3721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: August 26, 2021, 07:21:38 AM
<...>
Why men would be more attracted by this kind of thing, as you say, than women? I don't understand. Do you have some figures about that? Because it's very hard to guess the gender of a player online, so I'm not sure it only attracts men.

Yes, I doubt that men would be more attracted by this kind of thing. Casinos probably rely on the fact that male sexual drive differs greatly from female sexual drive. Countless studies have shown that men's sexual drives are not only stronger than women's, but much more straightforward as well.
"Birds do it, bees do it, and men do it any time. But women will only do it if the candles are scented just right - and their partner has done the dishes first." [source]

Furthermore, statistics show that men are more likely to gamble and spend more money on gambling than women, and their personality traits make them more likely to become addicted to gambling.
3722  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Odgovor porezne o cryptu on: August 25, 2021, 08:56:10 PM

3723  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: [VELIKA LISTA] Hardverski novčanici (80+) on: August 25, 2021, 12:54:09 PM

3724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- now at: 21/22 Playoffs on: August 25, 2021, 08:09:21 AM
Failing to win vs 10 players for almost 60 minutes in your home is so frustrating for Eindhoven fans.. Malmo passed thanks to the goal scored in this match and it is funny to see Young Boys results the same as in the home game with an inverted red card, mirror force Tongue
For Wednesday games, Salzburg and Dinamo should pass too, but I think the most interesting match will be between Shakhtar and Monaco.

Dinamo has a really difficult task today, I personally feel their chances are slim. They are a better team on paper but they lost the 1st game 3-0, and more importantly they played really bad. I'm not sure how much they can improve in such a short period of time, Sheriff defended them without much problems a week ago.

Dinamo is lucky that they scrapped the away goal rule, with that active I'd say they have no chance of progressing. In an open game like this I expect Sheriff to score so I'll be going for both BTTS and over 3,5 goals bets.

Yeah. Sheriff beat Dinamo 3-0 in the first leg, and they are unbeaten in their last six matches. The home side, on the other hand, has struggled to score goals recently, with no more than one goal scored in each of their last five matches. This does not bode well for any chance of success.
3725  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Duelbits.com | Signature Campaign ~ Full Members+ | Up to $70/Week on: August 25, 2021, 07:16:41 AM
one simple solution would be paying users who have a good track record and miss only one or two posts and letting them compensate on the next week with extra posts, this would be much more fair than all or nothing

This is not a simple solution as other issues would arise. The line has to be drawn somewhere, and in this case, it's 10 posts a week in Gambling. If you want to allow yourself some wiggle room, then imagine that the line is at 12 posts a week and you should be fine.

By the way, this isn't a production line. It's a goddamn forum with some benefits!  Grin
3726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2020 caused a spike in gamlbing issues on: August 25, 2021, 06:36:50 AM
An increase during euro 2020 is common because there are big tournaments that will definitely make a lot of people interested in betting, the comparison is the previous year where there were no big tournaments, so the increase is only tentative can't be said to be an issues
Forbidding people to watch sports is not the right thing, if watching sports matches will make people interested in gambling then they must use professionals to solve the problems experienced by that person.

There are many recreational gamblers who bet on only occasional events and only select sports or teams. For instance, some follow local or national teams and only bet on them. I am among them.
We shouldn't be surprised by such big events as the European Championship or the Olympics causing an increase in sports betting, as they attract many casual amateur gamblers. As the number of gamblers increases, gambling addiction will inevitably increase as well.

Putting restrictions on sports events can only lead to bigger problems because people will turn to other methods of recreation and entertainment which are sometimes even more dangerous. The most important thing is to recognize when gambling stops being fun and becomes a problem. Such people should be offered help at the earliest stage to avoid more serious consequences.

3728  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 24, 2021, 09:17:05 PM
There are so many cases where users struggle with KYC procedures after they invest on the platform. It has been my observation that many popular gambling websites end up denying to pay back the funds in the name of KYC and point out all sorts of ridiculous reasons. Roobet, in that respect, redefines what it means to be royal. Other gambling platforms should adopt the same attitude as Roobet.

I disagree with this. Who will be loyal to a casino that refuses to pay the funds at the name of KYC if it is not stated in their terms and conditions?
I don't agree with your second argument either, that other platforms should follow Roobet's practices, since I cannot think of any benefits KYC could provide to the customers. Even funnier is that you promote a popular casino with NO-KYC policy in your signature.
3729  Other / Meta / Re: [Proposal] Tackling the spam on: August 24, 2021, 07:33:39 PM
I want to believe that this community operates more democratically rather than anarchically.

The rule of the majority (while respecting the rights of the minority) is one of the fundamental principles of democracy. I'm not sure we have that here.

The proposal I made is a pain in the neck to the ones who ruin the meaningfulness in the discussions, not to those who want to actually discuss. I thought that we'd agree on the stringency of the bounties/signature campaigns and not on leaving the spammers untouched to supposedly retain this forum's freedom.

A community this diverse will find it difficult to reach a consensus on any issue. At best, you can hope to get the approval of the majority, but you must also accept that the opposition may have a point of view as well.
3730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin go high the poor will not participate on: August 24, 2021, 07:04:42 PM
I am thinking that if the bitcoin continue to go up to $100,000 and above.  it will be expensive for the poor people to invest.
<...>

OP, how much is one kilogram of gold worth? Or one metric ton of gold? Would you find that expensive? Still, some people invest in gold, even the "poor".
Please, take more time to think about this.
3731  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Odgovor porezne o cryptu on: August 23, 2021, 09:41:08 PM
/snip

  • Općina do 10%
  • Grad ispod 30.000 stanovnika do 12%
  • Grad iznad 30.000 stanovnika do 15%

Wink

Hvala ti @dkbit98 na svim informacijama. Još moram istražiti ove OneKey uređaje.
3733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Visa bought a CryptoPunk NFT for $150,000 on: August 23, 2021, 01:07:14 PM
Visa's vice president and head of crypto, Cuy Sheffield, discussed the future of crypto and NFTs in a Forbes interview after the company purchased CryptoPunk #7610, the company's first piece of NFT technology, for $150,000.

"This is just the beginning of our work in this space," says Sheffield. "We're really excited to see what developers build and how we can help merchants, brands and platforms connect and interact with NFT commerce."

Vasa predvidanja u vezi pada btca do iduceg halvinga?

3735  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🤜 GamblingBro.com 🤛 Honest crypto casino reviews ✅ Tested with real deposits ✅ on: August 20, 2021, 07:47:59 PM
But it is obvious that there are points in a review where we must all agree and say "oh yes it is true" in any case this space in the forum it could work, and of course add some contact information.
Also thanks to you for the answer.

I believe GamblingBro's reviews are very thorough and objective. Having read several reviews of casinos where I've personally played, I couldn't find one single statement that I disagreed with.
Maybe we can talk about the scoring system and how much 'weight' he gives to each segment of the review, but that is his right. Personally, I think he's doing a great job.
3736  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: August 20, 2021, 07:21:06 PM

Apologies again for the delay on this. I've paid you now from my own funds as MCM are not responding.

If they ever do, I'll let you all know but I can tell you all right now that I'm not sure I'd even continue running the campaign if they wanted to resume it, we'll see though.

Enjoy your weekend, consider this campaign as ended and please do remove your Signature & Avatar if you are still wearing it.
3737  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 20, 2021, 04:34:42 PM
Bingo is a good example to illustrate that point. The tradition of the traditional Bingo game is almost dying out everywhere. The numbers of players are dropping. Except in a few places like UK, traditional Bingo is not very popular in most parts of the world. People are looking for something new to engage in, to keep them interested. And in reality, who can blame them? Let's face it. Playing slots and dice in an online casino can be boring as hell. That's why casinos have to offer new and exciting ways to spend your money.

Roobet casino is not the only one offering all those things. The number of other online casinos is increasing, and if you visit their websites, you will find that they are also very appealing and offer a great variety of exciting gambling options. From slots and roulette to online poker and sports betting, you have a huge selection to choose from  and there is something for everyone.
It is definitely understandable that you might be getting bored out of slots and dice but there are also a lot of people who are gambling in those games and there are many casinos that make a lot of money out of it as well. I have to say that it is definitely not a bad situation to be in as a casino to offer slots and dice at this point. I do not know maybe it is still boring but people are just so used to it and that is why they go to it? In any case, there are many that still play it.

I think you're missing my point. I didn't mean to imply that having slots and dice in the casino is bad, just that it's good to introduce new options, including sports betting. Different people have different gambling preferences, so a larger array of games attracts a wider audience and, thus, more players.

However just because you have a casino that everyone gambles at, even if everyone loves it, even if each day you get more customers than the previous day, that still doesn't matter, you have to understand that you have to keep on improving, keep on making profit more and more, which could be done by adding more and more stuff that people would love and gamble a lot of money.

That is true, but also begs the question, when is it too much?
3738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Describe your first gambling experience? on: August 20, 2021, 04:19:22 PM
My worst experience is that once I believed in the possibility of beating a gambling house with the help of Martingale strategy. By making small bets the strategy worked and I believed that with its help I could get rich if I increased the bet (how wrong I was then). Having increased the bet I lost a very large amount of money.

My first experience was exactly the same. Due to my ignorance and naivety at the time, I thought Martingale was a good gambling strategy. Classic gambler's fallacy.

And, needless to say, my first gambling experience wasn't a happy one.

According to reports, there has been full agreement with Leon Goretzka at Bayern. He will sign a long-term contract with the club in the coming days, possibly until 2026, with a salary around $15 million/year.

We will never last a year if we are too addicted, gambling does not have a limit for losers, only for winners, so if you keep losing, you are most welcome because they make money from you, and if you are not enjoying, then most probably you will just chase and time will come you'll steal money just to gamble.
Yep, if someone has been addicted, he probably won't last a long time. There will be complicated problems both for his funds and his attitude in life. That's why we must be very careful to avoid being addicted. We already know that some addicts ended with a bad story, although many of them can recover from addiction and be normal again. But don't ever think to experience addiction, it will be a too bad experience!!

Yes, gambling can destroy a person's life in some cases, as I believe many of us have seen. The addictive nature of gambling can affect a person's state of mind, as well as have serious psychological, physical, social, and professional impacts on individuals as well as on their families. Although gambling negatively affects a small but significant number of people, research has shown that many compulsive gamblers resort to drugs, alcohol, and other harmful activities in order to cope with the anxiety caused by their gambling habits. It is all about cause and effect, because once the cause has been identified and prevented, no harmful effects will occur.
