3701  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $318K by December 2021 on: November 24, 2020, 11:21:13 AM
I know that some people believe BTC can achieve much more than we have seen till this far. Just in 1 month the BTC went from somewhere around $11K to +$16K today.

CitiBank Managing Director believes BTC can touch $318K by December 2021. What do you think? Is this really possible?

Read article:
CitiBank Managing Director Says Bitcoin (BTC) Can Touch $318K By December 2021

Believe and yet concedes that he is not sure about his prediction, whatever tools or data he is using to come out with that prediction, I don;t it's realistic, the days it's just to short for Bitcoin to reach that level, it's very similar to what McAfee's prediction no data to come out that can prove that Bitcoin will reach that high at that year.
3702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Argentina raises Gambling tax on: November 24, 2020, 02:20:20 AM
https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/10471/argentina-raises-online-gambling-tax-to-5

Apparently Argentina just raised their gambling tax to 5%.
Quote
The Argentine Chamber of Deputies has passed a law that will increase the online gambling tax rate from 2% to 5% in 2021. The new law was added to the National budget proposed by Economy Minister Martín Guzmán. The tax will apply to any online betting transaction. There’s also a 10% rise for the companies that operate in low-taxation countries.

Apparently the industry was unregulated for a long time and the government now decided to go for it since they will aid in the future stability and improvement in the financial situation.

The industry according to them apparently is able to get 2.4 billion dollars worth of revenue and which is inclined to help the country , 95% of the tax is going to go to the province.

What are your thoughts on this ??

Is this good/bad , how would we be able to cope up with the governmental bodies increasing the gambling tax thus shutting down the small business causing problems for the long run.

- it was a little sudden to increase it to almost double. The government never even helped the industry for the sake of the argument.

It would not happen if we are not in Pandemic and Argentina is also suffering from high case of infection

I figure that they are going to use the funds coming from taxing the online gambling sites to the needs of the government to fight CoVid and to sustain their economy brought by the pandemic, every government needs money now.
3703  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]BambooDefi plagiarised whitepaper + hiring sock puppet accounts on: November 24, 2020, 12:22:13 AM
I am not convinced with the explanation from the team. So, I decided to do not to run their signature campaign. Escrow funds have been returned to the team. My bad, I failed to detect that issue before launching the campaign. Hope I would avoid such issues in the future.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

You have done the right, made the right decision not everyone is perfect or can even perfected looking at the project and easily tell if the project is legit or not, this is the reason why everyone's help is important in tracing and finding out if the project is legit.

I have supported the flag, the developer has a weak alibi he should have known that we are not supporting fake team and hiring of shills, for the project to move.
3704  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats to everyone for reaching $20k again. on: November 23, 2020, 12:21:29 PM
I'm just opening the post in advance.

It's been a long time HODLing, not selling a dime.

It's been worth it.

Cheers guys!

You did not mentioned the price you bought it, but every one are excited when will the price go to the $20,000 level in fact Coinmarketcap has launch a prediction contest on when will the price of Bitcoin reach $20000, individuals, groups and companies are all excited to reach another milestone after three years, it's like a new year day for all of us here in the community.
3705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a massive BTC dump? on: November 22, 2020, 01:04:50 PM
The community of investors are now prepared on a new all time high, we have seen a lot of progress in the past three years we are very much better than in 2017, where the community of investors are still struggling, I don't think there will be massive dump but there will be correction, correction but still the price of Bitcoin is still good for profit.
3706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All markets in 2020 on: November 22, 2020, 09:06:08 AM
As we all know we face so many circumstances in 2020,  that could have crashed bitcoin and alt coins market. Economy of many countries has down very fast. The covid-19 is still around. As this year is going to finish but i see many good changes in this time frame. In my opinion crypto performed very well is this time.

We are in a pandemic and yet Bitcoin is poised to another all time high, this is one of Bitcoin's biggest challenged this year or on it's existence, but so far the market and the community is very stable and and even making a big progress, if the market continue to move this way we will reach the highest adoption rate and Bitcoin will continue to move up.
3707  Economy / Speculation / Re: As we approach ATH what is different compared to 2017? on: November 22, 2020, 07:39:10 AM
By now investors have learned the volatility of the market, it's not about buying what you can, investors are now going long term, they know what to look, investors are now more aware pf correction, FUDS, FOMO, I don't think we'll have a massive dump after another all time high, the market is very much different compared three years ago, the pandemic did not stop the market from gong up, I don't think another all time high will.
3708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some till don't understand crypto and bitcoin on: November 22, 2020, 04:49:52 AM
I don't see the source of the article so I extract it on Cointelegram
Crypto will be useful but Bitcoin is hard to understand, says SoftBank CEO

What he don't understand is the volatility, he is an investor of Bitcoin since 2018
Quote
Son reportedly bought Bitcoin when it was near its historic high of $20,000 in December 2017. As previously reported, Son allegedly lost millions by selling the cryptocurrency in early 2018 when the Bitcoin price subsequently started plummeting.
.

We can understand where he is coming he is a victim of FOMO buying and selling at the wrong time.
3709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was told about a private coin sale, is it a scam? on: November 22, 2020, 03:40:35 AM
Some one gave me a tip to buy JSTB. I can not find any information about it online though.

The exchange they told me to sign up to buy it from is https://www.iedgex.com

I can not find anything on that either. The website also seems extremely poorly made.

Does anyone have any information on the coin or site?

There is no information about this exchange on Coinmarketcap and Coingecko, so there is a very high probability that the exchange is a scam site, do not believe in private sale through invite, developers should be transparent and must not hide anything, do check about their project and check if the developers are real people and their platform is unique.
3710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Life, gambling and trials. on: November 22, 2020, 02:24:18 AM

This topic is just for fun, tell a little about what you experienced while you were gambling, just to exchange opinions and bad and good things that you have experienced while playing in gambling.

My worse experience in gambling are all about dealing with my losses, I experienced putting all my salary on online gambling casinos, asking a friend for a loan because I feel that I can get back my losses, glad that my friend turn down my request, I am pass all these and just gamble to be entertained and comes to realize that you should not put everything you've got on gambling.
3711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Great news for XRP coin holders? on: November 21, 2020, 09:58:24 PM
Another reason to hype XRP by their bag holders, I have seen so many post and threads created here asking and declaring that XRP will replace Bitcoin, it's an airdrop it's free money I'm pretty sure it will have a good impact for XRP short term.
3712  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Thinking of joining the HEX campaign? Think again. on: November 20, 2020, 02:09:42 AM

Final assessment: HEX is a worthless shit token led by a douchebag, but it is not a scam.

It's a matter of time, before investors realize this, they should be hurry to sense that it is going worthless so they can get out in profit, the developer is good in making hype on this project, I also don't believe it's a scam, it's more of a pump and dump coin, well anyway awareness while holding a pump and dump coin will save you from being a bag holder, be quick to get out at the right time.
3713  Economy / Economics / Re: Mexico's billionaire invests in Bitcoin on: November 19, 2020, 04:29:43 PM
One advantage of those who are rich is the domino effect which is likely to occur when they declare hot things.  I really believe that Pliego's statement will make many other rich people start to be interested in Bitcoin.  it is very likely that Bitcoin will pass $ 20k before the end of the year, this is really beautiful news..

People will always follow those people who are in power, they will imitate and emulate whales, big people and billionaires, it's more like a domino effect so if one billionaire or group of whales or highly reputable personality announced about his investment in the Cryptocurrency expect something dramatic to happen in the market, and more so if these are group of whales or rich people.
3714  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ongoing bounty campaign on: November 19, 2020, 02:55:16 PM
Hello there, used to be a bounty hunter for some time, but haven’t participated for about a year! Does anybody knows any qualified bounty campaigns, worth participating in?

The only bounty worth participating is those listed in the service section where you are guaranteed to earn trade able coin, bounty campaign like Bitvest and 777Coin has been running for 100 weeks already, participating in altcoins bounty campaign is very risk and do not guaranty rewards, you are like wasting your time and effort if you happens to land in a scam bounty.
3715  Other / Off-topic / Re: in what business would you invest ? on: November 18, 2020, 02:28:35 AM
In what business would you invest ?

considering the current situation we are in ,what business do you think it will have success ?

What business do you think it will be the next Coca Cola, McDonalds,Tesla etc ?

Restaurant, Food delivery and technology that are related to communications is the sure thing in this time of pandemic and even after the pandemic in the time of the pandemic this is the industry that delivers the most, we have seen how Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing service you can use to virtually meet with others become a multi million profit industry in times of pandemic.
The food delivery service is very much in demand in times of the pandemic too.
3716  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I suspect that KittieFIGHT is scam on: November 18, 2020, 01:11:41 AM
If they are proven to be the same company I think you are right that they need to give you back the new cryptocurrencies they have relaunch. If there old ones failed the investors the relaunch should be something given for them since the old investors already gave in to the old project that failed. Nevertheless we need to hear their side of the story first maybe we aren't getting something here since a company doesn't disappear and appear all of a sudden with a new cryptocurrency bearing the same name.

I have experience on some of the tokens I'm holding one of this is the scam coin LIKER , they have changed their smart contract without informing their investors and bounty hunters, and their telegram channel is now not accessible.
they should honor their first contract and replace of swap it with a new one or their reputation will be in trouble and they will have a hard time generating support.
3717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I could consider staking if .... on: November 17, 2020, 11:12:03 PM
Guys is there any way to stake coins in your very own wallet without sending to another wallet? Is there any project or blockchain that allows staking in door only? Please share because I can't sleep at night sending my coins to other wallet for staking returns

In the olden days there are a lot of coins that you can stake without sending them to other wallets one example of this which I stake and made good profit was Chesscoin, but since the creation of the smart token, developrs stopped creating stake based coin and instead opted to smart contract based token.

For reference check this article for some of the best stake based coin that are still profitable

Note: this is just for reference and the article is a bit older

3718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we getting better over the years on: November 16, 2020, 01:37:42 PM
We are ten times better than when Cryptocurrency was launched, there's a lot of Cryptocurrency ATM in many countries and look on the search engine volume on Bitcoin research and other Coin searches, and the volume of the market is very huge, Cryptocurrency is everywhere and look at PayPal now they have integrated it to their platform and Facebook just attempted to launch their own Cryptocurrency, we are huge and better this time around.
3719  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: November 15, 2020, 03:21:41 AM
Good day,
forgive a newbie question please. I am new on the bitcoin scene and I am also pretty fresh in economics. I am learning, I suppose that is what I wanted to say. I was an ignorant for a way to long and now I trying to gain knowledge to be a little wiser. I got a bit lost because of the pandemic and I wonder is it good to invest in bitcoin and stock market nowadays or should I wait and see what is the market response going to be. I was pretty sure I got a hang of it but the situation changes so dynamically that it is hard for me to follow.

I'm surprised that it turns out good for the market, I thought the market will crash big time, everyone was worried but it managed to bounce back, thanks to the whales and industry leaders, they made a big difference of supporting the market during it's bad times, right now it's still doing good in the market and soon the pandemic will be over, I like the scenario after we are back to normal.
3720  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Second Uniswap Airdrop! on: November 15, 2020, 02:49:54 AM
I think uniswap will surprise us in future with another Airdrop , but not that way .
I hope so, bcz i didnt benefit from the first .

You can still benefit by giving liquidity on the pairs here, have you see the price of UNI token now it's now pumping it's now going on $4 the highest it got was $8, there's a possibility that it can go to the moon, the volume is going up now, there's no stopping UNI token now.
