Who can confirm that 12 Tunisian players tested positive for Covid19 before the game against Nigeria? I took Nigeria @1.70, and the odds are rapidly decreasing.
i checked twitter real quick and didn't find anything Tunisia will indeed be missing a couple of players due Covid-19 but I'm not sure about the specific number of players expected to be missing, Wahbi Khazri their captain is amongst the players expected to miss the game.. hmm, Nigeria @1.82 at the time of writing... it seems like people are not too concerned about this covid outbreak in the team but i'm not touching it, anything can happen... i dodged a bullet earlier in Burkina faso v Gabon,, the latter with the late goal while being one man down for the last 20 min of regular time... just AFCON things  i keep drifting away from the top spots of the leaderboard 😧 It's halftime and it's still goalless between Nigeria and Tunisia, nothing spectacular about the game yet, but Nigeria are clearly the better side so far with several attempts on goal being made, Tunisia have been well organized defensively as well. Still anyone's game to be honest, I'm taking Nigeria to win @2.28 odds rn. I also missed getting any point from Burkina Faso vs Gabon, it's hard to go with a draw especially with those additional 30 minutes been counted on SuperBRU. |

~snip That is cheating, provoking the lady luck with not caring maybe, but still, after two matches we are splitting the top for this round with 4,5 points if I have thought a bit more about matches, would probably miss both, so will stick to this provocation to lady luck strategy I think I've said a few times too, when I put in score randomly without even checking out recent forms or position on the table it tends to work, but when you get really close in the ranking and you don't want to mess shit then it all starts to go sideways again. Lazio and Atalanta playing out a goalless draw is something I really just still can't understand, I've got BTTS on at least to parlays and Over 2.5 on another, meeeeh! Wolves have been brilliant in recent week, and I back them in all my bets and in the pool, that seemed like a bet not to be missed for me. I think this season is shaping up to be the closest title race in a long time.

You sure went back some pages to retrieve this haha. But you know, I'm a stubborn little gambler and still asking and prodding around for a treble offer for me on Liverpool. We're the only team to ever sit atop the league on Christmas and not go on to win. I would love City to join us in creating such hallowed, such exclusive company. Pity we only meet them in April, but well, maybe it's best. Haha, the post is almost 4 months old and no one would have expected City to be in the clear by this margin at this point back then, given how both Liverpool and Chelsea were in good shape.

The Warriors on the other hand, suffered and lost unexpectedly against the Pacers with a 4 points score difference. Seems the Warriors recently are out of bounce and their chemistry isn't that well enough anymore since they can be defeated by a weaker team like the Pacers now.
They'll have a chance to bounce back from that very disappointing loss. Today, they'll play a back to back game and will be up against the Rockets, I think a weaker team like the Rockets will be easy for them to beat, and knowing that the Warriors always come back from a loss, it's so enticing to take the spread although it's as high as -11. I think I like the Warriors here, even though I'm not the biggest fan of wide spreads I think the Warriors got this. I'll be taking the Lakers -5.5 against Orlando Magic, I know Lakers are pretty awful right now, but it's going to be a real low if they're unable to get a win against a team like Magic. I also like the Nuggets vs Memphis as well. Lakers need to win and covering that handicap should not be a problem. Though we keep seeing disappointing outcome from their previous performances, but still they need to come up and make some win. Magic is not that much if they will perform well. I'll be checking this one as I'm looking for the Nets and Boston, lots of games to choose, better to carefully analyzed and fid the value bet that can bring a better outcome.. I'm glad Lakers eventually did cover the spread and I won my bet, despite being behind at halftime the rally in the 3rd Quarter was determining factor. Warriors were terrible last night again, they were barely able to win with Curry's buzzer-beating shot, after some good run in the final minutes of the game, a game where they double digits favorite. Warriors next game is against the Utah Jazz, I'm curious to see what the line/odds would open at. |

I had Watford to win 2-1, and they went from being the better side in the first half to a complete shitty team in second half. I was pretty much optimistic with the way the first half played out.
Not the greatest way to kickstart the week, but it's much comforting to know that only a few people from the pool actually had Norwich to win.

Nothing much to say about Watford vs Norwich so far, It's goalless at halftime, with Watford better a bit with the ball and attempts but either goalkeepers have barely had to do anything spectacular. Sissoko probably had the best chance of the half after being squared by Joshua King, but couldn't finish.

What a shameful outing for Algeria. Should I call over confidence or what. Afcon Champion could not register a single win in their group stage including those they tagged as minors. Algeria and Zambia have experienced the same fate. When Zambia won the Africa cup for the first time in 2012 they were knocked out in the group stages during the 2013 edition just like what has happened to Algeria. The whole thing is getting interesting and I hope the super eagles will not underrate any of these teams including the so called minor, because they are the real problems in this tournament. This afcon is full of surprises. I love this tournament the giant teams are being sink down to the earth and the minor team are being resurrated to the highest level.
I really thought the first two games could be a wake-up call for Algeria, but it wasn't and now they are out and it's deserved. It was the only big surprise (well, maybe also Ghana's elimination to some extend) in the first round imho. For the final round the role distribution seems clear. In 3 of the 4 brackets towards the semi-final we have clear favorites: Nigeria, Senegal and Cameroon. If any of those doesn't make it it would be a huge surprise. The last bracket is a bit more open with Ivory Coast vs Egypt and the winner facing (probably) Morocco in the quarter finals. Algeria and Ghana would have gone head to head if there was a trophy for flops of the tournament. I really won't consider Senegal as clear favorite against Cape Verde, given what they played in the first round, Senegal scored just one in a group where you have expected them to do away a possible 9 points, while Cape Verde emerged from a tough group. |

Cape Verde and Malawi qualified to the knockout stage, meanwhile, the defending champions are eliminated...the magic of AFCON, i guess... my condolences to those who had Algeria as Outright Winner in the sportsbet promo, not a single chip from them  Damn man, not a even best third placed team fight. This is the craziest AFCON I've ever witnessed, Tunisia by the way as well had to settle for a best third placed qualification and will now face Nigeria, regardless of Tunisia mode of qualification, I think it still going to be a tough one for the Super Eagles. Quite a number of fascinating matches to look for in the knock stages though, Egypt vs Ivory Coast sure is one, I'd say Cameroon probably got the easiest matchup, but we've seen stranger things happen right ? |

You mean "Cleveland vs the Bulls" at home correct? I have +2.5 myself. I would not take the Bulls. I actually made this bet a few weeks ago when they played short of a few guys and lost. It's going to be a similar situation tonight. I'm a big bulls fan and watch them closely so of course I want them to win but I'm unfortunately just not seeing it. They still have their best player (Lavine) out and other highly important players like Alex Caruso. I think Ball might still be out too. Missing these players and not having played well of late is not a good recipe for success. Cavaliers and Bulls have been my favorite teams so far this season and despite the Bulls been short a couple of players, I'm sure they still stand a chance would put up some good performance, however I would not be placing any bet on this game, the line is short and it could swing either way. Celtics -3.5 vs Hornets is my bet for tonight, Jaylen Brown and Schroder have been terrific lately and it doesn't have to be Tatum to the rescue anymore for the Celtics. |

I couldn't agree any less, now I felt I should have put in a bit more into the outright bet, coming into the tournament I wasn't sure of how the team would fare, but I couldn't have placed the bet on any other team.
Moses Simon is surely a stronger contender for player of the tournament, and the claim will further strengthen as much as the team progresses in the tournament.

who would see Ghana out in group stage, within group that comprise Comoros, indeed and we have Algeria, that is also close to elimination nevertheless, I think that Nigeria and Egypt will take their toll today, and leave Sudan and Guinea Bissau without a win on AFCON, will be too much for them to surprise today, although Nigeria does not need a win for nothing halftime: It has started fairly as expected today, although it's just Egypt leading by a goal, while the score between Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau is still a barren one, but the match has not been any form short of being lively, Nigeria have been ahead to be honest, but Guinea Bissau are also keen not to go down without a fight. |

Not so many games to pick from today, I would have love to go with Warriors but -15.5 seem rather to high for me to back, I'm sure they should be win against Pistons by double digits with Curry back in the line up, but then 16 points deficit bet doesn't make much sense to me in this situation.
We only have 2 games later and I will pick the game between New York Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves.
Still thinking about what should I choose here:
Over 214.5 @ 2.00 - If we look at both teams' total points average, Twoves has 110 PPG while NYK has 104 PGG. Seems they can cover the total. Not just that, if we look also at Timberwolves' last 5 winning games, their total score alone is one of the highest in the league.
Timberwolves -4.5 @ 2.10 - As a reference to what I just mentioned, the last 5 winnings games of Timberwolves are averaging with a 20 points lead. New York Knicks is also inconsistent and if their momentum got wrecked early at the game, no way they can make a rally. I'm sure this can be covered by the Wolves.
I like the over bet more, both teams can really score points when they play teams with matching energy and approach, but when playing against with slow pace and emphasis on defense, getting over 200 might be a huge stretch. I'll be sitting the night out, except I find some player props' to be on. GL! |
