Lezards are dinosaurs... So here is the new official narrative: the father of the dude was operative for the soviet army during the soviet invasion, following the destruction and defeat of Russia against the mujahideen and their stingers manpad the father emigrated to USA because he was afraid to be discovered by the afghans. Once in USA he became cover operative for Russia and sacrificed his son for the motherland. Done deal.

His father was not working for the Soviet Army. He was working for the legitimate Afghan government, which was headed by Mohammed Najibullah. The Americans overthrew the secular regime of Najibullah, and replaced it with an Islamist one. The Mujahideen / NATO never came close to defeating the Soviets, and that is the reason why they retreated from the cities and waged the guerilla warfare.

Like how the glorious USA won in Vietnam.

3703  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Isis is only attacking the west? They are Russian covert operatives on: June 18, 2016, 09:55:33 AM
Russia has never changed it's side in the middle east unlike US. They supported the Shia in Afghanistan, Iran and Syria. In cold war US was on the side of Sunni Iraq and Russia was from the Shia Iran. US is a pro sunni, look at its sunni allies of Saudi and Turkey and is against Shia like Basar-al-asad and Iran. Though US tools have often backfired it, whether it be Saddam Hussain or the so called moderate Sunni freedom fighters in Levant.
There are different reason Russian is not being attacked as easily as the west and US.
The prime factor is the security. Next, is the number of Muslim population and their extent to power.
It is hard for even a non-Muslim to reach Moscow leave alone the other parts of Russia. Russian security is one of the strongest physically or digitally. They don't need any law to prosecute the suspicious people.
Think about Muslims demanding their right to wear a complete face mask and right to polygamy in the west and US. They don't dare to ask for such rights in Russia.

Russia has the longest (land) border in the world. To get average border security russia would have to go bankrupt like 10 times?

3708  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: June 16, 2016, 04:38:21 PM
Taking away the rights of an average citizen to obtain and use a gun doesn't prevent criminals and psychopaths from getting guns. It just means that regular people won't be able to defend themselves.

In the United States, illegal guns are used in almost 90% of the gun-related crimes. With Mexican drug cartels such as the Los Zetas, Barrio Azteca and Los Mazatlecos expanding their operations to the Southern United States, it is only a matter of time before states such as Texas going to get swamped from illegal firearms. And if you take the guns away from the American citizens in these states, it will make them sitting ducks against the drug peddlers.

Where do illegal guns come from? Self made at home wit anvil, hammer and fire? Lol

The same way killers used illegals full autos at the bataclan in Paris.

You didnt answer my question with your question.
Where do the weapons come from? Please just answer that question and dont be so dodgy.

He has a point with plastics..

I seen a cool news bit recently where some tech-nerds made biodegradable 6 pack rings
Which are commonly used on bar cans which end up in the ocean hurting marine life.
Actually the rings were made of stuff fish can eat.

No point in cleaning the Great Pacific garbage patch

Estimates of size range from 700,000 square kilometres (270,000 sq mi) (about the size of Texas) to more than 15,000,000 square kilometres (5,800,000 sq mi) (0.4% to 8% of the size of the Pacific Ocean), or, in some media reports, up to "twice the size of the continental United States"

..unless you stop what is causing it.

But hey.. who gives a fuck ..i got beer to drink !

Does this mentality seem familiar ?

Altcoins cough cough LOL

EDIT:
Don't forget about my recent Toothpaste topic where i mentioned the plastic pellets in Hygiene products Wink

There exist plastics that degrade in water. We gonna change to it over the next decades!
3710  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obama is so f...king right... on: June 16, 2016, 04:13:12 PM
I think so. He was better than Bush in my opinion, then again, Bush may have had better results too if 9/11 didn't happen into the beginning of his presidency. Bush has stay at the wrong time.

Bush was a complete disaster. He was the one who bankrupted the United States by waging a completely unprovoked war against Saddam Hussein. The total cost for the war in Iraq is now estimated at around $6 trillion. And what did they gained after spending so much money? Saddam has been replaced with Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi. That is the only difference in the ground situation.

War on terror was actually why bush had 8 years of presidency. It was good for him.
War on iraq was really good for the military-industrial complex and infrastructure building and oil economy.

Wikipedia scholars x)

PS: bryant is saying that over 50-60% of the whole US debt comes from the 2nd iraq war ^^"

3712  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dutch woman jailed for reporting her rape in Qatar on: June 16, 2016, 04:04:47 PM
Boycott and sanction Qatar and freeze their international financial systems for human rights abuses and financial support of Terror organizations. Then they will see the International rule of law.

Sanctions will work against third world countries such as Iraq and the North Korea. They will never be effective against the ultra-rich nations, such as Qatar and Kuwait. If the Western nations attempt to impose sanctions and embargoes against Qatar, then in the long term it will become counter-productive. Qatar is one of the biggest foreign investors in Europe.

This nations you are talking about are bankrupt in less then 5 years with less then 50$ per barrel.
Would be easy to just bleed them out in less then 2 years with embargos.

Most stupid poster award is for sure going to you this year.

3715  Other / Politics & Society / Re: London's mayor has banned 'unrealistic body images' from transport advertising on: June 16, 2016, 03:57:37 PM

For the sake of non-UK residents, Transport for London is a company owned by elected authority.  Its advertising slots are private property.  There are no free speech issues when the owners of private property make an editorial decision as to which ads he does and does not want to run on their property.

Thanks for info, but besides free speech, the should be an issue about terminating a ad campaign. The advertising company didn't get what it should have, so it may have legal right to ask for financial compensation for breach of contract, or something like that. They may also be very happy with this, as it creates extra media exposure.

I would re hire the same model but put her in a full burqa with the message: "Beach Body Ready!"

Good lord that you and the rest of your friends are just nobodys with an account on bitcointalk.org x)

Else we would see burqas everywhere right? Cheesy

3716  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 10 000 within a moth! on: June 15, 2016, 04:24:17 PM
We are soon entering into a totally new price range when we, bitcoin investors, become a new wealthy elite!
Don't sell now because price will skyrocket soon to the moon. It's a trap to sell now!! It will go higher and higher until 10 000 dollars which is a psychological barrier

1 trillion dollars.
I would advise op to sell his family if he has one and buy buttcoins - as much as possible!

Why proof of stake has no value:

Since Satoshi did not solve the Byzantine generals problem, this means confirmations are completely arbitrary.  So why are two confirmations more useful in Bitcoin (PoW) than one?  Because it's an open entropy system where over a period of time, it's either unlikely or statistically impossible for someone to maintain a monopoly on block validation when there is no upper limit to confirmations.

Recursive systems like proof of stake tend to permanently monopolize block validation by design, with no real fault or state recovery to fix it once it goes off the rails.  The act of introducing interest compounds this problem even more.  This makes a proof of stake confirmation essentially worthless due to being a bounded entropy system.

On top of being worthless, proof of stake is also a permissioned ledger.  The purpose of mining in Bitcoin is to create a permanent decentralized exchange peg, which thus results in a permissionless system.

3718  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We Could Be Living In Simulation Says Elon Musk on: June 15, 2016, 04:11:57 PM
It could be possible i guess, would this mean that
if a simulation reaches high enough technology know how
to create their own simulation that there could endless
simulations inside of simulations?

No the Simulation would probaly end at that point.

Btw. If we are a simulation it is pretty useless to talk about it because we as the inhabitants cant differ simulation from reality because it is the same for us.

(Technically, the award is given to an institution, not an individual, so make sure you have some kind of  affiliation before you apply.)

As befits such a large award, winning it will not be easy. The MacArthur Foundation is looking for organizations that have identified a major problem in society; that have a realistic solution to that problem; and that can enact that solution for $100 million. “Competitive proposals,” they say, “will be meaningful, verifiable, durable, and feasible.”

Atleast read the articles you post @OP lols
