3724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 01, 2021, 12:51:26 PM
This is hilarious how all of us were wrong on this one

Only one guy, Ibuprofen, was close with his 1:1 prediction, and absolutely everyone else in the pool was wrong! There were predictions like 6:0, 5:0, I myself with several others predicted 4:0. Who would've guessed that after beating Man. United 5:0 on a visit, Liverpool would not win on Anfield? On one site I was offered to cash out almost 90% of my bet when the score was 2:1 in favor of Liverpool, but no, I waited until I lost it all.

But it appeared that Man. City vs Crystal Palace was even more unpredictable. 48 wrong predictions!
3725  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon musk now the richest man in earth on: November 01, 2021, 11:09:42 AM
~
As of 4th quarter of 2021, Elon Musk have an estimated net worth of $292.6 Billion and stands on the top of worlds richest person alive.
I think Elon will stay for this spot much longer than Warren Buffet, Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos combined. It's because he's the CEO and founder of SpaceX, owns Tesla and founder of the famous "The Boring Company", he also invested in ETH, dogecoin and probably have the most coins of bitcoin. And also, maybe we can really hear stories from people who keeps trusting his words and following his shadows who will probably sold their assets in few months or years to come.

Out of all public companies Tesla takes the 2nd position after MicroStrategy in regards to holding the most BTC:

But that's among public companies. I bet there are several not so public companies or individuals holding much more Bitcoin each.

Regarding Buffet, he'll definitely be out of the league soon. I'm not so sure about Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos. Those guys are keep pacing with the times, imo.
3726  Economy / Economics / Re: A way to make money online? on: November 01, 2021, 10:21:19 AM
~Quick ROI is possible. There's always something in the Big Gainers column on CMC

However, if you mean that making money on those is highly improbable, I totally agree with you. Most of the time, if you specialize on the sh*ttiest coins among the sh*tcoins, you are buying high, and then selling at lower price in hopes of redeeming at least a part of your investment.

The truth is that those winners if they knew how to hit it, it is difficult to see or have that ability to predict which currency or which NFT will explode ranking among the first.

Idk, maybe there are people who can distinguish between some false promises and genuine intentions to develop this or that project attracting large-scale investments, but I'm not one of them. To me it's always like high-risk high-reward gambling: when you do that stuff, you never put high amounts at stake.

Could anyone predict yesterday that ElonDoge DAO would gain 3,000% overnight? Or some GreenMoonZilla (WTF with the names, ppl!) would gain 500%? Not me. But even if I'd feel something like that was coming, I'd invest not more than $10, prolly just $1, in such a game.
3727  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Site for Gambling? on: November 01, 2021, 09:28:24 AM

It isnt something new for thread openers or asking out some query or suggestions but turns out that they dont really come back on what they had started and makes people do make out suggestions or responses for nothing which do really giving that absurd feeling but well its just really been part of the reality of this forum thats why yo shouldnt really be surprised.

Regarding on the topic on which site is Best then you could find lots but i
would suggest Roobet.com on this one.

I believe that it's never for nothing. Our replies can be read by other than OP people, and even though there are many threads on this forum similar to "Best Site for Gambling", in fact all of them are unique and what is lacking in one place can be found in another.

Overall I think it can be safely assumed that any site promoted on this forum, and without neg trust at the same time, is one of best crypto gambling sites around.
3728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: November 01, 2021, 08:55:39 AM
~
There's no way a "real person" who claimed to have inside information about the fixed match will offer it to a random community just like here in the forum.

Any form of such offer is considered a scam. I actually not alarmed on that but rather think, are there really people who will fall on that crap?

Absolutely. It's funny that these scammers are trusted by some people because since there are not that much of options, it's either a win, a loss or a draw, they turn out to be right sometimes, and then the rumors start to spread that they really have some inside info on fixed matches. Don't trust them. Just make your bets by yourself, and you'll see that you'll be winning or losing with the same frequency.

I think price from $90k to $110k is good for bet.

It's late to bet already, but some people did place bets on those ranges

I'm not one of them, but I sincerely wish them to win. They will get some great multipliers on their bets, and all of us here will be celebrating new ATHs, because an ATH is always a cause for celebration. Smiley

The Bitcoin price prediction for October turned out to be closed, I was too long to wait for the moment a few days before closing while looking at the BTC price. Unfortunately, I forgot to post the prediction before closing, now the prediction for November is open, I hope not to forget it again. BTW, about price speculations, I am quite optimistic that this November the possibility of BTC will manage to touch at least 70K, hopefully it will no longer decline at 67K.

Don't forget to place a bet or two this time, only don't hurry because during these 24 days which remain, so many things can happen ... On the other hand, if you are good in predicting the future, you can take advantage of the pretty high Time Weight Multiplier. Good luck!
3730  Economy / Economics / Re: Would crypto gain full intrinsic value? on: October 30, 2021, 08:19:24 AM
~
This is why I believe that crypto became an investment, because people realized that fiat is stable and will not make you too much profit while crypto is volatile and yes there is a chance you may lose a lot but there is also a chance that you may earn so much money that way, which is what I believe happened with crypto at the time as well.

So far all major coins were doing just fine in regards to long term profits from investing in them. However, it is not guaranteed that this trend will keep going for a long time. I mean, the volatility may remain, but the emergence of new ATHs may stop happening. From that point investing in crypto will be more like luck-based gambling, but up to the present it wasn't like that.

We should hope that bitcoin stays like this if we want to, because in the end if we stop being volatile then people will stop investing as well, more people will use it but that won't be enough.

When BTC stops being volatile it will become useful in other areas, where it can't be utilized with the current volatility level. Maybe some hard core traders will dump it then, but it doesn't mean people in general will stop  will stop investing in it.
3731  Other / Off-topic / Re: Facebook Plan To Rebrand Name To Meta on: October 29, 2021, 10:24:07 AM
Adopting a new company brand for a well established company is rarely a good idea. Idk, maybe they at facebook don't like their current reputation that much? And maybe for a reason.

The more I watched this video named "Everything Facebook revealed about the Metaverse in 11 minutes"

the more it reminded me of this scene from "The Mitchells vs. the Machines"

In the film it didn't end up well, it almost caused the end of human civilization. But that's just a film, right? We'll see what happens in real life.

^ This is a great way to earn some FREE bets from Sportsbet with Multi Master Challenge predictions.
I suggest that you guys watch UFC 267 Pre-fight Press Conference and faceoffs, because I can tell you that you could feel electricity in the air between fighters and I expect to see some amazing fights.
So is Polish or Brazilian power going to be stronger this weekend? Smiley

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_JcS1gHd44

I already made my predictions, and yet it was interesting to watch the Press Conference. It's almost certainly the nearest time to the event when we can see the fighters. It's like we can feel their spirit, read their mindset from the way they act and talk.

I'm not sure about my other predictions, but now I'm glad that I bet on Volkan Oezdemir to beat Magomed Ankalaev, and on Jingliang Li to beat Khamzat Chimaev(this guy looked so nervous like he knew he was going to lose). Also, from what I saw I think Jan Błachowicz will lose to Glover Teixeira, and I bet on Teixeira!

Thanks for sharing @notblox1! Now it will be twice as exciting to see how it turns out.
3733  Economy / Gambling / Re: There isn’t a poker room you could win at ? on: October 28, 2021, 03:21:43 PM
~
May be my words were not correct. I meant that the bot has his algo and it does not matter bluffing(for example) you or not for it.

Actually, bluffing does matter when you are playing with a simple poker bot. This is the easiest way to beat the machine: always be raising, and if it's re-raising - fold, unless you have something very good. Try it. You'll be surprised how easy you can beat them.

I`d like to play with expensive bot, but still haven`t seen even one.

You can get an impression of what it is like to play with such a bot. Google "poker AI", or search YouTube for something like that. Or, if you have no time for that, click on the image below

It's only a 4 minute video, but it's very informative.

3735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going for the Underdog or Not? on: October 28, 2021, 01:08:36 PM
Underdogs still have the chance to win, and not everyone is an analyst. You can bet on underdogs if you can analyze their stats, strengths, weaknesses, etc. If there're no stats available, just forget about it and pick more reputable matches. The odds, favorite vs underdog is meaningless, if you can't even make some educated guess.

That's true. If you can't analyse the odds by yourself it's more like a dice game, roulette, or any other purely luck-based game. And since, indeed, it's never 100% guaranteed that the underdog will lose, I'd bet on the underdog in this case. Just like I like betting with 1% win chance, or lower, in a dice game, and I prefer high volatility slots to low-medium volatility ones. The probability of your winning is so low that you are not expecting it, and that's why it feels so good to actually win.

3739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputable dice sites with instant/flash bets on: October 28, 2021, 09:40:42 AM

Instant flash bets arent really that something interesting because knowing results in a particular number of bets in an instantaneous ways where some people doesnt really like to look upon but there are people
who do love on having that way.

I agree, as a fan of dice game I personally prefer manual betting. I rarely do auto betting, only when it's a roll hunt challenge in the chat. I was never looking for a place with flash bets, and I'm not going to, but after reading through this thread I see this feature has its fans. Well, I think that's great actually, as long as it's entertaining and you are not losing more than you can afford to lose.

To me this is a btc burner .... :|

And for some people it's a place where they can potentially win a Lambo, a $1.5k iPhone, a $15k Rolex and many of other great prizes while risking absolutely nothing. And being new to the game, you may ask: "How's that? Shouldn't they wager 0.005 BTC for a Golden Ticket?", and the answer is no, not necessarily, they can just win Lambo Tickets through WoF, like this guy

Today from extra WOF claimed from reward point i won 1 Lambo ticket, ~

Also, this isn't all that "burner", if you think of it. The most part of the money lost by you goes on the winnings and prizes for other players.
