3681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy bitcoin with credit card on: January 12, 2020, 02:58:51 PM
is someone accept credit card as payment option for trading, I will like to buy bitcoin
There are a number of exchanges and websites where you can buy bitcoins with credit card but buying bitcoins with credit cards might be fatal to start trading. Credit cards charge you a percentage of fees for making any purchases and few peoples might find if beneficial because you can make higher profits by trading with bitcoins and can easy pay off those interest charged by the credit card companies but this is what might make you land into loss.

You really need to be a experienced trader in order to make fixed profits and buying bitcoins with a credit card is actually a risk for all the peoples who newly start trading because price change might also land you in loss and you might not even be able to pay the interest along with the principle which you borrowed from the credit card facility.
3682  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: US- Iran Tensions boost Bitcoin price to $24,000 on: January 12, 2020, 02:12:59 PM
Its just between Iran and US and some of the allied countries that backs Iran. if the conflict started to involve bigger countries like Russia, China, and Korea, start to fill up your bags and keep them safe, but still I would go for Gold because if you notice the price of Gold started to climb slowly when the conflict between Iran and US started to escalate.
What I think is that if bigger countries like Russia , China, etc are also involved in this conflict then the prices for gold, crude oil, minerals, etc might fall because in the war like situation most of the capital in required and for acquiring that capital those bigger nations might need to sell off their resources which might bring the price for those resources on the descending graph.

None of the country has profits from the war and all what is left behind are huge looses of life, resources, ammunition, etc which brings the economy temporarily down. The countries involved in the conflict has to cover up their losses in order to stabilize their economy again.
3683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons for traders to look at! on: January 12, 2020, 07:12:57 AM
There are risks in every investment, in order for us to gain profit we should handle the risks first. In cryptocurrency trading there are many risks, we cannot guarantee 100% winning rate because of the volatility of the cryptocurrencies. We can identify the perfect entries and exits in the market if we will use technical analysis but there are times that our biased did not get along, what I mean is loss is inevitable in trading.
If predicting loss was that easy I am sure none of the traders would actually have to undergo any losses. Peoples have different strategies which makes them able to trade and have profits and with deep TA we can really make sure we do not go for loss buy building exact entry and exit points for us but it might not always go according to our research.

Cryptocurrencies have a volatile nature and trading with them might give us huge profits as compared to forex trading but the amount of loss too remains constant because of their volatile nature the price can quickly move up as well as it can even move down at the same speed. Analyzing forex markets is easy and it might also give us profits because of them being centralized and those markets are not that volatile as the cryptocurrency markets.
3684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Iran again want to make some dirty things on: January 12, 2020, 06:24:56 AM
today I read the news that Iran has warned about "more serious revenge" against the United States. such statements are not some kind of joke and what exactly they can do?  Huh I believe that 2020 began very poorly if you look at it from a political point of view.
If the disagreements between the US and Iran will continue, this could end badly. How will this news affect the market? can they start to sharply raise bitcoin at the price? if bitcoin will grow fast, then altcoins will be even worse  Angry
This news should not affect the price for bitcoins but what I can see is the price is started to hike again. Price crosses $8000 and it might continue to rise in the coming time. But, I still do not think it is happening because of the news about the war like situation amongst the US and the Iran.

What I can understand according to the bollinger band strategy is that a price hike can be expected as the two lines have came closer and it might surge an dump or a pump and considering the current situations, I guess expecting bitcoins to reach $8500 might be something what is expected. Let's wait and see what these war like situations take bitcoins to.
3685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on my portfolio please on: January 12, 2020, 05:39:22 AM
I bought most of my holdings in the last few months and while I'm down about 15% I think I made a sound long term investment, any suggestions on whether I made a good choice? Smiley

You will get definite chances to "escape" only due to the reason of "you're planning for long-term". Yes, including bitcoin all the reported altcoins are only good when you are planning for long-term holding; in short-term anything may happen but when investors not hurrying to see profits then they can do better with this type of crypto portfolio.

I am also holding most of the coin you are holding. NPXS and BNB are not yet in my consideration; few months back I was in plan to invest with BNB then I had changed my mindset. Gas is something I have not analyzed yet. All the very best with your long term holding plans. Please update here about your progress time to time.
3686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting for the rise of all altcoins on: January 11, 2020, 02:54:14 PM
Instead of waiting for altcoins price to go up, maybe we should do something about what could make them go up. Just to give an example back in the day ethereum price went up as much as 1500 dollars, it wasn't because people bought ethereum to get rich, wasn't because traders thought eth will go up and they can sell high, no it was because people needed ethereum for other stuff.

You could have used ethereum for investing into ICO's, spending on Dapps, using for blockchain projects and even started to use it for trading as well on eth pairs getting more common. So instead of hoping people will buy altcoins so it can increase, maybe we should spend 2020 on finding ways to make people actually buy altcoins, starting with BNB and IEO's etc, that could be a good way to make people actually want to buy and use it instead of just buy and sell.
3687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am not lucky in trading - what am I doing wrong? on: January 11, 2020, 02:22:14 PM
That is literally what "chart readers" are doing and they are giving insane amount of suggestions and advises and predictions here. They look at what a coin did once before in history when something similar happened and assume it will do the same thing once again.

The biggest of the examples is that bitcoin did went up after the halving, a bit before and after and a lot after long while so they assume if they buy bitcoin now the price will be 3x in one year or something. I am sorry to say this but that is as possible to happen as not to happen as well. I will never understand why the people who actually think a crypto currency will do exactly the same thing it once did looking at the past and trying to predict the future, that is not how any of this works at all.
3688  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: January 11, 2020, 08:35:49 AM
I am not entirely sure if risking it that much is smart. I mean I understand the need on people to make as much money as possible, I would love to make as much money as possible as well, hell we are on a casinos topic right now proving that we all want to make money, however does risking that much money is the option?

I wouldn't personally use neither trading options nor leverage or anything else but I still think price will go up as well, I just buy bitcoins straight up and that is my gamble, maybe price will go down from this price and I will be wrong but that is a risk I can take with maximum couple thousand loss, on the other hand you leverage or use options and you have a chance to lose it all in a single second if it goes wrong way even a bit, that is not a risk I am willing to take.
3689  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: January 11, 2020, 07:41:55 AM
This week was a bit difficult because there were plenty of people I wasn't sure if they will play or not. Considering we have no clue who will play or not let me tell you what I think could happen.

I picked Mousset from Sheffield to score, obviously Aubameyang from Arsenal, Lewin from Everton, Abraham from Chelsea, Jimenez from Wolves (if he plays this is like a guarantee at this point), wasn't sure about mane or salah because I know they were at CAF award ceremony but if they are both here you can pick either, I went with Salah, if both are missing and anyone knows about it, Firminho is a good option. Of course on Watford I picked our boy from France, Sarr. None of these have been checked on "is he suspended, is he injured, will he play" parts of it, maybe they won't play, but these are high odds if they all play.
3690  Economy / Economics / Re: What is safe asset? And If USA dollar weakining what is Next Fiat? on: January 11, 2020, 06:36:09 AM
I do not really know which fiat is the best option, but based on a research I once did, the Norwegian krone is considered the fiat with the sturdiest fundamentals. If you compare it with other currencies that I have seen in the comment section like the British pounds, Japanese yen, euro, Canadian dollar, Singapore dollar and the rest, you will see that there are things that makes it safe in terms of global crisis.

To compare all these currencies we would start with their Central bank capital ratios, which Norway Central bank is among the highest with around 23%, above the others I have mentioned. If you talk about debt, their government has zero net debt, unlike the US government that owes a lot. So, don’t you think it should be your next choice?
3691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 10, 2020, 04:17:25 PM
Whenever a player that much important for a team has these kinds of injuries I can't help but feel sorry for the team and whats about to happen to them. They had a very good run of a season, they are probably the fourth best team right now even if they are at 6th spot (after lfc, city,Leicester) but with Kane gone I am pretty sure they won't be this good anymore.

Sure, they are a premier league team and even their bench (I don't even know who is Kane's bench, he has been a total ironman) is better than many many teams actual striker, hell probably few in their own league however the talent gap at the top and at around middle is so much that with Kane gone I don't feel so good about Spurs chance to go to Europe this season. Maybe could even drop under Wolves as well.
3692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 10, 2020, 03:00:18 PM
Seriously OKC beating rockets on Westbrooks return when Westbrook played with 50% is a big big shock to everyone, I know OKC is 7th seed and plays a decent game lately but felt like this could be the first of many losses that will set OKC back to what people expected, I guess not. Cavs versus Pistons wasn't really as weird as people imagine, I mean pistons lacking Griffin means all they have is Drummond who is a good player and a washed up Rose thats nowhere near his old self, Cavs are horrible as well but not like pistons were going for finals this year neither.

Sixers versus Celtics was the real dagger, I mean the game was not as close as the score looks, Sixers were reaaally good and I can't believe how amazing they played against a potential playoff rival. Portland one was simply condition problem, everyone looked horribly tired and that resulted with them losing easily.
3693  Economy / Economics / Re: World Economy and war situation and crypto on: January 10, 2020, 08:32:45 AM
Maybe we have managed to avoid this conflict but the war industry is still right there waiting for a war to happen to make more profits, that means a possibility of war will always be around the world. Look at USA for example, they are spending 750 billion dollars this year for financing military, do you think that goes to soldiers and relevant stuff? That goes to military industry that builds the weapons and missiles and airplanes, not the people who actually operate those things.

Look at all the military veterans, after the war is over and they came back most of them have to keep working in horrible conditions at bad jobs so they won't have to go back when there is another war and most of them live in PTSD. That is clearly means all those money goes to war companies and they want war, maybe not with Iran, maybe not now but that dooming fear will always be there.
3694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin never reaches a new ATH? on: January 10, 2020, 07:47:10 AM
If the price do go down you’re not going to lose all your money. As a Bitcoin investor you should know how much risk you’re able to take and avoid taking more than that.

You can keep your risk level at fifty percent % and when you invest and the price drops to the extent of losing that much you can then withdraw and wait for another time to invest it back. This is why as a Hodler you should always do proper research before buying Bitcoin, a wrong investment is going to make you regret ever investing in bitcoin, because after waiting for a long time and gaining nothing, it’s quite frustrating.
3695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 09, 2020, 03:47:16 PM
They are not exactly like Messi and Ronaldo, I feel like an old person now but those people are still playing the game today and maybe if you look at what Mane and Salah is doing right now you can compare them to Messi and Ronaldo however at their peak about 5 years ago or so (and even maybe further back) Ronaldo and Messi was different kind of beasts, they were just the greats players football has ever seen in their history, even at their current age they are playing as well as any other player right now and think of how amazing they were when they were playing their best games.

If you put Ronaldo and Messi into the same team and build a semi-decent other 9 players on the team, they would win every league, champions league and anything they play in every single year for a decade without losing a single cup.
3696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: January 09, 2020, 03:17:51 PM
I actually prefer altcoins these days, for two reasons. Firstly altcoins are easier to gamble and cheaper as well, when you gamble with 2 dogecoins you are not risking too much money and its much more fun, you have to bet with like 100 satoshi if you want to not risk too much bitcoins and that doesn't feel that comfortable, however I can gamble with many 100 litoshi and I could be gambling basically nothing at all and still have fun, so the price plays a big point in picking alts over btc.

Secondly I have too much useless and worthless coins right now, finding out there is a place I can gamble with that money gives them a purpose, I mostly lose all of them which is fine because I saw them as useless anyway but sometimes I win and just exchange it to bitcoin and withdraw.
3697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 09, 2020, 02:40:38 PM
There was too many things in the cup game that should be mentioned. First of all that corner goal from Toni Kroos was just insane, he put the goalkeeper in there as well, I know some players are capable of scoring goals from corner but we rarely see that happen in a real game when so much is on the line at the same time. Dude has been amazing for Real honestly.

What I would like to ask about supercopa is that, right now there is a semi-finals for it, normally in no nations super cup I have seen semi-finals, usually the league winner and cup winner plays each other and if they are the same team, cup finalist plays them again. For some reason last year they changed it to 4 teams instead of 2, does anyone know why? Plus they are playing in Saudi Arabia, that makes absolutely no sense at all, does anyone know why that one is?
3698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the price of Altcoin be good in 2020? on: January 09, 2020, 02:10:51 PM
It is already been just one week and many of the top coins has already made 10% profit in dollar terms, they are not looking great on bitcoin terms but since bitcoin went up so much thats fine, as long as they don't lose much value in bitcoin terms, they can lose a bit and still be in profit in dollar terms like whats going on right now.

I assume with what the halving going on and how some of the altcoins have important dates this year as well, at the end of the year almost all altcoins will worth slightly less in bitcoin terms or slightly more but we will have altcoins worth 50%+ more in dollar terms in 2020, that seems like a good possibility. I mean not saying that "will" happen but it looks like a good prediction that already has a start right now.
3699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: January 09, 2020, 01:29:45 PM
This has been one of the oldest problems ALL coins have faced in many many years. Back in the day there was no IEO no ICO and no nothing on previously funding a coin before they come out. You think someone paid litecoin funding to create it? There was no funding for LTC, nor ETH nor any other old coin honestly, it just released one day and start existing without any previous money required for it.

All of those coins were mined via their own wallets for weeks on out by people who got in early until real miners took over, and all that money we mined were standing in our hands waiting to be sold for weeks, as soon as that coin get listed anywhere, we rushed to create an account and sell it there right away dropping the price insanely. Now, it is 7-8 years later and we still do the same thing, just faster instead of waiting months for it.
3700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will any new project will do payment with ETH ? on: January 08, 2020, 04:47:52 PM
I guess nobody realizes that these ICO's or IEO's and what not get funded in ETH and mainly pay in ETH as well, that has been a thing forever and not something new, interesting to see it being discussed but people have argued that earth is not round for centuries now so why should we be surprised for something like this.

In the end even if it is not about ICO or anything, even if it is just bounty and could be any coin but eth is picked, that could be attributed to it being very easy to use, you could list hundreds of participants and send one payment from one place to hundred different people using very minimal fee's compared to bitcoin. It is a way whoever is sending the money can do it much faster and cheaper, however it doesn't change the fact that if it is bounty of ICO it is usually eth because they use the blockchain.
