3701  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: France to Introduce Lower Tax Rates for Cryptocurrency Transactions on: April 29, 2018, 11:21:11 AM
Better late than never. The classifying cryptocurrecy transactions as income tax is one of the most dumb misconceptions in cryptocurrency trading. They should based a similar structure on what taxes they are putting on stock exchange transactions. A flat rate of 19% compared to a 45% tax rate per transaction is better and we might see some more trading action coming from a developed country. Which means a better or higher price movement overall in the market. But let us not expect that this good news will have an instant effect in the market.
3702  Economy / Speculation / Re: 82% of Institutional Crypto Investors Believe Bitcoin Price Has Bottomed on: April 29, 2018, 09:32:13 AM
Institutional investors that have already invested in cryptoassets and are long-term bullish on the industry believe that the Bitcoin price has already bottomed out and will end the year above where it is currently trading.
I guess that already explains why. People who have already bought Bitcoin will of course not say anything bad against their own investments, it is like talking trash to your own property. And with them being an institutional investors they know that they have some kind of influence even on the words they are blabbering in their mouths, and they are obviously using it in order to increase the price of Bitcoin. If 80% believes that the only way of Bitcoin is up then it is a big word for the small investors enough for them to be convince.
3703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If United states legalize Bitcoin? on: April 28, 2018, 06:44:18 PM
The first question to answer is Bitcoin even illegal in U.S.A in the first place? Because last time I checked the State of Arizona has passed a bill allowing their residents to pay their taxes not only with Bitcoin but other cryptocurrecies. Remember what isn't classified as illegal is legal, just like cocaine before which you can even transport it in planes. The same as China and India, China is the biggest country where a lot of people think Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is illegal which is really annoying as they are not doing their research and news related to China will most likely be FUD. India as well, Bitcoin as a payment method is not allowed but other things such as trading and mining is allowed in their country, you can even exchange it to their fiat without breaking any law.
3704  Economy / Economics / Re: Peer to Peer Exchange on: April 28, 2018, 07:02:02 AM
I don't think there is because there is no money to be made in that kind of service. You are looking for a social media type of exchange which is hard enough as Facebook and Twitter is already doing its thing also if you are looking for an exchange they won't have any kind of commission as the transaction would be person to person. So if you are thinking that this kind of service will exist even in the future then think again as clearly no one will be willing to make one if they know generating money will be hard.
3705  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-26] Malta’s Cabinet Approves Cryptocurrency Bill on: April 26, 2018, 06:19:51 PM
I hope that this three bills will pass on both house because if they don't it would just be left as a bill only. And judging by how it goes where the bill was proposed by the cabinet I think that it has a small chance of having no revisions on both houses, it will also depend on where this politicians have allegiances too. If this country wants to move forward with cryptocurrencies they must set aside on their differences on work together to create these bills as laws. If they are successful it would add weight in influencing other European countries to have some sort of regulation regarding cryptocurrencies.
3706  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto world vs Fulltime job? to establish better life. on: April 26, 2018, 05:44:27 PM
If you can keep both then keep both of them as long as you can, but if you need to choose only one then quite trading. But I doubt that you won't be able to manage trading with a job I mean their are many ways to trade and not all of it requires your full time on it. Trading style such as position trading is still applicable even on a volatile market such as the cryptocurrency market. Money won't be a problem as long as you have a job and time can be always manage and you can maximize it with the right trading style.
3707  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollercoin - the online bitcoin mining simulator on: April 26, 2018, 11:48:28 AM
Well it does look like a cloud mining site for people interested in games. It is not the first time I've seen this. Cloud Mining sites shrouded to look like a game can also target the market who are also into some kind of faucet. And why did you even post it in the gambling section of the forum? This kind of game does not involve any kind of bet, it only involves buying of "mining power" to earn "passive income" and of course the money will absolutely come from the pockets of other members.
3708  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and AI will improve the world economy on: April 26, 2018, 10:49:34 AM
Isn't that what technology do? Aside from improving lives they also improve the development of a country overall. So I would have to say yes that they can definitely move us forward but I would have to disagree with your idea towards one world currency, there is absolutely no benefit and use to it. There is even no problem that can be solve if we invent a one world currency it will only create problems instead of solutions. One of the big problems here is of course the control of the supply of that currency, we all know how power hungry this big countries are and controlling most of the supply will mean a control in the overall economy which is really bad.
3709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Former Paypal CEO "bitcoin biggest ever scam" on: April 26, 2018, 10:21:01 AM
Hahahaha somebody's bitter they missed the boat.
Why would he be bitter? His salary might bigger than what you earn in a whole year. The CEO of Paypal might be giving some negative opinion to Bitcoin as it is technically their competition as a payment method and with the news that Ebay might soon replace Paypal as an official partner in their website the CEO's job is actually on the line if he supported BTC in any kind of way even on words so he might need to be careful on the words coming out his mouth. If I am a CEO I wouldn't say good things to the competition either.
3710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Update: Dropping After Reaching a High of $9,736 on: April 26, 2018, 08:57:50 AM
It's a bear trap..just keep Hodling. If anything, use the current dip to buy more of your favorite coins.
A bear trap is is different from a correction loismanny88, and right now it doesn't look like a trap because we are staying in this minor trend for awhile unlike a bear trap where BTC will most obviously bounce back. Bitcoin have hit all their new supports which obviously make Bitcoin vulnerable again going down even further than what we are currently seeing, it may even fall down below 8,000$. I would say this would be normal judging on how quickly Bitcoin rise up. Bitcoin's recovery will now depend on bulls want to take control again.
3711  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 26, 2018, 04:16:22 AM
As expected BTC go down from its first realistic attempt to reach 10,000$. Reaching 9,700$ before correcting is a good thing to see as I wouldn't be comfortable if BTC decides to  reach 10,000$ first or greater before it corrects. RSI is on a Hidden Bullish Divergence but I wouldn't be surprised if it still goes down way below 8,800$ before it starts going back to 10,000$.
3712  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-24] Bitcoin Price Finally Hits $9,000 on: April 25, 2018, 05:41:09 AM
Now that's what I am talking about
Code:
Now we are waiting for Bitcoin's next all-time high

Will it happens soon? I estimate that in the next 24 hours, we will probably see the 5 digits again. The only thing I am concerned about is stability, the price should sustain in +$10k.

Can we say that we are out of the woods if we get to $10K?

I don't know if we are going to get to $10K mark at the end of the day. Maybe we can encounter some resistance around $9700. But the market is really on the positive move so if will just be a matter of time before another mental barrier can be overwhelm by the bulls thus inching closer to the most sought $10K again.

Feels good to see bitcoin price touching it again after such a long time of waiting. But it is still a long way to go to try and test another all-time-high. It will be tough replicating last years performance, but who know's what the future will bring to all of us.
Oh it hit more than 9,700$ and now its going into a minor correction but can potentially be a big one when it does not start climbing back up soon. This could be seen as people have started liquidating their long positions and they might think that this is also a good time to short BTC again. I am not optimistic as what other traders are seeing so far, many have seen that by going up 9,450$ we have broken the down trend channel but as of right now we are back at it again.
3713  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion : Merit Jail on: April 24, 2018, 08:14:07 PM
The problem I see here is that the default board where everyone can post would be a breeding ground for merit. Obviously it won't solve anything as if they know that a certain board in the forum has more merits to receive then it won't matter to them that they cannot post on other boards. Their main goal is to get merit in order for them to rank up. Limiting where they can post on the forum will not be a problem to them just as long they can post on that default board where they can get merits.
3714  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does war affect the price of bitcoin? on: April 24, 2018, 02:05:10 PM
If it only affects two countries then I don't think there would be any bad effect at all. And this what we call "war" against in Syria only affects one place which is Syria. Syrians are not sending any troops in U.S. Soil as there enemy is also within their country and I don't even know why Trump wants to wage war against a country they are not directly affected. If a lot of countries are affected where multiple places are hit with the war then I don't see any people holding their Bitcoin as food and water is needed and liquidating their assets is needed for them to satisfy high demands, therefore prices of Bitcoin will go down.
3715  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAIR-DICE.COM - COOL gaming site FREE BITCOIN/DOGECOIN/LITECOIN FAUCET on: April 24, 2018, 09:49:01 AM
Very similar to dead site Pocket Dice.
The same animation, same sound and very similar design.
There is a problem with slow refresh in "my bets" when I have spam - "Roll the dice".
Please also check Time in "my bets", there is show "%T".
I have also problem with click on bet id with my opera, or there is not any info to show?

Hi LuckyLuke1,

Thank you for the feedback.
There is no connection between us and the dead site pocketdice.
We wrote the entire site from scratch...
We will fix the issue with the %T in my bets section, and the user info - thanks !

Even though what you are claiming is true that there is no connection between your gambling site and pocket-dice the similarities are still making people insecure, your site looks like the dead scam gambling site which makes other people think you are affiliated to it. If I were you I would make some changes in my own website in order to avoid confusion and stop members from connecting you to pocket-dice. This I think is  needed step in order for your site to progress in the forum.
3716  Other / Meta / Re: Merit became a business. What to do? on: April 24, 2018, 07:42:56 AM
Merit trading seems severe right now as the circulation of merit is so small, But think how it will look in 12 months. The initial sMerit will of all deteriorated and only the new sMerit every month will be in circulation, DT's need to keep tagging the most blatant cases and the Sources then need to ignore those members, then the problem will be solved..
The new sMerit being generated by Merit sources will be the only ones existing in the coming months ones all other non-merit sources has exhausted all of their sMerits to giveaway. But even if that happens half of those sMerits received will be sendable to other members, so as half of those again and again. As long as we are active giving merits to quality post and not hoarding it for ourselves it will be sufficient to the forum, the admins are also actively adding more merit sources to the forum.

As for the people making merits as a business, I don't think that tagging them is necessary because it is a harsh penalty for them. If this is possible I am thinking of permanently putting them on a block list in the merit system so they they are not able to send or receive any merits as a form of punishment. They could also be suspended for their actions if the admins think of this as a necessary solution.
3717  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 24, 2018, 06:36:50 AM
BTC finally broke the 9,200$ resistance and has establish a support in that area. Bitcoin needs to stay above it in order to continue being bullish. The problem I see now is that Bitcoin is currently forming an ascending wedge which is a bearish reversal and it might complete between the 9,350$ - 9,500$ level, But if Bitcoin goes above 9,500$ then the formation would be invalid. RSI is definitely overbought in short term periods so this is adding some weight in the bearish reversal. Keep your eyes active on the prices as Bull might sell their long positions.
3718  Economy / Economics / Re: Stanford University Business Full-Time Cryptocurrency Course on: April 23, 2018, 05:32:16 PM
I believe this became a possibility because of the online courses being offered by some online program of a school, which now I don't remember. Obviously cryptocurrency as a subject will be included as a elective class as a lot of students are interested in it , it is inevitable to have one. Just like how Korea have their own college for Pro Gaming athletes/students as a whole program. Universities right now are identifying what is being talk about and what is greatly affecting people's lives and Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology is one of them.
3719  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Knowing your tax liability on: April 23, 2018, 04:02:41 PM
It seems to me that the more popular the topic will be how to avoid paying taxes. Why do people voluntarily agree to pay taxes on the use of cryptocurrencies? In order to pay taxes, the government must provide full support to users. We can't see. That's why I don't feel obligated to pay taxes.

Not all countries require you to pay taxes on your crypto trades. Most of them want to have a percentage of your crypto to fiat trades, but crypto to crypto transactions are outside their interest and jurisdiction. Personally, I will not voluntarily disclose my crypto addresses to government institutions and I won't share any information regarding my cryptocurrency transfers. I'm also against taxes in general, but I'm not going to go to war with a bully that is much stronger than me. That's why if you trade for fiat and your country demands taxes it's either pay up or change the country.
My view about tax is really just an obligation which it isnt really should comes to a point on where we do against it since we do know that it do really help a certain countries economy for it to progress.Im a tax payer but would only be deducted to my day stable job.For now cryptocurrency things like exchange coins to fiat doesnt still have any tax being implemented. For some countries you are liable to have deductions but im sure sooner or later government would really have such act.
It is not whether you feel obligated or not, having a tax liability is a obligation itself to your country and to your fellow citizens. It may sound bad depending on how your country manages your fund but even so tax is the lifeblood of a nation and without their main source of income your country might suffer economically speaking. For most countries they are paying a fixed rate when it comes to capital gains tax which means whether you are rich or poor you are still paying the same cut as what the other men is paying, this shows that not all taxes gives burden to the citizen as taxes are not created to give burden in the first place.

will you STOP quoting that scam links bot?
if you do,remove the link, don't help the scammer to promote it
jeez, people, this thread is not self moderated, try to think for a second not just seize the opportunity to post for the sake of posting  /end rant
It seems like the original post of the potential phishing site has been remove by a moderator but due to the quotation several members have done the links are still existing in at least 2 pages of the thread. This kind of posts where the member does not think first makes other members fall victim. The sad thing about this is if members fall victim to the phishing site they will blame it on Bitsler which is wrong thing to do.
