they know how to differentiate a good project to scam one they will become a potential victim or victim.
It's people who fall for them will always continue to fund the scammer. It's lucrative business for the scammers. The warnings are not in vain though especially when the domain is still active. A few people who mind to research will be saved from getting scammed.
3688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: June 29, 2020, 09:37:04 PM
uh oh, Messi got caught being a douche: https://twitter.com/FuriaCule20/status/1277378957600571393

why is the captain of the team so disrespectful, guys? why can't he just take a few seconds and listen to the assistant manager? First, the whole thing that went down in El Clasico, and now this...it's pretty obvious who's going to leave the team at the end of the season, right?
That's what happens when you treat someone like a god. Messi is like a small god in Barcelona. Anybody who clashes with him has to go, Anybody who he dislikes has to go, Anybody who he likes gets a chance to be signed. This leaves the Coaches and staff with lots of pressure. The Barca President is also partly to blame for what's going on.
3689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FA Cup and EFL Cup Prediction Thread on: June 29, 2020, 08:34:10 PM
Just watching Norwich vs Man Utd, it’s crazy to see how far United have fallen since Fergie retired. I hated him when he was there but I have to admit it shows how good he was when you see how many levels in quality they’ve dropped.
Especially considering the players he would nurture right from being nobodies to being well known legends. Fergie was a genius. Manchester United Currently is definitely nowhere near the level of Fergie Man United in terms of performance even though they now splash money everywhere to try to get top players, something they used to make fun of to Chelsea and Manchester City.

3690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MERCATOX EXCHANGER: ALL ABOUT MERCATOX EXCHANGE! on: June 28, 2020, 11:52:31 PM
I used to use this exchange back then in 2017 - 2018. One of the few exchanges that i remember would let you adjust the bitcoin withdrawal fee and i don't know if that feature is still there.
One thing i would notice was the frequent wallet maintenance notices for different coins/tokens. Luckily bitcoin wasn't affected.
3691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE ETHEREUM GAS FEES on: June 28, 2020, 10:45:31 PM
But seriously fee is still so low as compared to other payment processors that you guys know of like PayPal, Western Union etc. Imagine send $50,000 for a fee of less than $0.2 which you right now claim to be so high. Let's be fair.

so many payments are pending OR are been delayed due to high fees. what are the possible solution to FAST RESOLUTION of ethereum gas fees whenever it goes High.
Just make sure your gas price is always set high when sending ETH or ERC20 token. Your transaction will be confirmed within a minute. That's the only solution.

Use https://ethgasstation.info/ to see the best Gas price to set.
3692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has someone invested in GBY (Gold Bitpay)? on: June 28, 2020, 09:39:13 PM
Gold BitPay is scam. Just look at the name and you should be already having a clue that those people are not to be trusted with your money.
First they go on to use names of existing projects or assets to create that fake vibe. Gold, one of the most sort precious metal and Bitpay a bitcoin payment service provider are to different things. How do they even appear in the same name?
3693  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: June 27, 2020, 11:10:04 PM
It does seem pretty buoyant but I expect most new arrivals will be going to places with a more instant message style. Reddit is a truly unbearable format and I'm amazed it's as popular as it still is.
So many factors in play especially when we talk about the forum software. I know am just roughly three years old here but what a wait it has been and still no promise that the new forum software will probably be rolled out in the next few weeks  Grin
This current forum software especially the setting bitcointalk uses looks old school. I wouldn't be surprised if some new users preferred the likes of Reddit to it.

This forum is also not mobile device friendly as compared to the likes of Reddit (they even have mobile apps) that you can access on the go. You have to use a desktop or Laptop in order to enjoy this forum. We all know this generation is one of smartphones. Very few people want to deal with bulky computer devices  Cheesy
3694  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers using Profile of High rank members to join social campaign of UNIFINITY on: June 27, 2020, 10:04:58 PM
The only way can do about this. Is just report those address and post as a warning. I do hope those address once reported as scam or alleged used for scam should be lock by ethereum network but this is far from reality to happen soon or never will due to the nature of blockchain.
It's something hard to pull off and not really effective because the address is brand new (no transactions to trace if it was marked as a scammer's address), and the scammer can also easily generate another address using HD wallets like Metamask or Myetherwallet when applying for another campaign using the same usernames
3695  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New scam schema on the forum - Free Money To Test Casinos on: June 27, 2020, 09:41:19 PM
Seems scammer is back with new website
Yeah, they are officially back. Looks like the COVID-19 situation hit them real hard.

3696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 27, 2020, 09:27:43 PM
My picks for this week's Majestic 7:

Jimenez
Ings
Auba
C. Wilson
Lewin
Kane
Salah
In form Jimenez didn't score this time round, sorry mate. I think I also picked him  Grin

any comments about the fa cup games tomorrow? odds are a bit high for the top teams, i mean, Gunners ML @2.36 and Chelsea ML @2.35...sounds like free money to me, especially Chelsea vs. Leicester Fluke  Tongue
Man, Arsenal is so unreliable, I don't even bother thinking about betting their matches. As for Chelsea, they seem to have a found their winning mentality back after the break while Leicester hasn't shown any signs of improvement from the poor form they had before the break. Vardy is not delivering as he should, so I would go for Chelsea on that one.
3697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: June 26, 2020, 11:52:39 PM
I was also sure about Sevilla but right now as match is going on look like Sevilla is going to lost few points hopefully they will do one goal and have end with draw Valladolid is doing good right now and they are also capable of doing upset as well  70 minutes gone. Sad
What did I say a few days back? Two more points dropped once more. Anybody seeing how the story of Julen Lopetegui and Seville is gonna end?
Sevilla have really dropped points since the resumption of the league. They have acquired only 6 points from a possible 12 (1 win and 3 draws). It doesn't seem to be good for their chances of holding onto that 3rd Champion's League spot.  Julen Lopetegui could be in trouble again soon over poor team performance.

Sevilla has shown a lot of unreliability after the restart of the League. Don't waste your money and bets on them
3698  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptoamity.ltd is a Scam or Real? Any way to withdraw BTC from it? on: June 26, 2020, 10:56:12 PM
Sorry my brother. You were definitely scammed. Bitcoin addresses don't need to be "verified" in order to receive payment.

I sold a domain to a client. He said he has the only payment method and he can only pay in cryptoamity.ltd wallet.
so I received money from him about $1k BTC. Everything was good till then.

After that, i contacted the support of Crypto Amity to withdraw funds to blockchain wallet. They said you need to verify the external wallet address. And for verification, you need to send 0.02 BTC  from the external wallet to the crypto Amity exchange wallet. I did that not once but 3 times and the total amount was 0.064 BTC.
This is an old scam trick. "Pay a certain fee so that we can verify your address or Pay a certain fee/make a deposit to activate a withdrawal"

The person whom you were selling the domain to, is he in the forum.
3699  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: June 26, 2020, 10:11:48 PM
Even bitcoin.com closed their forums because of low activity.
Good riddance if they did. By the way before getting to know about bitcointalk, I first registered to that forum thinking it was the main bitcoin forum due to the domain. I would later discover that those chaps had no good intention at all when they kept spamming my email trying to shill BCH claiming it was the real Bitcoin  Grin
3700  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk Future on: June 25, 2020, 11:22:39 PM
Is that site promoted by wearing signatures alone? Or are there other ways for the site to promote?
It was only through wearing signatures in bitcointalk plus posting in their forum to earn some sats. So the traffic you are probably looking at which was high at the beginning was due to spammers and fake accounts. Not organic traffic.

If the signature campaign earns all that many visits, I do not expect that they will stop..
Resources like money will limit them. Don't you see they have already started planning to pay out in shit tokens?
