I'm so busy looking at bearish formations I haven't even notice that BTC is attempting to complete an Inverse Head and Shoulder pattern (Bullish), be careful now as Bitcoin has previously formed and failed this one before it sends this back down to 6,400$. Now the current scenario is that MACD and RSI is on our side together with the pattern and it is heading over towards the bullish side, if Bitcoin goes above 10,000$ we might see BTC go up to 10,700$ and could potentially balloon up to 14,000$, but that target has the least chance of happening.
3682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ‘Bitcoin’ was the 9th most read article on Wikipedia in 2017 on: May 03, 2018, 06:22:03 PM
I'm not surprised that its more popular than Gal Gadot and The Rock, even though they have successful movies during that year its what's making the money more popular. BTC ended December with a bang and I think thats one of the reason why it became popular as even the mainstream media are showing news related to Bitcoin. That is why it made a lot of people curious on what it is, and of course their number one source of information by default would be Wikipedia. But don't be surprised if it won't retain it's spot as its popularity might slid down when majority of the people are aware of it.
3683  Economy / Economics / Re: The men behind our future! on: May 03, 2018, 05:04:53 PM
But you must also look that the technology you have mentioned become some kind of double edged sword for a considerable amount of people. With the discovery of the internet, mobile phones there comes social media websites, at first it was doing its thing making people interact with one another  but when the social websites grow it made people less socialize and worst made people become less productive. Some people think that this websites are enough for their entertainment but what is really happening is that too much of it is a distraction in your real life. So not all technology has positive effects some of it if abused will give you negative effects.

Wow that was quick Bitcoin in just broken out of a triangle and has increase to almost 250$ (9,200$ - 9450$) in just a little over 2 hours. And if Bitcoin is really bullish it will try and test out the 9,700$ resistance and if it is broken there's only one way and its up, up to 10,600$. Also altcoins in are generally bullish today which means that the market is now on a bullish territory. It is looking good for Bitcoin and it will be any day now when it will try and reach above 10,000$ and hopefully altcoins will follow.
3685  Other / Meta / Re: Request for a New Forum board "SCAM ALERT" on: May 03, 2018, 07:39:09 AM
How's that  thread being moderated? What are the basis of scam accusations Someone might drag anyone down by posting him there. If there are evidences then how will the moderator know if it's legit

Anyone making a scam accusation needs to use the format described in the sticky thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0 and include the relevant evidence.

Then the accused and anyone else interested can reply and challenge that evidence. It is down to anyone reading to then come to their own decision as to the validity of the claim. It is not the moderator's job to censor.

Sadly literally any DT member/s can tag the account if the accuser has convincing evidence towards the accused. And I don't think someone can be dragged down in something they haven't not done because the accuser needs sufficient and convincing evidence before even any member believe on what they are saying. And if someone gets tagged wrongly they will have the chance to defend themselves and getting the red tag off is possible as even though trust is not moderated DT members are fair to the system.
3686  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Top 5 safest Bitcoin and Altcoin wallet on: May 03, 2018, 05:22:18 AM
Why do I get the feeling that you just search something in google and compile yourself up with your own Top 5 list? Also all the description on your top 5 list can be seen in one google search. You don't even give any personal experience with the wallets in the list not to mention that the wallets you lack any description on why they are considered the "safest" at least on your own personal opinion. And yes even hardware wallets like your Ledger Nano S can be compromise even before you buy it.
3687  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 02, 2018, 05:54:23 PM
Bitcoin at its 4 hour chart is looking like completing a very Ugly Head and Shoulder position and by ugly I mean the left shoulder is considerably bigger than the right shoulder, not to mention that the right shoulder looks like a dislocated one. And the uglier the formations the less chance it will happen. But clearly if we don't want to see any kind of short happening BTC must stay above 8,907$ for at least 2 or 3 more candles to make the formation invalid. We are still inside the triangle and it may look like a now or never situation for the bulls to make a break out.
3688  Economy / Economics / Re: Firm aims to introduce bitcoin to PH on: May 02, 2018, 05:07:55 PM
A JAPANESE investor has partnered with a Filipino capitalist to form a company that will introduce bitcoin to Filipinos.
Introduce Bitcoin how? They haven't made clear on what kind of business they are talking about. Will they introduce it by way of issuing paid seminars or lessons or will they introduce it by having some kind of business related to cryptocurrencies?  I hope the news have focused more on what type of business they are planning to create because I don't think Philippines need further introduction as they already have two local Bitcoin wallets namely Coins.Ph as well as Rebit. And hopefully that this venture is not to take advantage of their Philippine counterpart as foreign companies are only limited to 40% of the corporation.
3689  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-05-02]Japanese Authorities Asked Crypto Exchanges to De-list Altcoins Lik on: May 02, 2018, 02:56:12 PM
As expected even though Japan has pushed on a regulated market they are actually strict on cryptocurrencies that are more anonymous compared to Bitcoin. The de-listing of this cryptocurrency shows that they are strictly preventing this currencies to be used in their own country. Criminal activities is what they are trying to avoid but I highly doubt that just by removing certain anonymous altcoins would be effective on their fight against them as they have not accounted other things such as wallets and 3rd party sellers of such coins.
3690  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Advice regarding refund from an Exchange(Bitlish)after a hacker got all my funds on: May 02, 2018, 01:19:54 PM
I have found no news that this exchange is hacked, so this would mean that this is isolated case.Probably you are victim of phisning or some sort of malware/RAT on your device who came into possession of your login details and stole your funds.

After you submit ticket to their support they just want to be sure that you are the real owner of that account,so this is something you should do in my opinion. They will maybe conduct some kind of investigation to find out who is hacker.

In my opinion there are three possible causes which caused the loss of your funds :

- You are victim of phishing/malware.
- There is a security flaw in exchange system.
- This was inside job.

If it's the first case then it is not realistic to expect a refund, obviously it is the user's failure. In case the loss of funds came due second or third option, you can hope for refund-but in that case you will have to prove that this is exactly what it is happened.
Definitely, you don't have any right to claim any recover or even damages as the hacked was made possible to your own mistakes. Seeing that you are the only one affected proves that the hack only has targeted you and not the whole exchange itself. 60$ is a lot of money but I wouldn't go through legal proceeding as it won't be worth it as it is only a few bucks to consider it in that procedure.

As for you providing your proof of identity to them all I can say is legal and other exchanges are doing it as well, some exchanges even limit your account if yours is not verified. Sending your proper documents would help them identify you as the right owner of the account.
3691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin merchants help to keep our identity private? on: May 02, 2018, 11:39:52 AM
We are split on this one. One group still wants to have anonymity in their transactions while the other group knows that if we want Bitcoin to be accepted more we want to sacrifice that feature of these cryptocurrecies. Crytocurrency as a payment method needs to be tracked and the users be identified in order for it to be allowable in a larger scale of acceptance. I don't even know why some consumers still wants to be anonymous on something, as if they are buying on illegal drugs with it.
3692  Economy / Economics / Re: will the worlds society now be flooded eternaly with icos? on: May 02, 2018, 09:34:28 AM
If some kind of regulation on ICOs took place similar on what we are having with Initial Public Offering (IPOs) of Companies then we won't be flooded by this "Propaganda Coins" right now we are seeing a lot of tokens and a bunch of them have the same offering or features, it is like they are a copy of one another but they are claiming that they are better. If we have a regulation provided by the government this ICOs will be limited and only a few will make it out and available in the market. Also having a regulation and laws would likely to happen as governments will see that this would be necessary to provide security to their citizens.
3693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's going up, will going down later on: May 02, 2018, 07:36:08 AM
I simply don't believe in this kind of principle, this is the belief system of people with the lines of this "Oh BTC is 9,500$ but it will still go down to 6,000$" this people believing something will later go down do not really have a plan as they are just sometimes hoping or something to fall, that even if it falls to the price they want because of its low price they are afraid that it might still fall. Also look at prices of stocks of company even though they are going down, the price of the stock is always a reflection of the company's performance.  And hoping that company will go down when it is performing well is simply stupid and a waste of time. Now believing that BTC will down to an unbelievable price is being like that stupid guy.
3694  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Bitcoin Casino | Plinko, Mines, Blackjack, Roulette + 8 more 👽 on: May 01, 2018, 05:29:50 PM
regarding Monero, they hardforked into several different coins now
it seems that they are trying to keep it as much ASIC resistant as possible
therefore I expect most of the sites revoke their support of this coin-too much of a headache
so much for  totally anonymous gambling...

Have you ever actually tried using Monero before? I like the devs and everything but the software is buggy.

I don't think it's a good addition. The site will have constant issues with their daemon.

The fees are also relatively high for a network that isn't quite full.

If you looked at the other sites which offer XMR as a deposit coin you will notice that the customers always complain about issues with their deposits and withdrawals.

Even I think it was Bitsler which used it before and they decided to remove it.

no,I don't usually bet with Monero, particularly for the reasons you have mentioned
it is fine if you want to remain as anonymous as possible, but getting +100 to headache is not my cup of tea,
there are many coins that have no such a history of being problematic
and yeah,Bitsler did remove it in their recent update, think cryptogames are eyeing the same move to be honest

Changes:

- Recently the cryptocurrency named Monero (XMR) underwent a hard fork and split into multiple coins. BitSler does not plan to support any of the hard forked coins.
Monero will be removed from the available coins on BitSler, If you have a Monero balance please withdraw it before the update.
The players unable to withdraw their XMR prior to 04/26 update may contact the support.
Staff will credit the accounts with any other currency available on Bitsler.
Yes they have recently removed XMR as one of the playable cryptos in their website but in return they have added two other cryptocurrencies namely NEO and Stratis which are also growing in audience right now, and I would suggest that aside from ETH and Bitcoin Cash they must also take a look at these two due to its popularity to traders. Taking a look to what the competition is accepting is a good way to find out what cryptocurrency to add next.
3695  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-30] UNICEF Uses Mining of Crypto to Help Children on: May 01, 2018, 11:28:54 AM
Quote
UNICEF Australia to be used for help vulnerable children worldwide with life-saving supplies such as safe drinking water, food and vaccines.
It is good to see that they are taking advantage of the free will of other people by lending them their processing power to mine but it will also be good to see if they provide some kind of transparency on what is going on. From how much crypto they have earned to how much of it has been converted to Fiat and of course to where the money is being spended.

In relation to the quoted paragraph of the article, I think that aside from giving supplies that can only provide help temporarily, I think giving jobs to their parents and providings ways to develop their own food and water is a good long term solution that can be done by using their earned funds.
3696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 30, 2018, 02:34:20 PM
Good thing to see that Bitcoin is bouncing after touching the small up trend channel, and right now it is getting bullish at its get for a long time as it also has voided a head and shoulder formation by breaking the right shoulder. Confirming this small up trend is the way BTC bounce above over 9,100$ which is really big. What I am seeing is Bitcoin's biggest hurdle is going back above 9,500$ after that happens we might see Bitcoin go above 10,000$. Mid term target is about 10,600$ - 10,800$ which is achievable within a weeks or so.
3697  Economy / Economics / Re: USA Cuts 'Global Warming' Gases Faster Than Anyone, Media Ignores It on: April 30, 2018, 11:32:17 AM
So a lesser production of emissions means that U.S. can go all out producing more than ever? Even if they have produced lesser pollution they are still one of the 2 (the other one is China) countries producing more than half of the World's gas emissions which is really big. And having less jobs for their country cannot justify them skipping or cancelling the agreement which they co-signed and agreed upon by other countries. And mind you Trump will cut ties as early as they can , which China isn't even planning to do so. This shows a selfish act of an already developed country.
3698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coindesk and its drama on: April 29, 2018, 04:56:10 PM
They can't even be counted as a news creating site as their news being produce comes from other "unreliable" sites. They always have that feel on it, they will put unrelated images on their topics just to have a thumbnail being shown when shared on a social media.  I mean look at their news about ICOs in Canada, they just posted a picture of a Canadian flag (which potentially been grabbed on the internet. Just my opinion but going to these news curators wouldn't be even my last source of news if want to know what is real and true as they almost all the time mislead the readers.
3699  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁NEW UPDATE★★★50% REFERRAL COMMISSION★★★🎁 on: April 29, 2018, 03:32:16 PM
Good news. The affiliate commission will be upgraded to 50% for a whole month. This is an amazing offer and sure we can start to refer as many users as we can from now on. Don't waste this good opportunity!

Good luck with the update and wish everything will run as expected!
This promotion will start old and mostly the new members on inviting a lot of people not only their friends as they would take advantage of the temporary increase in the referral commission. I remembered it last time Bitsler has run this kind of increase in the commissions and almost everyone is hoping that they extend or even make the rates permanent which is a wishful thinking or us members. But making that rate permanent is not a sustainable thing to do for Bitsler as it is a lot to give for their members.
3700  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin x banks on: April 29, 2018, 01:15:33 PM
People for some time know thinks that Bitcoin can compete to the business of banks are offering, well your wrong about it. Exactly what Bitcoin can offer that banks couldn't? The only notable thing is of course the ability to earn from your own money but other than that I cannot see Bitcoin as a threat to their main business which is lending their money. Banks aside from storing your money in pay of little interest are also loaning out your money for a bigger interest. Their business is guaranteed profit as if the loanee does not have the ability to pay their debt then the banks have the right to claim their property as collateral.
