Are you the only one who hasn't figured out that this is what the US has been doing around the world for a hundred years or more? Russia is only protecting herself and Ukraine regarding the Ukraine takeover by the US.

Cool

Thanks to the war started by Russia with Ukraine, the last empire will finally disappear. Dozens of new states will appear

According to Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wars_involving_Ukraine - the last war with Ukraine that Russia was involved in started in 2014. Even Wikipedia understands that there is a lot of difficulty in determining who was the perpetrator of the war, when it started, and why.

Well, perhaps the first results of the special operation can already be summed up. Donbas is ours! Kherson and Zaporozhye too. Grin

Moreover, Putin says that the whole of Ukraine is Russia. Yes, Ukraine, Kazakhstan is also yours. Say only that it is not yours, in order to somehow decide.

Russia and Ukraine have been part of each other and separate from each other, at different times over the last 2,000 years, with borders changing, and names changing, that the anybody in the whole area could say, "Yes, we are ours."

Cool

I do not understand, whose are ours?

'We are ours'... meaning Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, and a whole bunch of nations in Eastern Europe and Western Asia that have been intermingling and fighting about exact borders for thousands of years.

I have one of those big, fat Webster college dictionaries from 1966. One day I looked up "International Monetary Fund" (IMF) in the dictionary. It listed about 150 countries around the world that were members of the IMF. It also listed about 20 countries that turned down IMF membership.

What is interesting is, that the 20 countries that had not become members, were also the countries of the world that had the most trouble... wars, famines, internal disputes, diseases, etc.

It makes one wonder. Did the peace come because the IMF made things work out for a country that joined? Or was it the IMF that made trouble for the countries that wouldn't join?

3687  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Putin grants citizenship on Edward Snowden on: October 01, 2022, 04:40:54 PM
^^^ Edward Snowden's first contract was his Oath of Office, to uphold the Constitution of the USA. When he realized, through his position in national security, that many other people who had take the same Oath of Office as he did, were breaking their Oath, and causing destruction of America through that breaking, all he did was to tell us all about what they were doing. So, essentially Edward Snowden is near the top as far as being patriotic to the USA.

If you read the Constitution, you will find that the US doesn't have any business running around the world and interfering in other countries. And if it is unclear in the Constitution, then the writings of both the Federalists and the Anti-federalists will clarify it. (These were the two main groups of people who set up the Constitution in the first place.) Both groups wanted to keep America out of foreign affairs.

All that Snowden did was to do his duty and show us all how there were many people in Government breaking their Oath to uphold the Constitution, at least in the spirit of the Constitution. Regarding this, Russia was changed by US government people and US banking people who supplied the Bolshevik revolutionaries with what they needed to overthrow the Russian government of 1916. Putin knows this, or at least now that Snowden prompted him to look at Russian history.

The US is against Russia for one major reason. The Bolshevik overthrow was intended to make a socialist one-world government way back then. But, along the way, Russia revolted against the criminals in the US government and banking system. That's the basic reason why the US is pushing Ukraine into a fight against Russia. Not because Russia is trying to forcefully take over the world. In fact, just the opposite.

Yep just because you claim that all blackmail potential has been exhausted (during the third lowest demand month) we don't have any critical thinking and just totally believe you!
(26 September 2022) Germans call for Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline opening now that there's nothing to open tell me again how that's a benefit to Russia? I'm not even talking about hundreds of millions of m^2 of gas Russia lost there

NS2 was dead already. "Germans call for [...] opening" is bullshit, a few people protesting won't make that happen.

Let's say Putin decided to shut NS1 off in January. Would that change Germany's policies towards Ukraine or Russia? There is no indication that it would. That's what I mean by exhausted blackmail potential.

As for lost gas and whatnot... you're assuming that Putin is a rational actor, which he clearly is not. If he cared about Russia's economy he wouldn't have invaded Ukraine, or would have retreated when the crushing sanctions became evident. He will happily run the country into the ground to feed his imperial ego. Blowing up a pipeline, or like Russian propagandists now propose - blowing up gas tankers, underwater fiber cables, etc - to harm the "enemy" is small potatoes compared to the overall destructiveness of the regime, so your feigned outrage as to why we would even think that Russia could do this makes no sense.

So far Putin doesn't have to be much of a rational actor. Everything that has happened since the US/Ukraine puppet takeover has only made it easier for Russia to advance and become richer... starting with the sanctions, of course. And it all is pushing towards a Russia-China alliance, by accident(?), of course.

Just think what a Russia-China alliance would do... the country with the largest landmass getting together with the country with the biggest population... and all of them in the same basic neighborhood of the world, already.

We can't save the planet. Why not? Because we can't even save ourselves.

The planet has millions of cubic miles. But we are so tiny that you could easily fit all the volume of all people into 2 cubic miles. We are nothing.

However, we exist. That means that the One Who made the planet, also made us. We need to look to Him to find salvation for ourselves. He will take care of the planet.

Cool
The only good thing about making the planet green is that we are saving the world and saving our health too
I am very impressed from the people were making small gardening groups and making small investment

Outside of a few people here and there, most of us live only 100 years, if that. Since the saving of our health doesn't seem to increase the saving of our life very much, maybe we are totally going about it in the wrong way.

I want someone to answer this question honestly:

Would there be porn and prostitution WITHOUT money/capitalism?

Would women do it for free?

And no, I don't mean having sex just for fun with men of their preference.

You should first know that prostitution solely involves the solicitation of sexual services for money.
There are male prostitutes as well.
If women or men do it for free, money doesn’t change hands and therefore can’t be regarded as such.
Do you ask questions like this for the fun of it?

I am not in favor of prostitution; I am against it. However...

We could all avoid a lot of interference by government in money affairs if we simply did this. Set up a trust or corporation or LLC to own our money. We ourselves would be the controller or trustee or president. We would have wording in the 'entity' which gave us the ability to transfer the control to someone else. Simply transfer the control to somebody else when we want to buy something.

The artificial entity still has the money; there was no exchange of money for anything. Since the 'entity' is considered to be a person by government, there isn't any personal tax to it for exchanging money. And, there isn't any regulation for doing nothing.

Many rich people use this method all the time to avoid taxation legally. This shows that power is greater than money.

Russia's expressed goal has been to take over the world. But they have been using free trade to do it... since the fall of the Soviet Union. Why free trade? Because they are smart enough (finally) to look at their own history, and that of the so-called free world.

Force doesn't work. Free trade does.

The reason why the US is trying to conquer Russia is the two kinds of money systems involved. The US money system doesn't have anything backing it. But the Russian system (at least now) is backed by gold.

The US trades debt. Russia trades real value.

If the US doesn't conquer Russia, its (the US's) debt-backed money system will be destroyed, and the US will become a has-been. Why? Because people don't realize that using US money is trading in debt, and that the debt is a fake debt... meaning there isn't any value in the US money system. If they realized it, they would naturally get out of using it.

Getting the Ukraine to join Nato is only another method the US is using to attempt to destroy Russia.

Politics is about policies not politicians.

Legalize cannabis. Make BTC international tender. Hang all the rapists.

Simple  Cool

Sounds simple. But it is just complex enough that people don't understand. For example...

If you have a comb in your pocket, should government create policies to regulate your comb or how you comb your hair? It would be stupid for them to waste their time like that, but they have two choices, stupid or not:
1. Legalize and regulate combs;
2. Don't legalize and regulate combs; and repeal all laws that already legalize and regulate combs.

Get government out of it so that the people have easy freedom. After all, cannabis has been used for thousands of years without regulation. Why legalize it so that it can be regulated, now? Just get government out of it... and out of a whole lot of other things.

"But, but, but..." you say. "What about people who get high and hurt other people?" Here's what.

Government should advertise the dangers. Then, punish people who hurt others... "eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, and life for life." If people aren't smart enough to regulate themselves, especially when they see what will happen to them if they harm somebody after all the government advertising, then they shouldn't be around. Let them be punished for the damage they have done, and let their family take care of them.

I mean, they are going to die anyway, sometime. They simply expedited their own death process if they misuse cannabis or other drugs and die because of it. It's called freedom.

There isn't any Ukraine advantage. Russia won't stop until the whole world is shut down, if that is what it takes.

Russian nukes are far superior to all others... even those of the US. And the Russian system is in place so that if one nuclear missile fires, the rest of them will fire automatically.

Beyond that, nobody knows. If the US has away to stop Russian missiles and nukes, we don't know. If Russia has a way to stop US missiles and nukes, we don't know.

There is no Ukrainian advantage except to get out. Why get out? Because when the nukes fly, Ukraine will be the first to go.

You are right, the presence of Russian soldiers in Ukraine is dangerous.

The recent voting to join Russia - in Donbas and other areas - shows the danger that the US/Ukraine-government/Nato has been for Ukrainian people. "Russia, thanks for the help, and continue to kick the fake Ukrainian government usurpers out."

All the Presidents play golf at Government's expense, 'cept Biden who is too out-of-it to play much of anything.

And you look at all the deals Hunter did in Ukraine and China, and all you can think of is a story that Trump's son-in-law might have made some money with the Saudi's?

And you forget about the successes Trump had turning the country around to
Make America Great Again.

But you totally ignore the Biden controls...
- gas prices rising
- the election fraud
- giving away tons of money to Ukraine to finance Hunter's endeavors there...
- which enriched Daddy Joe and all kinds of Dems in Congress.
- inflation skyrocketing - $11,000 more for the average American household to live this year.

You must be a CCP infiltrator. Or maybe still in the basement after Covid.

Ravings of a madman! The Russian card of the Mir payment system was stopped serving in Turkey. The only country where "Mir" is still accepted is China.

Even if you are right about "Mir," a joining of Russia and China is earth-shattering.

Russia is the largest country in the world by land mass. China is the largest country in the world by population. Think of all the open land in Siberia that Russia could make available to Chinese people. Citizens of Russia flee to other countries, fleeing the war.
With Putin not looking like slowing down, plus with the annexation of four Ukrainian states, it will require a bigger military presence in those states to secure them. Putin may soon request for eligible people who meet certain requirement to be enlisted into the military to go and be stationed in those states. Some of the people who may not want this are the people that I think are currently fleeing to other countries.
