Rafa Benitez is gonna leave Newcastle after his contract expires on June 30.  Sooo does that mean Mike Ashley sold to the oiler's cousin?

That also means Mou could be the next manager.  If that happens, who wants to make a bet...  I say Newcastle finishes above United this season.  Give me good odds.  Smiley

Mourinho is not the best manager anymore.
I wonder if he can handle mid-sized teams with small budget in their pockets. If he signs for Newcastle it would be a disaster for him and his career in the outcome of this move.
3682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 24, 2019, 03:43:20 PM
The Championship is getting boring in F1 with Mercedes dominating every single race and all the other teams are far from being a rival to Mercedes. We need more rivalry here in order for it to be more enjoyable to watch.

It is a different thing in MotoGP,there are always great overtaking moves in almost every race and it is more beautiful to watch compared to F1.

You are right, but I have people blaming Mercedes for that.
Instead of blaming Mercedes for being the best, why not blaming Ferrari for not improving? We need better teams in the championhip not worse, but still people don't like that Mercedes is No1.
3683  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does Facebooks's Libra cause the growth of bitcoin? on: June 22, 2019, 05:47:27 PM
At best

no one outside of the libra consortium is going to trust libra (and likely inside)

Alipay, Tencent or whatever will need a bridge to them ....

Large transfers between various systems will need to be done through a trusted zero counterparty risk with market depth .....  can any one say bitcoin....

I see that libra will somehow become associated with a BTC holding company to allow low friction to BTC then those that want withdraw to their private wallet.

So its hard to see how libra will not help BTC and be a massive on ramp,

Plus BTC has near a decade head start and a lot of dev and infrastructure in place.

I will not be connected but it can definitely bring more people to the cryptocurrency market.
Libra is going to be trusted from people who trust in centralization. Having said that, they will be slowly be inolved in cryptos and they will see directly the benefits of holding Bitcoin or any other already established cryptocurrencies.
3684  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here are the speculations how $1M/BTC might be possible in 2020... on: June 22, 2019, 05:42:44 PM
We are all thinking that true mainstream adoption is needed for bitcoin's value to have big price levels but practically those big price levels ALONE will make mainstream adoption happening. Main stream adoption is NOT needed for reaching big values but for having sustaining values.

Now, based on how bitcoin had recovered from the 2018 downfall, it may test $1M levels in less than 18 months given that how intensively mainstream media may keep on inducing FOMO among all types of investors.

I believe bitcoin may test $100k levels before end of 2019. DO NOT ASK me any technical proof. Your FOMO will not obey any mathematical formula. Reach of awareness on the future of bitcoin is purely random hence I am not involving any analysis for this speculation but based on how bitcoin prices had traded in the past and where it is right now.

Already LIBRA, BAKKT and various ETFs are doing enough media things to spread words on cryptos and bitcoins. These (and other related positive news like Wall street listing bitcoin futures etc.) will result in RECURSIVE FOMO which is all, we need. By mid of 2020, we are about to experience another halving which will be the finisher-catalyst to test $1M before end of 2020.

Finally, in my speculation bitcoin may value $1 Billion in next few decades but before that get ready for experiencing many roller-coaster rides.

That won't be true.
The media is manipulated by banks and financial institutions and they act for their own profit. And apart from that, the media doesn't spread FOMO for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general but they do the opposite. They spread FUD and try to make people not to spend money on it.
3685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price update reach 10,000$ on: June 22, 2019, 05:40:33 PM
At this moment happy to seen at coin market cap bitcoin price $10092.99 USD (5.67%)
1.00000000 BTC (0.00%) are reach the level market value while I am writing this update hope this is the moment of bitcoin goes into bull run.

Do you think guys 15,000$ will reach by next month?

I don't think that it is possible to see such an increase in the next month.
Although the bitcoin price is following an uptrend, altcoins are still a lot back in the market and they struggle to follow this increase. If bitcoin increase isn't depicted in altcoins it would be hard to continue moving upwards.
3686  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to 5 digits - Congratulations everyone! on: June 22, 2019, 05:36:32 PM
It is really impressing how we managed to hit 10k in such a little time.
Now I guess that many people who pulled out of the market will try to come back again and they will jump again in high prices and sell in low due to the Fud that is going to happen. It is like going of the same cycle again and again!
3687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 22, 2019, 05:24:20 PM
The Italian journalist Di Marzio has reported this morning that De Ligt has said YES to Juventus. This would be incredible news but somehow I have doubts that Juventus can match the offers of Barcelona, Man U or PSG. A Chiellini - De Ligt duo does sound incredible though  Shocked

I have a feeling that PSG is going to offer the most money and he is going to sign there. I think that in this post
it is already stated that he rejected an offer from Barcelona so it sound that Blaugrana are out of the chase of signing the young talent. Personally, I have a feeling that he is going be between PSG and Juve in order to sign.
3688  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-19] Bitcoin Price Will "Easily" Blast Beyond All-Time High Soon on: June 22, 2019, 05:18:02 PM
I am pissed when I read the word "Soon".
How Soon? Where do you rely saying soon? Will this be a month, a year or a decade?
We are definitely into a bull market but if you want to give a prediction then say a date of your estimation, not just a vague indication. Otherwise, people can't trust the news you are posting.
3689  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-16] US Federal judge threatens to hold Craig Wright in criminal... on: June 22, 2019, 04:55:45 PM
Well, as what I'm sure comes as a massive surprise to absolutely no one at all, Craig Wright has failed to provide the courts with the data they ordered him too, managing yet again to prove without a shadow of a doubt he is decidedly not Satoshi.

https://beincrypto.com/craig-wright-reportedly-failed-to-submit-court-ordered-bitcoin-wallet-addresses/

Any bets on how he will spin this to fit in to his ever growing web of lies?

Now we have to wait for the next court date on the 28th to see what happens next.

Not surprised with that.
He won't be able to prove them on the next court and I hope that the judges will send him to jail. I am really pissed of with this guy, we need to clear the community from him.
3690  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-22] Bitcoin Price Hits $11K Less Than 24 Hours After Breaking $10K Mark on: June 22, 2019, 04:50:32 PM
Indeed this increase in the Bitcoin price is amazing.
However, I cannot see any article noting the exact reason of this increase. Is there anything special that happened during these days or it is just hype? I am just wondering if this will continue or it will drop.
3691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 22, 2019, 03:12:27 PM
Where are the Vettel fans now?
Should we blame Hamilton or FIA for that 7 position on the grid? 😂
Amazing performance from McLaren which both drivers made it to 5th and 6th place.
3692  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-21]Bitcoin Hash Rate Climbs to New Record High Boosting Network Securit on: June 22, 2019, 08:29:59 AM
As the Price of bitcoin increase the Hash rate is going to keep growing.
Now, Mining has become again profitable and people that shut down their miners during the bear market they start switching on them. I think that if the price will keep increasing the Hash rate is going to follow the same direction.
3693  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-21] ‘If Bitcoin Hits $10k, It Will Easily Break Past The $15k Price Lev on: June 22, 2019, 08:24:04 AM
So we are already above 10k. Do you think that we are going to hit 15k as well?
I am very cautious with that because I think that if we don't see any increase in the altcoins then I think that the price will go down again. There are many people that wait for a top in order to start selling.
3694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 22, 2019, 08:19:24 AM
if a rich club can't win a league or any other championship I think it's because of a problem in the club management section, in other leagues this often happens in some big clubs.

as you understand not only money play football. you can but star players but they won't be a star team and average team could beat them.
it's not everything in football about money, but you have to look thoroughly that a financially good club will have a greater chance of winning a league or other trophy.

We have great examples that teams don't need money to win titles. One example is Liverpool who won teams with bigger budgets and the other example is Ajax of course. Ajax showed in European football that you don't need money but just talent to be competitive.

Indeed money isn't everything but money plays a very important role in bringing players with good talent into a team. In addition, the team needs bench players who have qualities not far from the core players because of the long competition which of course susceptible for injury. Without qualified bench players, of course the team trip will be a little hampered.

You are right mate.
Money can bring success for sure, but it doesn't guarantee it.
It just increases the chances of winning a title if you have good players in the pitch and out of it.
3695  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-21] CEO of Bank of America: “We Want a Cashless Society” on: June 22, 2019, 08:10:21 AM
Today, developed countries and powerful bankers are recognizing that technological innovations such as blockchain and the Internet of Things, have doomed cash to disappear.

https://bitcoinist.com/ceo-of-bank-of-america-we-want-a-cashless-society/

They want a cashless society because they obviously can be benefited from that.
There will be not any measurement in their ability of printing money or anything that has physical entity.
Still, I am not sure if they are in favor of Blockchain technology or they want to promote their own cashless societies that would work with their own rules.
3696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook coin is not a threat for Bitcoin on: June 22, 2019, 08:01:42 AM
Hello everyone so now i want to share a very good information with that the facebook community says the the price of facebook will be stable like a USD so its mean that there is no threat for bitcoin because all investors want that they gain more profit in short time that  is why they invest their money in bitcoin because the btc price is fluctuated and for good investment need the unstable price.

So it will be a stable coin? I read their whitepaper and this point was very vague to me. I really couldn't understand the use of Libra. Just that it will be used as a financial instrument.
If so, then why should investors buy Libra? There are already stable coins in the industry. It won't make any difference to the crypto market.
3697  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $9,000 by the end of the year on: June 22, 2019, 07:58:04 AM
Actually it's $9000 now and  hopefully it will not drop again. Let's observe the market till we reach a new high price before years end. And it's good to see that the price is increasing again, I feel that every one is happy especially who buy when the price is low.

I think it will not drop anymore, this is a complete revenge of last year's bad market.
We are gonna see a bull run this year, I'm very confident with that, price current is almost $11,000 and that's very bullish if you will ask me.

I am very frightened about this huge increase.
It would be better if I see this increase depicted in the prices of altcoins otherwise it is a very difficult situation in the market in my opinion. Bitcoin dominance will already 60% doesn't seem normal to me.
3698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi? on: June 22, 2019, 07:52:01 AM
Nobody can actually give a correct details of who Satoshi is but what we all know that he created bitcoin and is been remembered of it. What matters is bitcoin is here to dominate over other cryptocurrency for good and it's our assets

I have started thinking that Satoshi may be a cyber criminal and this way he revealed something really revolutionary for the society and he didn't reveal his identity in order to protect his invention. If Bitcoin was characterized by an invention of criminal then it would never succeed.
3699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 22, 2019, 07:46:06 AM
This is not always true. If you remember, when Juventus sell Pogba to M.utd, they spend almost all this money to buy Higuain. It is probably one of the worst expensive transfer even. They don't know what to do with him, just send them on loan and save money from his salary.

On the last 8 years, Juventus got for 1m € or less

Pirlo
Barzagli
Pogba
Llorente
Kingsley Coman
Sami Khedira
Neto
Dani Alves
Emre Can
Ramsey
Rabiot?

The fuck is wrong with Juve, they’re like vultures picking up cheap or free transfers. It hasn’t won them the CL has it?
Ronaldo is getting old, they need to invest in younger stars.

Ah...  No wonder Pep told Juve 'no'.  City's a way better project.  They're building one of the best squads in Europe imho.  Hopefully enough to win them the CL before Pep's contract ends.

If not, he'll prolly extend anyway.  Wink

I think City built a club by wasting a lot of money but it wasn't very effective but in fact they were able to win the English league but we all know the money they use to buy quality players should also win other trophies like UCL. we see the next few seasons can we make Man City the UCL champion.

The reason why Manchester City doesn't win the Champions League is because they try to buy players that are good and not good with each other. Having said that, they are not able to build a team. And in those competitions such as CL you have to have a strong team that every player fits the best one the other in order to endure the competition.
3700  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: June 22, 2019, 07:23:48 AM
I don't stress too much because now bitcoin grow, but i still wait to see altcoins growing as happen on 2017 and the problem is that still i didn't see any sign of bull run starting for altcoins, but possible will take way more.

Bitcoin is growing but it is not normal that altcoins are not growing.
If we won't face any increase in altcoins price in the next markets then I think that this huge growth in Bitcoin's price is going to move on the other direction as it goes now.
