3681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: December 09, 2017, 06:52:13 AM
There are pointers on how to play gambling in a smart way and one of the best pointer is play with your free money. Following this pointer will make you gamble and have fun at the same time.  It will not affect your family negatively and will always save you from being broke.  Most gambler failed to practice this kind of stuff and get broke since they spend all their money in gamlbing.

No pointer will ever make us gamble smartly because the only thing that is smart is not to gamble. If we gamble and we lose then that is not smart at all. It is better to just invest our money in a gambling website that is smart . If we are still playing for profit even with all those pointers , I dont see how that is called as gambling in smart way
Agreed when one of the factors in gambling is Luck surely your plan or strategy won't be followed as if luck is not on your side it will only disrupt your plan. But one of the most smartest strategy out their is being satisfied with what you win and pulling out or cashing out as early as you can to be not tempted in betting anymore, yes it is about controlling yourself and let us not let losing in gambling cloud our judgement because we might end up risking more of our money.
3682  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKINGS - bitcoin only poker site on: December 09, 2017, 05:15:03 AM
without bots its so boring, i have no hobbys xD

What do you mean? This game is not suppose to have bot, how are you going to play with some bot? Yes of course, this will be some gold mine to some people but do you think it will be nice to play? This is not something that you will get everyday and what is the point of playing if there is no fun at all?

its better than no one play

Do you know that bot can even defeat pro poker gambler? And of coursr they do not intend to have this bot but slowly they are going to make this game attractive by input some data on their bot so they will learn new things. And btw what is the point of having no one to play? They will still better play with some bot rather that no one
I don't think playing with Bots in poker is a good idea, how can we have any assurance that the poker game is fair if you are letting Bots inside your game? I mean they are part of the game's system which means they will know what card you have and if they have a stronger or weaker hand than yours?  If I will be in a poker game I would surely only enter a table where all of the players are human players like me. It is not a matter of trust but I won't play comfortably if they are bots in my table.
3683  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-07] Cryptocurrency VS Fiat Money on: December 08, 2017, 10:42:59 AM
We cannot have 2 kinds of currency that is cosidered legal in a country as it can have a bad effect in an economical standpoint. By making it a legal tender you are binding it to your country's economy. Think of is this way fo you want a foreigner having a big influence on both your currency and your economy? Of course not because your future are in their hands. Amd right now Bitcoin has many holders from many country making it hard to adapt, we can still accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment.
3684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose transaction fee amounts on: December 08, 2017, 10:16:15 AM
What is the name of your wallet provider? Usually some wallets like CoinBase will give you an option of what transfer fee you prefer before sending the amount to the address. And how much the transfer fee will depend on how many bytes amd also how many transactions are happening at that time. Also if you are sending to the sam wallet provider e.g. CoinBase to CoinBase it would be free and instant.
3685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need some gambling strategies on: December 08, 2017, 09:14:36 AM
I agree that luck is one of the main factors in winning and making profits in gambling. But when you think of it luvk can run out and if you don't know hot to stop and be satisfied with your winnings you will always lose all your winnings in the end. I myself when I am betting I don't always try to extend with my luck and try to be satisfied with my winnings and withdraw it as fast as I can in order not to be tempted to bet again.
3686  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there any good news about Bitcoin from your country? on: December 08, 2017, 08:58:18 AM
Here in the Philippines I don't here a lot of "good news" about it as all I here from our Central Bank are warnings about how many scams are related on Bitcoin payment. So I guess it is a bit of a good news for us users as the government is not preventing us to use Bitcoin. We also have out own local wallet provider which we are required to be verified in order to buy and sell more.
3687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The price is out of control on: December 08, 2017, 07:41:42 AM
This is one of the bad effects of Bitcoin entering into a new all time high. Every time Bitcoin goes up the buyer's confidence goes down as we are entering into uncharted territories again. But basing it on the charts the price increase is also supported by a healthy volume which means we know that is not getting played by some whales as small players are also participating and buying even at this price point. Remember if you are not sure with the price you can always check its charts.
3688  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Can Be A Savior! on: December 08, 2017, 05:56:28 AM
Please do not interchange the words "Trading" and "Investing" ever again, as they are totally different ways of creating profit (or loss). Trading is mostly based on Technical Analysis and a mix of news and speculation which Bitcoin belongs as this is what you do, more specifically trading is suited for taking profit in the short terms. Investing in the other hand is about Fundamental Analysis which you based your buying and selling decisions on the company's financial performance which you won't get from Bitcoin.
3689  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the the Big Short coming? on: December 08, 2017, 05:32:06 AM
It is now a common practice in Bitcoin on what you are talking about. Selling at the top and then buying at the bottomed out price is the most common practice for big players in maximizing there Bitcoin profit. Now us small players have to do is to take advantage of it (while some people don't actually do anything with it) we can participate in the selling and also buying Bitcoin at the cheapest price possible. Right now I am going long as the price action of Bitcoin is actually a tremendous one.
3690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 08, 2017, 04:43:16 AM
A needed win for the Minnesota Timberwolves as they defeated the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center, bringing them back up at 4th place in the West. They are surpassing the expectations of many as they have thought that the Oklahoma City Thunder will be a better team compared to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Right now only the Rockets, Warriors, and San Antonio Spurs are ahead of them. They need to beat them in the upcoming games in order to show them what they have, I still have some concerns with how the minutes is distributed as the Starters are currently playing more than 35 minutes a game.
I liked how the Timberwolves played last season.
And all the announcer could say is how a young team they were but talented and just needed time to grow and get to know one another so they can play better "as a team".

I think I will put them to win tonight as a long shot as my bet last night for the Kings and Bulls to win their long shot picks did not prevail.
When you think of it isn't that two of the five starters are only considered the young ones namely Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns? The other 3 are seasoned veterans which have all experienced playoffs and two of them have became all stars in the Eastern Conference. They are playing a new kind of basketball in Target Center one that they haven't seen for a very long time. Being on the top half in the West is truly an amazing thing to see for the Minnesota Fans out there.
3691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know when to sell? on: December 08, 2017, 04:11:01 AM
The most basic way to know when to sell is when the price is near its resistance or on it as it maybe trying to penetrate the resistance as when this happen you know that Bitcoin is trying to have a new all time high but if it fails you can take profit before it goes to another correction. Now suppose that it does not have any resistance as it is on a up trend the best time to sell is when you are satisfied with your earnings or maybe set up a target price in order for you to know that when it is reached you may now sell.
3692  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-06] Over 10,000 People Have Downloaded Fake Cryptocurrency Apps on: December 08, 2017, 03:32:24 AM
This is alarming as people with money on their exchange account will be affected in a bad way. Usually creating your own app is easy and if you are an android user uploading your app won't be a problem because their is a little to none screening process that is happening. This kind of apps that are built to become Phishing system for them is really bad for people who are easily fooled, my advice is if you are on a mobile you really need to sacrifice and use the main website and if you are downloading an app use the links that the Exchange sites are providing usually the apk that they will provide will be an official one.
3693  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has turned into a scam coin on: December 07, 2017, 09:41:42 PM
Wow a "shit coin" that is worth 15500$ is really a big statement. Judging bitcoin based on its transaction speed is kinda a bad way to judge Bitcoin because Bitcoin has a lot to offer and obviously a lot of people are in need of sending and receiving Bitcoin that is why the transfers slowed down. And why will it be a scam coin if you will still receive your Bitcoin just not at the speed that you wanted. Obviously right now you are feeling mad as you have expected your Bitcoins to early. Maybe trying one of those Transaction Accelerators can help you.
3694  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: December 07, 2017, 06:14:02 PM
Nope. Teaching them Bitcoin won't make them learn saving money as it is not one of the main effects of Bitcoin. Saving can be generally thought by you, on both of your cousins which one of them is doing well in saving, my suggestion is for you to limit the money you give to them strictly giving them just enough space to save. By this technique they will know the importance of money and at the same time maximize the money they already have, making them learn the hard way can be huge for the both of them. The good thing about this is it can lead them to having an interest in investing.
3695  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: NEW Trading strategy for 10th DEC and Beyond ? on: December 07, 2017, 04:06:30 PM
Seeing how the month of December affected last year where it has recovered backed to a slump is showing us yet again another amazing price movement. But this time I am both happy and worried as just like what TravelMug have said we are now entering into an uncharted territory for all of us users. With this kind of prices most of us are questioning ourselves if we should sell now or wait until it starts to fall again. So my advice is if we are satisfied with our gains then there is no best time to sell but now.
3696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC HOLD or SELL? on: December 07, 2017, 07:39:14 AM
It's funny how a person can obtain large amounts of Bitcoin yet they don't know how to have their own exit plan. Now assuming that if you really have 70 BTC in your wallet wouldn't it be bad for you to listen someone else's advice that came from the internet? As you will receive a lot of different answer for just one question. If I were you I'll start to study technical analysis and at the same time create my own strategy from buying to selling in order for you to become an independent trader.
3697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: December 06, 2017, 10:40:05 PM
We don't actually "need" it as it is really does not add anything essential to our life and we can live without it. The part that makes us think that we "need" it is actually within us because it gives us entertainment and the thrill of winning the game and of course earning some money. Now if you are asking this question because you feel like stopping and or you feel addicted to the game you can stop anytime and don't lose any money at all. Your family and social activities can help you stray away from gambling.
3698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: December 06, 2017, 03:39:39 PM
Trading is different from gambling as in trading you can actually lessen your risk with the proper technical analysis of its price charts. Speculating on the otherhand is more of like a gambling as this is buying and holding something without basis on the price charts but only through hype and news which is a really bad way because it is too risky. Trading is really not gambling as what people think it is because you can save your capital even if the prices decrease.
3699  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKINGS - bitcoin only poker site on: December 06, 2017, 12:41:52 PM
The only disadvantage of this poker site is that there are usually not enough players to play.I was trying to join a sit n go and had to wait about 3 hours before the game starts, but when it just started I had to go because I was sitting at the computer for too long and my eyes were started getting dry.Anyway if you had more players to play with I think that it could be one of the best poker sites around, you should start making hard advertisement to gain more attraction
If only BTCKINGS have enough money to advertise their site and also have a dedicated staff this site would be a hit as it is the only website I know that used Bitcoin as a mode of betting in poker. Lack of players is really an issue for games that require a lot of players yes the game is popular but if the website is not known then it won't be successful. Maybe that is why I don't see any Fantasy Games like Basketball, Hockey, or Football that accepts purely Bitcoin, because you are narrowing an already small market.
3700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: December 06, 2017, 09:46:48 AM
I just read an article on mainstream press that investing in bitcoin and cryptocurrency trading is like gambling. Crazy the fud that the media is spreading because they are scared of what comes. These people, that wrote the article, will look really dumb in the near future - oh wait, they do already!
But trading and gambling have different mechanism, even though that's 50:50 chance. I think, those people who writes that article already lose at trading and make "nonsense" opinion about trading which is clearly wrong.

yes, gambling and trading is different, Gambling is pure a luck and trading we need predict on the market.
and gambling is have high risk than trading.

Predicting market is nothing but guessing game so trading is also not so easy job for everyone. There are plenty of people who have lost a lot of money in trading so you need to be very careful particularly if you doing a day trading because no one can guess prices accurately for short-term point of view. Don't ever leverage more money to do a day trading.
Trading is very different from gambling as you can't really adjust anything unlike gambling where you can adjust your odds and risk are. Also when you think of it in trading you cannot double your money as you are not betting you are holding something in the hopes of it will rise in value over time. As for the statement "trading is like gambling" it is because we are really gambling in the world of cryptocurrency as we are only speculating that the price of Bitcoin will go up in value.
