Well, it seems that we have another coin who died that quickly.

Hello, world,

We may have some news pretty soon.

Stay FAILed!

Hey Spartak!  Cool

Hey, Mr. A. Wink I hope that your vacation was great. The summer here is over since 1th September. Sad

Vacation was stressful as no time to get on with projects, only lists of things to do in the home - grrrr! Never mind!  Roll Eyes

What's new and exciting then?  Smiley

Well.. we've had good conversations with some developers and maybe FAIL will have it's team (coders included) soon.

fail coin is true for name  Grin

3 days without volume but the 1 litoshi buy orders are still there!
Let's see what happens but I think that we need news to make the FAIL value higher!

Of course this is not a short-term project (IMAO) but it's obvious that to succeed interest have to be there and reflected on te volume, too.

We have had several lots of devs hired for this thing only to hear that the community has been 'scammed' followed by an announcement that "we will not FAIL!" - It's enough already and I think the order book is reflecting this.

Either we are going to the moon or we are all going to end up bagholders of Billions of essentially worthless coins. I hope the former but I suspect the latter if we don't get something moving soon. People aren't stupid - they know we have mined the shit out of this thing for months and months - hell I'm holding 4 Billion now lol We need to add value somehow and give them a reason to get onboard at 2 Litoshi and above.

Let's hope the next month or so is a good one for FAIL!

Maybe as a big holder you can help with something other than suggestions.

P.S. You have a lot more coins than batesresearch for example. He is here from the start.
P.S.2. I have about 10B coins, but mined ones are just 2.6B. I paid for the rest.

Can anyone help me i have 2 fury 1.3 mhs pointed at the pool but im only getting 157 khs on one miner and 166 khs on the other in the pool how do i increase the hashes?

I use A2 Terminator's and I am not familiar with Fury. Maybe you should lower the voltage (if you have that option)? Do you have web interface to control the miner?

im new 2 this idk but this is my settings
cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://fail.datalink.bg:4444 -u deeznutz.1 -p 4365 --nocheck-golden --chips-count 128 --ltc-clk 328 -S //./COM6

I don't think it's a problem from the pool, but try to point your miners to other pool and see if there is any difference.

Upgraded to 4.1.1.1, deleted peers.dat and blockchain, removed all nodes except 67.212.70.89 and reopened the wallet.  Every so often it gets stuck on a block for a few hours so I close the wallet and reopen it and it continues downloading the blockchain.

The concerning part is I have 11 EBT unconfirmed when I had over 500K.  My balance is 0, my stake is 0, just the 11 unconfirmed EBT.

I have the same issue...

Looks like ICO coins are the new trend. People are falling for ICO coins where the devs ask before delivering anything. Coin Devs that have never asked for anything but still deliver more than those ICO coins, are just not taken seriously.

Hey, if u need donation for some brilliant feature i know others will help. You have gain the trust of the community.

I seriously believe that the only problem with the coin is just advertising. We need more PR.

No it is not that. It is just how the trend passes on for altcoins. First the Litecoins, most coins that followed were a clone of litecoin, then DOGE, most coins that followed had max coins of over a billion and huge block rewards. Then the anonymity trend set by Darkcoin.
These were all trends.
Then a few months back coins got ninja launched with short POW for quick buck and had max coins in 1M-5M range. That was another trend.
And now it looks like ICO is the new trend.

ICO suck. Just that people fall for such crap. Other coins that have never asked for anything but have given much more are not getting noticed. It hurts cryptos as a whole. This trend will continue for a couple of months more and then some other crappy trend will start.

It's the people who are hurting cryptos, not devs. Devs just use what is general truth, and that truth is that people are generally sheeps. Most of the people involved in cryptocurrencies are LOSERS (as in life) and devs know it pretty good, because they already launched 10s of coins and have the experience. Many are just dreaming to become millionaires in couple of days, but in reality they are f*cked in the ass and instead thinking about it, they just say "Oh, well... maybe next time.".

Please read

Hi, thanks for all your support. We are indeed getting dumped hard. Reasons may be BTC crash, daily traders, traders shifting to the next "coin of the week". Would like to tell u all that we are very well on course. Such dumps do affect us a bit psychologically because we have put in a lot of effort in developing this coin and we have some big plans for the future. 2 of us haven't slept for like 30 hours at a stretch when developing a complicated feature or fixing a hardfork. No other coin at present have delivered more than us in short span of just 2 months. All coins that are currently having 100 BTC+ volume have not even delivered half of what we have done.

In a way it is good that the weak hands are getting out. We do not need them during our climb again. We could have a more consistent growth if the weak hands are out.
We were very well set to cross 5k last week but same crazy dude dumped 500k and completely ruined our momentum leaving us stranded in the shadows.

I request the community as well as the big bag holders to please cash out in small amounts if u need to. Huge dumps pretty much ruin everything because we are not yet well established. All coins are getting dumped but most of them have some huge whales backing them so they are able to recover from such dumps and get back volume.
We do not have that many whales. We are working on a lot of promotional stuff and doing our development at the same time.

We have always delivered what we said. I assure u all that we will go back much higher. We are now working on the P2P market. Then we will develop crytoxindia.com. SFRDirect after that and Project Orion initialization phase to follow.
In the mean time we are in talks with Unocoin and we could very well get an article published in Times of India, India's biggest newspaper company. Once a big country like India recognizes cryptos, it could be huge for us.

We are working very hard, please stick with us the way you have been from the start.

Thanks for reading,

Regards,

Roshan

I hold just over 170k SFR and I didn't sold anything, despite that I expected such dumps, because I can "read waves" and I know that "long term" is something that most of the people doesn't really care about those days. Like I already said - you need marketing (and multipool). You may work not 30, but 300 hours and accomplish nothing. The best advice which I can give you is to stop being only developers and put your marketing hat on. Smiley

P.S. I will continue to hold even if SFR reach 1 satoshi. Anything bellow 30k satoshi is pure robbery so I'd prefer losing every possible profit.

Last 5-7 days there is big panic in entire cryptoworld. I really believe that LTC will recover and that is why I invest only in scrypt coins. When 500MH+ ASICs are availible, diff. of LTC will skyrocket, LTC will become rare and the price naturally will rise.

P.S. Thank you for your kind words, franckuestein! We still keep trying to find developers and we will succeed.

Cheesy

The main problem of Scrypt coins like LTC is that they have too much mining power but low trading volume... miners sell and people don't invest... if money don't come to a market price is going to be always falling because miners are going to sell.

I think that Litecoin is going to recover, too. But... interest of investors have to return. Coin continues falling (from 7$ to 2$ e.g) let's see what happens but LTC market needs movement and i think that's going to move when BTC does it too.

Did you noticed that someone dumped $3.4M worth of BTC on BTC-e about 30 minutes ago and crashed the price to $309? Smiley

P.S. I don't think that $8.5M is low volume. Smiley Yeah, it is mostly because of dumpers, but like I said, LTC will become more rare and miners won't be able to dump so many coins. This can give advantage for buyers.

What if we try to hit a new exhange with BTC/FAIL pair?

Maybe could be great to gain some volume  Wink

We will hit new exchange, but paired with LTC at the start. BTC will be our next step, but it may take month or two.

And that is how a REAL investor should think and act. Those guys who spread FUD are used with coins which already died. Part of them want to invest $5 and turn them into a million in 2 days, the other part is happy with 0.5 BTC profit, waiting for some new coin to be launched and think they are smart. I'm not even close to masternode, but I own about 9k VIA and btcdrak has my 420MH in VIA network!

Revelation, I'm not really quite sure where you find your information about BTCdrak not being able to code or that he is "shady".  But you seem intent on disparaging him, so I'll chime in and let you know where I managed to get my information about him.

First I would like to disclose to the community that I am a large Viacoin holder.  I genuinely believe in the project.

I was fortunate enough to participate in the initial offering.  I stumbled across the ANN the day before the presale ended and managed to get 14 BTC in the presale.  I'd alerted my business partner to Viacoin, we had lunch and discussed the coin and he went on to contribute 75 BTC in the presale.

I'm a believer that the next generation of cryptocurrency would run off it's own blockchain because the limitations of BTC were obvious to me.  I read "The Story of Viacoin" on the Viacoin blog and it resonated with me enough that I was excited about this project.  I'll admit I was very concerned that the core developer chose to remain anonymous but as I read more in the forums I'd learned that Btcdrak was a veteran member with a strong reputation amongst both developers and traders, and it put my concerns of his identity at ease enough so that I wouldn't dismiss this coin and I decided to participate in the presale.  One thing I noticed was his attention to detail, and how professional and almost flawless the Viacoin presale went from beginning to end.  His execution was impressive, and in my mind this is one of the major things that I look for in an entepreneur / core dev. and intuitively I felt that if he executed like this on the presale, then it's more probable than not that he would hold that same standard to all of his work.  But more so, I never felt like I was being sold on Viacoin, it more felt like I stumbled on a gem, and Btcdrak was just doing his thing whether or not I invested, he didn't care.

So the presale happened, and within a couple of days a number of exchanges started picking up Viacoin, I think it was like 5 exchanges in 48 hours.  This was impressive.  Again, Btcdrak never promised anything and overdelivered.

Then a very fortunate event occurred.  I was interviewing developers for some projects that my partner (Otoh) and I were thinking of starting up in either the Viacoin or Darkcoin ecosystem (we are also large holders of Darkcoin).  Well, one of the programming candidates out of Croatia had told me he was an investor in Viacoin as well.  The candidate was a fairly strong developer having worked for over 20 years in software development, he had experience in Unix/Linux, PHP, Perl, Java, C, C++, he had previously worked at Blue Martini software, and he was a graduate from a top university in the US (superior to my alma mater UC Berkeley).  I came to find out he had worked with Btcdrak on various projects over the last decade and he said that he knew him in real life.  Being fully aware Btcdrak did not want his identity revealed I chose not to inquire, but I asked him what he thought about Btcdrak.  His response was pretty much that a.) Btcdrak was extremely fair and honest and b.) that he was a very strong programmer and incredibly smart.  He went on to tell me that when he realized that Btcdrak was the person behind Viacoin he chose to invest in the coin.  While we did not move forward with this candidate (as we were looking for someone with more mobile experience) we have stayed in touch and he's referred us other qualified developers, leading me to firmly believe he was reliable in what he said.

As a result of this fortunate discovery, my biggest major concern about this project had been resolved and what I had initially suspected about BTCdrak's level of work turned out to most likely be true.  A.) Because of the high praise of his integrity I didn't need to worry about his identity as it is extremely unlikely that this is a scam. and B.) He was a sharp individual and strong developer so I should feel confident that he will continue to overdeliver on this project.

As such, I decided to increase my position in Viacoin considerably.  And sure enough over the next few days Btcdrak announces hiring both Grynn San and then Peter Todd, again never promising, but overdelivering.

So Revelation, I'm not sure where you get your information about Btcdrak, but I thought I'd share with everyone where I got mine.  Also, for what it's worth, my partner and I don't make too many investments, but now when we do they are fairly considerable in size.  The last large investment we made was in Darkcoin where we acquired one of the largest stakes.  But we are not simply just coin holders.  We do a lot behind the scenes.  It turns out we were pretty much instrumental in why DRK was added to Bitfinex.  In addition to that, I introduced Evan Duffield to their legal counsel who is currently helping them structure the Darkcoin Foundation (which will soon be announced) of which I am a founding member.  We like to do everything we can to help our investments grow (and sometimes unfortunately things don't work out), and we'll happily offer the same help to Viacoin should Btcdrak or the community need anything.  But my gut tells me Btcdrak can handle all of this just fine.  He got this.

3698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RE-ANN] FAILCoin | DigiShield | Exchanges | New wallets on: August 13, 2014, 10:45:55 AM
This could be a fantastic opportunity to promote FAIL - LTC is crashing harder than ever and people are going to want a place to hedge their bets without selling off their LTC for FIAT.

If we could somehow get a promotion out there that this is the cheapest per-coin alt out there right now we could potentially get volume into our market other than sells.

No one is going to buy FAIL if all they see is red on Swisscex, we have to get the word out somehow that this truly is a damn bagain!

LTC is really crashing, but that will change by the end of the year. Big ASICs will make it harder to mine and eventually it can become rare almost as Bitcoin. We will make not only promotions, but much more. This can't be done without developers tho.. I am in touch with several devs and soon we will have news.
3699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIDEN | 1st to use sCrypt-OG (GPU Optimized) [UPDATE 0.8.6.5 REQUIRED!!!] on: August 13, 2014, 09:30:17 AM
Truth is that 10s of coins are created by 1-2 guys, create hype, dump them and then just copy some other fork and launch it with different name. defaced is right.. 99% of people are looking only at price. They just wait devs or community to raise it by themselves, sell with "profit" (which is often 0.05 - 0.1 BTC) and then leave. A coin can survive ONLY with pump (with multipool or BTC) and volume. Pump will raise price and will attract day traders. Smart ones are following waves (for example make their target, place sell order at 500 satoshi and then buy again at 400.. again an example) and that is how volume is created. Forget about fancy features etc... traders do not care about that.. only bagholders do.
