Its getting harder and harder , atleast for my eyes  Roll Eyes . @mu_enrico nailed most of them right
Hey, sup guys? Lol, I don't even try before reaching lv. 4 or lv. 3 anymore, depend on the absurdity of the image Grin

No one here won the Play'n Go lottery? IMO It's not the best campaign though. Tbh Play'n Go is one of the most expensive slots to play with the RTP of ~94% (standard). Even if the gameplay is excellent, I don't think it's worth an extra 2% compared to other popular slots.

Deepest condolences for those who died in the beehive Grin

I have nothing against slots from a third party, but it's always nice to discover something new. I used to play Scarab Spin quite often, before Blue Samurai was released. Now it's one of my fav slots to have fun with. I like the graphics of the slot and all the sounds. Kudos to those who created it!

I don't gamble to make money with it, so my stakes are usually small. But, on the other hand, winning less than 5k sats isn't that entertaining, so I adjust my bet amounts accordingly.
True! What I like the most with these two slots is also about the ability to wager peanuts Grin CMIIW, the volatility is low too so that users can play longer! This one is undoubtedly the cheapest form of entertainment!

I hope the other original slot games wont be just a different themed slot, but it should be different type slot (at least the grid, payline and feature should be different).
How about add jackpot into it like Mega Moolah (crappy slots but the jackpot is the main selling point IMO), plus make it rare so that only one winner for every x years.
3686  Economy / Economics / Re: Minimum volume to significantly change an altcoin's price? on: July 24, 2020, 05:02:03 AM
I was thinking this too but it might be possible to use Google trends data or similar to work out if searches for the coin spike at that time. If they do, it's more likely to have fundamentals imo but I'm not entirely sure how you'd link the two anyway other than a higher volume moves a coin up on the list of coins on a lot of exchanges.
Researchers can use historical data (including Google trend) to a certain extent, but it should not be used for future prediction/projection/forecasting with 100% confidence. I mean, you will often find predictions differ from reality.

In the mentioned paper, the researcher found correlations (not causation) between the absolute value of price change and volume. It means when the trading volume goes up, the price can either goes up or down. OP suggests that the x% volume -> x% price (causality), which is tempting, but I'd rather trust the good old 1987 paper.
3687  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans in a Bitcoin world on: July 24, 2020, 04:43:23 AM
Loans in the Bitcoin world is such a complicated problem to solve! Let's start with the hypothetical scenario about the Bitcoin value, which is always increasing over time. In this imaginary world, no one will be incentivized to lend and borrow Bitcoin. Lenders need an incentive to provide liquidity, usually in the form of interest, while borrowers need stability (fixed interest and repayments). If the Bitcoin value increases over time, borrowers will find it more challenging to repay the debt (principal + interest), which makes it undesirable to borrow money and then drive interest rates to zero. When the interest rate is zero, the capitalist would think, why would I risk my Bitcoin if I can just hoard it in my wallet.
3688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting biggest winners. on: July 24, 2020, 03:43:34 AM
The number 10 is just pure luck. With odds of 1,666,666/1, if I'm on his situation I will not expect for too much on it. Just see the odds. That is even lower than your chances of winning in a lottery I think but still he is quite lucky enough to get the prize Cheesy.
What kind of event can give such a high multiplier?
It's like predicting who score a goal, and the exact minute of the goal happened. I don't think it can give x1,666,666 multiplier though. Sadly, I lost my worldcup bet slip, IIRC it only gave x100,000ish.

I am a slot lover too... but it is a pity that these Slots are from third party service providers and not original Stake Slots. Also, most of these Slots are priced in Fiat values and not designed for Crypto micro betting.
Adding 240 original Stake slots will be impossible in a relatively short time, so the decision was understandable. The good thing is, the Stake's original is still there, and users can still play it. I hope they will develop more Stake's original though, not then become complacent.

Bacaan: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Password_strength

3691  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank Digital Currencies: a Threat or a Blessing? on: July 23, 2020, 07:13:36 PM
Digital currencies issued under a central authority doesn't get used to be a cryptocurrency. They are just digital currencies, which means traditional fiat were given a digital accessibility.
Maybe you should replace the word "cryptocurrency" into "Bitcoin" since lots of cryptocurrencies out there were issued by the "central authority," including your beloved Ethereum Smiley
At the moment, perhaps every currency that uses cryptography can be put on CMC.
3692  Economy / Economics / Re: Minimum volume to significantly change an altcoin's price? on: July 23, 2020, 06:55:55 PM
First of all, you should define the term "significant." Is it 10%, 20%, 30% etc.?
Second of all, you can't create a robust formula for it because each coin has different fundamentals. Well, assumed that the coins have fundamentals, not just shitcoin without any development.
Finally, the relationship between the price change and volume is a correlation and not causation.

The last clip was good too but I couldn't understand what they're saying. That cringe face from the guy could be a good emote.  Grin
We can guess it. He said: "Please... please stop woman! That's enough." Grin
I like how the girl keeps her emotion cool while risking the free spins. You can watch the full video actually (there's a link on the page), and at the end, the guy complaining to the audience that the girl cannot stop gambling so he cannot withdraw the winnings.
3694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 102: The Provably Fair Slots (with poll) on: July 23, 2020, 01:32:51 PM
Is there any reasons crypto.games isn't on this list?
Yes, I'm more familiar with "crypto-games.net" so subtracting ".net" the phrase become "crypto-games."
I just realized the site now uses crypto.games as its main URL.

Nevertheless, just like @Bitinity said, I've put it on #7

Well, perhaps the games are not very fair (maybe not more than 80% fair) because they are not decentralized or fully decentralized?
And the need to void/disqualify bets will be drastically reduced on well decentralized betting system.
Well, that's how the mainstream slots have been set up. Don't use it if you don't like it. Unfortunately, most of the best-seller title didn't use provably fair when we can verify hashes.

Anyways, I'd rather encourage new developers to implement provably fair than to ask big players to change their way of doing business.

One vote for Bitsler
I'm impressed with their new "indie" slot as well.

Speaking about a plan that has been executed perfectly. "Dreaming the Slot" is a combination of a well-thought plan, about one of the most interesting slot game featured on one of the best casinos in the crypto world, and about a lucid dream of playing the game every night. Can you guess what it is? Those who have the purest slot heart will be able to guess the title in just a mere five seconds.

OMG, 240 slots title!! The competition between casinos will be tight!
As a slots lover, this is the best year of my life Grin

I hope Stake has promotions too... Don't you guys want to be the best crypto casino out there? Wink
Checked the RTP some of my favorite slots, and it's as good as Bitcasino, nice!
Oh, perhaps the dev should move the search box into a more visible place.
3698  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank Digital Currencies: a Threat or a Blessing? on: July 22, 2020, 11:14:57 AM
If the idea of a CBDC is implemented to its full potential, it will strike against today's bankers (not central bankers, though). Really, if people will be able to transact directly through a central bank (as Roubini suggests), what is going to happen to commercial banks?
Well, currently, central banks use RTGS or other techniques. Central banks will settle transactions if the transfer occurs between different commercial banks afaik. Perhaps the CBDC only renews the old RTGS system. Commercial banks still do what they do best poorly, e.g., giving loans.

how can they hurt Bitcoin beyond what regular fiat already does? People will see the advantages of a CBDC, but these are also the advantages of Bitcoin, divorced from the CBDC's disadvantages (most important, inflation)
What made I'm interested in Bitcoin is for remittance or commercial usage across countries. At the moment, PayPal sucks, and Bitcoin is the cheaper solution for that purpose. If CBDC can somehow make remittance and international commerce easy and cheap, we will lose these markets. Since we already lose the "buying coffee" market due to the scalability problem (the so-called trilemma), the one who stays here will be the "e-gold" and the gambling market, and it's niche.
3699  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank Digital Currencies: a Threat or a Blessing? on: July 22, 2020, 07:05:44 AM
Put shortly, digital currencies issued by central authorities cannot on their own pose a real threat to Bitcoin and undermine its value proposition coming from its decentralized nature and capped supply, especially in the long term.
True, and don't forget the pseudonymity and the borderless nature of Bitcoin. With CBDC, perhaps KYC will be mandatory, so people's financial activity can be heavily tracked... Good bye online gambling! And it's easier to convert BTC into local currencies at the moment (well, based on my experience dealing with both). I think CBDC & fintech products are competing in the same market, but not with Bitcoin.

Anyways, it is definitely not a blessing since Bitcoin will move towards a niche market if it cannot compete as mainstream everyday e-cash. Like I said:

Perhaps it cannot become a currency, but it certainly can become useful money.
