3701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 08, 2021, 06:59:13 PM
Honestly it wasn't really an impossible situation but Liverpool got really unlucky and everyone who watched the game knows it. The game we watched definitely didn't deserve a 4-1 result, it wasn't even that much in the first 70 minutes or so but after that suddenly the 1-1 game became 4-1 very quickly.

Not that it was a bad game to watch as a fan of neither team, I just had a lot of fun watching it, but I also felt a bit sad about the Liverpool fans, they did win a lot of cups in the recent years so they shouldn't be really that sad about this year but it is looking more and more like they are not going to be winning anything, this game probably already sealed the possibility that they won't become champions, and I feel like they will have hard time even for top 3 fighting by the looks of it as well, if they can fight they may become third by the looks of it.
3702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: February 08, 2021, 05:11:42 PM
Many people will sell at much lower prices like 30k or 40K thinking that bitcoin cannot reach more than this price. Other people know that bitcoin can easily reach 100,000K, but as soon as bitcoin dump little, they get panic and sell their bitcoin. These people will miss the real profits when bitcoin will reach the market cycle top which could be between 150,000$ - 200,000$. So in my opinion, we should not sell now at cheap prices.
There are people who sell right now who do not think that bitcoin can't reach 100k, they think it can reach 100k and it will reach 100k, there are just some people who sell because they think before it reaches 100k it could go down to 30k and then they can buy more and they will keep it until it reaches 100k price.

That is at least the line of thinking a trader has, I have a friend who does daily trading and he buys and sells almost at any price, doesn't mean that he doesn't think bitcoin won't reach 100k, he just believes that instead of buying and waiting for it to go up, he might as well buy/sell everyday constantly and make even more money than someone who just buys and sells. Sometimes they make more money that way and sometimes they make less money that way, it doesn't really matter because they are not selling it with the hopes that price would go down.
3703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any clue about the amount to buy or sell to influence the price trend? on: February 08, 2021, 09:36:31 AM
I see that price trend is influenced by the amount of crypto bought or sold but I don't know the level that can create that panic to demand you to buy or sell too...
More, have you considered organizing yourself in groups for trading based on a schedule? For instance, you create  a group of 10-100 people, you agree by voting what you'll do, sell or buy and then you go in group by buying or selling knowing exact timing? Is this kind of strategy profitable? Did you try it? Wanna try it? Smiley
When you  create groups to buy and sell at the same time, it is what’s called P&D Groups (pump and dumps), and in regulated market it is considered as something illegal to do.

I cannot tell if that’s the same with cryptocurrency trading since it is not regulated by the government, but it seems totally wrong to me since most of the people that does that are usually targeting small cap coins that they will easily pump and dump and then render these coins useless which is totally wrong.
3704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did YOU start trading in bitcoin? on: February 06, 2021, 02:08:12 PM
I started trading in bitcoin when in 2014 I saw many opportunities that could make me rich, from bitcoin I learned little by little and was able to get bitcoin from the faucet, finally in 2015 I tried to learn more in this forum, and until currently I still survive and trade in bitcoin. trading in bitcoin is very fun because we can get a lot of profit unexpectedly.
It has been 7 years for you since you are trading but the thing I don't like is that you called it "fun" to trade. Don't get me wrong and maybe because you are trading small amounts you call it funny but someone like me who trades for living and buy and sell multiple coins a day and stress all night about which coins will pump and which ones will dump. Its not easy being a trader if you are doing it seriously and for living.

I started trading some years ago and can't recall the exact year but I was more of an investor and less of a trader as I used to buy as many bitcoins possible and later when the bull run was going on, I used to sell some and again wait for the market to drop down for buying.
3705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price correction btc 6-12 months on: February 05, 2021, 06:05:27 AM
Technical analysis makes a slight difference than solely relying on fundamentals and presumption based on current price movements. Though TA's focuses on past records and current movements of asset, but the chances for that specific analysis to happen is still 50/50 just like those who are just guessing the next price movements.
So, I have to agree the above comment, because no one would ever be certain on what would be the next Btc price.
We were once on the verge of lossing the $30,000 level, but It bounces back to almost $40,000 at this very moment. A lot of speculations say Btc is on its way on having the early correction.
I simply mean in the loosest term possible that "bitcoin can do anything it wants" because let's face it, in the technical sense it could be 1 dollars or 1 million dollars as well, that is even wider range than 20k to 50k range, however that is "technically possible" that we do not believe in, everybody knows bitcoin is not going to 1 dollar, and it will not be 1 million dollars anytime soon neither.

Long story short I mean that 20k is (or was at the time) only 50% or so drop away, and that is totally fine, it could definitely happen, however looking at 50k at today's price you may think that is easier, but at the time it was nearly identical. When the price was 35k, it required 15k drop to be 20k and 15k increase to be 50k, and looking at everything we have I felt like it was equal chances to hit those two numbers. Now looking at it, I could say 50k is a bit more possible.
3706  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Does Binance trip about using a VPN? on: February 03, 2021, 05:39:13 PM
Like some other platforms do. Is it against thier terms and conditions? Could it cause account termination?
My colleague"sort of" had a problem like this before. If you end up using Binance with VPN and not get caught at all it wouldn't change anything, after all if binance doesn't know that you are using VPN then what can they do about it? That is why not getting caught is the most important part of the situation.

However my colleague got caught, he was asked to provide KYC as well, and he did shared his own information which showed he was from another nation. However, luckily he showed a passport ticket that he was in the country he showed, now if he never went to that nation he would be screwed but since he was capable of showing that, he said he is still there and got away with it, he just got lucky but that was pure luck and he could have been in trouble.

3708  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptocurrencies Really Money? on: February 03, 2021, 04:14:23 PM
The question has be answered because technically, but in addition bitcoin or cryptocurrency at large is money in all ramifications of life, it's higher currency that every other fucking country across the world is using today, what fiat currency does bitcoin performed it more preferable than fiat currency, so no area we can be use to justify cryptocurrency as not money, its very clear that bitcoin are use to purchase anything generally accepted with money so their is no difference between btc and paper money and bitcoin.
"not money" is used because we are not spending it, just because we are buying it and selling it doesn't mean that it could be considered money. Don't get me wrong I do consider crypto as money, but I am just trying to explain to you what other people are thinking.

Asset and Money are different things, one of them is like stock, gold, forex and all the other stuff which we call assets and you can have them, keep them for a very long time, and sell them to have more fiat. What you get in return of that is money, so if you spend money to buy a stock and it increases so you sell it for more money you made a profit but your aim is to have more money not more stocks.

However crypto is like both of them which confuses people, can I get a flight ticket with crypto? Yes I can. Can I buy bitcoin and hold it and later sell for more money? Sure I can. So, we are both an asset but also a money, which confuses people obviously.
3709  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price correction btc 6-12 months on: February 03, 2021, 03:06:57 PM
Bitcoin could have a correction to under 20k in the future but that doesn't mean that we are going to see that easily, sure it "could" happen but this idea that price will definitely go down and there is nothing we can do about it is wrong and it should be fought off against.

Just like how bitcoin could be under 20k tomorrow, it could also be 50k+ tomorrow, these are all possible, it could be not tomorrow but some other time but the possibility of bitcoin being under 20k and over 50k are equally the same and that is why we should not think in pessimistic tone, we should be careful about a drop and set our stop loss points just in case but that is just a way of guaranteeing that we are not going to lose too much whereas we should also have a plan to sell it when it is over 50k as well. I say put a stop loss at around 27k level and also have a sell order at 50k so that you will be ready in either case.
3710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple XRP Price in january 2021 on: February 03, 2021, 08:55:31 AM
Looks like the price is falling already. It went from 2219 to 1200 within a few hours and it's now hovering around the ~1350sat. Wondering if they even dump it more.
It was already a known drop and there was no need for it to stay high, so its obvious that people would lose money from this, that is what I am very sad about as well. It is a currency that we all knew that would fall down eventually, it is in investigation and there is a SEC probing going on with Ripple, so it was obvious that there is nothing good about xrp that is going on right now, there is no reason why it should be high.

What happened? Some people pumped it and now dumped it, the price went low so much and now going even lower, and all the other people who got hyped about the pump ended up losing money, there is really nothing we can do to make this work, because its something we never really imagined would be possible, any sane person would have realized it shouldn't be high, but it did, and now there are thousands losing money and there is nothing we can do about it.
3711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bull run is coming and just waiting for your turn on: February 03, 2021, 06:49:33 AM
Looking at the list, it can be seen that most of these coins, if not all of them are really good coins and are within top 20 on coinmarketcap, thus I think I will be right for saying that these coins grew so much because they have good use cases and their team are good as well. I can also be right for saying that, these coins have a lot of investors that believes in it thus the price so far or new ATH achieved.
When a coin is at the top ranks that usually means coin is good as well. People assume that there are so many other coins that are good but not in top 20 and try to shill their coins but at the end if it was so good it would have been in the top 20. This is not about new one or old one neither, look at polkadot, it became top 5 coin and it is not even a year old, there are ones with 5+ even 7+ existence that is nowhere near the top 20 level, they just slowly died and went low and lower.

This is why I think all those good coins will keep on going higher, if you mix yourself a portfolio that would be inside the top 20 or even top 30, that means you are going to have a great return, sure it wouldn't be sudden profit, but it would definitely be something you could profit in the distant future, since these coins will always make you a profit in the end.
3712  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial freedom and success comes from knowledge on: February 02, 2021, 11:14:36 AM
A lot of people have still not learnt from what has happened during this covid19 pandemic, because they still care less and don’t want to do things that will help them in creating wealth for themselves. That’s why there is a quote that says that we shouldn’t work hard, but we should be working smart and not hard. Working hard and not doing it smart means that you’re just going to be stressing your life, which will in turn affect you.

But, when you do it in a smart way you’re going to be able to earn from it and develop a small business to a higher level. There is a way you can package the same product that is being sold for a penny and it will be sold for a huge amount of money, the way you do your things is the same way it will be valued.
3713  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you put your investment motto in one sentence when you enter the cryptocurre on: February 02, 2021, 10:23:06 AM
No matter how the currency market goes up or down, we always have a dim idea in our mind. Maybe, it is the idea that supports us. Now, it is time to clarify the idea and share it with the public.
Nothing much, just play it safe. I always follow the rule to buy low and sell for the higher price. It has always been working for me and I have not stopped using the same rule every time, and whenever I buy Bitcoin, Ethereum or any coin at a low price I am not ready to buy again when the price starts going up, I only buy it once when the market is cool and at a low price then I continue to hold it till it goes into full bull market and I am very sure that the bull run has reached its highest level for that year before selling and waiting for another good chance to go at it again.
3714  Economy / Economics / Re: Vaccination Started in India | Impact over Indian Economy & World? on: February 02, 2021, 05:00:29 AM
It is said that vaccination starting all over the world now already has some sort of affect on the numbers, we are seeing less and less people dying and that is a good thing because that means we are getting back to regular world.

You can't stop the infection because people will spread it no matter what you do, but you could try to make vaccination so powerful that this virus would not give you even fever if you ever get it, it will be like you never had a thing, like how the asymptomatic people are right now, make everyone similar and even elderly do not die, and everyone who gets infected do not even realize it. If you make it that way, we could go out there without masks and live our life like nothing happened. But for that to happen, we have to continue to vaccinate everyone, and results needs to come back as good as this for a long time.
3715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your predictions for the next Alt to pump after what happened to Doge? on: February 01, 2021, 12:44:25 PM
I would say BNB, and that is coming from someone who hates centralization as well. Normally if you told me I would eventually like BNB, I would call you crazy, but looking at the situation right now, I am not saying that at all, I think that is kind of the situation right now, BNB is so good that even people like me who hates centralized currencies could see himself investing a bit, I only have just 2 BNB right now which is nothing, but normally I never invested a single dime into it before this year.

However what they are doing with their website, and all those binance chain works they are pulling off has managed to make me a supporter, it is still very dangerous in my mind because if one day CZ says "I am taking all your money" that means we are done, now you may think "why would he do that?" but I just do not want to risk it, there is no reason.
3716  Economy / Economics / Re: Are people losing faith from centralized organizations? on: January 25, 2021, 12:46:13 PM
People may be losing faith in centralised organisations, but I've never personally heard one single person ever voice that ever, but they never had and never will have faith in a decentralised alternative. They will simply make the odd complaint and keep the status quo.

It doesn't help that many things that claim to be decentralised are fucking useless, mainly because they weren't.
Thank you, it's why I trust centralized more than decentralized, DEX looks more shady to me, you want the real transparency? Centralized entities got you covered, I'm not planing on holding my money, they are safer in the banks, everyone keeps shouting DeX but none really works
Centralized organizations we talk about are not the ones you think about. Binance is centralized but we are not talking about that, you could use that if you want and there is no problem for it. What we are talking about here is the banks and other places like insurance and whatever, those are really the horrible ones because they are not good at what they do and they are stealing everyone's money.

So, if you are not sure about binance versus uniswap that's fine, you can trust uniswap and I do not know why you don't because they are decentralized and open source so you have nothing to worry about, but even if you do not want to trust them that's fine it is a personal preference and you can go with binance. However if you consider banks versus binance, it should be binance all the way, they are not doing anything to hurt you and they are trying to make money while we all make money, that is a lot better for binance, if we get rich they get rich so they want what's better for us.
3717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 24, 2021, 06:02:03 PM
Only 1-0 in 1st half for Juventus, they missed at least 3 goals Roll Eyes.
Full time: 2 - 0 for Juventus. 2 goals are from Arthur and McKennie. Ronaldo has one assist and was rejected one late goal by excellent save.
With 3 points, Juventus now have 36 points and only one less than AS Roma. I am waiting for the performance of Napoli that can take 38 points and 3rd position from Roma if they can win and get 3 points.

http://www.legaseriea.it/en/serie-a/league-table
https://www.juventus.com/en/news/articles/juve-secure-convincing-2-0-win-over-bologna
Juventus is doing a lot better than Napoli right now, let's not forget that Juve is one point behind Roma but they are also one game behind as well, which means if they win their extra game, they will be 2 points ahead of Roma and in the third spot. If napoli wins they are going to be 38 points and in the third place but they are going to be one game ahead of Juventus as well, and Juven will be capable of going 1 point over Napoli as well with that win.

Right now Juventus is the "de facto" third place in the league, unless they end up losing which would mean they are where they are but they are really creating a threat right now for the teams higher up. Milan is an exception even with one game ahead, they have 43 points, so if Juve wins they are going to be still 4 points ahead of Juventus no matter what, which is why I feel they are a bit at ease.
3718  Economy / Economics / Re: How will financial crisis affect crypto? on: January 20, 2021, 07:14:42 AM
We have seen what kind of financial crisis happened at the price of crypto was just fine. People should stop caring about a huge crash in the world that would be horrible for crypto, thats not going to happen because crypto was created literally for that reason. 2008 was a financial crisis and even though Satoshi and many before him tried to have a legit and decent currency on digital platform the blockchain system was the one that got accepted as the only proper one. That is why this is against the crashes and against crisis because crypto is largely unaffected.

Definitely price could be affected a bit, but the reality is that whatever made bitcoin 40k is still out there, it is still the same bitcoin, doesn't matter if you buy it or sell it, bitcoin is bitcoin and if it is 40k once it will be again, even if it falls to 40 dollars it will go back to 40k.
3719  Economy / Economics / Re: The recent rise in prices, temporary or more long term? on: January 20, 2021, 06:13:49 AM
I believe they are not temporary at all, but I do not believe it will continue to go up for now neither. I believe 40k is totally realistic price for bitcoin, I actually believe 400-500 thousand dollars level is "realistic" target for our cap as well, I do not see it becoming 1 million dollars per bitcoin because that would be nearly twice of gold market cap and I do not see that happening but 400-500k is about gold market cap give or take and that could potentially happen.

At the end of the day bitcoin needs a realistic max that it can ever reach, and I believe that is half a million dollars, maybe it will happen in a few years, maybe a decade but that is the max I can see it going. Until that price is reached I believe there isn't going to be anything big that would be shocking, we can reach to 100k and it wouldn't be shocking to me at all, as long as we are at realistic levels.
3720  Economy / Speculation / Re: What you'll do when BTC price will go down heavily and fast? on: January 14, 2021, 05:46:04 PM
I think the answer is "buy more" for many people. I have seen bitcoin do a correction about 7 or 8 times in the past 5 months and anytime it went down, people ended up buying more and more and the price recovered very quickly, which is why I think people end up buying a lot whenever price goes down. That is a smart thing to do and that is why I think it is quite possible that people end up with these kinds of results, they have seen that if they buy bitcoin, they are going to end up with a lot better results during the falls, and end up in profit during the ups.

I personally haven't taken part in it too many times, just twice so far but I am sure I am going to end up doing a lot better later on. All in all it is obvious that people want to make a lot more profit so they will keep on buying whenever it goes down, which makes me feel better about all these corrections.
