3701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the Ethereum Gas Fee go down? on: February 13, 2021, 10:16:45 AM
Honestly i don't know when the ETH gas fee go down because there are many platforms using high gas fee in the network.
As long as they still using high amount of gas fee, the others will have to follow to using high gas fee too.
Maybe small traders better to using other blockchain than Ethereum so they won't lose too much funds from the gas fee.
It gonna go down when sharding implemented this layer 1 gonna increase the transactions per second like very significantly but we're still long way to go.
Honestly ETH gas fee won't go down maybe in few months forward because the price of ETH also affect the fee a lot.
If we expect the gas fee to go down significantly that also means we expect the price to go down. Otherwise with the existence of dapps and many that add demand to the blockchain it will hardly go down.
Dapp, DeFi and other projects linked with ethereum had jam-packed the network thus prompting the surge in the price of the transaction gas, the only way out or way forward is to incorporate the improved ethereum into the network however miners will continue to ride on the with the present high fees to earn huge profits to the detriment of teeming users of eth who have to paid exorbitant gas fees.
Personally I don't expect the fee to go down bearing in mind that we are in a bullish market.

Leicester City versus Liverpool big match maybe and moment for Liverpool could wake up after destroy by Manchester City last week, I know many match left to be champion for Primer League although Liverpool have little chance than Manchester City but I believe Liverpool keep have chance to get back trophy after success last year finish for the first standing position. Now look hard after many times Liverpool failed to get three points and the first time they have loss on Anfield stadium from Burnley and Manchester City.
they will have a chance if defeat all the top classmen, I want to be realistic now, In this session hard for Liverpool to get a trophy, they had a chance for the champion league either if they change the strategy and the injured player got fast recovery.
Liverpool should start winning their matches now else their chances and hope of clinching a top 4 EPL spot this season will be shattered its glaring now that winning the league is no longer feasible going by the recent form of Man City in the league meanwhile other teams like Leciester, Man Utd, Chelsea, Everton and West Ham are vying to clinch a top 4 ticket after the league title hope is no longer in their reach.
The two team will slug it out competively today and win to any of the two team will booast their chances of mounting pressure on Man City.
3703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My 1 month testing trade result $500 profit on: February 12, 2021, 09:02:24 PM
You started trading well on a good note, earning such a massive profit within a span of days shows that you are a good traser  I hope to see your consistent profits earned in subsequent days ahead your hardwork can serve as a motivation for us particularly traders who wanted to start trading with a small capital, with this result I wish I can also replicate your trading strategy and also make profits accordingly.
3704  Other / Meta / Re: Request for Nigeria local board on: February 12, 2021, 03:46:30 PM
The clamour for having a Nigerian Local Board in the forum is justifiable now that the CBN had placed an outright ban on cryptocurrency exchanges that singular act had consequently gave rise to a lot of fradulent and scam P2P, I was a victim of such a P2P scam yesterday however the approval of our local board will enable the Nigerian community to establish and create our own P2P transactions services using some trusted members like CryptopreneurBrainboss,  Mpamaegbu, Charles-Tim and other trusted members as escrew thus transact without any fear and possibly encourage other Nigerin members to use our community P2P service just like other escrewed services.
3705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long can this BULL run last?? on: February 12, 2021, 03:19:17 PM

Yes, the current increase in bitcoin price has affected the price increases of other top altcoins. You can also make the most of it to benefit from trading and investing during a bullish market. but it also needs to be remembered as said by the man above, to always be ready if at any time the market experiences a downward correction.
that is the dilemma. sometimes a trader and investor get carried away with the mood when the market is in the pump. when a drop occurs it will assume it is just a small correction signal and will return in the pump. but when the big dump occurs many of them are not ready to sell at a loss on the assets they own.
It's better to take some profits in the bullish season as trader or investors to be on a safer side once the bullish runs end a massive correction will follow suit meanwhile some hodlers or investors who ought to have taken some profits will begin to regret for not taking their profits thus will have to endure another wait for a new bullish season price history always repeat itself we should take profits at the appropriate season and buy dip.
3706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 12, 2021, 02:39:15 AM
Liverpool won’t win the title now. They are 10 points behind City & City have one game less. There is no shame for them, they have so many injuries, City are just better this season. Liverpool need to worry more about guaranteeing a top 4 finish. They can not lose to Leicester.
It's early to count and write out Liverpool from becoming the 2020/2021 English premier champion,  in 2018/2019 season when Manchester city became champions, Liverpool had a good lead at the top, but let it close up, I think Liverpool would put this shadow matches behind them, and go for wins, and the important games are the ones they play.
You make a good point cause the game can be full of surprises sometimes but the outcome of the Liverpool match against Leicester will give us an idea if Liverpool does put the shadow matches behind them because they usually defeated Leicester in the Premier League. However, I expect Man City to lost to Hotspur.
Man City losing to spur? with the present form of Pep Guordiola side I doubt it, Liverpool just switched off lately and it will be extremely difficult to catch up with Man City who had been gradually increasing their gaps with more points on EPL table now 5 points difference above  Man Utd with an outstanding match, Liverpool vs Leciester wouldn't be an easy match I will settle for a draw.
3707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does knowing your sport and teams really make you better at betting on them? on: February 11, 2021, 05:54:03 PM
A bettor deep knowledge in a particular or choice of sport is the key towards winning bets consistently, personally my preference is soccer betting and I followed English Premier League with passion thus allowing me to place my bets on stronger teams against the weaker ones and knows the teams with ability of scoring goals in every match, statistically I would be to analyze past records before placing a bet all these are based on knowledge in that particular league.
3708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [CHALLENGE] Can I go from $100 to $80000 in 2021? +63% WEEK on: February 11, 2021, 06:04:01 AM
Part 3 is now live on YouTube: https://youtu.be/pqNXLgaZmQs

I'm up +63% this week with a 75% win rate.

I hope I can keep this up!
I watched part 3 video now kudos for making a tremendous progress this week I hope to see consistent wins in your in subsequent trades which will motivate newbies or new traders, I like your higher timeframe TA analysis however I discovered that most of your trades are counter trend and most of the articles or videos I read and watched always emphasized on trade the with trend I will like you to shed more light on this, I knew that your trading decisions is based on many traders taking profits at the peak of a trend of course at the peak the price might experience just a minor pullback before continuation of the trend shorting at those peaks isn't that counter trading?
3709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 11, 2021, 04:34:43 AM
Manchester city now is out to compit, they are now bring their premier league ginger into the FA Cup. Who knows, they can claim both trophies this season.
Not happening there are still some big guys in the Fa cup who's there only chance now is to fight for the cup, the second decorated trophy in England because realistically the Epl trophy is already at City's advantage, whoever thought City would be fighting for the league let alone winning it after some doggy start to the season due to some challenges they faced. Well let's see how it goes with them in the Fa cup and champions league.
Pep Guordiola had really improved the team after their sloppy start of the season gradually the team is firing and winning matches courtesy of their manager rotating and resting some players in matches to give them some freshness, despite the injured duo of Aguero and Bruyne their team is still strong and playing with high level and in-form  hopefully they might win two trophies this season especially EPL title.
3710  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much would you say one could realistically make a month trading? on: February 10, 2021, 04:28:15 PM
Using 2% on a trade and compounding your daily profits is the best bet towards a reasonable amount of profits monthly provided that you have a good trading strategy and sound money management however if you decided to buy a coin at low and waiting for it to pump requires DYOR which is also risky if a wrong choice was bought, Making a profits of $2K from an investment of $10K is reasonable coupled with compounding will bring you massive profits in along run however some losses will definitely be incurred.
3711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria government did not ban bitcoin on: February 10, 2021, 01:20:06 PM
And that means, no local crypto-exchange can exist in their country as it will not be approved by their Central Bank.
That's too bad for their crypto users as they will rely on p2p platforms, which hopefully will not be a breeding ground for scammers.
Now, that Tesla is out with their billion investment in bitcoin, hopefully, their government will re-consider about their approach in crypto.
I believe, that there will still be changes on their perspectives towards crypto.

you're right at the moment there's no local exchange working in Nigeria, they had a few local exchange like luno and roqqu and immediately the federal government announced that banks should no longer be involved in any crypto transactions, the local exchange  were all shut down, it's really bad for Nigerians cause now they won't be able to change their crypto to naira smoothly unlike before, I just hope their government will revise this decision soon.
CBN ban on crypto exchanges will give rise to many P2P transactions however p2p are prone to scamming.getting a trusted and legitimate ones will be difficult because some individuals will use this avenue to defraud unsuspecting traders meanwhile banks must not be aware of such genuine p2p traders if they are caught in the act of transacting cryptos such an account will be outrightly frozen and banned thus many risk involved now for cryptos users in Nigeria.
3712  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I have been scammed 0.20 btc, what can I do? on: February 10, 2021, 06:30:49 AM
Well that, yesterday they scammed me 0.20 btc in binance

A guy by telegram gave me proof hours before the coin that was going to be pumped, which was VIB, which was the admin of BIG PUMP SIGNAL, and I paid him 0.20 btc for the information, and today he has blocked me.

I only have his Btc wallet number and his telegram nothing else.

can I do something reporting it to the police?

Will binance help me identify that person after I have sent the money?

thanks
Its a pity that you fell into trap set by the scammer, It could have been safe if you had an account with binance exchange and trade VIB directly rather than relying on a faceless scammer, we are in bullish season now a lot of scammers will be on the prowl looking for who to scam, I doubt if you will able to retrieve your BTC with those information at your disposal however you can contact binance for help provided that they can be of help or try and check the phone number of the scammer on telegram probably you can track it, if its not fake.
3713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Toronto women win jackpot lottery on: February 10, 2021, 12:16:40 AM
Yes, that is a big amount of money that she got.
However. how often she had been playing and how many times she won?
This may be very big and also very promising, but we don't know how much she had spent to join that gambling. That is why it seems so natural to know the amount. However, this is a really legit play game with very intermediate difficulty.
It doesn't really matter because it is obvious that it is going to be an amount that is way lower than the huge prize money that she won, the real issue is that it took her 20 years and very few people are going to have the patience to keep getting the same numbers over and over again over that time span, and what it is even worse very few people will actually win by doing that, because as we know the chances that you are going to win the lottery are very low.
I salute the courageous woman for her doddegness for staying in the game for 20 year this is a great feat, many people would have been discouraged and quit but this woman stood her ground and continued playing with the same number luckily she hits the jackpot, she truly deserves the winning because of her patience and perseverance , we hardly see this type of people.
3714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 09, 2021, 04:29:20 PM
I think Manchester United vs West Ham is a really good game to watch and to bet on.Both teams come from bad results in their last game in the Premier League so both I think are looking to get a good result in this game.To me both teams to score seems like a wise idea to bet on.
To be on safer side  betting both team to score BTTS is quite reasonable and fair considering how woeful both teams are in EPL this season, it quite unfortunate that placing a win for Man Utd is no longer a guarantee of win, gone are days when a bet on Man Utd is a sure banker, EPL has now become unpredictable these days with options of both teams scoring or over and under goals scored as alternative means of betting, even small teams are creating upsets e.g Sheffield Utd beating Man Utd.
3715  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit $50k? on: February 08, 2021, 10:27:09 PM

Gradual increase in price is way better than sudden rise. From yesterday started to see some buying happening in bitcoin and now price is almost at 40k. So if it can continue to stay above 40k for a while then we might even see in coming time near 50k unless there is no negative news around the market for bitcoin. For now, good to see bitcoin back again near 40k.

I also prefer a gradual increase in price, a sudden increase can be considered as a price manipulation which is not good and will cause new players in the market to lose their investment, just like what happened in 2017, if the price is gradually increasing, we can figure out what causes the price increase and make the right decision to invest.

Gradual increase is more solid and stable.
$50k this year seems very plausible to happen, with how things are moving in the market.
We are only in the second month of this year, and we achieved again the 40k level.
Bitcoin is indeed doing great this year. So no doubt, $50k is not far from the horizon.
The price had reached  $44K already thus $50K is the next destination which the price will be reached soon, Tesla acquiring huge Bitcoin was likely responsible for the sudden surge in the price which is one of the institutional adoption I am very sure more are coming on board cumulative of all these  investment will surely triggers the price to reach $50K or even more before the end of this year.
3716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central Bank of Nigeria Explains Reasons Behind Crypto Ban on: February 08, 2021, 04:53:31 PM
CBN (Central Bank Of Nigeria) explains the reason behind the recent ban of cryptocurrency in the country.
You're wrong

As regards our recent policy pronouncement, it is important to clarify that the CBN circular
of February 5, 2021 did not place any new restrictions on cryptocurrencies, given that all
banks in the country had earlier been forbidden, through CBN’s circular dated January 12,
2017, not to use, hold, trade and/or transact in cryptocurrencies . Indeed, this position was
reiterated in another CBN Press Release dated February 27, 2018.

Nigeria doesn't ban Bitcoin on their country, but the only ban Bitcoin on their "banks" only. So, Nigerian Banks are prohibited to hold, trade or transaction using cryptocurrencies.

People on Nigeria still allowed to hold and doing transaction with cryptocurrency, they only warn if cryptocurrencies is very high risk and volatility.
The ban wouldn't have any impact on P2P I don't see any reason for panicking, since individuals has access to their coins and having the ability to transact anonymously without any interference, I think the organization hit by this ban are Nigerian crypto exchanges who uses banks for their transactions any violator of this order will have their account frozen and closed down outrightly however in P2P transactions the banks might not the know the reasons or purpose of transactions between two the seller and the buyer of the crypto.

someone call the ambulance, i think Allison had a concusion...must've been Sergio Ramos, where's the VAR when you need it? 🤔
Allison fumbled today no thanks to the silly mistakes he committed however he just had a bad day,  the match was quite entertaining with Sterling tormenting Liverpool defence with his mesmerizing dribblings skills which has caused a lot of troubles for defenders, later in the game Foden took over the right side of attack by opening spaces to link up nicely with Gundugon to score two goals after wasting a penalty kick in the first half of the match.
3719  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quick Trading Pattern Guide for Newbie traders on: February 07, 2021, 03:54:36 PM
Double Top and Head and Shoulders are very common price pattern that often occur in most time with reference to yesterday 15 minute BTCUSD chart a Head and shoulder pattern was the indicator to the present bearish sentiment of the market, a newbie that sell immediately after the completion of the pattern will be profits now, this really shows the important and how powerful are price patterns towards becoming a successful trader, its up to newbies to search these patterns on a chart and master them appropriately possibly practice tradings with those pattern via stimulation or demoing until profit making is consistent before investment.
3720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India makes ownership of Bitcoin criminal offense - How to respond? on: February 07, 2021, 08:34:01 AM
In my opinioin, soon we will see the same laws in other countries. Govs dont like money that they cant control
Nigeria too had placed a ban on crypto link: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-02-05/nigerian-central-bank-orders-closure-of-cryptocurrency-accounts I agreed with you that other countries will follow-suit, this is quite disappointing the government should have look inward and tap in some benefits of cryptos in term of taxes of course cryptos serves a foreign exchange for their country , there are lots of developers, traders etc who earned cryptos as income invariably exchanging it to rupees thus boosting their economic activities this an eye-opener to the electorates to vote against leaders who wants to intrudes into their private lives.
