http://www.frbservices.org/operations/fedwire/fedwire_funds_services_statistics.html

There you go - 11 million transactions a month, or about 5 per second, where the average transaction amount is almost exactly BTC 10,000 at current exchange rates.

Note that Fedwire is only one of several payment services used by large banks, there are also Target2 and CHIPS for example.

Still they are transferring illusions not theirs own money they don't have that money its all fake.
In bitcoin that is different . And transactions will get bigger overtime. Bitcoin is only 5 years old how old are banks ? We are getting there ...

To si u pravi svakako.

Ja jos nisam usao u tu pricu oko trgovanja i kopanja alt coina.

3725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 304517 -- A BIG Block! on: June 10, 2014, 10:53:03 AM
If you have any experience of looking at the blockchain, you will see that this is almost certainly a single payment of BTC 10,000, with the balance in the sender's wallet being transferred to a new key (done for security reasons).

So a single payment of less than USD 10,000,000, of the sort that large banks do many times a second all day long, for free or so close to free that the cost can't be measured.

Nothing to see here, move along.

Actually there is everything to see here. Where did u saw that bank transactions ? And that bank transactions are fake money transactions, they dont have it. In btc its bit different.

Haha yeah, I'm pretty good at messing things like this up, like I said I have little to zero experience with Excel, especially when it comes to formulas and what not. I'm gonna have to look into how to make graphs and what not and formulas so I can do this tweet thing I've been talking about doing.

Anyways thanks again for the sheet MICRO (spelled your nick wrong last time sorry haha) I really appreciate being able to keep track of what I'm doing!

For tutorials go to youtube , u will find plenty of good tutorials on excel.
Also i suggest office 2010  or 2007 not 2013

IT IS A FACT, that if you are in a building beside train tracks, and you are at the same hight as the powerlines, your network creates a lot of CRC's.

IT IS KNOWN that in the right season for lightning and thunder, a IT technician get's more calls from customers. Some say the damage comes from powerspickes, some believe, it comes from the huge magnetic field around the lightning, which can charge up cables and wires, especially rolled up ones which lie on horizontaly...

SOME BELIEVE, Elvis is still alive... waiting with Jacko on the moon, till DOGE arrives :-)

It is still theory (Beta) what exactly a magnetic field is...

Some say primedice3 beta testing is on the moon , just coz of possibility that rolled cables can destroy its servers. Cheesy .

3733  Economy / Services / Re: Track your SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN EARNINGS with this EXCEL sheet. on: June 09, 2014, 11:02:56 PM
Yeah I'm going to have to start tracking it per week, which will be a pain but I'd imagine that all I'd have to do is put a fresh sheet and what not. At least it's handy to know whether or not I'm just crap posting and what I'm earning. Thank you for this macro I really appreciate it, if I had any BTC to tip you with I'd do it.

Its rly simple to use and hard to mess up when u follow instructions. And will make ur life much easier.

Only thing u need to do is copy ur post count from ur profile and fill it in each day that is all Smiley .

If u guys need some modified versions for weekly payout or need some extra info on that sheet just say so i will try to make it happen Smiley .

Btw tips are not for me, they are for people that lost everything in floods, i already donated almost my whole wallet balance. Its rly terrible what happened and it will take years to recover from it. But we are strong nation we can do it Smiley .
Tnx for support.
3734  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: June 09, 2014, 10:54:46 PM
Thanks for the reply MICRO, but I'm suspicious about your information because it seems vague and lacking in detail.  For example, you say that something is impossible but I think you mean infeasibly improbable.
Yes, that's what they meant.  Note that for all practical purposes, you can consider that to be on the level of 'impossible'.  I.e. say you roll a million dice - is it possible that you'll roll a 4 on all million?  Sure, it's possible.  Now consider that the issue we're discussing here is several magnitudes more difficult still Smiley

I just cant look at it that way . I must say its impossible at that chance Smiley . Maybe wont be in like 100 years with some new super computers. But atm even if u combine all computers on this planet they cant do it.

But ur explanation is rly good. Tnx.
3735  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: June 09, 2014, 10:51:10 PM
Just trust me it is IMPOSSIBLE to get same address as somebody else. Its just impossible even if u have world most powerful computer.

Lol, maybe you're just abusing the phrase but 'just trust me' is exactly the kind of answer I'm repulsed by in this context.  I'm trying to educate myself about some abstruse facts and mere "I'm right" claims aren't convincing at all.

Furthermore, you still seem to be missing the difference between the definition of IMPOSSIBLE and IMPROBABLE.  I've got nothing against you personally but it doesn't seem like you're the best source to go to for the maths on this one.

Cheers.

Ah well i just wanted to make it simple Cheesy LOL. I used word impossible coz it rly is , well ok it maybe isn't in theory.

Here u can get rly good education about it http://en.bitcoinwiki.org/Main_Page . Im just sleepy and baing lazy to make rly good post about that and how big ur chances are Smiley . So i say its impossible coz it rly is and u dont have to worry about how safe it is to make vanity addy coz somebody might make the same. Coz that was ur question.

3736  Economy / Services / Re: Track your SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN EARNINGS with this EXCEL sheet. on: June 09, 2014, 10:42:40 PM
Oh ok, then I probably am doing it wrong. Thanks for the info, I didn't know if I was or not and I manually was putting in all of the posts I'd made in a single day. I had to recount everything a number of times just to see if I was doing it right. Thanks for the info though, I guess I should brush up on my excel. How did you get the graphs to work? That's probably my favorite part, and I was gonna do something similar for another project involving words and twitter, how did you get that equation or macro to work?

Oh crap, I was doing the same thing...

If instructions are not clear enough i will try to explain better.
Sheet is made that way so u do minimal work. U only put ur total post count at the end of each day in that cell and it will do the rest for u.

U dont need to calculate anything just copy post count from ur profile and put it in that day. U can change that cell multiple times per day with ur post count and it will update everything. BUT DONT EDIT ANY OTHER CELL Smiley . Dont edit some cell for next day or day after u will mess up formula.
3737  Economy / Services / Re: Track your SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN EARNINGS with this EXCEL sheet. on: June 09, 2014, 10:39:35 PM

There is no macro. Graphs use data from the sheet its rly simple . Maybe i can explain it to u. U make ur sheet , and i will help u out on making a graphs for it.

I suggest for next month start with downloading a cleen copy of my sheet, and only fill in red boxes . And then only 1 green each day . U just need to go to ur profile read total post count and fill it in green box for that day. And u wont mess up any formulas. If u change content of cell with formula it wont update coz u delete formula that way.
3738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I buy a USB miner? I get free electricity... on: June 09, 2014, 10:34:40 PM
I found 5 usb miners 333mhs each, for 60$ Smiley . Is it worth it ? Even if i have free electricity and diff doesn't incrise next 4 years they will hardly roi Cheesy lol.

Nope, you can get a 32-37GH/s Rockminer R-Box for the same price. Not worth it at all.

But this got a free shipping . Can u get me a link for that rock miner ?
Btw i just got an idea. I can make that usb miners to mine CTM and exchange to btc, that way they will mine about 12$ per month. Could be worth it ?

Go to the group buy section of this forum. There are virtually no CTM exchanges, and I would still ROI quicker by buying a Rockminer.

Found this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/R-BOX-32-37GH-S-4-AM-Gen3-TSMC-40nm-BTC-Miner-includes-USB-Cable-Power-line-/291164065260?pt=US_Virtual_Currency&hash=item43cabb0dec free shipping worldwide, looks like it will ROI in about 4 months witch is not bad at all.

Another ripoff, as I said, they cost $60-$70. All miners on ebay are a ripoff, you're really stupid if you buy miners from ebay.

I found couple of them for 60-70$ but they dont have free shipping so when i account that in im better off buying 100$ one from ebay Smiley .
3739  Economy / Services / Re: Track your SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN EARNINGS with this EXCEL sheet. on: June 09, 2014, 10:32:00 PM
It seems to work alright for me, I changed it up a little bit to account for USD, however I wish the final post count for the day would just automatically update with how many posts I input. Also it's kind of a hassle to manually just inject each post I post. Maybe I'm doing it the wrong way but I have zero knowledge of Excel.

U should only put final post count at each day end. For example its 0:00 am here atm and i put final post count i have for today , its 1446, that is all input u need to give each day and it will do the rest for u.

When u put final post count for that day it will auto update everything. U only should change all red boxes once, and then 1 green box each day. Dont edit any other green box except the one for current day , u can imput post count for that day mulitple times but i usually do it when i am finished that day at 00:00 or earlier if i got to bed earlier.

Here u can take a look http://1drv.ms/1odWlJo . When i put in 1446 it auto changed everything , and put that post count for all days till the end in case i dont make any post on some days. So when i start again i just fill in post count for that day i started again.
3740  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: June 09, 2014, 10:15:30 PM
I want to ask a question which will probably get people calling me stoopid or whatever but here I go:

Is there a danger of another person using vanitygen with the same input you gave it to generate your public/private key?  For example, assume I created a vanitygen address:

1Vanity...

Someone sees my address and correctly assumes I generated it with vanitygen:

./vanitygen 1Vanity

They now just have to run ./vanitygen 1Vanity and wait a while until they get my public/private keys.

Is that right or wrong?

I guess my assumption here is that while the space of possible random btc addresses is so large, the space of vanity addresses for a given prefix is smaller and perhaps dangerously small?  Also, I don't know how vanitygen searches the space but perhaps it's likely to find the addresses for a given prefix in a similar order each time?

Thanks for any insight.  You guys are smarter then me.

Its not dangerous at all. Its impossible to find whole bitcoin address.

In order for somebody to get private key for ur 1Vanity addy he would need to copy ur whole addy like 1Vanity15af4a5df63adf5645adf... Not only 1Vanity coz there are ALOT of addresses that can start with 1Vanity.

Its imposible for somebody to find key for ur 1Vanity addy , he can make alot of addresses that start with 1Vanity but they wont be the same as urs.

Thanks for the reply MICRO, but I'm suspicious about your information because it seems vague and lacking in detail.  For example, you say that something is impossible but I think you mean infeasibly improbable.  Since I'm looking for details and proofs, I guess I find myself still wanting.  Nonetheless, the point of your reply is noted: apparantly reducing the address space by a prefix is insignficant.  Can anyone fill in the numbers to make this clear?

Second point seems implied in your answer but isn't explicit, apparantly vanitygen is going to generate matching addresses in some pseudo random order.

Also, I decided to put this to the empirical test.  Now running vanitygen with 1Micro Smiley

Just trust me it is IMPOSSIBLE to get same address as somebody else. Its just impossible even if u have world most powerful computer.
