3701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2017, 09:13:21 AM
It will really be a great step in rising of Bitcoin if largest e-commerce website would accept payment in BTC  which could result in increase of its price as it is a milestone achieved by bitcoin. So the future of digital currency is here ,get ready to experience new modes of payment Smiley
3702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never stop buying Bitcoin on: October 29, 2017, 08:41:43 AM
I just wanted to ease everyone's fears, I will never stop buying Bitcoin. Every paycheck from now until forever, I'll continue buying Bitcoin during the fud, the bank bans the 'North Korea is mining bitcoin' BS. I don't care.

I might just burn it all at some point but I won't stop buying it. It might be the only thing I can do against the 'establishment'. Every time they call it a fraud/bubble etc.. Don't care, I support this honey badger as much as I can and always will.

It's wild but don't forget, Bitcoin is the first thing in human history that you can 100% trust... Not to always go up in value, not to make you a millionaire, it will only do exactly what it says it will do.
Many do not beleive it and make assumptions that BTC is bubble but i have faith in it even its price is low because i make profits out of it and we can notice its growth from past few years and it will grow in future also but do have some knowledge about its regulation before investing in it.
3703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency ! Will go boom in no time. on: October 28, 2017, 06:01:30 PM
As what we can see by now, cryptocurrency is starting to make its name and has the ability to be successful. Though there are many probabilities that it will fail, I still believe that it will be a success in no time. What do you think about it ?
There are many unknown altcoins to people. Many know only BTC but still there are many more cryptocurrencies  available which can be popular within few time such as ethrem which became leading cryptocurrency of south africa leaving behind BTC. If we notice past changes in digital currency we will see a huge growth in digital currencies.
3704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and crime... on: October 28, 2017, 05:44:55 PM
In my country since there are cases of bitcoin malware with the increasingly make bad bitcoin image in the eyes of the people.i Hope in your country is not so and hopefully the future of people's view about bitcoin getting better... Smiley Smiley Wink
Talking about ransomware is not the case with our country but still we should be careful while dealing with digital currency as BTC is used in crimes also which ruins its image among people. So use it in wise manner
3705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: October 27, 2017, 07:07:54 PM
Personally I say yes as our society becomes increasingly dependent upon technology, digital currency will become a more popular means of paying for different things and it is more effective and instant. I haven't used much physical money in the past 8 years and I rarely had any problems with that.

What do you guys think? Wink
If we take a look back we will notice that people are moving toward digital currency leaving behind fiat money and there are some countries where whole population prefer digital currency

So in future it might replace paper money although some feel risky as their personal information might get exposed but still its usage would be on large scale .
3706  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we keep converting bitcoin back to dollars ? on: October 26, 2017, 12:01:00 PM
It's almost like we don't value it for itself, but what it's worth in "real" money.
Conversion of BTC to "dollars" or any other currency depends upon the utilities people drive from it.Some might want to sell or purchase it or buy goods so it is easier for them to convert it into real money or fiat money as it is easily accepted all over but bitcoin is not accepted everywhere.
3707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons Why Bitcoin Price Drops on: October 26, 2017, 11:47:47 AM
BTC is volatile currency as we all know but the reasons behind price downfall are :

1.)Some negative words said against bitcoin by some renowned personalities which make people loose their faith in BTC and they withdraw their money
2.) Hard fork also have their affect on BTC
3.) According to supply and demand of bitcoin in economy if sellers are more price falls and vice-versa
There are some other reasons also which cause downfall to its price
3708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: October 26, 2017, 11:39:25 AM
My biggest regret is when I got introduced to this back in 2012, I tried to buy £200 worth, the platform was down and I never bothered, just recently woke up to it again at over £4k per coin, it is a physiological thing where I don't want to buy at that price.
Many here will say that we regret it because we do not invest in it when the price was low but i will say that there is no regret about BTC as I am making money out of it and will continue in future also.We must not regert anything about it instead grab the oppurtunity now and enjoy in future. Smiley
3709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: October 17, 2017, 02:30:53 PM
Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh
Its nice idea to store BTC for our future genertion but its highly risky to store amount in your wallet as one may loose his/her private key and password it turns your wallet unaccesible and you loose your amount but at the same time it it will make children aware about Bitcoin and then price of BTC will go to moon
3710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: October 17, 2017, 02:08:31 PM
I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently.
But I have to admit I'm a little worried about the long term future of btc.
The major problems if the currency still haven't been dealt with. I see 2 major ones:

-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make.
-The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable.
-And maybe others that I'm not aware of.

Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.

All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.
Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies and it will always remain the same in future also.despite of launching of differnt hard forks people prefer BTC as they trust in it.If take a look back we notice that bitcoin value has grown 10-15 times the value of other currencies.I suggest not to switch to ETH because its price is $322 and at the same time BTC price is $5500 and it will grow in future so have faith in BTC and make it more popular.
3711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: October 17, 2017, 01:57:41 PM
I was just wondering that is it possible to earn steady income without going 8-5 hours regular office job.. I mean you got some bitcoin in your wallet .. are you the enough for living ?

another option is to regularly working on Bitcoin related trading/activites .. that earn you enough amt of monthly income ..

what's your opinion

Note: this is not for poor fellow who just discovered bitcoin or altcoins
Yes you can earn a good amount by working on BTC related activities only if you have complete knowledge and skills regarding it and if you lack these skills  then relying completely on bitcoin will not help you.So it should be taken as an extra source of income and taking into consideration its volatility there is always a risk.Do you office job along with working on bitcoin and enjoy your life Smiley
3712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 16, 2017, 12:33:23 PM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!
Yes it is very much risky if you turn your full money into Bitcoin as it is highly volatile and prices are fluctuating each minute with great variation.keeping it in bank will give it intrest at a nominal rate but investing in BTC will give huge profits but still there is risk involved. There is saying that higher risk higher profit  and coming november fork will also have effect on BTC.So invest a moderate amount.
3713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: October 16, 2017, 12:22:10 PM
It seems that experts say that Bitcoin 'Here to Stay,' But Banks Could Disappear.

"TheStreet: How do you think FinTech will impact the way banks operate?

Frank Schwab: Banks either react on, or they will disappear. Anyway, the consolidation of the banking industry accelerates as the behaviour of people changes. Some banks will benefit from [FinTech], some will be pushed to the back end, and some will disappear."
http://www.thestreet.com/story/13419089/1/bitcoin-here-to-stay-but-banks-could-disappear-says-fintech-expert.html

What's your read on that?

Yes it might happen in future but it seems not to early as people prefer fiat money and BTC is not so popular among individuals and due to price instability people fear it and prefer to save in banks.
3714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 14, 2017, 11:49:09 AM
Bitcoins has regained its strong value, As of this posting, the value per 1 bitcoin is exactly 4786.59 US Dollar.   Soon we will see more ways people can squeeze the most out of bitcoins.   Since the advent of the internet to be profit oriented in the 90's, no one would possibly have imagined that the Internet would breed Facebook, Google, Uber, online streaming, etc. This is where we are with the Blockchain now. There exists a whole world of opportunities out there.

These opportunities have the unrighteous users of this cryptocurrencies to also used its advantage. We cannot deny for a fact that cyber crimes have been committed since the birth of the internet.  Once, stealing was done with having guns, now, robbers can easily hack bank accounts or counterfeit credit cards to their advantage.  Sooner, cryptocurrencies can be used to pay crimes such as services for creating counterfeit birth certificates and this is not far from happening.  Actually, the US has already cases on this matter.

Another is the crime of buying illegal-drug emporium that used Bitcoin as a medium of exchange, politicians and policymakers took notice. Criminals, it turns out, really like bitcoins, which can be exchanged for nefarious purposes on the "Dark Web," with complete anonymity and, it seems, impunity.

Although, there are some articles that i have read regarding criminals cannot hide behind bitcoins, still, there are difficulties tracing transactions using cryptocurrencies. That is why law enforcement agencies should have a to change their procedures to pursue criminals who make use of the latest technology to commit crimes. Let the law find a way to evolve to address new tech challenges. There is no reason to expect that law enforcement won’t be able to get a handle on this new cybercrime.
Bitcoin has gained popularity in past few years but there are negative aspects also.As BTC is decentralized currency it is impossible to trace it so now it is being used in illegal crimes.Illegal goods are purchased with help of bitcoin and  criminals do their business online which poses threat to cyber-security.Still some agencies say that they can trace it but is impssible to do so.cyber cell needs to  do much improvements if they want to stop illegal crimes.

Why are you using a bank to pay a transaction?
3716  Economy / Economics / Re: A mild version of China's real estate collapse on: March 06, 2015, 04:54:21 PM
Prediction: China won't suffer a housing collapse, or recession.
3717  Economy / Economics / Re: Catastrophic Meltdown Coming to America - Doug Casey on: March 06, 2015, 04:52:44 PM
Another useless prediction. If you can't provide a date, time, some actionable information there is no purpose in your prediction. It's not even a prediction, it's nonsense FUD. People on BCT have been predicting a crisis and crash for the past 3 years, where is it?
3718  Economy / Economics / Re: Dollar coming to an end on: December 16, 2014, 05:56:49 AM
The Dollar, the Euro and the Yen are losing value, more people understand that they need a global currency that they can trust, maybe Gold or Bitcoin?
Hahahahaha

Dude. What was the price of Bitcoin January 1st, and what is it today? Are you blind?
3719  Economy / Economics / Re: Are investment in US stock market an investment in oil? on: December 12, 2014, 05:23:53 AM
No.
3720  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin taxation ?? on: December 10, 2014, 11:52:57 PM
I don't want to blow your mind, but there isn't a conspiracy here. It's just taxes.
