3721  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: March 23, 2020, 06:25:22 PM
I feel like maybe we might be underestimating the economic infrastructure of the world. I understand that bitcoin is not affected and all that because we can't share a virus via online payments and bitcoin is great however we are in bigger trouble than just that. All of the world is scared right now and staying at home, that means lost profits for many places, how could we really expect bitcoin to not get affected right now.

There is no way we are unaffected by this, of course we would be, I understand we all love bitcoin and we all want to see the good parts of bitcoin however lets not think that this has anything to do with bitcoin, it is not and we can't really just look at it from out side, we have to look at from the sellers point of view as well to fully understand the situation.
3722  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: March 23, 2020, 05:25:36 PM
How could anyone think that billions of dollars lost all around the world, maybe a combined over a trillion dollars lost will not affect the economy. And more importantly how can governments help the huge companies with troubles so they could literally buyback their own shares with that money?

How is that helping the world, at best case you are buying it for people who had enough money to buy shares from those companies, not horrible, that is cool, however it is not enough AT ALL. We are in a situation where even republican Americans are saying there should be one time payment to all citizens so the world can continue to turn.

Giving 1000 dollars to every single american would cost less than 400 billion dollars, every single country could do that with their own national currency and whatever would help, governments are getting our taxes so they could do something with it, right now it is time they pay us back because we can't anymore.
3723  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin was never meant to be a hedge against a Global Pandemic on: March 23, 2020, 03:41:00 PM
I really hope that its not true but I heard that all these stocks going down, bitcoin going down, gold going down all of the things going down was because there was a lot of people who wanted to have cash and they went ahead and bought stocks of many things to store at home in order to not get out.

Now, it is not a horrible idea because we have a pandemic in our hands that is growing exponentially and that is horrible, however at the same time being in cash will not help you neither, whatever you need to spend that is understandable and spend but we have dropped billions of dollars, hundreds of billions of dollars as a whole economy, we can't just say we had all of that spent on some grocery stores, I won't believe that, some people must be staying in cash, waiting probably.
3724  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 3884 again? on: March 23, 2020, 03:05:27 PM
It looks like 3884 may not happen again. Corona has already happened, we are already there, the financial world already responded to it, bitcoin already fell down because of it. There is no way we will have another response to it because we already gave our answer already. I assume price is at the bottom already, we will go forward from this and go back up.

I see 10k in 2020 and I am not even joking, I do see an insane increase in stock markets as well. Many companies were affected because of this but a lot of them were basically still the same. Just to give an example the stock prices for google is down right now it was around 1247 and now it is around 1119, that is significantly lower, how could a virus that makes you stay at home could affect google? Same happened to amazon. Those will eventually go back up, I am 100% sure.
3725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: March 23, 2020, 08:35:23 AM
You should not even be confused in between trading, gambling and binary options if you really are good at trading. You should only concentrate on trading and try to enrich your skills by practically experiencing many more things. Checking out your list gives me a rough estimate that you do posses some great skills which would be most useful for you in the coming future.

Trading can serve us with great profits if you have the knowledge and ability to make great research. Never follow anyone else's TA but instead try to make your own technical analysis and you would surely make great profits. I am not sure about binary option and gambling but I could confidently suggest you to go for trading only.
3726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: we are so close to HALVING !!!are these dumps CONNECT to halving time??? on: March 22, 2020, 04:16:39 PM
Maybe there could be some whales who are buying up right now that is the cause of the increase. Look at all of crypto right now. Maybe it is because bitcoin went up so much in the last day maybe it is the whole market but they are all going up, all coins are going up right now, ethereum was discussed about if it would be under 80 dollars, 80! and right now it is 150 dollars almost twice as much. That is the affect bulls and whales have on the market.

People know that halving is coming, they see corona virus and they see halving and they made their decision already, they think that by May comes corona will not be as dangerous as it is today and after the halving price will go up, so they are buying as many as possible. There is no returning back this time around.
3727  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: March 22, 2020, 03:33:29 PM
These days it is really not all that interesting to do both of them, they are both hurting as it is unless you are a shorts futures type of guy.

Right now, we are talking about a situation where traders who buy daily are hurting because it is dropping daily, so the day traders or short term traders are hurting right now and not making any profits. The long term ones that are investors are hurting as well, if they needed the money now due to all the crisis going on, they would have to sell on a hurting price as well, if they didn't need it at all they would still keep it but their portfolio is down nevertheless. So basically everyone is losing today, not a great time for bitcoin or any other coin and not a good time for any type of bitcoin related profiting since there is none.
3728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BLAME THE INVESTOR FOR LOOSING NOT THE CRYPTO ECOSYSTEM on: March 22, 2020, 12:40:58 PM
I understand the fury for the investors but right now we are living in a time that is unprecented before. Normally when there is an economical problem there are solutions or at least safe harbors from it but this time around there is none. If you hold cash that is eroding in value, if you have stocks its going down, if you have crypto its going down, if you have gold its going down, if you have oil its going down, if you were in forex its volatile, if you are in anything it is going down.

When all of this is happening we are literally going down like crazy so there is literally nothing you can put your money into, there is nothing that can help you not lose your worth. So, you can't blame the crypto ecosystem I agree with that but you can't really blame the investors neither.
3729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin for coronavirus on: March 22, 2020, 09:35:31 AM
Recently, I found an interesting article about coronovirus coin, https://cryptogeek.info/en/blog/coronacoin-price-is-human-lives, what do you think? Is it a joke or a really hype thing?
People are always looking for an opportunity to profit from everything. Just like a lot of people are now interested in soap production and hand sanitizers, everyone is just looking for their own way to profit from the current situation.

I am not really going to blame such people, anyone that sees an opportunity to make money and get rich will always grab the opportunity and do what it takes to get that money. What I don’t like about some people is that they don’t care whether it’s good or bad, they are just interested in money and nothing else.
3730  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you ready for the Halving ??? Not that Halving, the PRICE Halving of Bitcoin on: March 22, 2020, 07:37:28 AM
Mate, the only true safe haven has been gold and it’s always remained that. And gold has been able to maintain its price at this time more than most of the other stocks and assets. Bitcoin is good, but I don’t know where the idea that Bitcoin is a safe haven came from, I don’t know who started such thing and made people to believe that.

How can you be expecting a market that is highly volatile to remain stable at this time or maybe you thought that the price of Bitcoin will keep going up at this point of time? This is a kind of situation is the type that creates panic, and there are lots of things that have been happening around Bitcoin , someone claimed that it might be as a result of the quantum computing announcement, though I don’t really believe that.
3731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Central Bank Admits It Can’t Ban Bitcoin on: March 22, 2020, 06:47:03 AM
What did you think before, that Bitcoin can be banned? Bitcoin cannot be banned by any country , but they can stop people from trading it. I have seen a news that says Russia already banned Bitcoin trading in their country.

One thing you need to know is that the kind of exchanges that can be banned are the ones that are Centralized, the government can order banks to stop offering services to exchanges and that way the exchange will be unable to function. But decentralized exchanges will still be working and people will be able to buy and sell using DEX.
3732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin has an identity crisis now? on: March 22, 2020, 06:02:10 AM
Have you ever read the story of those that started making use of bitcoin at first and became millionaires? If you check the reason why they started making use of Bitcoin, they always say that it’s because they saw it as a good asset that will likely yield profit in the future.

And they were right , it’s an investment and I don’t think there is a single person here that just put their money in Bitcoin and then decided to leave it there and hope that it will be adopted one day in the world lol, everyone here is always worried when they are losing their money in Bitcoin and they are happy when they are making profit, that’s the truth, anyone that denies it a big liar. But, that doesn’t stop BTC from being adopted anyway, though not as to replace fiat.
3733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fraud crypto analysts! on: March 21, 2020, 02:55:49 PM
There are bunch of funny people these days and Photoshop is helping them do the work they are doing, which is deceiving people lol. Everyone these days has to be very careful, cause most of the so called influencers are so fake and not worth following.

I have even unfollowed all of them on Twitter when I got to discover this, all they mainly do is just lie and create wild speculations and deceive their followers. I am just tired of it and this time around I just do my research by myself and when I can’t do it I just relax and take whatever I see. No time meehn Shocked.
3734  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin ready for world wide 1 currency? on: March 21, 2020, 12:44:45 PM
I ask this because of the corona virus where people are too scared to hold money.

The issue is that we value btc against the usd and other fiat currencies. If fiat currencies were no longer how would bitcoin be valued...inflation etc? Can't get my head around how it would work.
The way I see Bitcoin is quite different from the way most people see it. I don’t see Bitcoin as a replacement for fiat, I just see it in a way that fiat is here to say – like the US is not going to leave their US Dollar to start making use of Bitcoin as their main currency.

Bitcoin is going to be another means for people to access a cheaper and fast transaction, a currency that would be used to send money around the world which would be unlike the means we currently have. Countries might even have their cryptocurrency, a digital form of their main currency and as time goes on the Blockchain will become more advanced.
3735  Economy / Economics / Re: I think I Found The Reason For Bitcoin's Latest Crash on: March 21, 2020, 10:15:08 AM
I don’t know for sure, and I don’t really think you’re right. If you check your first picture the price of Bitcoin was already going down before the date you marked; it reached the peak around July and then started to fluctuate downwards before reaching the date you marked.

So the way I see it, maybe that was just a coincidence that took place and not really the reason that the price of Bitcoin dropped. Even if that time comes I believe there will always be a way that one can protect his or her self from whatever challenge the quantum computing poses to the crypto community. For now, I’d say that there are more to this fall than what you have here.
3736  Economy / Economics / Re: Italian Bank offers Bitcoin Wallet Integration in their Online Platform. on: March 21, 2020, 08:34:56 AM
I just like how the bank looks like, it’s just very simple and the design isn’t clustered like most bank apps you will see, just a minimum design and cool at the same time. 1.2 millions clients is not a small number, at least half of those that are using that app that are not into cryptocurrency would develop interest as time goes on and they will try to purchase and see how it works.

Also, maybe when they try it out for the first time they will start gaining interest in it. This is still new, if the government should approve the bigger banks, they might start integrating Bitcoin wallets and offering the services as well. New German law that was passed around February was said to allow such.
3737  Other / Politics & Society / Re: COVID-19 teaches all of us. on: March 21, 2020, 07:53:30 AM
Sure, like how you mentioned that this increased our faith in God. A lot of people now remembers to pray to God and beg him to stop this outbreak, because there is no way we can run to if not to God, he’s the only one that can do this and of course faith without faith never works, so we in person have got to do what we are meant to do and avoid some places for now and try to stay indoors.

Another point you made I like is about family – there are lots of people who work to the extent that they never get to spend time with their family and love ones, but with what happened now they will be able to spend time with their family and value this moment. And as time goes on let’s keep praying to God and this situation will come to an end soon.
3738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mouth work wonders in crypto on: March 19, 2020, 05:51:16 PM
When i mean mouth work wonders in the crypto space, i mean we have selected few crypto leaders, or ceos whose word are held in high regard and can definitely push up the price of certain altcoins if mentioned.

It also applies to project that can be bullish with their words and products, it generates a natural hype that can push up prices of any altcoins in the crypto sphere.

Do you think the same ? or have examples of such ceos or influencers whose words hodl great volume ?
Lol you’re funny, I’m surprised that someone still think this happens this time around. If that was possible and still happening, I guess one influencer will just invest in an altcoin and come out any day to say something about the altcoin and cause the price to pump. Sorry that doesn’t happen again, I don’t even know if that ever happened, I don’t believe that.

Since 2018 after the last bull run, I have seen a lot of influencers that kept making speculations about coins like Ethereum and Bitcoin, I was expecting the price to go up since they have said something about it, instead the price kept falling and even crashed hands down.
3739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do when price is dump?? on: March 19, 2020, 02:49:11 PM
The basic solution in times as this for traders is to Hold their/your capital in fiat or stable coin then wait patiently, then you get into the trade after there has been few more rekts or tokens has reached the bottom.

What do you think? Is it a smart move at this time?
It all depends on situation as of then. There are times I would sell my coins immediately I suspect that the price is going down, and after I sell I wait for when the price has reached what seems to be the bottom and I would buy back and hold till the price goes up to another high rate when I will be able to recover everything I have lost.

Moreover, there are also times that I will leave the money in my wallet when the price is crashing heavily like this, I just leave and wait till the price has dropped to the bottom, then I buy more coins and add to what I have before. As time goes on the price climbs back, which I know is going to happen for sure, and I will be able to recover the losses.
3740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen tomorrow when the stock markets worldwide crash again? on: March 17, 2020, 04:34:43 PM
What do you think will happen tomorrow with the BTC (up or down?) if the stock markets worldwide crash again?

I am afraid that the BTC will then go towards 3k or even less. The altcoins will hit it even harder.

I dont know what i should do today, sell all my altcoins?
I can suggest you to be in USDT and wait for a specific time to buy as much coins as possible. We might experience a major dump soon which would then be followed by a pump and prices would start getting back on routine. There has been high volatility in the price for bitcoins which has even made a lot of positions getting liquidated on bitmex as well as binance and bybit which is continuously driving the price on the dip.

A lot of big traders have already lost funds in trading which has demotivated others and they have maintained a distance from bitcoins in this time and hence the price is getting dumped. We would soon see each of the markets getting back to routine.
