For more information about the conditions, courses and terms, please contact the contacts listed on our website.
Regarding your website, how come you claim to be BestChange partner while I can't find your name there on their website? On top of that, they confirmed from their official account that they have nothing to do with you. Due this I believe that everyone dealing with you is in high risk of loosing the money so I tagged & flagged you and opened the thread in scam accusation board with the evidence.

3722  Other / Archival / Re: Request for Ukraine local board on: March 16, 2022, 07:30:27 AM
Why half-dead Hebrew locale is allowed to be a full-fledged?

Why high-potential Ukrainian locale is not allowed to be a full-fledged?
What you obviously don't understand is that things regarding local boards are not working like that. Forum staff is not creating new local boards unless they see that there is enough interest in your own local thread and that it makes sense to create a new one.

So, to have even remotely slight chance of ever getting your own local board you (and other members that are currently active in Russian board) will have to be more active in Ukrainian board as so far that haven't be the case, with approximately 10 posts written in the last month or so. There are local communities with 300 posts per month that are still waiting for their own local board, meaning it won't be easy.

Regarding half-dead Hebrew board (that was created long time ago), that's exactly the reason why theymos&co are reluctant to open new boards easily as there are few more other than Hebrew that went dead (Japanese, Korean, Chinese etc).
3723  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: March 16, 2022, 06:34:50 AM
Regarding your addition, it is great. Of course the next logical step is to provide a ratio of merited users/total users  or merits/total users.
Endless permutations, and graph to be added, are almost infinite!
I will definitely think about your suggestions, but my concern is that if I make too many charts people will get bored to even ( I am sure that some are annoyed with these charts already) check it. Thats one of the reasons why I am trying to keep those texts above each chart short as I don't wanna bore people more than I am already doing. After all, it was intended to be "brief"overview and as we can see it grow bigger compared to the first few.

Compared to January, the number of merit distributed in February at the Local Indonesian Board decreased slightly but was still above 500+. That's pretty good and I hope we can keep that number for longer.
Given the fact that huge majority of other threads had noticeable decrease in the amount of merit shared, you did quite good. Keep it up!

Crypto_Snack and Elvenland although ninjastic,space/ mentions them with 10 and 8 posts respectively, it was like that, but the first is Nuke status and the second nick has 26 deleted posts, of which 5 belonged to LE, this  verified via bpip.org.

For current purposes, Elvenland would only have 3 posts. It is something that happens, but at least to make it clear for statistical purposes (LE). Anyway, things that one can discover thanks to its update.
Thanks for the heads up, and unfortunately these things will happen. Problem is that ninjastic.space counts all posts written in certain period, even deleted ones and that's the main reason I was reluctant to use that tool for making post charts and was preferring to use Merit Dashboard as I knew it will give somewhat inflated numbers.

They only way to alleviate this issue is if I checked each and every user on every board and then do the calculation manually, but of course I am not that crazy. So yeah, we will have to live with it, as no tools that I have at my disposal for counting posts is 100% correct.

We don't have this exchanger in our listing. We cannot give any information about it.
Thanks for confirming my suspicion that Lucpey doesn't have to do anything for you and that they are just using your good reputation to appear more legit and wouldn't be the first one doing that.  Anyway, I tagged and flagged them so others know who they are dealing with.
3725  Economy / Scam Accusations / [Warning] Lucpey exchanger pretending to be BestChange partner on: March 16, 2022, 06:07:29 AM
What happened: As the title says, Lucpey (unknown dodgy exchanger) is using BestChange name on their website to appear more legit while Lucpey can't be find anywhere on BestChange website. As a matter of fact, this is not the first time something like this happened here and it's probably happening way more often.

Proof: As you can see on the screenshot below taken from their website, they are mentioning BestChange as one of their partners.

Problem here is that  they just confirmed from their official account that they have nothing to do with Lucpey, meaning their are using their name to appear more legit. Given this evidence, I am raising Flag Type 1 against them.

3726  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exposing the Investment Scam - opictrader.com - Opic Trader Scam on: March 15, 2022, 09:57:33 PM
I suggest putting more emphasis on why it's a scam. Probably break down the reasons why down to the small details, that way it will become very informative for the average ppl.
It's very simple really: anyone offering you 20% daily ROI like this opictrader is scammer, as simple as that. There are no elaborate scamming techniques or anything of that sort, they just count on ignorance and greed as you have to be combination of both to fall for something like this. I mean, just look at screenshot from their webiste, its a basic scam. On top of that, they claim to be six years in operation while basic whois domain check reveals that website is less than a year old.

3727  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: March 15, 2022, 07:09:38 PM
Nije vrijedno toga.
Hah znam kako to ide. Jedno sest mjeseci sam bio na cca 15 postova tjedno jer sam jednostavno bio bez inspiracije. Ono dodjem na forum, zujim sat vremena, krenem pisati i onda nakraju izbrisem par postova i idem off.

3728  Other / Meta / Re: Lock Russian section. on: March 15, 2022, 06:52:35 PM
I think Meta should be locked for a few weeks until a moderator is found for it. Lately nothing gets deleted or moved... if it's something something forum something something theymos then it must be a meta topic and a bunch of lemmings start "discussing" it Roll Eyes

+1

Poorly constructed nonsense threads such as this should go directly to the trashcan. I just reported it, let's see how it goes.

Edit: it's marked bad. Cheesy
3729  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: March 15, 2022, 10:04:44 AM
This one surprised us a little bit.  Wink
Haha yeah, I knew it will. As a matter of fact, each month I start making the overview around the same time (beginning-middle of the month) but then I get distracted with RL stuff (and add some laziness on top of that) so in the end I publish it much later than I intended to. This timenothing got in my way so I was able to finish it sonner than everyone (including me) expected.

Adding to that, it might also be a good idea to include a Post/User ratio chart as well, similar to how you display the "Merit/Post ratio per local board" chart. It would provide additional insight into local board activities.
Good idea, gonna create that one too then. Might as well add it to this month's overview as I have very light work schedule today.

fillippone is a bad person, it is very evil not to pay attention to him, he is aiming to convert the republic into an empire and calls himself palpatine
ahahaha
You might be surprised, but I am also a fan of the dark side. I guess great minds really do think alike haha.  If you think about it a little bit better, rebels are the bad guys there so I am not surprised that he wants to bring some order into the chaos. Cheesy

BTW, You may want to edit this one:
Thanks buddy, it has been sorted!

Thank you so much Rikafip for your amazing efforts. Using your graphs and statistics I was able to compile a Yearly Summary for our Pakistan Board Thread  for the year 2021 and we were also able to distribute some prize money for our quality posters to top 3 members of our thread. That was a small efforts for our local community to encourage quality posters and we (me and irfan_pak10) collectively distributed to each member $30 (20 BNB + 10 USDT). This was all possible using your monthly statistic. One again thank you for sharing these statistics.
That's actually a great idea, that you and @irfan_pak10 organized and provided an incentive for your members ro keep wiritng quality and helpful posts. Keep up the good work so hopefully you end up getting your own local board which you and few others IMHO deserve, based on the amount of posts and active members.

3730  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: March 15, 2022, 08:37:34 AM
Contrary to popular belief (*looking at fillippone*  Grin), I am capable of releasing the local board overview in a reasonable time frame, so here it is! As always, all charts are made with the help of @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and @TryNinja Ninjastic.space which I suggest to check if you want more in-depth overview for each local board.

Communities marked with * (Pakistan, Nigerian, Bangladesh) don't have their own local boards as of yet but are included anyway as way to support their effort in getting their own local board.

Post activity per local board during February 2022

During last month 17777 posts were written, which is ~9% decrease compared to January number (19538 posts), making February 2022 having one of the lowest number since I am am making this overview and is a continuation of the ongoing trend that doesn't seem to stop anytime soon.

Once again Russian board is by far the most active one, followed by the usual names: Turkish, German, Indonesian and Portuguese. Majority of these boards experienced the post decrease, including almost every other local board.

Number of posters per local board during February 2022

Even though I 've been doing these local boards overview for two years now, I never really bothered to check how many users each board has and how they compare to each other. Well, at least not until few days ago so I've decided to add another chart that shows exactly that.

Keep in mind that this is a first version and I included all members that wrote at least one post during the before mentioned period. I might in the future adjust it a bit; either set some higher threshold like 5-10 posts or maybe make a little bit different chart with the several brackets for each board (e.g below 10 posts, 11-100, over 100 posts etc) so we get better idea  how many active user each board actually has.

Merit shared per local board during February 2022

Decrease in the posting activity was followed by merit shared decrease as well; during February 2022 only 6033 merits were shared which is ~10% decrease compared to previous month and 7070 merits shared.

When it it comes to leading boards, chart  is pretty much the same as in January; Russian board far ahead, followed by Turkish and German. While majority of boards had decreased amount of merit which is not a surprise given overall 10% decrease, Arabic board managed to increase their merit shared by ~70% so kudos to them!

Unfortunately, Philippines board is still at the bottom, despite the fact that they are far more active than the boards that had similar amount of merits shared like Romanian and Bangladesh.

Merit senders and receivers per local board during February 2022

As always pretty much self-explanatory chart. To avoid any confusion why some boards with fewer merit participants are ahead of the others, I wanna add that boards are sorted by the amount of merit shared, so for example Portuguese board is "behind" Arabic and Spanish boards even though they have fewer people involved in merit sharing.

Merit/Post ratio per local board for February 2022

Since merit decrease was followed by the post decrease, there is no big change compared to January 2022. The important thing is that blue colour still dominates the chart, meaning majority of boards last month's ratio was higher than the last 12 months, with a couple of exceptions (French, Polish, Nigerian, Bangladesh and Pilipinas boards).

The most active members per local board during February 2022

Last but not the least, list of the most active members in 18 local boards (to be more precise 15 local boards + 3 communities that still dont have their own). Once again @joker_josue is the most active member, even though I remember him saying month ago that he doesn't think he will keep his title this month.

It's not that hard if you think about it, just tell them it's for their ''security'' and ''protection''.
Of course, people are willing to exchange freedom for security, as proven many times before. And as that old saying goes, those kind of people deserve neither of those. Or something along those lines.

So yeah, the whole game is fucking rigged.
If the whole game is rigged, then there's no point worrying about it as there is absolutely nothing we can do to change it. Then again, I am more in line of something Alan Moore once said (creator of V for Vendetta and Watchmen). Or it maybe just makes me feel better, that I can do something about it. Cheesy

“The main thing that I learned about conspiracy theory, is that conspiracy theorists believe in a conspiracy because that is more comforting. The truth of the world is that it is actually chaotic. The truth is that it is not The Iluminati, or The Jewish Banking Conspiracy, or the Gray Alien Theory. The truth is far more frightening - Nobody is in control. The world is rudderless”.

Hey @Best_Change!

Cryptocurrency exchange called Lucpey claims to be you partner while I can't find their name anywhere on your website. I just wanna check if what they say its true as they are promoting themselves on bitcointalk and as I recall there were similar cases before, when dodgy exchanges claimed to be your partners while it turned out that they lied and you had nothing to do with them so just wanted to sort it out.

Below is the screenshot from their website

Forgot to mention that Golden Globe awards for 2022 are out, which can somehwat helps to deermine who could win an Oscar. Here are the winners in the few most popular categories:
Best Picture Drama : Power of the Dog (just confirms that it's Oscar favorite)
Best Picture – Musical/Comedy: West Side Story (for me one of the worst Best Picture nominees)
Best Actress - Motion Picture Drama: Nicole Kidman
Best Actor - Motion Picture Drama: Will Smith

While I do think that vote meriting sucks big time (I said that right at the beginning in the discussion thread) and it was obvious from the beginning what that will lead to as it happened with the first contest as well, its too late now to change the rules so drastically. If you did this change at the beginning when you saw that certain members are meriting only those that vote for them, I would say go ahead.

Imho best is to just suck it up, count the votes per current rules and make better ones for the next year's contest to reduce this kind of abuse at the minimum.

OP:  Your post is very hard to read through - can you walk me through what your findings and conclusions are, please?
From what I understood, he doesn't have the clear connection between YOSHIE's address 0x8BE4545257D36506cB3ce94e6D3feb2f0e07e411 that he used for loan, but he connected him to all these other accounts via 0xcda396d6e5b49f813bccc356eb48bc2de92ca56e address which YOSHIE never used, but those 2 addresses had one transaction ~3 years ago (https://etherscan.io/tx/0xddcce7484adc2ed52e2e0e1554b0162d9425bc533941e37f18324cf1a0f4d0f9).

Now whether that's proof good enough is another question.

3737  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin ATMs forced to shutdown in the UK on: March 14, 2022, 07:45:15 AM
It's not conspiracy, it's well known plans they want to remove cash and introduce fully tracked and controlled digital payments, with permanent kill button if you are not a good boy
What I wanted to say is that governments don't have to put any effort into this; they don't have to ban ATMs or anything of that sort to force people abandon cash as people themselves will do the job for them. Like people are doing with social media, making everyone track them easily.

Regarding Australia, I did read that banks shut hundreds of branches and several thousands of ATM, but I don't think that has to do with any government directive. As we all know, Australia had some of the harshest covid measures so no wonder that people will use ATMs/banks less if they can't even go out and it makes no sense for banks to keep them open if there is no people using them, as they do cost money. Add on that the info I read (don't know if its true) that 80% Australians prefer cards/online payment instead of cash and no wonder this happened to them.
3738  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin ATMs forced to shutdown in the UK on: March 13, 2022, 09:12:21 AM
I think many countries are preparing for starting CBDS and removing cash during and after global economic crash is one of their possible plans, and they don't want Bitcoin either.
While it's probably true that governments prefer people not using cash in order to control people more easily, big reason for banks shutting down branches and especially ATMs is due fact that people prefer paying with cards. Rarely anyone I know carries cash around (and if they do its very small amount) and they use cards for even a smallest thing like buying an icecream or beer in a bar.

So in the end we are doing all this by ourselves, no need for some conspiracy plan as you can always count on people doing it the easier way (and paying with card/phone/smartwatch certainly is) no matter the long term consequences.

5% is more than enough to be profitable, but what about one of our companies that has a fee of as much as 10% (AD), and deals with the purchase and sale of gold (I think you know who it is).
Yeah I know who you are talking about but luckily never had to use them, and certainly never would with that kind of fee. I understand fees being that high 7-8 years ago, but at this day and age with so many people buying & selling BTC, it's just insane.

But if you want cash in hand and without KYC sometimes you just agree to such conditions.
For me, BATM is the last resort kind of option, when I don't have any other way to cash out and I need money asap. In the last year or so I had to use it only once and hopefully not anytime soon as it just feels like a punch in the gut when you have to exchange bigger amount with that kind of fee.

I've never heard about this before and also no one is talking about it, I thought only mobile wallets and web wallets have closed source...arrgghh who created closed source hardware wallets?
Its pretty much common knowledge that the most popular hardware wallet (Ledger Nano s) is not an open source wallet as we can see it doesn't affect them much since they are market leaders.
