3701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 24, 2021, 02:11:56 AM
I think it's still early for Sean Bready title fight but everything is possible if he continues with his perfect undefeated record in his next fight with one more top level fighter.
UFC and Dana White want flashy performance and KO finishes and you can go in title fight much quicker in that case.
Kamaru Usman is so strong in this division and I don't think anyone can defeat him including Bready.

That would be like breaking a huge wall in front of him. Bready should take this fight seriously and he needs some motivation to go for the knockout if he wanted to preserve his record. either way, this will be a great experience for him he should show everyone how skilled a fighter he is and if he will be failed, at least he got some idea of how to fight stronger opponents than him. This will be a good fight because neither one of them will give up their record.
3702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India plans law that will prohibit ‘all private cryptocurrencies’ on: November 24, 2021, 01:34:42 AM

Just ban the ponzi, hyip schemes and punish their promoters, including the celebrities who use their image to deceive investors. But keep legit crypto currencies intact!

That would be nice and smooth if they do that but they choose to do less work by generalizing every cryptocurrency out there and banning it at once. Looks like they will be turned hostile towards bitcoin as well with this rate. Anyway, India has been promoting such a law before and there has been no change in the crypto market. Whatever their decision might be, it won't affect us anyway.
3703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 23, 2021, 03:15:42 AM
The Brooklyn Nets haw won their game today and that will make them gain the number one seed in the eastern conference right now without Uncle Drew. looks like everything is easy for them when they work together as a team with James Harden and the others.

3704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: betting online cockfight has become the new pandemic on: November 23, 2021, 02:39:45 AM
~

online cockfighting gambling, I've never tried it but it certainly looks very popular in your country

I want to know if cockfighting is legal in the philippines? if not then the philippine government should close all gambling sites that provide cockfighting and fine the owner because it is very detrimental

The industry is huge and they cannot just make it illegal because of the money they can possibly get from it. Most of the bettors are the big names in the country especially politicians and their millionaire friends But there was no online cockfight till now. I don't know because most of the gambling right now is online and looks like they make some huge money from it that's why they wanted to put the cockfighting online as well.
3705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if governments make Bitcoin centralized? on: November 22, 2021, 12:30:56 PM
Look what is happening in the world now and you will see that is the way they are going.

Just like what they've done with the vaccine when they won't force people to get vaccinated but they made some rules for the people who are not yet vaccinated. They can lock down an entire country with just some rumor of a new Covid variant and when they create their own bitcoin, I'm pretty sure that they can force someone to sell it or to make it look bad so that they can get it back. Just look what is happening to the billionaires in China. If the whales are known to the public, their government will take advantage of them.
3706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to avoid all scams? on: November 22, 2021, 11:31:28 AM
I thought it was possible but as soon as they find new techniques and they found you unguarded, they won't hesitate to fool you. That's what's happening in the scamming industries where scammers have some updated strategies to fool people that's why to keep yourself updated, you need to often visit the Beginners & Help section of this forum cause they almost post the newly invested scam right there. You can avoid every scam out there when you also update yourself about their new technique.
3707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 22, 2021, 04:02:41 AM
I just read the news that Klay Thompson has started full practices with the team and the Golden State Warriors will have him in uniform playing games before Christmas. This team is going to be scary if he comes back anywhere close to where he was when he got injured. The thought they still have another starter in Wiseman that’s due back soon and I’m starting to think the Warriors might have another shot at reigniting their dynasty.

That was a fact and they leading the NBA right now without him. I hope that they can synchronize the momentum with him as soon as he enters the court again.

Right now the GSW is winning against the Raptors with a few minutes left in the 4th quarter and they just won. they are now 15-2 without Klay Thompson and holding the best record in the current season.

3708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tax holding back bitcoin from going to the Moon on: November 22, 2021, 03:40:39 AM
Define Moon. It seems to me when people always talk about moon, it's some infinite figure  Grin

We have had Bitcoin go all the way from less than 1 USD to 60,000 USD today and you still say something called tax is holding back Bitcoin?
Most Countries around the world probably still don't have a proper taxation plan for gains made from crypto. Take an example of traders from countries like Venezuela?

It seems like they have their own definition as well. anyway, they think the moon is when the price is achieving ATH day after day non-stop. Well! people have their own perspective in life but this one is ridiculous. I mean, what more they can ask for the price this year? isn't it enough for them for the bitcoin price to reach a massive ATH this year? there will always be next year and there's a high tendency on seeing another ATH again.
3709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: November 22, 2021, 03:18:16 AM
Next year would be the biggest fight for Crawford since he already beat everyone that will lead him no choice but to fight Spence. They need to make this fight happen as soon as possible without going for a complicated negotiation which will delay the fight for more years. Those fighters are getting old and their promoters need to consider that.

On the other hand, that was a nice try for Porter, it's just Crawford is on another level for him.
3710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFTs overhyped? on: November 21, 2021, 01:00:37 PM
Most of them are overhype so be careful to make your own personal research before investing in any of them especially those newly games that offer huge ROI because most of them have only come from the past games that already been vanished after they got huge money from their late investors so they've just created new ones to fools us. They have been acting like the old cloud mining industries which where most of them were busted due to their nature where they were just pretending to be legit in the beginning but a poisonous snake in the ending because they ran away when they get what they were after.
3711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin City on: November 21, 2021, 12:37:04 PM
That would be nice! since they were the first country to adopt the use of bitcoin, they should be the first to create such a city that everything you need about cryptocurrencies will be there. I think they've done the job well that's why they want to further expand their innovations with the help of bitcoins. everything was working out well with El Salvador, investors should be aware of possible profit when they finalized their decision about creating that Bitcoin City, I'm sure the first to invest will be the first to earn.
3712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 21, 2021, 03:36:08 AM
I never thought of this angle, when you said he did not fight anyone above his weight class i had to check his career record and the weight class he fought throughout his career and it is true that all of his fights are in the middleweight division. Now he is 39 years and i doubt he will be moving up in weight, but when he did that in his prime he could have won most of the matches.

Even though he is at the peak of his career, he is still one of the best boxers who step up in the ring and this upcoming fight will be no different from the other fight where he beat every opponent with a knockout except for a few. more likely this fight would end in the early rounds like the last Japanese fighter he fought which was quickly ended in the eight-round due to multiple one-sided punches by GGG.
3713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about the new alts? on: November 21, 2021, 02:34:40 AM
Your choice isn't that bad and you are riding the trend as well which is you bought some coins from metaverse, obviously, that would be a good choice right now since the hype about the metaverse will become fully launched next year and that would be the beginning of the new innovation and along with the rising of the price of those coins, you invested if we followed how the traditional rising price of the coins when currently on the trend.
3714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 21, 2021, 02:05:21 AM
They have a good chance against weaker teams like Pistons, but still it will be a tough game for them as they keep on struggling.
Maybe if they can keep like 2-5 winning streak, then maybe chemistry is there. But if they are inconsistent even if Bron is back in the line up, the Lakers will have a hard time in the West and really this might be the same 2012-2013 Lakers. Good in paper and have the talent, but there's no blending and chemistry.

I'm am a Lakers fan but watching how they played their games nowadays looks like I will temporarily change my teams to Bulls and Brooklyn. But the best fight to look forward to is the Suns and GSW the two best teams in the west. But they won't have any game until the first day of next month. nevertheless, it would be the best game ever and a preview of a possible match-up in the western conference finals. So as the 2nd game of Bulls and Brooklyn on Dec 5.
3715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hillary Clinton: Nation states should pay attention to the rise of crypto on: November 21, 2021, 01:37:35 AM
It might become less profitible for the US government but not being the world reserve currency hasn't done too badly for the other countries that have had the title in the past.

I doubt crypto has the strength to overtake the dollar within a few years for example but there will likely be a solution that rises up that consumers/businesses accept (and we can hope it's not centrally controlled).

IMO government agencies will only go to extent of adoption of centralized cryptocurrency like xrp, bnb etc. For government agencies bitcoin is more dangerous then inflated dollar since decentralized btc gives them zero control over financial matters. Btc is designed to remain decentralized, something not desired by centralised bodies.

Looks like they are in trouble now and they're looking for something to put all the blame and sadly out of multiple choices, they chose bitcoin to blame on the inflation of USD. I don't know but more likely USD is sinking and we might be facing an economic disaster once again. they should have gladly accepted bitcoin rather than blaming it. It won't change the fact that it would save them from their upcoming economic crisis. This nation hasn't been honest to themselves and always play as a victim when they were the one who ruins their country and other countries as well.
3716  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin run up is coming on: November 19, 2021, 01:45:36 AM
For some people might say something like that will happen, but maybe there will be a way to deal with inflation without having to run to bitcoin, inflation has always existed even before bitcoin, and that problem can also be solved. we just don't know for sure how it happened. CMIIW

Their experience about inflation in the past, they don't have any choice but to find some alternatives out of nowhere and solve it just like that before the existence of bitcoins. Now they have the crypto industries, they won't go to something unknown rather they will just look at how El Salvador's data was and adapt it to their economic system. since bitcoins are here they won't go to another choice which will not bring them concluded result.
3717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 18, 2021, 12:20:28 PM
This is the only game that has the best ending earlier because they managed to secure their winning streak even though they were behind until the late minutes of the 4th quarter but Booker's three in the last 2 minutes has sealed the game to get their 10 winning streaks and the Phoenix Suns are likely joining the NBA playoffs this season.

3718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Walk-In Foreign Exchange Places Offer BTC on: November 18, 2021, 11:49:54 AM
That would be convenient if you found yourself cannot access to the exchange you commonly used. I think in the future we will see them just like the money changers in our city where they offer exchanges of the foreign currencies to get some profit from in exchange for convenience to the people. It will be possible to have like that in our streets in the upcoming years if the bitcoin market will continue to rise each year.

3719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Baseball Team Now Pays Players in Bitcoin on: November 18, 2021, 03:15:59 AM
Sports industries are into bitcoin payments right now and we will see more good results next year. braise yourself guys looks like next year will be huge for the sports fans who are into crypto as well. It will trigger every pro sports after the Staples Center announcements of it changing its name into the Crypto.com arena. If this is not a sign then I don't know what it is. But we need to avoid exaggerations where when some project appears out of nowhere offering coins linked to those names we rush to invest in it. we always need to be careful because this is when the time the scammers use the advantages of the trend to fool their victims.
3720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 18, 2021, 02:01:51 AM
Without a doubt this is going to be a problem for GGG, it is obvious Murata is a good fighter but the fact that GGG agreed to have the fight being held at Japan means a huge disadvantage for him, especially if the fight is close as that will mean the decision most likely is going to favor Murata, this means GGG is completely convinced he can win in a convincing enough manner for this to not be a factor, whether this is by KO or by winning so many rounds that some favoritism is not going to affect him.

He just needs to finish the fight as soon as he finds a chance to do so. He cannot give any close decision that might lead to his defeat when he hears a sudden split decision. Looks like it will be a big fight for the Japanese since they haven't seen a good fight such as this one for a long time. Murata needs to give it all here not just depending on the officials to get the win, he also needs to work out to K.O GGG with his skills.
