3681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tone Vays channel deleted from youtube on: April 17, 2020, 06:27:29 AM
It's just unfortunate that the large centralized companies don't specifically mention what rules were violated. That is not really transparency.

And it's unfortunate that the popular crypto people don't consider using the decentralized alternatives. So how do we help in this matter now if the alternatives are hardly tolerated or patronized. Almost everything (whether good or bad) is called sh**coin thesedays. What reasonable advice can the real community  render that will be considered now?
Well, I guess he could try his best to convince youtube, but I don't honestly expect a centralized company to listen to unfairly treated users. I would just try the safe alternatives or maybe the court?
3682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi only another type of scam? on: April 17, 2020, 06:00:23 AM
The deception(whether intentional or not) is one of the reasons I avoid the platform for now. You don't call something decentralized when it clearly isn't really decentralized. I saw something quite interesting which should be tried: the Defi, Cefi and Hybrid.
Projects on Defi that claim to be decentralized should be verified  by the community and pushed to any of the three (defi, cefi and hybrid) or to where they deserve to be. If those pushed to Cefi have plans to decentralized in the future they should still remain on cefi until they truely become decentralized and then be brought back to Defi.
I wouldn't mind seeing only few truely decentralized project on defi. It's way better than the current confusion.

One or few people are probably trying to bring sanity, from my observation but the "problems" are probably fighting back
3683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko? on: April 17, 2020, 05:35:56 AM
For example, I heard lot that P2PB2B is one of the bullshit exchanges because it has fake volume, but why on coinmarketcap can in the top 3?
Whereas on Coingecko P2PB2B is ranked 114, Does coingecko know if it's bullshit exchange? so it's not in the top 3 like in coin marketcap

So which one do you trust more?

I definitely wish we could have agreed Blockchain standards for ranking these projects and not just rank things as anyone wishes. So I wouldn't judge the P2PB2B yet until we have agreed standards or rules to judge them with.
Besides, there are some projects at the top I don't believe deserve to be there. They are not really decentralized or safe in my opinion.
Projects that deserve to be at the top should probably be anti-fragile/well-decentralized/very safe, useful, easy-to-use, etc

3684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A COVID-19 Blockchan app without compromise on: April 17, 2020, 05:05:31 AM
I wish anyone could fund and contribute to the development of things like this.
Am abit suspicious of projects that are not built from start to finish by the people. This is why I tend to trust well decentralized project built in Crypto space transparently and without unnecessary restrictions.
3685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: April 16, 2020, 10:41:12 AM
If anyone was in Bitvest for the past 2 or 3 days then you will witness one user there just destroy everybody's bitcoin investment (including mine that lost 10% for 2 consecutive days,,, amazing win I read that he got 20 btc profit and then he rained 2 BTC on everybody in chat. Biggest rain I ever seen in US dollar worth!

Interesting. I guess I saw a discussion concerning the win on Bitvest thread yesterday. Didn't fully understand what they were talking about. Your post make things clear now.
What a generous winner. I heard big winners dash some of their wins too on physical betting centers, but this surprised me more.

Really nice thing to hear!
3686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free poke hud on: April 16, 2020, 09:56:22 AM
You should try changing the "poke" on your topic to poker. I guess that is a typo, or can they be used interchangeably?
Interesting information I found about Poker Hud. Hope things like that only really focus on players past poker activities and not gathering sensitive info about players.
So you basically offer yours for free? What exactly do you benefit from offering it for free? Do you own the poker site or they pay you to promote?
3687  Economy / Gambling / Re: blockchain loto on: April 16, 2020, 09:11:27 AM
Oh, you "pay" with tether and not typical cryptocoins? Do you accept only that too?
What link are you referring to?  Can't find any clickable link there.
I like the idea of "Blockchain lotto". I guess it's not really decentralized despite the name "Blockchain". Well, hopefully you have the provable fair feature implemented
3688  Other / Off-topic / Re: The truth about GOD asking Abraham to sacrifice his child on: April 16, 2020, 08:36:43 AM
If I were Abraham, I would have said "F. U. Yahweh. I don't want your blessings. I'm not going to murder my son just to make you feel superior. That's pure evil.".

Let me ask you, if God ordered you to murder someone, why wouldn't you question your faith?

By the way, assuming it's your job(empowered by the law) to kill, would you spare a dangerous criminal (who is hardened and very determined to destroy societies) if a judge/law compels you to kill the criminal?

3689  Other / Off-topic / Re: The truth about GOD asking Abraham to sacrifice his child on: April 16, 2020, 08:26:56 AM

If the law demands that a dangerous criminal be destroyed, it will be lawless to violate that law. GOD is limitlessly more superior to any law. HE is the perfect JUDGE and knows what the dangerous criminal/criminals are capable of if they remain unchecked.

If HE asks me to destroy someone who will blow up our planet tommorow, I believe he will make me see reason why the evil person need to be destroyed. HE will never destroy the innocents. I have read in the Bible where people who disobeyed the order of the ALMIGHTY GOD to destroy evil people where tormented by evil they refused to destroy.

Abraham most likely knew he was being tested by GOD hence the use of the words "GOD will provide what we will use for the sacrifice" when confronted by his son. A holy man will hardly lie to people. So, he knew GOD will truely provide and never hurt an innocent child. It's against GOD's nature... compare to the devil.

3690  Other / Off-topic / Re: Change my mind on: April 16, 2020, 08:02:40 AM
Well, this is one of the reasons we need properly decentralized crypto to monitor, check and balance the governments to prevent them from printing money lawlessly.
So, you don't blame decentralized crypto too much for this.

I think a day will come when it would be considered unsafe or risky to mix properly decentralized crypto with the centralized world/crypto. Before you mix with them, they will have to prove that their centralized stuff is fraud proof and secure. I believe some will have no option than to decentralize in order to mix with the real thing.

I think this ^ is one of the most reasonablle thing to do if you want a decentralized crypto to remain safe
3691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can go to proof of stake after they see how ethereum goes on: April 15, 2020, 06:24:47 PM
The most important thing is to develop something that is hard to attack without sacrificing on the ideals of decentralization.
I think there are some ways the proposed PoS and the current PoW could be successful attacked. Both could easily be attacked in serious crisis when most people are distracted or when tyranny and lawlessness reigns globally
3692  Other / Off-topic / Re: Some weird and wonderful historical forum threads - Take a look on: April 15, 2020, 05:12:55 PM
I like what I read here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2655.20 ("His point was that this would devalue the Bitcoin overnight as everyone moved to the new currency.")
I think this is abit similar to the argument that having multiple cryptocoins will kind of cause inflation or something... more like how they said that lack of central bank and presence of multiple" non-central banks" many decades ago in US (I think) caused inflation.
3693  Other / Off-topic / The truth about GOD asking Abraham to sacrifice his child on: April 15, 2020, 04:40:30 PM
It's one of the "problems" that turned my away from GOD back then I was in rebellious state.
Then HE revealed to me few months ago what that means or signifies... It signifies that HE will send us HIS Son (JESUS) to die for our sin. That son represents the ram that was eventually sacrificed by Abraham. HE was never trying to sacrifice Abraham's son. HE is not a selfish GOD. HE leads by example thus provided HIS own son to be sacrificed in the future.

GOD hid that story (just like many others in old testament) in "cryptic" form on how he will save the world through his SON. I believe he hid it from the blind and for the future.

You can find the story here (Genesis 22): https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis+22&version=NIV

Or listen to Audio "Book of Genesis" for the story:  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EiXQmeuHTOY&list=PLIxhnx0kb33ORn8RQgHH54rdJMmqaRfmd&index=2&t=0s
3694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers are betting on Trotting and Marbles due to Coronavirus on: April 15, 2020, 10:53:45 AM
And as for the article related to what OP shared, trotting is popular in Sweden. For the record, Sweden currently has 11,445 confirmed cases on which have 1,033 death and 381 recoveries. Australia, one of the countries where horse racing is also popular (also on trotting) has 6,400 confirmed cases on which have 61 deaths and 3,598 recoveries.

How come they can freely play sports? Or maybe it was done in another country? I can't think of another country or region that is COVID-free that this kind of sport is popular.

Despite big number of confirmed cases, there is no quarantine in Sweden. Restaurants, shops work as usual, there is many people on streets and parks without face masks. Only events with more than 50 people is banned. So, they even play football friendly games without spectators.
Don't knowvabout Australia, but from stats that you've posted, situation doesn't looks bad in their country, so maybe such events is allowed.

Seems australia has pretty sensible rules for the crisis:
https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2020/apr/15/can-i-visit-my-family-parents-coronavirus-australia-lockdown-rules-covid-19-restrictions-nsw-victoria-queensland

The country is probably not too strick from what I have read there ^. I didn't read everything though. So maybe I missed some important information on the actual level of strictness there.
If the game is currently allowed in the country, it's likely that rules will not permit more than 10 persons watching the game physically especially without proper distancing and other preventative measures.

Thank you very much for the help.

Trotting, where the jockey is pulled behind the horse in a small cart around obscure Swedish racetracks, normally attracts a distinctly niche following. But with Sweden resisting the strict lockdowns imposed in other countries, trotting races in the Scandinavian country have gone global with gamblers.

That is from the article about trotting.

And this page is from Wikipedia about harness racing, and I guess that it's related to the articles.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harness_racing

And I think this is the image for Harness racing

I think that will be the same as the horse betting or dog fights or similar betting which using the animal to bets. I cannot imagine how it will torture the horse when the horse needs to run faster. I don't know in another country, but I guess that in some country that sports will be prohibited. Probably, that sports will also be prohibited in these situations because that can attract so many people in that country to watch the game.

The game looks a bit strange.
Hopefully the horses are not made or force to walk in their unnatural pattern. Or maybe that is their natural walking pattern? They probably should use virtual horses instead of the real ones for this sort of thing.

3696  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🎲 Simpledice.com 🎲🔥 - The simplest but most advanced bitcoin dice game on: April 15, 2020, 08:48:24 AM
"provable fair jackpot on its way"

Does that^ mean you don't have the provable fair feature on the dice site yet? If yes then I guess potential players should wait until something as important as  provable fair is implemented.
Cashback sounds interesting. Will probably need to know how that works.
3697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Doom of the Stablecoin Industry? on: April 15, 2020, 08:32:27 AM
A well decentralized stablecoin can't really be stopped in my opinion.
However, stablecoin developers could consider what the governments are worried about and try to implement them in their codes. If it's about taxes, then  implement a tax system. You could basically list out those things the governments are worried about and try and implement them on stablecoin codes

Sometimes I wonder why developers don't consider creating a stablecoin that is not backed by any country fiat currency...so the governments don't have good reasons to bother them. Just create a cryptocurrency that is as stable as fiat currencies but not tied to any fiat currency!

By the way, the governments could really benefit from allowing "their stablecoins" to be used by cryptocurrency communities. They could simply suggest how they want the stablecoins to work and benefit them, then the communities and developers could implement the suggestions as long as they don't affect the principles of decentralized crypto.
3698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is our chance on: April 14, 2020, 06:13:07 PM
I just understand too that the bankruptcy level of government is high plus this recent global health issue, I believe many countries will go into recession. The solution is to try and be independent and not wait or expect the government to spoonfeed you.

Exactly. People should try hard not to become too dependent on governments ( or other people/things without giving back) that it becomes a habit. People in governments could start making risky/dangerous demands from people that are too dependent on the system.. . If you are too used to being dependant, you will probably have no option than to accept the risky demands.
3699  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 14, 2020, 04:55:19 PM
It's only me that think China is not over with the "first wave" yet?

How entire world is suffering and spreading all over the countries and cities and China didn't have catastrofic numbers in their whole country?
They are to good to deal in this situations or they are lying?

Well, it depends on how transparent things are over there. Non transparent & dictatorial rulers can easily hide the truth. Which is one of the reasons dictatorship is a bad idea... (whether the country is a dictatorship or not I don't know.)
People should be able to closely monitor their leaders and prevent them from derailing or breaking the law.
3700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the difference between Online and Physical casinos? on: April 14, 2020, 10:46:20 AM
I guess you could replicate that experience with things like online virtual casino(does VR/AR casino even exist yet?). You could actually have real virtual crowd on VR. Though that will probably depend on the amount of real people you can get to view your games. I think I'd prefer to play more in the "no-crowd" games though.
