3681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Great news for XRP coin holders? on: November 27, 2020, 07:48:57 AM
These days the price of XRP has gone up more than 100% and I think this airdrop is the factor causing it. Maybe this is a marketing trick but it is definitely in demand by everyone because they will get free tokens that can be directly traded on various exchangers.

It actually did 60% in 2 consecutive days,,, so yeah, I think the coin with the most gains among the top 20 or something (maybe Chainlink and Stellar too but I do not think they moved as fast and high as XRP).

How much did the airdrop get everyone though? Per XRP was it 1:1?

Lets kick off this Black Friday with a video of 9 fouls in a epic 18 seconds video. English football at its best

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hc4reDe6QXA

LOL 1 foul every 2 seconds. You have to admit though sometimes English football is fun to watch because of all that energy put into the fouling. I mean,,, tackling is part of the game and I always feel it should be allowed to get physical as much as possible, of course without purposely injuring people.

All about that Black Friday BTC drop, everybody who has a sportsbet.io account get ready for your chance to claim free BTC. Trust me, if it lands in my account it will be claimed.

Your boy LFC_Bitcoin won’t get caught slippin’

 Tongue

Going to do my best to keep checking I will be at work at the initial stages and then am going to stay late just not to miss anything on the way home;) It will be obvious when/if we get it right?
3683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: November 27, 2020, 05:58:06 AM
Happiness for me to see my team pull through, now all we need is to draw the game against LASK I think and we should be fine to progress, a win against Royal Antwerp I think guarantees that we progress,,, thank god we just wiped out the memory of the last game!

Our very own Vinicius, and Moura long time no goal. Could not be a better night:)
3684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA - what do you think about it as an investment? on: November 26, 2020, 04:30:23 PM
Ah I remember IOTA and all the DAG cryptos. I actually had one myself;) I always thought it was brilliant idea to do mesh and such but they never really took off did they?

To me,,, hard to again predict which coins take off during altseason if it comes,,, but Iota would not be a bad choice for DAG coins.
3685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Site Buys $100 Million of Bitcoin Every Month to Pay Players in BTC on: November 26, 2020, 03:16:15 PM
Strange though,,, I thought bookies only pay out in the same currency that players deposit in, so would you not only be paying out Bitcoin from deposits? And since most casinos should be making their profits in deposits accepted, they should not be buying more BTC to pay out.

Or am I missing something in the picture here?
3686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Tron Fees Going UP 4X on: November 26, 2020, 01:06:35 PM
No idea how much TRX fees cost but I guess it's fixed if they're quadrupling it? Is that more an incentive to miners to stay on the networks or is this just as you say a way to burn up all those micro wallets?

Always though altcoins figured out the fee structure by now.
3687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 26, 2020, 11:41:55 AM
I just finished listening to an interview with Antonio Conte on Italian TV. Fabio Capello asked him if it was not the case to change the tactical module, given that they score little and Conte, furious as usual, said that it is not true.
I wonder how the Inter executives can go on with a man who continues to deny the evidence, has scored 4 goals in 4 Champions League games, Borussia scored 14 and Real Madrid 9

One interview does not give the whole picture,,, but yes I think Conte made a small mistake with that, but at the same time, you do not need to question a manager and coach on his tactics game by game. Inter scores enough, they just need to find a way to start their games early and finish strong because that is the problem with them they cannot last long enough.

Apart from Atalanta Liverpool only scored 2 goals in 3 games in CL. 1-0, 1-0 (own goal), and lost 0-2 will you say this is evidence to say they cannot score a lot?
3688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum PoW fork after ETH2 introduction on: November 26, 2020, 11:08:12 AM
Nobody is going to use it,,, they are forking yes, but this is a hardfork to abandon the old POW, nobody has voted to say that they want to remain, everyone on ETH team is agreed on the same page. All the miners will be moving I guess also after this,,, where they choose will probably be where the price goes;)
3689  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: November 26, 2020, 09:26:51 AM

I got 20 pts just from Haaland alone so that's a nice start for me, but i'm not keeping my hopes up today, i'm 20 points behind 3rd place in the leaderboard :/

That is really nice! I cannot even see myself pushing into top 50 at this rate. I just keep making picks from teams that I feel might do well and then do not. Should just go for the Haalands and Lewandowskis instead,,, really made a bad decision in the first 4 rounds now:(

Some strange results tonight to say the least, i had another guy in my lineup (Torres) who was on the bench and didn't even sniff the pitch.
I finished this round with a grand total of 12pts (not my worst  Cheesy). How many points did you guys get, anyone made the top 3?

I cannot see anything other than Matchday 1 results. Does anybody else have the same problems? I can see overall I am in 77th,,,
3690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP price Hit $0.9, suddenly goes down in second on: November 26, 2020, 07:52:52 AM
XRP is one of the few good coins, in as much as it is highly centralized, but yet the team and community never fails to keep the coin going.

I would say it is a "good" coin only because you can probably believe that the issuers will never let it fall to zero for as long as they have an interest in it. But sorry to say,,, I do not think there is a community keeping the coin going at all. I do not know anyone using Ripple other than for trading and gambling:) What community?
3691  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: November 26, 2020, 06:30:12 AM
The starting line up was awful, I know Klopp is trying to protect players & prevent injuries but surely we should have put our best XI possible out tonight & win which would guarantee qualification so we can rest players in the last 2 games. I very rarely criticise Klopp but he was wrong with that weak line up.

We’ll still qualify, a draw against Ajax does it but I’m annoyed tonight, Neco Williams shouldn’t be near the first team, Origi was crap too. I really don’t see what Curtis Jones does too, Milner hasn’t got the legs for CM.

I’m venting, sorry guys just annoyed.

I thought the same too and bet on them on a different book even last week. Took different bets last night but they were equally bad (Atletico Madrid game to choose even 0.5 goal failed in betbuilder hehe) and then also I picked Dusan Tadic to score for Ajax and they did not do it as well,,,

Understandable to be venting at your team. When my Spurs lose I am the one hating them the most more than my friends!
3692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 25, 2020, 08:53:11 PM
Last night's performance from all the big teams even without key players makes me think tonight will be difficult to bag a good win. Even putting in the same multi 3/4 favorites together does not really give attractive odds.

I even tried making all games over 0.5 goals and the odds were bad, which means bookies are expecting another goal fest;) Threw in 3 bets tonight all on favorites and player to score. Results so far look like me and bookies are wrong eh.
3693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is fine to support Bitcoin Cash. on: November 25, 2020, 08:22:32 PM
We don't all like paying high fees. Paying $10 to send a transaction is extremely high especially to people in poor countries..

This forum is filled with a lot of toxic bitcoin maximalists. Bitcoin was created to be a peer to peer currency but we have this narrative pushed by people like michael saylor that its not meant to be a currency.

Remember newbies that Bitcoin Cash has MANY advantages over Bitcoin.

OP it is fine to support absolutely anything. This is crypto okay? No one tells you what to do or who to support. I do not like BCH because if I want to have it I have to find people willing to accept it. BCH merchants? Where? Unless I use Bitpay.

$10 per transaction? Yes very high but do not transact in high mempool and or wait for Lightning:)

BCH? They keep splitting and forking and it is so confusing I have no confidence in the network what more the value.
3694  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: November 25, 2020, 07:13:03 PM
Just to note I could not make any bet builder bets on the Manchester City match to participate in the promo,,, I thought I would use them all tonight, but every time I form my bet and try to place it it gets a "Rejected" error after trying to load for around 60 seconds. Other matches worked so no issue but I thought this was a good game:)
3695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Eth2 substantially increase Ether's price? on: November 25, 2020, 05:07:59 PM
Must be my third or fourth comment about ETH 2.0 this week and sure,,, I do not mind talking more about it. Vitalik is obviously pumped about the response so far though to be honest with the ATH of 2020 I am actually even more surprised that the staking requirements did not meet faster. Developers probably do not want it to happen though as this will push expectations even higher.

If expectations are met in Q1 2021, then maybe a 1000 price tag is not too far.
3696  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: November 25, 2020, 03:39:59 PM
Did my own multi (accumulator for you foreigners  Tongue) last night & failed miserably. Will have another go tonight whilst watching my beloved LFC.

Good luck in whatever bets you make today guys!

Actually I do not even know the differences between terms;) I have seen people talk multis or multiples, systems, accumulators, parlays. I wonder what other terms. Now we also can have Betbuilder as a term if making multis from the same game;)

I hardly do well with multis. Never go to make more than 2 or 3,,, but I see some of you guys sharing boosted bets like all those Brazilians and makes me think I should go for at least the 5-multi sometimes.
3697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: These 2 Altcoins are beating every major cryptocurrency in week on: November 25, 2020, 03:03:57 PM
Actually chainlink has overtaken ADA/Cardano now as the biggest gainer of the week,,, but the point I want to say is, so what? Bitcoin is the weakest gainer in the week among big coins,,, it does not make it the asset we should consider the least. Ripple and ADA are still highly centralized or are still held my big whales. Movement of price is easier to manipulate.
3698  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 25, 2020, 12:20:09 PM
Looks like some or one whale just lost quite a bit of Bitcoin in the past few days;) I saw my investments jumped 0.6% profit just from that period. Guess the almost ATH price for BTC is making people a bit more excited. Again,,, the theory of price affecting wager was discussed several days ago but maybe it has a different effect at ATH levels?
3699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $WAVES to hit $10 price soon? on: November 25, 2020, 10:40:31 AM
Ah,,, what a long time it has been since I looked at my Waves wallet. So surprised that it still gets me send shittokens every now and then even though I really have not used it at all for such a long time!

$10 would be a dream for all of us smalltime holders. Sasha has rode the wave a lot of times,,, let us see where this goes. I have not given up, just lowered expectations:)
3700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 24, 2020, 07:53:04 PM
The prizes above don't have anything to do with Sportsbet as I will be issuing them, but the prizes are fixed in bitcoin so first place at 0.1BTC is probably a decent chunk of change for the winner. Hard to do this season given we've got about 50 users but will be interesting towards the end of the season when the race becomes tighter, and hopefully bitcoin will be worth more than it is today which will make it even more so.

Don't forget there's a game on Friday as people seem to miss them ones.

Thanks for the reminder. I put in my picks early. Feeling quite frustrated that I dropped out of the race for top 10,,, I know it is only 9 games in so we are exactly 25% of the way but I always feel I perform better at the beginning:)

Looking forward to one week winning the cap, at least get back the entry fee!
