If Bitcoin is really a new miner's target you don't have to buy special equipment to mine BTC, there is another way around all this, buy a graphic card, from 400$ to 1500$ you can get yourself a good Graphic card or more if you can but my point here is you dont have to spend thousands of dollars on BTC miners aka Asic miners, get GPU and use Nicehash pool, get paid in BTC every 4 hours.
Done are the days where you can profitably mine bitcoin using a graphics card. Today, you're just going to lose a crap ton of money (unless you have free electricity or something). Either you go with ASICS, or go mine something else and just exchange the mined coins into BTC. |

Lol this is something I've been annoyed at a lot of times now when talking about Satoshi.
Sometimes I mention he/she/they (can be such a hassle when mentioning it multiple times) when talking to newbies to give more emphasis on Satoshi's anonymity, but really — in general I just mostly use "he" simply because Satoshi is a masculine name. Because most of us here know that we don't know who he/she/they is/are (here we go again) anyway.

For a 1.5% commission, I'd rather do things myself regardless if it can be a hassle. 1.5% might look small especially in a per-buy-transaction basis, but that's something you're going to notice affecting your stack some time in the far future.

I love Satoshi because he was a great mentor i have never see in the whole world, for building a great family like this, that will produce future president's of different countries and senators that will make this decentralized currency fully legalized in the whole world.
By definition, a mentor is mostly someone who can give you advice and is someone you can personally consult. By your definition — especially knowing that you're talking about Satoshi himself (whom you most probably never talked to), you're describing more of an inspiration or role model, than a "mentor". |

This might be good news, because a big portion of those stablecoins might get converted back to BTC, when the bloodbath is over and the market goes into another bull run.
If this was in 2016-2018 I'd agree, but we already have USDC and USDT. The only reason they'd convert to BTC is if they think that it would go up, in which they'd already be holding BTC if they actually think that. I hear rumors that Tether might cause next big cryptocurrency price crash, but this might be just some FUDsters trying to spread panic.

Just a heads up — totally appreciate the enthusiasm and it's good that you're going to teach finance, but you should probably heavily focus on finance and investing first, before going for cryptocurrencies. Really, crypto can wait — as it's not like they have thousands and thousands to put into the markets already anyway.

After all either market crashes or it goes up and all of us has to do is one god dam thing, you just hodl your crypto tight, either move them to stable coin economy to stop the losses.
I'd go with a different advice and tell people to actually think twice or thrice about the 'crypto' they actually bought — if they actually do something decent, or if it's just your typical useless yet overpriced cryptocurrency. They need to sober up sooner or later, unless they want the markets itself to sober them up by teaching them a hard lesson. |

Hiding your IP helps a bit, but it's just the tip of the iceberg when talking about security. Still, the most important part of a person's opsec is his/her brain (despite how corny and cliche it sounds). I really don't remember the last time I got hacked/scammed.

It can technically work, but what's the point of using your service if your users can use other existing full-fledged platforms such as Binance? Building such a platform will be so easier than building an exchange from scratch, but doing it that way is going to limit you platform so so much due to lack of features.

Depends entirely what you can offering. If you can do your job, but accept Bitcoin, i.e development work. You could very well be in a better situation to escape inflation. So, while your advice is good, since it probably does apply to most people that are working for other people, if you can work for yourself using your skills, and transfer them to Bitcoin, I'd say you have a better chance of escaping the rat race, due to that inflation.
So, while it still might not make you rich, you're right. You could be in a better position than you were using fiat. Obviously, its not a guarantee as with anything in life.
Yea precisely — bitcoin(or any good asset investments in general) should give you a decent boost with your wealth assuming you picked good assets; but they're not what's necessarily going to make you rich. I always make this clear as a lot of people are just betting that bitcoin/crypto is their only way out of poverty/hardships. |

Presumably due to bitcoin having a stable and predictable supply issuance, compared to ethereum's which is mostly dependent on usage. Being heavily adopted by retail being better vs being adopted by institutions is totally objective, but keep your facts straight. |

Sorry to burst your bubble and not to discourage you — but chances are, crypto isn't going to make you rich. Unless your goal is to be a good trader, investing in general is mostly not what's going to break you out of poverty(or financial problems in general); having a good job or having a business with good cashflow will.

As far as I know by default may tax naman talaga, since almost kahit ano naman atang 'income' is under income tax. Ang tanong lang is kung magbibigay sila ng separate tax rates for cryptocurrencies.
As for rug pulls and bad investments — pag sa ibang bansa, as far as I know under tax loss ung rug pulls at ung bad investments/trades in general, so may parang bawas. Kaya may mga mautak talaga sa finances na nagcclose sila ng bad trades para sa tinatawag na "tax loss harvesting". Not sure dito sa Pinas though.

Criticism is almost inevitable in whatever you do, inside and outside Bitcointalk. If you're going to give up just because you're being criticized(regardless if you deserve it or not), then you ain't getting anywhere. If you're going to surround yourself solely with people that are just going to agree with you or what you're doing, you're going to fail catastrophically.
