3701  Economy / Services / Re: Selling ideas on: December 14, 2013, 05:41:37 PM
people don't pay people for ideas.
people pay people for fruition of said ideas...

Well said...
For those that have doubts, Im a student who doesn't have the time or funds to start up all these projects.
As I said, I'm working on one myself. Once it goes live, I'll share it with all of you.

3702  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save This Child's Life - URGENT!!! NO DONATIONS. JUST A SIGNATURE on: December 14, 2013, 05:39:47 PM
You are free to debate it.
BUT, if you don't believe in it, don't try to persuade others not to sign up.
And which sadistic people would do that?

I don't know this kid, but his story has been going round, and I don't think for a second that any family on Earth would make that up.

For all those trying to promote this, I thank you.
My gratitude may not be much, but you will be rewarded one day Smiley

3705  Economy / Lending / Re: Loaning my BTC on: December 12, 2013, 10:12:52 PM
Because perhaps they don't want to spend their LTC?
The LTC is only a collateral should the user not be able to repay the loan.
If a user needs the BTC desperately and knows that he/she can pay it back then there's no reason why they should sell their LTC for BTC only to later use the BTC and buy back the LTC.

Yes, you are right.
Instead of turning my ltc ot btc ill just pay 50 usd interest.

I think ill just LTC->BTC, BTC->LTC and buy 2.5 LTC instead instead of pay you interest

Quote from the discoverer of the golden egg.
@OP, you said they must return a 0.5 BTC extra.
Also, perhaps specify the interest in percentage.  Someone in need of a 0.01 BTC loan is not going to pay 600% of the initial loan.

I admit I wasn't clear enough.
I've now edited the main post.

Thanks
3706  Economy / Lending / Re: Loaning my BTC on: December 12, 2013, 09:40:39 PM
Why would anyone lone btc if they enough LTC.
They can just buy BTC with LTC on websites like BTC-E.com, and save thereselves from paying 0.05 interest.

Why would anybody take a loan out against their house when they could just sell their house?

Great comparison. Thanks. Sometimes its just too difficult to explain these things.

Yes, that's true.
But if someone doesn't believe in it and genuinely has something against it, then that is up to them. However, I ask that they do not post their views if its only going to dissuade others.
This is about saving someones life, not a national debate.

Thanks
3709  Economy / Lending / Loaning my BTC on: December 12, 2013, 05:32:33 PM
Hi,
I've got some BTC that I'm prepared to loan out.
I will not lend out more than 0.1 BTC at a time to any one user.
Every loan amount must be repaid with a .5 addition to the initial loan.
Say 0.01 was borrowed. I expect 0.015 back. Say 0.2 was borrowed, I expect 0.25 back. You get the drift...
So if someone borrows 0.1 BTC, the repayment must be 0.15 BTC
I add .5 of the next decimal to their order.
0.1BTC=0.15BTC 0.01BTC=0.015BTC 0.001BTC=0.0015BTC
The user must be a trusted member on the forum, and provide a collateral of some sort. (Preferably LTC)

If you're interested and fit the criteria, please post below and I'm sure we can arrange something.

3710  Bitcoin / Project Development / BitCoin Website - Help needed for Equity on: December 12, 2013, 12:55:31 PM
I have an idea for website for BTC/LTC and other such cryptos.
As far as I'm aware, no such sites exist, but I could be wrong.
The technology isn't new and it's actually a very easy site to make.
I'm looking for 1-2 web developers who can help me with this.
I will offer each of them 25% equity in the business.
So whatever profits we get, they get their fare share.
If you're interested, please post here or PM me.

Thanks

P.S I'm not going to tell you what the idea is straight out. You must be reputable, and have computer skills. I'd like to see some previous work.

Thanks

Someone in London would be best, but international partners are good as well.

Why do you want to reveal the identity of the group?
3712  Economy / Goods / Re: IPHONE 5 & 4s boxes with manuals and all the packaging. plus headphones NEW on: December 12, 2013, 11:37:38 AM
How many LTC/BTC for the headphones?
And are they authentic apple EarPods?
3713  Other / Meta / Re: Split from: [WTB] Bitcointalk accounts on: December 12, 2013, 11:35:12 AM
Actually it is pretty annoying.
Was about to lend a trusted user some BTC.
However, I was informed he hasn't been active for a couple of months and had weird activity recently after some type of scam.
Guess his account was bought/hacked.
Almost went through and would have lost my BTC. I'm thankful to the member who stopped me, but I think a list is needed of all the accounts that people have sold.
I think if that were to happen, it would discourage people from selling their accounts.
3714  Economy / Services / Re: Selling ideas on: December 12, 2013, 11:07:15 AM
That's a good point.
If someone is genuinely interested, I will get them to sign an NDA. I will also make a record of all conversations between us as proof.
This may include PMs, emails to ensure it's not a hacked account, a perhaps even recorded telephone/skype calls.
Again, I'm not just going to give the idea away.
If someone asks me for an idea for a website or item, I will ensure that they have the means or ability to actually develop the idea first.
Only then will I go forth with proceedings.
3715  Economy / Services / Re: Selling ideas on: December 12, 2013, 10:00:35 AM
I'm quite young, so funding is the problem.
Some of my ideas aren't physical products, and there is no protection on my part.
If I show it to the world on kickstarter anyone can steal my idea.
And regarding my project, I can't share anything until my patent comes through.
And yes, I will be using kickstarter for it...
And when my site goes live, I may accept BTC and LTC as well :

So many questions...
If you're not interested, don't ask. Simples

Guys, I respect your views.
However, please don't make this a discussion thread whethe you believe in it or not.
I'm sure the parents and doctors have spoken about it greatly and this really is the last resort.
In addition, I'm certain the parents wouldn't force anything on their dying son without discussing it with him first. Yes he's 6, but he understands that's he's sick, and I'm pretty sure he's able to make a decision over a small chance he has of living and dying.
THIS IS NOT AN APPEAL.
$92k has already been donated for his treatment.
Whether you believe in it or not, this is the child's only hope, and I'm sure if anyone here was in the same or similar situation (which should never happen), I'm sure you'd all do the same.

Thanks
3717  Economy / Services / Re: Selling ideas on: December 12, 2013, 01:06:46 AM
I won't sell anything without explaining the idea first.
And yes, the ideas aren't bad. Its how the people pursue them that can either make them, or break them.
It's how you create the good and how you publicise it.
I have an idea for an app that is guaranteed to be a success. I just don't have 100k to spend on developers.
If a developer would want to join me for equity, then I'd keep that idea myself.

Again, this thread was just an idea. Definitely not one of my best, but an idea nonetheless Smiley
3718  Economy / Services / Selling ideas on: December 12, 2013, 12:41:31 AM
Hi,
I know the thread seems weird, and in all honesty, it is!
I'm a rather creative person and i've come up with lots of great ideas in the past few years.
I'm currently working on one myself, but have plenty more that I just don't have the time or funds to do.
Therefore, I am selling my ideas to the public.
I have varius app ideas, website ideas and product ideas (hardware)
If you're looking for someone very creative, send me a PM and specify what you need.
I'm sure something can be arranged...

3720  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.05 BTC Loan to be repaid when Coins arrive from coinbase on: December 11, 2013, 11:33:48 PM
So did this a while ago but I'm back now to do it again.

I'm betting on a bought/hacked/scammer comeback account.

Guy goes silent for months after scamming Bogart.
Comes back to organize a fabulous 4$ giveway.
Goes dormant for a 20 days.
Comes back to take part in a 1$ giveaway ( Roll Eyes )
Then asks for a loan and offers a "I'll hold your bitcoins" service.

Stay. Away.

Thanks for the advice.
Was just having a discussion before about bought accounts.
Someone should make a sticky with all the bought accounts, because otherwise, this whole retain system is pointless...
