3701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: October 17, 2020, 08:56:08 AM
Having a loss in gambling is a normal thing but not learning any lessons from it will make you lose more from gambling. Sometimes gamblers become greedy or sometimes emotions come into play which is the major cause of loses in gambling. Gamblers need to overcome these things as then only there will be more chances for the gamblers to win.
That's very true. Greed is often the reason for huge losses and only Self control can help us overcome greed.
Having self control is key a concept in gambling because that is what helps us control our losses.
Many gamblers are incapable of this and end up losing more than they could afford. It is the Greed that overcomes their capability.
I have myself encountered losses but I try to control myself from over gambling and this certainly helps me to limit my losses.
Well, greed is always a part of the gamblers. From my little years in gambling thousands of losers are those who can't shun greed while gambling. Sometimes, greed can be to the advantage of the gambler but mostly sometimes end in disadvantage. I have made some good greed while I ended up in advantage, still remember that: I was able to make closely $100 profit back in 2019. Though, this was purely base on luck and not on my skills as i can remember. Conclusively, having a greed isn't bad but ensuring to have self control over your greed.
My greedy nature will always exist in people who gamble but I think if you are greedy you will experience your own losses because sometimes you cannot control our emotions and are affected by the conditions of the gambling place which ultimately make us addicted and have difficulty getting away from the gambling place, even though You have been able to get as much profit as you have mentioned, but I am sure that at this time you are having difficulty getting that much profit again because the gambling place will always be improved the script so that it will be more difficult to win games at the gambling place.
3702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My best investment strategy on: October 17, 2020, 08:40:25 AM
I don't think this is an investment strategy but one of the best strategy to make money in cryptocurrency space. Knowing the best time to buy, sell or hold is one of the qualities of an experienced trader.

Well no one would be able to time the market. Only thing what we should be aware of the swing is that how does the market look form the current scenario is on positive or sell side and accordingly if we can place the trades you would end up making money. Though one would not be always be able to make profits in trades at times be ready to book even loses as it is part of it.

well I totally agree with what you say because the movement of cryptocurrency prices on the exchange just happens no one can guarantee that at certain times it will go up or down because so far the whales who have very much money for trading capital play an important role in the price of cryptocurrency. so if you want to invest, I think you have to look for a trusted coin like bitcoin and believe the price of bitcoin can reach more expensive than the current price.
3703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will UNISWAP become a centralized exchange? on: October 17, 2020, 06:50:29 AM
For large volume swaps the fee looks like a huge one, and the team has already mentioned about their further development and taking the fee down to 0.005% which is quite good in my opinion. Just on the fee we can't come to a conclusion that uniswap is going to be centralized in the future.

The way uniswap exchange is being developed has made it reach high compared to most other DEX available for trading. Hope the decentralized network with lower swapping fee will be the future of uniswap than going centralized.
It should be that the transaction costs that have been reduced very much like that can provide a lot of potential that can be obtained and can provide a lot of profit because usually the price of coins between exchanges has differences that can be used to make a profit, but if you do long-term trading like that it will provide The risk is very high so it should only be done by professional traders who are used to trading on Uniswap and other exchange places.
3704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: October 16, 2020, 04:41:41 PM
that depends on which group you are speaking of. Some of them are filled with real people while there are others filled with bots and fake accounts. If you are invested in any alt its imperative that you check their telegram just try to avoid echo chamber. They are quick to spot when there isn't any opposing voice or valid comments are getting deleted.
but usually there are some bots that invite you to enter the group and that will only make our telegram full of garbage that is difficult to clean, at least there must be a way to delete all groups or channels in one click so that it can simplify and solve the problem of telegrams that are full with trash.
3705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc vs ethereum on: October 16, 2020, 04:36:12 PM
If that is the case as you said ETH should have taken over now.
but the fact is btc is still strong in the lead, we will never know the extent of development that will occur in altcoins, but still the one who will be at the top is btc.
ethereum is still having trouble taking over rank from bitcoin, you also know that it seems impossible to be number one because ethereum's currently circulating supply is too much so when the price becomes expensive there will be a hard dump, if this is the case then ethereum can be say you have no chance to beat bitcoin.
3706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron and Waves team up to develop DeFi projects on: October 16, 2020, 04:24:14 PM
I don't think it would be an effective partnership. Waves is already a drowning boat and Tron is also having one after another scam and scam accusations.
Tron at the moment surely is an effective blockchain. Cheaper and faster transactions for tokens, a good alternative to Ethereum but the gambling token of tron is suffering from the gambling dapps reputation over it. And the ever surrounding controversy around it's founder. I would still wait and see how they move.
When looking at TRON I only use it to make transactions between exchanges and take advantage of price differences that can still be profitable, I like TRON because of its very cheap transaction fees and very fast delivery so there is no need to use bitcoin to transact cryptocurrency, at least behind Tron's weakness there are still advantages of tron that can be excelled.
3707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legit or not on: October 15, 2020, 11:43:02 PM
Until now there are still those who doubt bitcoin, I think this is ridiculous because how could it be that if bitcoin is not legitimate it can have a very expensive price from the price of 2009 which is still very cheap to increase the price in 2017 to more than $ 18k, is that still not enough to provide do you believe that bitcoin is legit? many use blockchain technology in various companies and blockchain technology the owner is bitcoin, so your OP must know that bitcoin is very LEGIT.
3708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which casinos have IP blocks in place for restricted countries? on: October 15, 2020, 11:37:42 PM
Likes majority of the sites in which not allowing US and UK players.
Yep, especially in US, that's because the government prohibits online gambling there. We can easily find the answer by googling. I'm not surprised if gambling online is restricted in US since it is also the same happening in most crypto investment. Anyway, something that makes me interested in this restriction is no countries in ASIA on the list, except Turkey (the area is located both in Asia & Europe). Does it mean all countries in Asia welcome (friendly) to online gambling?

I think from my knowledge in ASIA no one provides regulations on gambling it's just that everything is emphasized that when gambling has a very high risk and it is a personal responsibility not the state so that until now many are still running the gambling business.
3709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: October 15, 2020, 11:23:32 PM
I can hardly imagine a scenario like this. Even if this happens, it can only have the opposite effect. Indeed, due to the increase in restrictions on cryptocurrency, the demand for it will also increase.
Such precedents have already been met. Bans always have very controversial consequences, including an increase in crime. Any government must understand this and act in the most productive way so as not to create imbalances.

the prohibition of using cryptocurrency in some countries may be due to the influence of unstable price movements and security when transactions are being made, because we all know that there are many cases of theft and loss of assets in cryptocurrency so that it will make a country think longer when it wants to provide legality to use of cryptocurrency.
3710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YFI and YFII on: October 15, 2020, 01:07:05 PM
I just recently read a news that Andre Cronje, the main developer of YFI have already quit managing YFI, this might probably mean the end to the project, it first started to the problem raised from EMN, and followed by domino effect market price decline of the projects in which he is associated with. I see the potential to the project YFI to push the value of Decentralized Finance, but without the leading DeFi now, I don't think others will be worthy to be trusted anymore. Unless, projects made by Vitalik and his team shows up in the market to revive DeFI again.

I wouldn't say that YFI is a leading DeFi project. There are many other projects that started with decentralized finance long before YFI was created. Because DeFi is not just yield farming. For example, there is Synthetix, Compound and projects like that. DeFi will continue developing whether YFI fails or not because it is far bigger than just yield farming.
This YFI project does have a high price and can create a very good sensation in these conditions because it has a very limited supply and unfortunately it can enter a large exchange like Binance so it will become a place of price manipulation, from such conditions it is very good if used because it has strong support and will have price movements that can provide a lot of profit.
3711  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: October 15, 2020, 12:28:05 PM
The open blockchain platform Harmony has announced that it will start supporting staking from now, in an effort to create a blockchain-based infrastructure.
source: https://www.harmony.one/
Of course, as I know, there are many exchanges that support staking.
I want to fully understand what is staking and what are the best coins and platforms that we can do staking and give good profits?

My most important question: Which is better, staking or investing?

depending on the type of coin, if the coin has an advantage and its value will increase, of course, staking is preferred, but it will be difficult because staking will continue to increase the total supply. the opposite of the rising price principle. so you have to choose wisely at least the investment would be better in my opinion if according to the coins you mention.
unfortunately some coins that provide options for staking so they are coins that have a very large supply volume, while they do not dare to give options on coins that have a very limited supply because there may be a risk of price inflation and so on.

so if that's the case then when I have a lot of capital then I prefer to invest in coins that have a very limited supply because it will give a lot of profit when prices rise as happened to bitcoin and YFI prices which have just appeared in the cryptocurrency world but already has an expensive price due to the influence of a very limited supply and the comparison is much less than bitcoin.
3712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos with free withdrawal fees on: October 14, 2020, 06:32:10 PM
Just checked my wolf.bet account. Yes it has no withdrawal fee, but they charge 0.0002 BTC to cover transaction fees. So it does not look that withdrawal is really free, even though 0.0002 BTC is nothing.
The transaction fee is the withdrawal fee, so you can't say that “it has no withdrawal fee”. Maybe 0.0002 btc is nothing for you but something for a lot of gambler. Though we shouldn't complain about it cause most other casino takes same amount as withdrawal fee in btc. OP should remove wolf.bet from the list. Even they are taking more than 0.008 eth as withdrawal fee now. And all other coins have small cashout fee too.
I think the withdrawal fee from several exchanges will not always be fixed, it all depends on the conditions of transaction traffic and the price of a coin, when the price of the coin is expensive, the exchange value will also increase, so in my opinion if you want to make transactions using cryptocurrency coins I think it is more choose to use alternative coins such as XRP and others that have cheap exchange rates.
3713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the U.S. Presidential Election 2020 with Bitcoin on: October 14, 2020, 06:13:56 PM
I placed my bet a while ago on Sportsbet.io. It doesn't have the Trump and Biden options, but you can bet on the party winning the presidential elections, and given that the candidates have already been chosen, it's basically the same thing IMO. Moreover, in case, say, Trump doesn't make it due to COVID-19 or something like this, the main competitors will still be those of the Democratic and the Republican Party, so this bet feels safer than the bet on names. Here are the odds:

On Sportsbet.io you can also bet on the party that will win in a particular state if you're interested.
I think this gambling place is the safest place to participate in the new presidential election event in America, indeed the reason you use is right that when Trump is exposed to Covid they people expect their death and it seems that many don't like trump, the meaning is very clear. that trump will lose this election.
3714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Card Counting in Blackjack on: October 14, 2020, 05:47:48 PM
I have seen some online casino force people to bet in order to continue to watch/play a blackjack game (maximum a couple of games of absence).
It force the user to play more and for each round! It reduce at minimum the advantage of card counting.
However this is not a 100% method for win.
I think it can be used in a face-2-face playing were you are able to watch and not forced to gamble, but I am not sure it really worth the time/risk/effort.
although your explanation can be like that, But unfortunately there are some places where their card gambling uses more than 1 card slot, meaning that when the game round is over, it is inputted into the shuffling machine and after that it uses the cards that have been shuffled to be distributed to the participants, meaning that it will be very it is difficult to do card calculations or predictions.
3715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: October 14, 2020, 05:41:38 PM
I think tonight's game will be a good one and so even though I have been backing the Bills in all their games so far this season, tonight I am going against them and placed a bet on the Titans at the ML for some value. Good luck to all bettors having a bet tonight.

Congrats! That's another big bet you won. I watched a bit of it and it was interesting to see yet another upset. Didn't realize the Titans were undefeated all this time, and are now where the Bills were going into it at 4 and 0.

For next week Chiefs vs. Bills on Monday is going to be the most interesting game. Packers / Buccaneers on Sun will also be worth watching.
Kansas City Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills in terms of the performance of each club I think the chiefs have very good potential to win this match, I see from some predictions that it is also more towards the Chiefs so I'm sure Patrick Mahomes will lead and provide full support for the victory for the club.
3716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker talk - Specifically Hold'em - Hands and or strategy on: October 14, 2020, 05:27:39 PM
~

It was really nasty hands. Whenever he has Aces, someone hit a set . Whenever he got Kings, someone has Aces and such. Lots of brutal hands , you might just want to check it over

Getting pocket pair and shove is pretty much like coin flip, I have lose alot of hands like that as well. My aces got cracked one time against 23 suited, he nailed flush and I lose . Sometimes there is this slight itchy feelings before you click on that all in button , kinda telling you that your hands might lose but yeah cant really fold Aces or Kings especially when you need to increase your stack

indeed it is possible in some poker gambling places and others that use their card game the gambling owner has a bot or script system that can trigger the opponent to make big bets but cannot guarantee that he can win, there are often losses at poker gambling places like this , so I think I still have to be careful not to get carried away with emotions.
3717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is UniSwap the most powerful in the Defi market? on: October 13, 2020, 11:31:20 AM
The uniswap exchange itself is very powerful. Due to the fact that there was a free distribution of tokens, we are observing some correction, but but this exchange is advanced and I am going to buy back a little at key levels.
indeed at this time it is very strong and many people are using the uniswap exchange to make profits by taking advantage of the price differences that are on the exchange, but you must know that the transaction fees that are on this exchange are very high so you have to have a lot of capital and have to know the time right to buy and sell at this exchange.
3718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ClipX steals KYC data and shuts down on: October 13, 2020, 11:29:29 AM
My advise to bounty hunters:
1. Don't participate in any bounty without escrowed rewards.
2. Don't be in a rush to participate in every bounty that comes up.
3. Follow only trusted Bounty Managers.
4. DYOR on any project and don't rely on BMs. Most of them don't even research a project before going into contract with project team.

Anyone else got any advice for bounty hunters, especially the noobs among them?
I agree with point No. 4
Currently, there are so many bounty managers who only care about themselves and their team, regardless of the safety of their hunters. Therefore doing research first is very important.
View from the easiest such as website views, teams, partners, and white papers
I think if that happens then it is our own risk and it can be a risk of the steps chosen, but I have suggestions for bounty campaign participants so they can avoid scam projects so we can give suggestions to secure allocations for the participants. bounty campaign participants first, after that it can be shown that the allocation has been given and payment for the participants will definitely be given so that it will not disappoint the participants.
3719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most searched cryptocurrencies on Google on: October 13, 2020, 11:19:58 AM
Many people fall in love with bitcoin easily than any other cryptocurrencies in the market. Many investors has rated Bitcoin as the most largest and popular among others cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin is a decentralized worldwide. Many investors who are use to all those new project in the market, since they have tested bitcoin in the market, they have no choice than to use bitcoin to invest which is very good for investment.
Bitcoin used to be an ordinary currency that had no interest, but when many technologies implemented the blockchain system that only bitcoin had, it ended up making bitcoin prices very expensive, and of course the increase in bitcoin prices was not easy, it took a very long process to become this expensive. , so fortunately those of you who still have bitcoin include young investors who have become rich because of bitcoin.
3720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Risk attached with approve transaction on DAPP and DEX like uniswap on: October 13, 2020, 09:10:24 AM
Always make sure you approve the limited supply which needs to be changed from the default option which is unlimited.Yes there can be bugs but for now there is nothing so people are not having any issues until they face some.
well, maybe someday someone will be affected by that bug but fortunately it's still safe, because indeed such exchange technology has a very high risk because it directly uses a wallet to access the exchange.
